Today in Charlotte data, we are going to continue with our fifth class. Essential fifth, and we are going to be learning about the reed prayer. And we're going to be learning about that prayer in shallow data.

There's not too too much to it. And I think for the most part, this will probably be more of a revision for most of us because we typically, well, we don't pray that each prayer regularly, that's one thing. But also, we usually get reminded about the each prayer fairly regularly. Because it's something that we don't pray often. So when we don't do something very often, we usually have a lot of reminders as to how we're supposed to do it. So before every each prayer, whether it's allowed, or either further, we usually do remind the congregation as to how we're supposed to pray it what we're supposed to do, and we remind people of the timing of prayer when they're supposed to come,

and so on and so forth. So I'm pretty sure that most of you are familiar with a lot of what we're going to cover today. There are a few things that some of you may ask in terms of questions afterwards, but we'll get into it. And then when we're done, we'll open it up for q&a, as we typically do.

Today, though, to get right into it that reads prayers, what is the status of their each prayer? Is it something that is compulsory? Is it something that is something that is something that's an obligation? Is it optional, what is the ruling within is that so we see that according to the majority of the scholars that each prayer is some right, some Kedah as in assume that that was always done by the prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and never missed by the prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam. And according to some of the motherhood, for example, in the hanbali mother, it's something that's an obligation, right, it's actually an obligation to go out and pray there needs

prayer on the day of age.

Now, this year, we had an interesting

prayer because we didn't actually have it. But I'm humbled by the fact that our massages have reopened now. And we're going to be holding, you know, or we are holding regular daily prayers here in Ontario, at least and we are also open for Juma prayer. She said, we used to treat the ill and injured, okay, so they used her sister used to treat the ill. And those were that were injured

in the battles in those six battles that she took part in from the 12 battles that her husband also took part in. She also once said to the Prophet, sallAllahu, alayhi wasallam, or messenger of Allah, is there any harm if one of us does not have an outer garment, right clothing, or an outer cloak, that she does not go out for the prayer. So if someone does not have if a woman does not have an outer garment, because remember, at the time of this habit of the Allahu anhu, not every single one of them was wealthy enough to have clothing, right, sometimes these to share clothing, or sometimes they used to have clothing that they would wear inside of the house, right? That, of course is not

going to be covering the entire body. But they didn't have like an ad buyer or a gown, a cloak to wear on the outside that would cover their entire body. So she says that she her sister asked the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam

messenger of Allah, is there any harm if one of us does not have the outer cloak for us to not go out on the day of read? And he replied, some Allahu Allah who is sending them, her companion, her friend, should give her from her own garments to wear. And they should attend the good deeds and the supplications of the believers. So the Prophet sent along that he was sent. And basically what he's saying here is that if a woman does not have the garments, or an outer cloak, or rope or Daya to cover herself, that her friends should lend it to her, so that she can wear it and go out and take part in their each prayer and the gathering of AIDS, along with the other believers, therefore

indicating to us that women are highly encouraged to also go and attend the prayer. And I know some women who have never gone to the eighth prayer or who never go further each prayer, and this is more the older generation, you know, they feel like okay, we'll stay at home, it's not compulsory for us to go. The men should go and pray it, but no, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam encouraged the women to go as well, to the point that he said, if a woman You know, when he was asked if a woman doesn't have the outer, you know, cloak or garments to wear, he said that she should poro it or one of her friends should actually lend it to her. Right? Her friends should be looking after her and

lend her the day so that she can go out and attend to their youth prayer and the gathering with the believers.

So that shows us that women should be attending their youth prayer as well. Right. It's important for them to also attend that each prayer. That what is the timing for that each prayer, like when are we supposed to pray this prayer?

Is there a call to prayer or an announcement for the beginning of their each prayer? Generally speaking, no, during the time of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam that was not done, there was no then and there was no a call it karma for that read prayer, even our best. But the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam did not waste his

time during Ramadan, going in preparing clothing for the day of read, he would maximize all of the time of Ramadan and when mama bond ended Hoss beginning your tech a lot, you know praise Allah Subhana Allah and be thankful for what we have the moon is seen and the next morning you go you know for the age prayer wearing your best clothing that you already have. The last time I bought new clothing for eight was when I was a kid and my parents were buying clothes for us right and they took that opportunity to buy clothes for us on their eat. For their celebrations for us as Muslims we got multiple different kinds of gifts and from the gifts that we got was clothing.

So even our bus or the Levant home, I said the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam used to wear a green cloak on the day of eat right green was one of his favorite colors. So he used to wear a green coat. Do we have to wear green? No. Okay, we do not have to wear green.

And on the day of eagle feather, it's the day of the day of feast, the day of breaking one's fast the day to eat. And so the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam would eat something. And this is why people say, Oh, is this similar to eat something sweet, because dates are sweet. So the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam would eat some dates, right? And so we see here that

you know, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam would not leave to go to that prayer in the morning, until he had eaten something to show others as well. We do not fast on the day for bead it is not permissible for us to fast on the day of eat. Number four, delaying eating on the day of either other until a person can eat from the animal that they sacrificed. Now for those of you that are on here. We'll open up q&a shortly in short, a lot of time, I'll reactivate the comments for that. And if our troll friends are there, just ignore them please. Okay.

So on the day of me the other half, it's important for us to if we are going to be sacrificing the animal or we are going to be receiving some of the meat that we are sacrificing. We should try to not eat in the morning until we sacrifice the animal and then take from the meat that we

You know, that we get from sacrificing the animal and each from that, okay? Now, a person might say, well, in 2020, we give our money to an organization and they do the sacrificing somewhere else, or because of the restrictions that we have in our countries where it doesn't allow the Muslims to go to the farm and to sacrifice their own animal. You know, we send our money or we give our money to an organization and they do the sacrifice themselves.

That's fine. You know, that's, that's permissible. And it is not mandatory, it's not an obligation for us to not eat anything until we receive that meat and to try and have that meat to ourselves. You know, if a person wants to give away all of that meat as a southern car, they can do that as well.
