The heart is the most significant organ of the human body, both physically and spiritually. Thus, we need to strive to make sure our hearts are sound, healthy and free of every defect. The Prophet (SAW) said, “There is a piece of flesh in the body, if healthy, the whole body is healthy, and if corrupt, the whole body is corrupt. Indeed, it is the heart.”

Welcome to this latest episode of heart therapy.
In these last several episodes, we have been covering various actions related to the heart. And so, in the previous episode, we had a look at the action of the heart, which is that of hope. And then we looked at their action, which is that which is related to the fear of Allah subhanho wa Taala. So on the one hand, you have the fear of Allah, and on the other hand, you have hope for Allah's mercy.
And in today's episode, we want to discuss another related action of the heart, that is of utmost importance. And that is the action which is known as a habit, or the love of Allah subhanho wa Taala. And so we all know that love is something that originates from the heart, the heart is always used as a symbol for love.
And what is meant by an hebda is that you fall in love with something
that causes you to prefer that something or someone over everything else.
And this is why Allah subhanho wa Taala required from all of us, that we fall in love with him and him alone, to the point where we prefer him and give precedence to him over every other love. And that is why the sin of share. associating partners with Allah is so great, because it diminishes this love that we are supposed to have in our hearts for Allah alone.
And so Allah subhanho wa Taala tells us, of those who associate partners with him, how they love their idols that they worship, the objects of worship, that they worship, they have a love for these objects of worship. And so Allah says wamena nasty, mania, Toshi do mundo de la he and then you have buena home. Kabila Allah says, and yet among the people are those who take other than Allah as equals to him. They associate partners with Allah. They love them, as they should be loving a lot. And then Allah says, will levena am and who shall do who Bella Bella, as for the people who believe the believers, they are stronger in their love for Allah subhanho wa Taala, meaning the believers
have a stronger love for Allah subhanho wa Taala more than these people have shared, who love their idols.
And that's why someone who is in love with someone else.
If he finds out that his beloved
is sharing that love with a third person,
it would fill him with rage, he would go crazy. And he would never forgive that beloved person of his. So how about a loss of Hannah who were to add and sharing the love that should be for him alone, sharing it with others.
And so true love for a loss of Hannah who would data is to fill your heart with love for him and empty out of love for everything else and to give precedence to his love and pleasure over
All other pleasures. However, it's important here to understand that
this kind of love, which we are supposed to direct to Allah subhanho wa Taala
it is different than the love, which we have for certain people,
such as loving our parents, or a father loving his child,
or a mother, loving her children, and so on and so forth. This we call a natural love, that is not based on veneration, it is not based on glorifying the person being love. Whereas
our love for Allah subhanho wa Taala is a type of love that involves veneration and glorification.
And so as long as the person you love is not out of veneration, it is not out of glorification, then we say that this is a natural kind of love that we are actually required to have. And a person who doesn't have this kind of love in his heart, this natural kind of love for others, then it is a sign that his heart is hardened.
And so not all the believers are at the same level
with regards to their love for Allah subhanho wa tada although they do share the very essence of their love for Allah subhanahu wa tada in their hearts, but they are at various degrees, some their love for a lot is weak, and others, their love for Allah is strong.
So how can we gain that strong love for Allah subhanho wa Taala in our hearts, there are several ways we'll mention two of them. Firstly, by cutting off all relationships with that which our hearts are attached to, of the dounia.
And so this is when that love and that attachment contradicts the love for Allah subhanho wa Taala. And so if you love somebody, or love something,
and that love opposes
something of the obedience of Allah or his disobedience, then this is where we say you have to cut off that love, you must cut that love off. The second way is by getting to know a loss of Hannah who were to Allah.
Because whoever has knowledge of Allah subhanho wa Taala he loves him. And whoever loves Allah is then encouraged and pushed to do actions that lead to the pleasure of Allah subhanho wa Taala and so once we truly love a loss of Hannah, who were to Hannah,
Allah subhanho wa Taala then he turns to us in love. And so it's not just a one way, love relationship, but rather it's two ways. If you truly love Allah subhanho wa Taala then he will love you back. And so how do we know? That was Hannah? What Allah has truly loved us? Allah subhanho wa Taala says regarding this love relationship, good incoterm to hipbone allow her to be Rooney, you beep kumala who will feel a coup de lubac Allah subhanho wa Taala says commanding His Messenger sallallahu alayhi wa sallam say, if you love a lot, if you should claim to love Allah, then follow me. Meaning follow the messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, then Allah says what is the
reward for those who follow the messenger?
