Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh

hamdu Lillahi Rabbil alameen wa salatu salam ala rasulillah Hello amin, I'm about All praise is due to Allah Who created man from clay, the master and owner of Judgement Day. Allah Who knows what we can seal and knows what we reveal and what leaves may fall and what the animals feel. And upon His Messenger we asked his salah and his praise, and we asked to remain steadfast till the end of our days.

Dear listeners, and dear brothers and sisters, our topic today is Salah. And I asked Allah subhanho wa Taala that this advice is sincere, and that it is taken as advice rather than a lecture. Struggling with Salah is something that many Muslims have experienced. Some have overcome and triumphed, while others were subdued. we addressed those who gave up their salah and do not pray anymore.

Are you too busy to worship Allah?

Or perhaps too lazy? Or maybe even too arrogant? Or maybe you have a good heart and are not in need of prayer. And many people say that they say that it's all about the heart, and that the external actions are not important. So if the external actions are not important, why did the prophets of Allah send them say a surah to Mr. De man, a karma has occurred a comma Dean, woman had Emma half academic dean, that the prayer is the pillar of the religion, whoever oppose it and performs it. So if you claim that you have a good heart, and that it's sufficient for you not to pray, then how will your judgment be? Because we know that the first thing you're going to be asked about is prayer, even before what's in your heart before they get to what's

in your heart, the first thing you will be asked about on the Day of Judgment is your prayer.

And the first matter the provinces send them tells us in the body. The first matter that the slave will be brought to account for on the Day of Judgment is the prayer. If it is sound, then the rest of his deeds will be sound and if it's bad, then the rest of his deeds will be bad. So that means Salah is first and foremost. Allah subhanaw taala says describing people in the Quran saying in Sunnah Holika Holika that verily man was created impatient, either Mr. shabu Jazeera is irritable when evil touches him. So when bad things happen, he's irritable. We're either Mr. Romano and, and he's stingy when good touches him. So when something good happens, he becomes stingy. So aren't

these bad descriptions that someone is impatient, irritable when evil touches them, and then when good touches him, he becomes stingy. These are bad descriptions and they're indicative of a bad heart. So then how do you prevent this and who is better and who's an exception to this case? Allah azza wa jal continues, illness only except those who are devoted to salah and levina, whom Allah salata him, the imune, those who remain constant in their prayers.

So that means then, that there is a direct link between what is in the heart and your actions.

And we know that saying La ilaha illAllah is one of the keys to paradise. But to say that there is no god worthy of worship, but Allah is one of the keys to paradise. But I asked you, what is the value of saying that there is

No God worthy of worship except Allah, and yet you don't worship Allah. And Salah is one of the greatest acts of worship done with the body. So how can you have a good heart and not pray when the prophets of Allah and send him said, Whoever leaves Salah disbelieves.

And some people say, Well, I don't harm others. So it's not important for me, maybe Solo is important for other people, but not for me because I don't harm others. I don't do bad things.

So how can this alone not be important for you, if Allah mentions it in the Koran more than 700 times, and there are those who say, that the people who pray are the worst people, and that they're liars, and that they're this and that, and this is a statement that many people make, but Allah makes a different kind of Satan. Allah Subhana, Allah says, In the salata, tenha and in fact, I will make that very alert, Allah prevents the evil and the wicked deeds. So who are we going to believe.

And then some people make the excuse of laziness.

And perhaps, laziness is not the real reason why you don't pray, because you're physically capable of doing many things. If a company hires you, and they pay well, and they're going to give you benefits, but work just starts a little early, you're going to go on time, and you're going to strive and to struggle to make it there on time. So perhaps the reason is that you don't know the benefits of solar. And that's why you feel lazy.

And if your airplane is going to leave 3am or 4am, and you have to get up early to go to the airport, you're going to get up early, and you're going to rush to the airport. So how can one say that they're not that they're lazy, and they're not capable? When you find them at work, they're very energetic, and they're very hard working.

