When I was

00:00:06--> 00:00:07

a young man in

00:00:08--> 00:00:09

my in

00:00:11--> 00:00:13

my youth inside I had Yella

00:00:14--> 00:00:18

ashwagandha ilaha illallah wa sharika wash How do I know

00:00:25--> 00:00:25

when I go to

00:00:27--> 00:00:27

the moon?

00:00:28--> 00:00:28

Yeah

00:00:37--> 00:00:38

What with

00:00:40--> 00:00:40

me he was

00:00:41--> 00:00:44

in Nova Kannada Cooperativa

00:00:45--> 00:00:49

de Namur, otaku, Dida useless,

00:00:56--> 00:00:57

my bank.

00:00:59--> 00:01:02

For those of you expecting to

00:01:03--> 00:01:11

learn a little bit of Taekwondo and you're in the wrong place, maybe it might be more appropriate when you see see my face coming up here,

00:01:12--> 00:01:23

coming from Southeast Asia or something like that, but that's the name of Islam and Allah Subhana, Allah has sent

00:01:24--> 00:01:44

the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam as a mercy to all of mankind. And we have a very important topic to speak about today. And it's about the youth taken, taken advantage of your youth, before old age, and this is something that the prophets of Allah Allah,

00:01:46--> 00:01:52

Allah does not take this to do so. And this is a very important topic also, because for all the elders

00:01:54--> 00:01:55

who are

00:01:56--> 00:02:02

on the youngsters and all the elders, it's very important because old people don't interpret this.

00:02:03--> 00:02:08

Old people. They don't interpret this. So

00:02:09--> 00:02:26

for those who are older, they might feel a little bit sad. But having to let the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, one day he was approached by a woman, an old woman, and he asked the messenger of us of

00:02:29--> 00:02:33

all messenger of Allah supplicate to Allah that I'll be there a lot of work to be done.

00:02:34--> 00:02:39

And so the prophet SAW robotics and turned to her and said, old people don't interpret this.

00:02:41--> 00:02:48

And so she cried. She turned around and cried, tears were in her eyes. And then the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam

00:02:49--> 00:02:55

called her back and said to her, Did you not hear the loss of Hannah

00:02:56--> 00:02:58

says in the Quran

00:02:59--> 00:03:00

baggot know the delay

00:03:02--> 00:03:03

in

00:03:04--> 00:03:05

Sha

00:03:08--> 00:03:08

Sha,

00:03:12--> 00:03:14

by Johanna

00:03:16--> 00:03:23

Oban at Rob lots of panels as a sort of worker, indeed, we

00:03:24--> 00:03:27

raise them up, and we made them

00:03:29--> 00:03:58

last time I made them, young again, virgins, and of the same age, and others those who enter Paradise are all all the old people have done that when you go into nature paradise, you'll be young again, will make all those who enter Paradise young again. And this is one of the the moments that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam had in terms of the holla jokes, that maybe

00:04:00--> 00:04:26

you know, that the prophets of Allah is until this and then the story. And as for the youth, who are the youth, this is a very important topic to take advantage of the age in which we have strength, because the youth, this is an age This is a time between two weaknesses as Allah Subhana Allah says in the room, and then the above let the color acumen locked in

00:04:28--> 00:04:43

a loss of power that it is even created from weakness in the beginning, start weak. And then after that weakness, he gained strength, gain strength, and after that strength,

00:04:44--> 00:05:00

and then after that the majority members who were gym dogs were shaved, but after that, he after the strength became weak, you have weakness, a stage of weakness, and then you have your grades that come and so this is a stage of

00:05:00--> 00:05:11

Strength and stage in which a person is full of energy. And when we speak about the human, it's not like teenagers or anything like that this the teenage years only, no, in Islam.

00:05:12--> 00:05:22

If even if you're 40, you're still considered instance. In fact, you are in the prime stage of your youth, even in your 40s

00:05:23--> 00:05:48

when you're 40, and that's why the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam revelation was revealed to him, when this is a stage in which you're, the strength of your body also is at pretty much close or at its peak. And also mentally, you're very strong. And so when you look, during the during the time as a messenger of Allah sallallahu, alayhi wa sallam, all the people who carry the message,

00:05:49--> 00:05:55

and the ones who were responsible in conveying this message.

