This global community of ours is being tried.

As it has been the case

throughout time,

every now and then we

go through a very intense trial

in Allah Subhana Allah and the Quran tells us that this is the nature of this life.

That we will be tested. We will be tested individually we will be tested communally we will be tested.

Globally, we will be tested.

The life of a believer is full of tests and trials and tribulations.

Allah made that very clear. And if meme has given us what you took away, and now I'm left unknown, do people think that they will claim or say that they have believed without being tested your Eman your faith is going to be put to the test.

And Allah Subhana Allah tells us that most people fail the test.

And an exceptional group of people actually hold on to their faith and make it through the test.

And we are being tested. Every day you and I experienced all kinds of tests. Some of these tests are blessings.

And some of these unfortunate obviously, and some of these tests are misfortunes and losses.

But this particular

test that the OMA is going through

is something unlike anything that we have seen or experienced before.

And what I see, I see a contrast

between those who are directly impacted by this trial and test

and they're taking this hit on behalf of the rest of us

and those who are

far away from what is happening.

Yet we are involved.

Directly or indirectly.

And we are impacted by this.

Because we see it we witnessed it we experienced it and many of us feel a sense of responsibility and obligation

towards what is happening to our brothers and sisters, particularly everywhere in the Muslim world. But particularly in the USA.

And obviously here, as American Muslims as taxpayers,

there's that added

responsibility that added sense of guilt.

Without going into the analysis of this particular dichotomy,

and this particular

complex situation without going through the details and analyzing it, we'll leave that for

some other setting.

What I find to be disturbing

is that those who are

getting killed, bombarded,

bombed.

They are driven out of their homes, their houses are being bombed, do they seek shelter somewhere they get bombed.

If they go to a hospital, they get bombed, if they go to a mosque, they get bombed, if they go to a church, they get bombed.

And they're told that there is no safe place anymore.

And they're being asked and pressured

to leave.

And if anyone is

really confused about it, what is expected is to see an exodus

and for the demographic

of that

area, that small tiny area to be completely changed

the plan is to

get rid of

Yes,

we find these incredible

human beings.

We find these

civilians, defenseless and I use the word defenseless loosely.

And many are experiencing second hand

trauma. And many are feeling that their Eman is being shaken. And that's what I want to address today.

That's what I want to address.

Because the last thing

that those

oppressed individuals need from us, is for us to sit helpless and cry.

The last thing they want from us is for us to claim victimhood

the last thing that they want from us to be hopeless, and helpless.

The last thing they want from us is to fall into a state of despair. The last thing they want from us is for us to be too scared to say anything or do anything within our capacity.

But this requires a level of steadfastness and Eman that many of us are struggling to maintain.

So where can we get that

level of resolve that we need? Because courage requires the resolve and Eman

and know that our Eman is our greatest tool. The secret of our victories our Eman we do not struggle we do not fight back. We do not do or say anything without that amount of hours.

And we see that in the example of

the greatest people of our past.

So where can we get that? Let me my dear brothers and sisters carry on from where I left off a day before this whole thing started.

I'm talking about the recent because this started 75 years ago just in case someone because what we are seeing is

is a symptom of the actual root cause that the international community continues to ignore.

Yet Alhamdulillah we see a lot of awareness, we see a shift in public opinion. People are getting informed and they're learning because some people are persistent

and sharing the truth.

So, let me carry on from where I left off. If you remember the last book that I gave a day before October 7, it was about the Quran.

And that's, that's where we need to start.

So Allah subhanho wa Taala tells us that the Quran came for the believers.

And one of his purposes, one of the one of the objectives of this book is to make the believers firm. youth have better living in harmony.

And Allah Subhana Allah tells us in the Quran, and this is my first point

that the disbelievers

wondered why this Quran was not revealed all at once upon the Prophet sallallahu alayhi

So what do we learn from this?

That unless we engage the Quran,

in a steady and gradual fashion on a regular basis, and we have a rigorous and continuous relationship with the Quran,

we're not going to achieve this steadfastness or firmness that we're looking for. Our Eman is not going to get stronger. We're not going to have result. but rather to use us and abusers.

So we need to wake up and turn to the one

that promises subhanho wa taala. And it's not unconditional. It's conditional promises, victory, promises, relief, promises help to those

And we get entertained or we get mesmerized and we get really, you know, many things. But when it comes to practicing it, we fail.

You see, in the old days, whenever victory or relief is delayed,

the community used to really dig deep into their practices and their lifestyles and see if there was something missing. If there was a sunnah that was abandoned if there was a violation that was committed.

And tonight we'll talk inshallah to Allah in the Friday night program, as we explore a couple of stories from the life of the Prophet salallahu Alaihe Salam.

And we will see, I'll give you an example. The companions of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, they almost

defeated Christ for the second time

in the battle

and there was a turning point where some of them decided to disobey the prophets of Allah or they said, instructions and orders.

And that victory turned into a defeat.

One order one prophetic command in order, it was very clear, they violated it.

and they, they learned a very painful lesson.

We're not better than them.

And we don't have a promise of Salam with us.

And we expect to get exceptional treatment from Allah subhanho wa taala.

That doesn't happen.

So Allah Subhana Allah tells us that the reason these stories are mentioned is for us to really learn from them

and be inspired by them. They're not meant to entertain us. So Allah azza wa jal says to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam in solitude, what could learn?

get you know Allah subhanaw taala times of prosperity and Allah azza wa jal will be there for you at times of adversity.

Turn to Allah subhana wa to Allah and ask Allah azza wa jal to keep you firm.

And ask ALLAH SubhanA wa Taala to keep you upon the right path and beg Allah subhanaw taala for desperately.

The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam of his

There is a lot that falls upon our shoulders. As we enjoy these freedoms and these privileges that we have.

And many of you are aware of these options that we can exercise.

So I urge you, my dear brothers and sisters, to come together as a community as one global community

and unite upon this faith of ours or uncertainty in the Promise of Allah subhanho wa Taala

and realize

that the pain of one part of this ummah, affects everyone else.

And realize that Allah subhanho wa Taala

has promised us that personal gain one of two beautiful outcomes

victory and triumph

May Allah Subhana Allah Allah grant us both.

May Allah subhanho wa Taala relieve