Too lazy to serve Allah subhanho wa Taala. And he's the one who has given you all these blessings, your health, your wealth, your eyesight, your intelligence, your loved ones, and he's the one who takes care of you every day. And he protects you from harm, and from calamities every single day. And he gives you the ability to recognize true guidance, and much of the creation is astray.

So you should be ashamed to not pray in front of Allah while he's taking care of you.

One of the early Muslims Abraham, Rahim Allah, a man came to him, and he said, Oh, boy is Hawk, I have many sins. So give me admonition. So he wants him to tell him something that will benefit him, so he can stop his sinning. So then Abraham tells him, if you accept these five conditions, and you're able to do them, then no sin is going to harm you. So the man says, Give me the first. So Abraham tells him, if you want to disobey Allah, then do not eat of His provision, do not eat, if you want to disobey Allah don't eat from what he provides for you, the food and drink and all these things that he provides, don't eat from it. So then the man says, From where will I eat, then? And

everything on the earth is his? So then Abraham tells him, is it appropriate to eat from His provision and disobey Him?

So then the man says, No, give me the second advice. So Abraham tells him, if you want to disobey Allah, then do not stay in his lens. So the man says, This is greater and then where should I live then? So then Abraham tells him, does it make sense to eat of His provision, and live in his land and sin against him? And the man says, No, give me the third advice. And he tells him, if you want to obey Him, while you're eating of His provision, and living in his land, then go somewhere where he cannot see you. So then he says, oh, Abraham, and he's the one who sees what is in the hearts. So then Abraham tells him, is it suitable to eat, have the provision of a law and live in his land, and

then sin against him while he sees you and knows what you do? So the man said, No, give me the fourth advice. And he says, when the Angel of Death comes to take your soul, say, give me a chance to repent to Allah to do good deeds. So the man says he won't accept from me. So Abraham tells him, so if you're not able to push death away, so you can repent, and you know that when it comes to it can't be delayed. So how can you expect to be saved? So he says, Give me the fifth. So Abraham tells him, when the angels come to take you to the Hellfire, don't go with them. And the man says they won't let me. So he tells him, so how do you expect to be saved then? And he tells him enough,

enough, oh, Ibrahim, a Stouffer law that I seek forgiveness with Allah and I repent to him. And then it is said that after that he took to the worship of Allah, and he stayed away from sins until he died.

Don't these conditions apply to you? Don't you live in a large land and eat of a loss provision? So why don't you pray to the one who takes care of you

Perhaps as we said, you're not aware of the excellence of prayer. And the book of Muslim is sort of the Aloha narrates that the Prophet sallallahu Sallam said, the two rockers before dawn prayer before the federal prayer are better than the whole world and all that it contains. So we have not even begun to talk about the five obligatory prayers. So why would anyone be lazy after knowing this?

And some people say it's too difficult to get up and to wash and to pray and so on. And yet you still don't pray to Allah azza wa jal,

the famous doctor and philosopher Ibn Sina Han Allah. He says he recalls a moment in his life. It was a cold and very icy night. And he and his slave were resting at an inn in a remote part of florissant. And during the night he became thirsty. So he called his servant to bring him some water. And the servant didn't want to leave his warm bed. It was a cold night, so he pretended not to hear it had been seen as cold. But then after he starts calling on him and calling on him, he reluctantly got up and he went to bring some water.

And then a little while later, he hears the sound of the van filling the air, and then even seen, it begins to think about this might have been who's calling the people to solo and he thinks, my servant Abdullah, always respects me and admires me, and he tries to take every opportunity to praise me and to serve me, but tonight, he preferred his own comfort to my needs. So the question is, do you love Allah azza wa jal? If so, then where is your obedience to Allah? Where is your salon?