Allah will then love you and will forgive you your sales. And so this is the yardstick. This is how you measure your love for Allah. And Allah His love for you. Are you following the messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam or not. And so if you are truly following the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, in what he has commanded, and staying away from what he has forbidden and going to him for legislation, and to be the judge among you, then you
followed him and your love for a lot is true. Therefore Allah subhanho wa Taala will in turn, love you.
Now besides that,
Abraham may Allah have mercy upon him. He mentioned 10 ways in which we can instigate the love of Allah subhanho wa Taala in our hearts, and he mentioned this in his wonderful book, his magnificent and most beneficial book known as Madame outage, Salah Keem.
And so, he stated that these means are these reasons are required for one to move from the station of El mohib Lila, the one who loves a lot to the station of alma haboob mean Allah, the one whom Allah subhanho wa Taala loves.
And so he mentioned 10 ways or 10 reasons. And so what we'll try to do is we'll try to mention all of these in the coming few minutes. But before we do that, we will go on a short break, and be right back.
Salam Alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh welcome back to this episode of heart therapy. Before the break, we were discussing the action of the heart which is having love for Allah subhanho wa Taala.
And we mentioned that there is a way of loving Allah subhanho wa Taala.
And this is one station, that a person he loves a lot, but then there's something else called Allah subhanho wa Taala loving you. And so everyone can claim to love Allah subhanho wa Taala but how many of us can claim that Allah loves us in turn, in fact, every single human being claims that God loves them, the Christians and everyone else. But how do we know that Allah subhanho wa Taala loves us?
It will call him he mentioned 10 ways that can help us to achieve the love of Allah subhanho wa Taala after us having loved Allah subhanho wa Taala
it's all he says that the first way of doing this is by reciting the Quran with contemplation and understanding its meanings, what is known as a tugboat
knowing what is meant by what Allah subhanho wa Taala is saying, just as the contemplation of a book that someone memorizes and he seeks to understand its meanings, he explains it in order to make others understand the intent of the author of what he is trying to say.
And so to not only recite the Quran, but to recite it with contemplation, this is something that Allah subhanho wa Taala wants from all of us. And so Allah subhanho wa Taala says, fly into the Bruno Quran and Allah, Lubin Fallujah, do they not then reflect upon the Quran? Do they not then ponder over the Quran? Or are there locks placed on their hearts that are preventing them from pondering over the Quran.
The second means that he mentioned he says, getting close to Allah, by way of a Noah, Phil, which are the voluntary actions after the photo Arab after the obligatory actions, for indeed, it leads to the rank of being loved, after the rank of loving. And so it's one thing to fulfill the obligations that Allah Subhana who Allah has commanded us with, but if you truly want a lot to love you, then don't just suffice with that much, but do more, do extra hours. And that's why the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam says in the Hadith, could see
Law says, my slave does not get closer to me by anything more beloved to me, than what I have made obligatory upon him. And my slave continues to get closer to me, by way of a no acid, until I have loved him, until I have loved him, then, if I have loved him, I become his hearing with which he hears, and his sight with which he sees, and his hand with which he strikes at his foot with which he walks. And if he was to ask me for anything, I would give it to him. And if he was to seek my forgiveness,
then I would forgive him. And if he was to seek refuge in me, I would provide him with refuge. So this shows us the importance of doing the Noah Phil, after having completed the Ferrari.
The third means that he mentioned is the constant remembrance of Allah subhanho wa Taala at all times,
with the tongue, the heart, the action, and in every state. So his share of love is in proportion to his share of this remembrance. And that's because Allah subhanho wa Taala says, further Cooney, as good or further qurani as corkum remember me, and I will remember you, meaning that the more you remember Allah,
with your heart and with your tongue, the more Allah subhanho wa Taala will remember you. And because you remember Allah, due to your love, then Allah subhanho wa Taala will also love you. The fourth means that he mentioned is giving precedence to what Allah loves, over what you love, when the whims and the desires start to prevail, and then ascending to what he loves, even if the ascent becomes difficult. And so, if you truly love Allah subhanho wa Taala, and you want him to love you, then control your desires.
The fifth means that he mentioned is having the heart to examine the names and attributes of Allah and observing them and being aware of them, and rolling about in the gardens of this awareness for the one who is aware of a lot through his names, his attributes, and his actions. Then, he subhana wa Taala has certainly loved him, and so and has an advisory. May Allah have mercy upon him the great Tabori. He says, Whoever is aware and knows his Rob, then he subhanho wa Taala will love him.