00:05:57--> 00:06:06

They were the youth amongst the youth that the Prophet sallallahu Sallam even put in charge of the army of which

00:06:08--> 00:06:10

they were under. And this was

00:06:12--> 00:06:12

not the law.

00:06:14--> 00:06:18

And so this is a prime age, and it's also

00:06:21--> 00:06:29

an age in which also kind of what I was specifically asked us about, it will ask us from the time when we're young,

00:06:30--> 00:06:55

until the time or the time when we reach the age of puberty, until the time that we die. But specifically, there will be a specific question about the youth the age in which you will have you know, when you're in full strength and strong, that's why the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, he said, he led us by the Manhattan, Yeoman Tiana

00:06:57--> 00:07:53

had to use Allah and Allah, and another narration comes the prophets Allah amongst those who said, firstly is an anomaly FEMA man, his age, how we used up his age and other how he lived, his and then specifically when Shabaab he FEMA, and about his youth, how he spent it. So there's a specific question specifically concerning the age in which a person is to you. And also, of course, this is the age in which a person is full of energy. At the same time, it's also an age in which there are a lot of trials and tribulations and difficulties that he has to that youth, the person was young has to conquer, and concerning his desires, and also, there are many things that are, that are tests for

00:07:53--> 00:08:31

him, especially living in such a society that we're living in, in the West, and that's why they're also the greater the reward. The reward is also great. And that's why the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said there'll be seven people, seven people sent back to New Lumumba, Thailand Lily Archie, there'll be seven people, seven types, seven groups of people, seven types of people in which Allah subhanaw taala will shade them will shade them on the day judgment under his throne, on the day in which there is no shade except a shade except for this shade of Allah.

00:08:33--> 00:08:42

And the man who is just and right after that immediately, the Prophet sallallahu wasallam said shabu Nasha as

00:08:44--> 00:09:09

they use that rose up, worshipping or in obedience of Allah subhanho wa Taala and the obedience of Apostle Hamlet. We know how important we know how important strong leadership and righteous and good leadership and justice adjust ruler is. Because this benefits the old man when you have a leader

00:09:10--> 00:09:12

in the community in the community where you have a leader

00:09:14--> 00:09:34

that is just that applies the rule of Apostle handler on the land right afterwards showing the importance also, after a just leader, the prophets of aloha a Muslim says sharpen Nasha feedback heart and that's why we have to

00:09:35--> 00:09:36

take care

00:09:38--> 00:09:59

of the youth. We have to take care of the young people. We have to put them also in areas where they can carry on the torch because they are the future of this old man. The youth and they are the ones who will carry this message.

00:10:00--> 00:10:14

From this generation to the next generation, and so that's why it's very important for us. And the Messenger of Allah sallallahu taala specifically ordered us to take care of

00:10:17--> 00:10:31

upbringing and teaching and teaching the youth and being kind to them and making sure that we give them their time. And we give them their rights. The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam he said, will seek permission

00:10:33--> 00:10:33

for it now.

00:10:36--> 00:10:42

He said I advise you and I advise you to treat

00:10:43--> 00:10:50

the use the Shabaab, the youth, kindly and in goodness, because they are.

00:10:52--> 00:10:59

They are the soft, they're the ones with soft soft hearts. And indeed, the professor said Allah

00:11:02--> 00:11:13

Allah subhanho wa Taala sent me with this peer tell me this religion appear to have heat in easiness this period of heat, and have you had to somehow

00:11:15--> 00:11:21

for HANA finish above, in the US they were the ones that allied with me they accepted the message will holla finish you.

