My dear beloved, respected brothers and sisters,
I ask Allah who kept us alive to
witness the month of Ramadan to make us
from the people who will witness

you always hear
the statement
that Ramadan is about to finish.
Is Ramadan

come to an end.

to witness these coming 10 nights, Allah hates
a huge favor from Allah Azzawajal.
The best 10 nights of the year, bring
the calendar, put it in front of you
and ask, you Rasulullah,
what are the best 10 nights? Because the
best 10 days are the 10 days of
the Hijjah. But the best 10 nights of
the year are starting tomorrow night from Maghrib.
So if I messed up in the last
20 days,
When the when when you are going in
a in a in a race,
in a 5 mile race and you see
the
final,
you know, you wanna cross
the final
state,
you speed up, you increase in your speed,
you double
your energy.
You see the finish line? You want to
run.
And this is what's going to happen, biivnullah,
starting tomorrow.
These are the nights of forgiveness.
The nights
of saving necks from the hellfire,
the nights of shedding tears
are about to start.
Rasulullah salallahu alaihi wasallam
Aisha,
our beloved mother had
told us that in
these nights, Rasool alaihi wa sallam used to
do 3 things.
He used to tighten his belt.
No intimacy.
And
up all night.
During the year, he prays
and he sleeps.
These
nights, he rests a little bit after and
then all
night up.
And he used to wake up his family.
He used to do these three things.
These
last 10 nights,
and he used to exert more effort in
these 10 nights than any other nights.
Tae'ib, if this is the action of the
man,
not only guarantee Jannah, Jannah will not open
to anyone before him.
Imagine,
what should I be doing?
My brothers and sisters,
he used to do that for two reasons.
Number 1,
actions are judged by the way they end.
And number 2, because of
Because Laylatul Qadr is in these 10 nights,
and we should do the same. This Laylatul
Qadr,
subhanallah, it's a literally a gift from Allah.
When Allah
revealed the surah and he said
Let me tell you a quick story. It's
a long story but I'm gonna make it
very brief.
Rasoolullah sallam, one of his prophecies,
he was sitting with the Sahaba and he
told him you're gonna take him a place
in Iraq. You're gonna conquer a place called
Alhira in Iraq. So one of the sahabas
sitting down, his name, Aus, he said, You
Rasool Allah, can I have if we capture,
if we conquer this, area, can I have
that woman specifically? He said, It's yours as
a prisoner of war.
So long story short, Rasool al Salam died
at the time of Abu Bakr,
and they captured the hira. The prophecy took
place,
and this man took this woman.
So this woman
had a father
that is very very rich.
He said, how much do you want to
give me my daughter back?
He said,
1,000 dinar.
So the people said,
he he he gave he took the al
dinar and he gave the woman.
The people said, you could have asked anything.
This is his favorite daughter. This is his
only daughter.
He said, is there a number bigger than
elf?
Is there a number higher than elf?
So my point is when Allah subhanahu wa
ta'ala is talking and
saying, this is what they understood.
There was no million, there was no trillion,
there's no zillion.
So when we do the calculation that's better
than 83 years, it could be better than
800 years. It could be better than 8000
years. It could be better than a 1000000
years. Only Allah knows.
Khayr.
That by itself means better. When we do
the calculation, we say it's better than 83
years, but it's way much better than that
because all they understood at that time is
the word alf. Even rasoolallahu alaihi wa sallam
said when you enter the market, if you
say this dua, he did not say you
will get a 1,000,000 hasanah. He said you
will get alfa alfa hasanah. A 1000 times
a 1000.
So the point is
because that number was the highest number, otherwise
it could have been mentioned that it is
way much better than any number you could
imagine.
And be iznillah,
me and you are gonna witness it. Can
you imagine?
Can you imagine? What's the plan?
What's the plan?
Better than 83 years of Ibadah.
Better.
Only Allah knows how much
and not 83 years of
living. 83 years fasting all day, up all
night, reading Quran, making dua, giving charity.
Not just living 83 years, 83 years of
Ibadah. Many of us not gonna make it
to 83, so I'm having an opportunity
to get the azure of 83 years of
Ibadah just by dedicating
myself and my time and getting out of
my comfort zone for just 10 nights.
Can you imagine
that it is
100 nights
or 50 nights? Just 10 nights,
Just 10 nights. And if you do the
math
if you do the math and you say
it's not better equal to 83 years, that
night is equal to 83 years. If you
do the math, it comes out to
every second
is equal to one day of Ibadah.
One second
is equal to one day of Ibadah or
better than one day of Ibadah other than
Laylat Alqadr.
So how can I
not be planning? What
what is the,
what the Quran how much Quran I'm going
to read? Where is my list of dua?
Is it ready,
how many rakas, how much money I'm going
to give.
All that should be ready by now because
these best man nights are about to start.

what do we do in these nights?
You get up and you pray.

and Quran and salat.

we should be doing these 10 nights.

no more sleeping.
You sleep as much as you need to
survive and that's it. Because this could be
the last time I witnessed these 10 nights.
Or why our brothers that witnessed it last
year did not know that last year, 10
nights, was their last year ever witnessing the
10 nights.
The 21 year old that died on a
motorcycle accident. You think he knew that last
10 nights, Laylat al Qadr,
last year was his last
night of witnessing laylatul Qadr. Allahi he did
not know.
So this could be my last time witnessing
laylatul Qadr. What's the plan?
We have to have a plan from now.

