I was with my mother in hajj a couple of years ago.

And they were

digging areas for construction. As you know, right now, there's a lot of construction going on.

Oh,

we came a little bit late to the masjid and a little bit late. I mean, an hour and a half an hour and a half before the hook but but when it's right before hatch, if you get there if you go there less than two hours, you're not gonna go in the masjid. So we were outside, right outside the masjid close to the construction area. And all of a sudden, we saw people trying to jump over the fences, jump over the barriers. Why? Because they were looking for a shade. Because on the other side, they saw that there was shade. And so there are some people hopping over. And then the police started to come to try to prevent them. And there was total chaos. In fact, I was so afraid. I told my mother I

said let's move. Let's try to get away from this place. For I fear a stampede might occur. There was so much chaos. And then you start to wonder this how the Muslims are again. Why can't we just obey that sign that says danger.

gotta change make the conviction to never return to it again. You have to make the intention of the conviction to make a permanent change, not a temporary change. Make a permanent change in your life for the best. And the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, whenever he prohibited something that companions never wanted to touch it again, never wanted to come close to it ever. Once the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam saw a ring, a gold ring on the hand of the finger of a companion.

Right, a pious woman from amongst us will probably say, oh, man, I really I do I have to give the cut on this goal that I'm wearing. Right? And so yes, you do if the mom says Yes, you do. What do you think a pious woman or man says would say would do? This is a very thick bracelet of God. The pious when's a man cuz monsters will say, oh man, how much do I have to give it? Right and she would give this a cut from that goal. But listen, what what happened during the time of the Prophet so listen to what happened

during the time of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam. Immediately upon hearing these words from the Prophet salallahu alayhi wasallam the woman took off the bracelets, both of them and she said, these two are for a law him His Messenger.

These two are for Allah and His messenger. And this is how the woman during the time of the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, what worm and how they responded to Allah and His messenger. Not only that, even some of the things that the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam did not prohibit they wanted to be so much like the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam that they wanted to do and like whatever the Messenger of Allah sallallahu Sallam loved also, whenever the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam had a ring made for him, all of the men in Medina they asked for a ring to be made for them also they had a ring made for them also. And so he asked the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, he said a haram and who is it? How long? And so there was a specific reason why the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam did not eat that.

And so he said, I dislike it. I don't want to eat it. I bought I bought the Allahu anhu at that moment. He said, well by Allah, O Messenger of Allah, I dislike it also Subhan Allah immediately. Do you think he disliked the food that moment? Just a few moments before that?

I mean, if you have a guest, like the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam would you give him anything except for your favorite? Would you give them anything except for something you loved? Something that was the best thing that you had. You would not give someone of that status anything except for the best or your favorite, his favorite after the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, I dislike

it, I dislike it.

That's how the companions of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam were. And sometimes when we hear there are things that are prohibited for us. We hear that there are things that are prohibited for us. We are sometimes saddened by it. We say you know what if only Allah would allow it but we we wish like the Jews.

Also right, we'd be this. We would be that I wish that was not how long? It'd be really nice I wouldn't it what we don't realize is a loss of hanworth. Allah created us. He knows what's best for us. Whatever has been prohibited is harmful to us and it's not good for us. Ally.

Does he not know whom he has created? and easy also to all aware? Does he not know what's best for us? Whenever Allah and His Messenger prohibit It is not good for us and we should abstain from it. Most of us when we went when we say inshallah I will I will be better after I make Hajj inshallah after I graduate inshallah after I inshallah after after I finished school, inshallah, after I get married, inshallah, after I get, I'm 40 years old and so forth. inshallah, inshallah. It's never in short right now.

And that's the difference. We're always procrastinating. We're always saying, inshallah, tomorrow, when is tomorrow coming in, you have tomorrow coming for you.

Are you promised to see the sunrise again tomorrow?

There are people who are younger than us who have passed away, and people who are more healthy than us who have passed away who are not sick. What makes you think you're not the next person? And who has promised you that to say that inshallah after I'm 40 after I get married, after I finished school, and so the time is right now. The only time you have is right now, the only time you have promise for you is the present. And so make that intention right now in that conviction to change for the best. Apolo county hada. that's how we are.

But that has to change.

And there has to change now,

Because you know what's best for me. But there are many amongst us, we want to do something. And so we start asking this shift in that, shall we say, is this home? Or is it

But you know, it's wrong. You yourself deep down inside, you know, you shouldn't be doing it. But you're going to a shopping. But this is not shopping.

You're not going to the mall here. And we're like this color like that color. This is your dean.

This is your

goodness in this life, your success in this life in the air after dependent upon that. And then you wonder. Now hopefully Allah subhanho wa Taala will allow us to cross the Seahawks, just like a flash.

Just like lightning. But you know why people go slow?

It's not because they are good. They have good acrobatic skills. It's not because they weren't for the surface so they can cross the slot. No, it's because of their deeds.

It's because they're clicking responding to Allah and His Messenger, just like a flash. When they hear a messenger tell them to do something. They do it right away.