Or perhaps this laziness is actually as a kind of arrogance. And how can you be too arrogant to stand in front of Allah azza wa jal in all his greatness and align all his greatness when you stand in front of him, he turns and he looks at you. That's why the early Muslims used to say, when you stand in front of a law, stand with a devout frame of mind, and be mindful of turning meaning looking around in your Salah. Be careful not to look around in your Salah and look why they say so that while Allah is looking at you, you are looking at something else. Just imagine that Allah is diligent in all his magnificence and his greatness and his glory. You're standing and praying to Him and he's looking at you. And while he's looking at you, you start

to look at something else. So to look at the watch, start to look at things on the ground and patterns on the floor. Well, Allah azza wa jal is looking at you and will lay if someone did this to you

When you look at them and speak to them, they turn away from you. You wouldn't appreciate that. So why would you ever do that to your Lord? subhana wa Tada. And how can you be too arrogant when Allah describes and Minoan and sort of, you know, and Allah describes the believers. Allah first begins by describing the people who are successful and prosperous. So Alonzo, just a minute. So the first thing Allah describes the people who are successful, and their first description is that they're known that they're believers. they're solid, that they feel this focus and humility, while they're praying to Allah is the widget. And there are those people who say that work is worship, and I'm in a bad that process lm said, work is worship. So when we're at work, we don't pray because work itself is worship. So how can it be an excuse to not pray and if you go out and you buy a shoe, and when you come home, you find that the shoe is too small for you? Do you get a saw or a knife and you cut away from your foot? Obviously, you change the shoe.

So do you cut away from your Salah and squeeze the time of your Salah at the end of the day because of work? Or do you change your work schedule so you can pray and the Salah barely takes with its will do and everything else more than 10 minutes or less of how to how to describe certain people in the Quran. Who did this to the Salah times they messed up their Salah times because of whatever reason they had. prayers, they pray, but they combine their prayers and mix up the times. So what about those who don't even pray to Allah subhanho wa Taala.

And there are others that complain that they have so many sins, and they see that one day I'm going to repent, and I'm going to start praying. So the response to that is from the Prophet sallallahu sallam, where he says that if a person had a stream outside his door, and he bathed in it five times a day, so someone in front of his house, he has a running stream, and he will bathe in that stream five times every day, the process and been asked, Do you think that he will have any filth left on him? And the people said, No, no fluff would remain on him whatsoever. And then the profits of Elias lm said, that is like the five daily prayers. Allah wipes away the sins by the five daily prayers by

them. And what does that mean? If you have these five prayers like a river to wash your sins, it means that when you meet alone, the Day of Judgment

You're going to meet a low while you're clean inshallah. to Allah is 100 times more beautiful than running away from him. And there is no beauty and running away from Allah. And Allah Subhana Allah tells us in the Quran, in the law, how you have been, where you have been matahari Verily, Allah loves those who are repentant, and he loves those who purify themselves. So repent, constantly repent to Allah, train yourself to always come back and repent to Allah. And Allah will love you for that repentance and will love you if you purify yourself. There are those who say that I asked Allah. And he never responded to me. So I give up the prayers. So the question is, Will you not then trust the infinite wisdom of Allah azzawajal? Isn't he the one who

said, perhaps you may love something, and it's bad for you. And perhaps you may hate something, and it's good for you. So if Allah knows that something is not good for you, he's not going to give it to you. Because when you make it, you generally want something which is good to happen to. So now what if you're asking for something that's going to cause you harm, then Allah is not going to give it to you. Because in that sense, Allah will be giving you that which is good. You only want what is good for you. So when Allah doesn't give you that which is bad, even if you ask for it, he's actually giving you good.

And Salah is part of your preparation for the next life and part of your battle against sins. So why would you ever give up Salah Hassan even NBC none one of the early Muslims are him Allah. And this is how the early Muslims and the righteous used to prepare for their death, with long prayers and extra prayers. And from the excellence of Salah is that the word Salah, it comes from the root cellar, which means connection or link. So it's that which links you and connects you to your Lord.

