my dear brothers, I want to remind myself and knew about the importance of friends.

Allah Subhana, Allah mentioned the kinds of friends in the Quran

about one guy and in sort of the four corners, Renata said these are the kinds of friends

who, on the day of judgment, the person will regret.

And there wasn't a Yeah, late any luck at the hip will run. And

of course, we will say that Whoa, to me, I wish I had not taken such a person as my friend.

And the other kind of friends, lots of hugs that I mentioned in another place in the Quran, where Allah said, on the day of judgment, everyone will be the enemy of the other.

They will be the enemy of each other. Except illimitable.

Allah said except autocrine.

Everyone will be the enemy of the other. We also had another eye and the recitation in the first packet where and that's not that I said, they will run from each other,

from their mother from their father from their brothers.

And people will become enemies in this world we will be friends but in on the Day of Judgment, you don't want to see his face

except 11. Unless rather than accept the people.

So who is a good friend?

In a beautiful Hadith, Rasul Allah is Allah Allah Azza wa sallam said, a good friend is one who has three qualities.

Number one, that when you are with him, he reminds you of Allah subhanho wa Taala

greatness of Allah subhanaw taala. He said, The second thing is that when you are with this friend, you remember

that one day we have to stand up.

And he said, the quality of a good friend is that you learn something from him.

So every time you are with him, you will learn something from this person.

So these are the three qualities of friends. Today we look at ourselves and look at our friends and we say you know why, why is also your friend.

And if you do not have friends for these reasons, then we need to take stock. And we need to measure our friends on the criterion that was said by razzle dazzle.

of good friend is one who tells you what you need to hear, not what you want to hear.

But with us it is the opposites. A good friend is one who tells us what we like to hear. And if this friend tells us something that is critical, something that we need to hear,

Allah However, if you are doing something which needed to be criticized, then he is your enemy, who does not criticize you. Because if he is if you are going towards the pits, and he lets you go towards the pit, then what kind of friend is this.

And that is the reason why it is very, very important for us to choose our friends. Because as soon as as Alan said, on the day of judgment, you will be with those who love

a man gambler.

And as always say whenever we hear these, I had these with regard to the Sahaba we should be we should not see them or understand them. Like we understand ourselves. In this heavy there is a lesson learned in the having originally said that a man came to sorceress, Allah. And he said jasola I have he said when is the day of judgment?

So it was always a lesson and said, Why are you asking? What have you prepared for the day of judgment? And the man says, Well, I have nothing.

I have nothing except that I love Allah and as a result of that.

So to summarize, as Adam said, then you will be on the Day of Judgment you will be with those you'll have.

Now two things

if the ones we love are not the good people of this world and good not not according to our description, good according to what Allah subhanaw taala called good

then we will be with them, whoever they may be. And that is a reason why it is very important for us to pick and choose our friends.

Finally, what do you do if you are veterans?

Whichever way we were going in our lives and we add we collected a bunch of people

so what to do with them now.

The best thing according to me to do with them and give them the

best thing is give them the call them to the masjid tell them to do something good. Even if the person is not a Muslim present Islam to him give them

one of two things will happen. Either he will come in regards Alhamdulillah now, he's a good friend He has given us in the work or he will leave you

in both cases Alhamdulillah

so the best way of ensuring that we have the right bunch of bridges if you have the wrong bunch for example, give them that. Finally,

let us know one thing very clearly. We tend to take this Deen in bits and pieces what suits us we take what doesn't suit us we don't take

I've mentioned this many many times before

in terms of friendship in terms of who we are with we belong to various clubs

in this city and other cities in the world, many of you who listen to these further reminders and speaking to all of them, we belong to various clubs. This club that loved this social club that was hooked up and you and I know that Allah Masha Allah every one of those clubs, has practices and has things in it which are clearly Haram in Islam.

There is no doubt about this. Alcohol is haram gambling is around playing cards and whatever stuff is haram, noodles, Year's Eve party Zahara music is haram dancing is haram.

Yet we will not leave those memberships of those clubs because Satan has put it into our heads that if I belong to such and such a club, then I have status. And we give all sorts of lame excuses No, no no I go there only for the gym. There are 1000 gyms which are gyms alone without any alcohol in them without anything in them you want to so physically inclined to pump iron go to the gym.

Go to that you do not have to go to a club, which has all of these things.

Know I go there for the swimming pool, I was afforded the halala water level

please do not fool yourself. Because if you are a member of that club, then in terms of your friends list that is where your name is.

And let me not mince any words about desire that is a million times and I'm saying it again. resign now

because the day will come when if you don't resign and if you are in that list, may Allah protect you and me from that fit.

So may We ask Allah subhanaw taala to help us to do that which is pleasing to Him. And we ask Allah subhanaw taala to save us from that which is not pleasing to Him. And we ask Allah Subhana Allah to give us good friends. And we asked Allah subhanaw taala to clean our hearts with respect to our good friends, especially ones like me will keep on poking and biggi and we ask Allah Subhana Allah to gather us together under the earth Shafi under the share of his ash and be pleased with us and together under the shade of his ash, along with those people with whom he is pleased, with some Allah Allah Neville Karim Allah Allah us heavy ajwain bureaucratically