Those are the 10 nights of Ramadan possibly.

And another big mistake,

Don't worry which night it is. Get busy
the whole 10 nights and focus on the
odd nights.
There's a hadith
being on the 21st. There's a hadith all
authentic being 23rd,
25th,
29.
There's hadith about every single one of these
nights, 100% authentic.
So my job
is to work hard all these nights. It's
not 50 nights, it's just 10.
I'm gonna work every single night,
and some of us look at the next
night and see the sun is or has
no rays.
Yesterday
was
Every single night you hear a struggle. Every
night, I have no clue.
If if it is known, it would have
been been known to the best man ever
created.
Right? So it's not known for me and
you to strive
harder and harder.

start begging Allah
Every single one of us ask Allah sincerely
Just like, you know, do you know that
Allah answered your dua
when you said a month ago, You Allah,
balirni Ramadan?

survive to witness Ramadan,
I beg him to make me and you
survive to witness.
How to witness There
are different levels.
The easiest
the easiest level to witness laylatul Qadr,
some people are very busy at work, some
people cannot leave and come to the come
and spend nights in the masjid.
So what is the
lowest level
in order to gain light al Qadr is
by praying fajr and isha in Jama'ah.
This is the least, the lowest.
Why? Because Rasulullah salallahu alaihi wa sallam said,
whomsoever pray fajr and isha in jama'ah as
if he's up all night.
So I am up all night.
And this is what I want. I want
the reward of being up all night.
So this is the minimum. Minimum to pray
fajr and isha in Jannah.
2nd level, pray fajr and isha in Jannah
and stay behind the imam praying taraweeh till
he finishes.
After he finishes, I leave. Why? Because Rasoolullah
sallallahu alaihi wa sallam said, whomsoever pray with
the imam till he leaves. Many of the
people now I see them after 8 rakah,
they leave even though this is the only
masjid that has 2 witter. So if an
imam finished witter and you left with the
imam, you will get the azure of the
whole qiyam for just extra 5 minutes.
And the other people who stayed, the last
imam is gonna pray with her again
and then they leave. So you will get
the azure of qiyam all night. That's the
second
the second level. Praying fajr and isha in
jama'ah and staying with the imam till he
leaves.
3rd,
you do those 2 and then you come
back for more or you could do it
at home. You do more qiyam at home.
You stayed here and you with the imam
and then you woke up at 3
AM, and you prayed on your own, or
half an hour, 1 hour, or maybe half
an hour, or
half an hour before fajr. You stayed, you
prayed more qiyam. You left Twitter to the
last time, last part of the night, and
you prayed it there. That's the next level
and the best of the best
to guarantee that is not gonna escape from
me.
10 nights in the masjid.
Not playing around and joking and talking. No.
Daytime Quran
and and, dua and,
and, alqar,
and night is
praying tahajjud,
not only playing around and talking around and
sleeping half of the day. No. No. No.
Like like Imam Shafi, he said,
naharuha kalaylihah. The the daytime is like the
nighttime of these 10 nights.
SubhanAllah.
So this is the peak. This way
I
divorced the dunya for 10 days and I
focused to get the azure
of 80 or over 83 years in Ibadah.
So laylatul Qadr has a has a mahar,

last thing is leave 5, 6 minutes
before Adhan al Fajr and dedicate that strictly

istighfar.

Allah praised

minutes
2 minutes

to the end.
Make sure you dedicate so you can be
from the people whom Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
have praised.
We all know that every single one of
us have a list of things that they
need and the
problems that they're going through.
These are the nights. My beloved brothers, these
are the nights. My sisters,
raise your hands in these nights.
Beg
Allah Ask Allah the impossible.
Ask Allah, You Allah, you are the one
who saved Yusuf from the well. You can
save me. You Allah, you are the one
who made the fire cool for Ibrahim.
You Allah, you are the one who gave
Zakariyah a baby at 85 years old. You
can solve my problems. You can cure my
sickness. You can guide my children.
You can grant me a job. You can
cover my debt. Ask Allah the impossible
with the back of your mind
remembering that Allah said
Keep in mind every time you're raising your
hands to make dua, remember Allah said,
It is very easy for me,
very easy for me. And he named himself
Al Mujib,
the one who answers the dua. Ask.
Ask and you have certainty that I'm not
asking a friend of mine, I'm asking the
one who is kadir,
who can do anything.
He can do whatever he wants. Sometimes we
ask with with a very weak
mindset
As if we are asking
a cousin or a neighbor, you are asking

is the best dua to make in these

you are the one who forgive and pardon
And you love to pardon, so please forgive
me. Pardon me. And if you want to
be forgiven,
forgive others before these 10 days.

Have hafu on others.

Forget about it. This could be my last
Ramadan. I'm gonna forgive everybody. I'm gonna text
everyone and say, please forgive me before these
10 nights. This could be my last 10
nights.

the month of Ramadan is the only month
that we come to you, and we ask
you for support, our masjid. So please,

1st khutba, I get 20, and the second
khutba, I get 25 people. They had raised
their hand for a $100 a month, So
I wanna beat that number. So I want
25 people at least that will give us
a $100 for the house of Allah. $100
a month.