So what links you to your Lord?

The Messenger of Allah sallallahu Sallam says that Allah Subhana, Allah says, When my slave my servant says in his prayer and hamdu Lillahi Rabbil alameen that Allah says, My servant has praised me. And then when the servant says Rahmani Raheem, the Merciful, the Compassionate man, the kiyomi, the Master of the Day of Judgment, Allah will say my slave has glorified me. And then when the servant says, he cannot, Buddha can sustain you alone, we worship and your aid we seek, then Allah says, This is between me and my slave. And then when the servant says, in a certain stocking, show us the straight path, Allah says, This is for my slave, and I give my slave what he wants. But an

So in case the Prophet said, I'm needed anything at night, he would be right at his doorstep. So he says, so I will, I would constantly hear him saying in his house, sapan, Allah Subhana, Allah Subhana, Nairobi, that he's

always remembering Allah, making Vicar of Allah.

He says, then until I would get tired, or sleep would overcome me, who said I would get bored, or sleep would overcome me. prayer. So when they come they find the people praying, and when they leave, they find they leave the people praying. But how would you like if all the reports of these angels about you? Were that you were sleeping

and watching television at us?

or sleeping and sleeping again at us? Wouldn't you be ashamed in front of Allah? If this is all that it's reported about you is that you're asleep the whole time? or watching television never reported about you that you're praying

Some of the scholars mentioned that this disagreement of opinion only arose later in the later generations of scholars. Why? Because they say this was not known among the Sahaba or the lavon. This didn't exist How can someone be a Muslim and not pray? They didn't have this debate amongst them.

Towards the end of sort of Nyssa Allah describes the hypocrites. Allah describes them saying, in the Muna 14 if it dorkin s philomela. Now, that Verily, the hypocrites will be in the lowest depths of the hellfire. So these people were below the kuffaar and below many different people because they're the worst of people. So they're going to be in the lowest depths of the hell *. But then look how Allah describes these people, and they're supposed to be the worst of people. Allah Subhana Allah says, In the Muna Sakina you had your own Allah will who will hide your own home will either come in a fanatee kamuzu Salah, your own a nurse, whether it's Quran, Allah, Allah, Allah says, verily the

hypocrites seek to deceive a law, but it is he who deceives them. And then look at this description. Allah describing the hypocrites now the worst people and when they stand up for Salah, the prayer, they stand with laziness, and only to be seen of men. And they only remember Allah very little. So Allah azza wa jal is mentioning the worst of people and describing them that when they get up for Salah, this is a bad thing that they do. They get up lazy for Salah, and they remember Allah literally. So how do you feel when Allah is describing the worst of people, the people in the lowest depths of the hellfire.

And the bad characteristic is that when they get up to go pray, they get up lazy for Salah. What about those who don't get up to pray at all?

Is this a category that you would like to be in?

In the Day of Resurrection, Allah subhanaw taala will resurrect every human being that was ever created of the past nations of the present, and of the future nations, all of them will be resurrected, and a lot of power to Allah says in the Quran, that he will create a new earth because this earth will be destroyed, your material will have the same out. As you know, on the day of judgment, the oceans will be turned to fire and the mountains will be crushed the powder. So then our last hot, I will create a new earth on which to judge everyone on so everyone will be will be resurrected on this new Earth. The prophet SAW Sam describes it that is a flat, plain level Earth.

It has no trees, and it has no mountains and it's white in color. And Allah Subhana Allah is going to gather there, everyone that was ever created by him, of all the nations any human being that ever lived, will be resurrected, and they will all be standing there naked. And the sun then will be brought down one mile away from people's heads. People will be standing in that situation for 50,000 years. And there'll be no talking and no joking and no side conversations. 50,000 years, people standing and the sun is so close to them. And all of humanity is standing there. And there'll be people who will get so tired of waiting that they'll want the judgment to begin whether they go to

Paradise or the hellfire.