00:11:22--> 00:11:27

But the elders they were the ones who

00:11:28--> 00:12:17

objected or did not accept the message. And so the process of allowing was supported is to take care of the youth take care of the youth carefully. And he also advised the youth to make to help them stay away from stay away from citizens so that they can be closer to a lots of panamericana in worship Allah subhanho wa Taala correctly and avoid the different types of Phaeton and he said, Yeah, Masha, Masha, Masha, Shiva, oh, youth, Minister, Minister, hot, I mean, come and bath and get dessert, which whoever is able to get married and let him do so. So the process of the guy that the youth so that they can be upright,

00:12:19--> 00:13:09

so that they can be upright. And so this is the responsibility of all those who have people who are young people in their authority and their authority. And this includes parents, fathers and mothers. And it also includes community members, that you also provide appropriate and proper activities for them. Also, when you look at the community in general, you see that the majority, the majority of our community, they are the youth. So when it when you look at the activities in the mustard, though, we see that the majority of them are set massages, have activities geared towards elders,

00:13:11--> 00:13:12

or people who are older.

00:13:13--> 00:13:43

But no, but you have to realize that if the majority of the community, they are the youth, you should give them their rights also and provide activities and provide programs that are geared towards the youth and also geared towards the woman and geared towards the sisters, the young sisters looking at the future mothers also. And we have to be fair in that also, and not have all our activities directed towards only the elements

00:13:45--> 00:13:53

are directed towards those who are over 40. Because when you look at the activities and many massages, I don't know I'm pretty sure

00:13:54--> 00:14:38

I hear a lot about this message. But in many massages many areas, you have just activities directed towards only the towards only the elders. And But no, but the majority of the people in the community are young. And so we have to take that responsibility as parents and as community members and as leaders of the community also, because this is a responsibility upon all who are in position of authority. And that's why the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam warned us and he gave a grievious warning. He said for those who do not take care of their responsibilities when they're putting those positions including parents mabin abdomen yesterday.

00:14:39--> 00:14:52

There is not a single servant whom Allah subhanho wa Taala has given authority over a group or people except we have moved to Yamamoto gushingly ra et de La Habra Mala.

00:14:54--> 00:14:59

And if he's given that authority, and he dies on the day that he dies, and he

00:15:00--> 00:15:00

is

00:15:02--> 00:15:15

large and mini doesn't take care of responsibilities and so forth, not giving them the rights towards the people who is responsible for including the leaders and so forth of the Muslims in the harbor on Long Island,

00:15:16--> 00:15:31

except that alone will make haram haram for him as gentlemen, a paradise. And when you look at how the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam treated the youth,

00:15:32--> 00:15:47

he treated them with kindness, use wisdom, and he realized the position that they were in. And that's why a companion, a sharp, a young man, came to the Messenger of Allah sallallahu wasallam.

00:15:49--> 00:15:53

Now, just like with any, anyone who is young and

00:15:54--> 00:16:24

living in society, you know, living in a society, where of course, there's going to be trials and tribulations and you have this, you have natural desires. So this companion comes to the messenger of of us of the law and if someone listened to this question, and imagine if somebody asked the Imam this, what do you think the man would answer? But listen to what he asked? He said, Yeah, oh, messenger, he spoke to the Prophet, the Prophet sallallahu. Musa is literally the Xena jasola law.

00:16:27--> 00:16:30

He said, allow me to commit fornication.

00:16:32--> 00:16:32

Allow me to

00:16:34--> 00:16:55

allow me to come in sooner. What do you think would happen if a man a young boy or a young man comes to the man asking this question? What do you think he would be? You might be scolded, we might be scolded, maybe some people's who's supposed to a child whose child is asking this question, right, some of my time to listen to what the prophet says.

00:16:56--> 00:17:06

In his wisdom, what did he say? And this, you know, this is these are lessons that we can learn of how the youth how they think, how

00:17:12--> 00:17:24

would you like something like that? And would you be pleased with that for your mother? Would you want that for your mother? And so of course, he said, No. So would you want that for your, your system?

