Episode Notes
There have been different opinions about whether the ‘Bismillah’ at the beginning of Surah Al Fatiha is part of the Surah or not. For all other Surahs (exception for Surah Tawbah), Bismillah is mentioned prior to the first ayah of the Surah. Yet, the majority of the time it is not said in the loud salahs.
Is Surah Al Fatiha an exception to the regard? Shaykh Mohammed Mana discusses.

Should I read Bismillah out loud in the loud Salas.
The scholars have differed over whether Bismillah v Bismillah Bismillah R Rahman r Rahim is actually the first verse of Salatin Fatiha or not the difference of opinion is extensive, and both sides have their proofs established firmly in the Sunnah of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam. Both opinions are accepted and are valid. So if one is taught by their teacher to recite the best letter out loud in the beginning of the Fatiha, or when beginning a new soul, then this is acceptable, and if they are taught to recite it silently, then this is also acceptable with the exception of reciting surah to tilbyr or SOT Bara by consensus. This order does not begin with the best manner.
It does not begin with Bismillah R Rahman r Rahim nor is it preceded by it