Among the means that he mentioned, the sixth point that he mentioned, is observing the kindness and the benevolence of Allah subhanho wa Taala and his blessings and his bounties, both inward and outward. For verily, it is a motive towards loving him. As Allah subhanho wa Taala says, What into adunni amatola he led to suha. If you were to try to enumerate to count the blessings of Allah, you will never be able to count them. They are so many. And so the one who sits down and reflects over these blessings.
He is then grateful to Allah over these blessings. He thanks a lot for these blessings. And the one who thanks Allah. He does so because he loves Allah. And Allah Subhana, who has added intern shows love towards him.
The seventh point that he mentions among the means that can help us to attain the love of Allah subhanho wa Taala he says, and this one is the most amazing of all of them, the breaking down of the heart in humility, before Allah subhana wa Tada. He says, and there is no expression of this better than this other than names and words, meaning that he cannot even put into words how to explain this state. And so this basically is the state of an hasura that we have previously spoken about in a previous episode. And so Allah subhanho wa Taala praises the believers who have that horseshoe when they stand before a loss of Hannah who data in their prayer called the earth wilhelminian. Ella Dino

Believers they have succeeded who who are the believers? Allah says those who in their prayers they have who Sure.
The eighth means that you mentioned he says secluding with Allah subhanho wa Taala being alone with a loss of Hannah who Adana at the time of the Divine descent, at the time when a law comes down to the lower heavens, which is in the last third of every night, he says, to call upon him, and to recite his words, and standing with the heart and behaving before him with the behavior of true servitude. Then concluding all of that by asking for forgiveness, and repentance. And Allah subhanho wa Taala praised these individuals in the Quran, when he said that's a Java julu boom, angle Moto G, yet the ruler Rob bam, how fun wautoma. And when in Rosana home, you will feel cool, there are sides
forsake their beds, meaning they were lying down and sleeping, and they abandon that they forsaken. Why in order to get up and invoke their Lord in fear and hope. And they are those who spend out of what We have given to them.
The ninth point that he mentions, he says, sitting with the affectionate and the truthful ones, and collecting the best fruits of their words, just like one selects and chooses the best fruits and not speaking until the benefit of one speech
becomes apparent to him. And he has known that there is an increase of his state of affairs and a benefit for others. So here I am, he mentioned two points. The first is to be friend and accompany the righteous. And the second is to collect from their words and
oneself to only say that which is good and pleasing to Allah subhana wa Tada.
And so, this is based on the fact that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, in the Hadith kotse, where Allah subhanho wa Taala says, My Love has become binding for those who love each other for my sake.
And he said, My Love has become binding for those who visit each other for my sake. And my love has become binding for those who sit with each other for my sake. And so this shows us that if you want to attain the love of Allah subhanho wa Taala then sit with those who have lost Hannah who attalla loves. Finally, the 10th point that you mentioned, he says, staying away from every single reason or cause that stands between the heart and between Allah subhanho wa Taala and that is because the pure heart, the sound heart, that is the only one that Allah loves. That is the one that will come on the Day of Judgment.
And it will benefit the person as a loss of Hannah who attended says yo malaria and from now on will happen on the day in which no wealth, no children will benefit a person Illa men at the lobby Calvin Salim except one who comes before a law with a sound, healthy heart.
And so to conclude, the love of Allah subhanho wa Taala is not something that is easy to gain. However, the one who
instigates it, the one who instigates the love of Allah subhanho wa Taala he is called upon in the heavens and on earth. And so in the hadith of Abu hurayrah, viola Han, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, If Allah subhanho wa Taala loves a servant, he calls upon God. And he says, Verily, Allah loves so and so. So love him.
And then gibreel in turn, he loves him. And then he calls upon the inhabitants of the heavens, meaning Jubilee, rally, Islam in turn, calls out to the inhabitants of the heavens, which are basically the angels and says, Verily, Allah has loved so and so. So you to love him. And so the inhabitants of the heavens, they love that individual. Then after that, he is granted, acceptance by the people of the earth and so on.
begins from Allah subhanho wa Taala he loves the individual, then the angels love him, then all of mankind, they love that individual. This is the highest level that once a person has reached, there is no other love beyond that. And this is the love that I asked Allah subhanho wa Taala to place in my heart and your heart.