00:17:26--> 00:17:29

Of course, he said, No. And again, you can see how about your ads

00:17:30--> 00:17:40

for your birth father's, what the holidays are from your mother's side. And so the prophets, of course, this, this companion,

00:17:41--> 00:18:17

now we understand, because a lot of the youth every time you tell them something, now, you They always want to know sometimes they want to know the reasons behind it, and you have to use wisdom also, in speaking to them. And so after that, course, he said, After that he mentioned to the man to the young man, he said, when you do commit fornication, all you're doing is either committing fornication with somebody else's mother, or somebody else's sister, somebody else's daughter, on and so forth. And so after that, he said, O Messenger,

00:18:20--> 00:18:25

make a lot of supplicate for me on messenger. And so the prophets of Allah,

00:18:26--> 00:18:26

Allah.

00:18:30--> 00:18:44

So he made to Africa, he said, Allah preserve, men keep presenting from chest, making Chase, and purify his heart and forgiveness. And so that that young man,

00:18:45--> 00:18:58

after hearing the way that the prophets of God spoke to him, he said, I left from the messenger philosophy, when I left, and there wasn't a single person when they saw that

00:19:02--> 00:19:10

it was not as there was not a single person on the face of this earth, that was more big enough to meet in the Messenger of Allah.

00:19:13--> 00:19:30

You see how they treat you with kindness, kindness, with wisdom, with understanding, understanding their situation also. And so he took care of them and also he tried to remind them also to do good.

00:19:31--> 00:19:33

The men, the men and

00:19:35--> 00:19:38

the Messenger of Allah sallallahu sallam, he said and howdy

00:19:42--> 00:19:43

Allah give

00:19:45--> 00:19:52

Baraka give blessings to the early part of the day for my old man. And

00:19:53--> 00:19:53

he said,

00:19:55--> 00:19:59

he said the Baraka blessing in time and everything that you

00:20:00--> 00:20:06

Isn't the beginning of the day. And so you saw the Prophet, the prophet SAW the lights. And one day, he walked by his daughter.

00:20:08--> 00:20:17

And then, of course, he was very, very young. Those days, and caring for wanting goodness for him. He said, Yes.

00:20:20--> 00:20:22

similar view, your customer.

00:20:25--> 00:20:31

He said, adopting the standard means lit up in this time, because he saw

00:20:32--> 00:20:45

after budget, and he saw that he was sleeping. So he went to remind a set of argument, this is the time went to loss of hammock Island, puts Baraka and gives provisions is very important in your time,

00:20:46--> 00:21:05

during this time, don't sleep during this time. So, during the time of the messenger of a muscle, he was concerned for the youngsters amongst the amongst the young ladies, and also the young men. And also

00:21:07--> 00:21:07

when

00:21:09--> 00:21:11

the youth are strong,

00:21:12--> 00:21:17

when the youth are strong, the enemies of Islam cannot attack this man

00:21:19--> 00:21:26

in attendance in Spain, and the Muslims were in control of Spain,

00:21:27--> 00:22:03

the Christians, when they, they they would send spies just to see the condition of the Muslims. So one of the occasions they sent a spy, to check the condition of the youth to check the condition of the Muslims and specifically with us. And so he went, and he passed by a Muslim youth in a valley. And he was shooting, he was crying. He was crying. And so this question as to why are you crying?

00:22:04--> 00:22:06

Why are you crying?

00:22:08--> 00:22:15

And so he said, I shot 20 arrows, and I missed twice.

00:22:16--> 00:22:18

But he was practicing archery.

00:22:19--> 00:22:21

He said, I missed twice, and he was crying.

00:22:22--> 00:22:25

So he went back to the people.

00:22:26--> 00:22:29

He said, you'll never be able to conquer them

00:22:32--> 00:22:35

twice, and he was crying. And so later on,

00:22:38--> 00:22:47

they sent again to check the condition of the Muslims. And then another person came, you found somebody, a youth, a young man who was crying.

00:22:49--> 00:22:50

And we asked him,

00:22:51--> 00:23:01

he said, Why don't you cry? So he was crying profusely. And he said, I'm crying because I just lost my girlfriend

00:23:03--> 00:23:03

has a lot.

00:23:04--> 00:23:07

And that's why he was crying. He went back.

00:23:10--> 00:23:42

Because he knew the condition of the youth. And so that's why it's very important to the strength of the movement is in the youth. And during an Of course, there are many trials and tribulations that come sometimes it's the duty and the wealth, woman and the society in general and desires and so forth. And that's why during time Oh my God, the Lord, he understood this a month ago.

00:23:44--> 00:23:58

He's in he was in Medina. And wealth was being sent from all over the frontier, Muslim frontier. wealth was coming in left and right from all over. And then when he was coming in,

00:23:59--> 00:24:01

he was crying. And

00:24:03--> 00:24:04

he was there.

00:24:06--> 00:24:16

And he said, Why are you crying? This is good news. Nice. We're getting ready. Well, you're getting up this one that's coming to the dinner, because of the victories of instance.

00:24:17--> 00:24:20

And so he said, why he cries?

00:24:26--> 00:24:37

Because I fear that the Muslims will be tested by this by this wealth, and that's why he was crying. And so how do we ourselves take advantage

00:24:38--> 00:24:43

of this use, use this age and take it in

00:24:44--> 00:24:54

knowing the importance of knowing the importance of this stage. First of all, we have to realize we have to

00:24:56--> 00:24:57

teach our youth and

00:24:58--> 00:24:59

our youth

00:25:00--> 00:25:03

You have to learn and realize the purpose of your creation.

00:25:05--> 00:25:14

That's the first thing to strengthen the terrain, realizing your objective in you being here on this earth.

00:25:16--> 00:25:20

Because in this society nowadays, you have

00:25:21--> 00:25:40

different types of people, different types of youth amongst the Muslims, you have some, most people don't know the objective of life. You know, you know, in England and not everybody likes football. Everybody likes football. Think of a football game right now. You have the two goals, the goals

00:25:42--> 00:25:45

on the left, and on the right, one side and the other.

00:25:46--> 00:25:52

The objective courses the score to kick the ball into these, this this goal?

00:25:54--> 00:25:57

If we were to take out the goalpost

00:25:58--> 00:26:03

and toss the side and you told this, the two teams to play, what would happen?

00:26:04--> 00:26:06

Would they be able to play

00:26:07--> 00:26:23

they wouldn't be able to play, all they would do was run around, run around passing the ball to each other. Nobody would achieve anything, nobody could win. Because there's no objective. You've taken the goals away. Already. All they would do is just running around. A lot of our youth are running around like

00:26:25--> 00:26:27

they have no goals, they don't know why.

00:26:29--> 00:26:34

We have to realize that Allah subhanho wa Taala created this fourth worship

00:26:35--> 00:26:38

yet, Allah Subhana Morocco says we have to

00:26:39--> 00:26:44

learn to do I have not created the jinn and mankind except for my worship.

00:26:46--> 00:26:48

And so but in this society, you have a lot of people

00:26:51--> 00:26:57

there all their life. It's either because they're, they're concerned about sports,

00:26:58--> 00:27:11

about sports, or football or cricket, or whatever it is. And there's a major game coming up. That's all they're thinking about. And you ask them questions about these players, they know everything about you.

00:27:13--> 00:27:17

They give you an example. That's just giving the example. I want to know

00:27:19--> 00:27:21

who's heard of David Beckham I

00:27:22--> 00:27:23

think most of us know.

00:27:24--> 00:27:29

You know what kind of shoes he wears, but what brand what brand is he wearing?

00:27:32--> 00:27:33

What kind of drink soft drink

00:27:36--> 00:27:39

Pepsi? What kind of shaver does he use?

00:27:41--> 00:27:42

Gillette

00:27:43--> 00:27:44

what kind of phone is a

00:27:46--> 00:27:47

mobile phone company?

00:27:51--> 00:28:01

Vodafone Mashallah. Okay, what kind of sunglasses does police police I want you to get them see if you can get this what kind of underwear does

00:28:03--> 00:28:04

know as

00:28:10--> 00:28:11

I'm sure somebody

00:28:14--> 00:28:15

maybe there's something new

00:28:22--> 00:28:24

in America they would know that

00:28:26--> 00:28:32

you see that? Even though a kind of shoes a country How did you get this? How did you know this?

00:28:34--> 00:28:34

secret?

00:28:38--> 00:28:43

Maybe Maybe he doesn't maybe he likes it. Maybe he gets paid to say that though. He gets paid.

00:28:44--> 00:28:50

All these companies they pay them big buttons. Why? Because people like them. People like them, they want to be like

00:28:51--> 00:28:52

everybody wants to

00:28:56--> 00:28:57

everybody wants to be like

00:28:59--> 00:29:08

that and they know that. And you see that you when you ask them these kinds of questions, Mashallah. It's like, the brand new shoes they wear.

00:29:12--> 00:29:22

Why? Because of all the adverts all over everywhere, they're paying the sports stars and movie stars, millions and millions,

00:29:23--> 00:29:26

millions. And this is what I use now.

00:29:28--> 00:29:31

But when you ask him what the companion, the companions of the Prophet

00:29:33--> 00:29:44

who was sent before the hedgerow to Medina, to teach the Muslims to make dogs. Whose house did he stay?

00:29:46--> 00:29:50

And who, how did he make that law? Do you know any stories about

00:29:51--> 00:29:59

many of our youth they don't know. But they can name you all the starters for Manchester United very quickly.

00:30:00--> 00:30:02

Without even hesitating.

00:30:04--> 00:30:04

And so a

00:30:06--> 00:30:12

lot of our youth, they don't know the objective in life. And you know, when you're when you're young,

00:30:13--> 00:30:13

when you're

00:30:15--> 00:30:18

a little kid, what's he concerned about?

00:30:20--> 00:30:22

Man, his whole life revolves around that.

00:30:23--> 00:30:31

Usually, it just revolves around the thing that he's concerned about, just sometimes just a toy, a type of toy that his neighbor has.

00:30:32--> 00:30:40

Like, he's really concerned about that. And if you take that away, he'll cry as his father just passed away. Maybe his father would cry that much.

00:30:42--> 00:30:49

But if he loses that toy, if somebody takes that piece of toy away from him, he'll cry and cry, as if the world is about to end.

00:30:50--> 00:30:54

Because that's how he's concerned. That's what he's thinking. That's it.

00:30:55--> 00:31:05

And then you go, you know, you grow up, and you go past that stage. in this society, though, they don't want you to grow.

00:31:07--> 00:31:11

They want you to remain thinking that as the youth, you're still a child,

00:31:13--> 00:31:28

you're still a child, they have a slogan in America, Toys R Us, they said, I want to be a Toys R Us kid, I don't want to grow up like that. You guys have a wonderful. And so the youth at 13, and 14.

00:31:29--> 00:31:32

Our youth, they're playing video games

00:31:34--> 00:31:34

they're playing.

00:31:36--> 00:31:40

They're worried about the latest games that are coming out

00:31:42--> 00:31:45

later shows and movies and things like that.

00:31:46--> 00:31:47

We live in a time of the Prophet so

00:31:49--> 00:31:51

it can be companions of the Prophet. So

00:31:52--> 00:31:57

they already had the hum the concern of this woman in their hearts and in their actions.

00:31:59--> 00:32:24

They were thinking about how to raise that Elijah, Muhammad Rasulullah. So that our youth, how do we get past that stage, you have to teach them from the beginning, and put this concern in the hearts to concern about increasing the faith, concern about the obedience of the loss of power, in the love of the loss of power and the fear of a loss of power.

00:32:25--> 00:32:58

Teach them how to keep how to stay away from sins, and provide Islamic knowledge, provide chances and put them in areas where they can seek knowledge. Because a lot of us, sometimes we don't realize, when we tell our children that we send them to public school, we send them to the schools that don't teach Islam that teach school for six or eight hours a day. And then you send your children to adjust on Sundays to like, send Sunday to the Islamic classes on Sunday.

00:33:00--> 00:33:17

While they've been in school, and being taught for things like that, for hours, and hours and hours and hours, and you get like, you come back that with two hours on the weekends. And that's not enough, and then you expect your children to be good. You know what that is like? That's like throwing your child

00:33:18--> 00:33:26

throwing your son or daughter into a river or an ocean and telling them don't get wet.

00:33:27--> 00:33:32

I mean, it's impossible. You just throw them into the water and said don't tell them not to get wet.

00:33:33--> 00:33:40

That's not, that's not possible. And so that's why as Muslims, we should put that sense of responsibility

00:33:41--> 00:33:53

in them and make them love this Deen and love the worship of a boss and make them realize the reason that Allah Subhana that created and

00:33:55--> 00:33:57

this is how

00:33:58--> 00:34:18

the companions were the companions, what were they concerned about? Look at the concerns of the companions, the concerns of the companions, and you realize what they had in their hearts, the Messenger of Allah, Allah, Allah spoke to the companions, and he mentioned about the job,

00:34:19--> 00:34:29

the Antichrist, he's speaking about many events. When that job comes. In, then he mentions

00:34:30--> 00:34:41

about how many days he will stay on earth. And he tells the companions he said he will stay he will be on earth for 40 days.

00:34:42--> 00:34:58

One yogasana one day, like a year, and one day like a month, one day like a Juma a week and the other days the remaining days will be like the day, the days that you have like the normal days.

00:35:00--> 00:35:01

About the job

00:35:02--> 00:35:11

and the trials and tribulations of the job. But you know what's going on in the heads of the minds of the companions? What are they concerned about?

00:35:13--> 00:35:16

They're concerned about the prayer.

00:35:18--> 00:35:23

They're worried about their prayers. And they're saying, they tell the Prophet they asked the messenger

00:35:25--> 00:35:34

or messenger of Allah, on that day, that is like a year, is that enough for us to pray and do a day's worth of prayer.

00:35:36--> 00:35:38

And so the proper sort of response, he says,

00:35:40--> 00:35:58

he said, calculate the appropriate calculations. It's not enough for you to pray that one day, when the day when the year is like, when the day is like a year. But you see from this hike, etc, the concern of the companions, they knew that Allah Subhana Allah created them for the for the worship of

00:36:00--> 00:36:13

the youth and the elders, they all have this instilled in them, the worship of Allah subhanho wa Taala, that everything that they did, was to please Allah subhanho wa Taala, one of the most important aspects of worship are the prayers.

00:36:14--> 00:36:16

And Allah Subhana Allah

00:36:17--> 00:36:19

when he invited his messenger,

00:36:21--> 00:36:24

when he invited his messenger to

00:36:25--> 00:36:38

the Islamic Lodge, the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was given the obligation of prayer, personally, and the loss of Hamlet Nana

00:36:39--> 00:36:43

ordered the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam to return.

00:36:45--> 00:36:48

An order the people to pray, how many prayers

00:36:50--> 00:36:53

50 prayers in a day and night

00:36:54--> 00:37:02

50 prayers in the day and night of May Allah have mercy upon Prophet Musa is

00:37:03--> 00:37:04

when he will pass probably most

00:37:06--> 00:37:29

people not being able to endure it or not be able to take it take it take this obligation. When his people they have less than that they were still in any 50 prayers, go back to the Lord and asked him to decrease it. And he kept on going back and forth about Captain decreasing it 4540 until finally there are only applied traders,

00:37:30--> 00:37:33

only five trades but if you perfect them, the profits,

00:37:35--> 00:37:56

if we perfect them along, will give us the equivalent of 50 trades. But you know, why? Would Allah subhanho wa Taala tell the prophets to go back and forth on these times? When he knew that? He knew from the beginning that eventually he will only be vibrators.

00:37:57--> 00:38:13

Why did he just give him five sprayers from the beginning instead of vacuum? make him go back and forth? Do you have to realize everything that he does has wisdom. There's wisdom and there are lessons for us to learn. Why they can go back and forth

00:38:14--> 00:38:21

is to let us realize that the objective of our creation is to worship Allah.

00:38:22--> 00:38:45

Meaning we should be praying 50 prayers, but because of the mercy of Allah is also to show us the mercy of us. We should be praying because why? Because Allah you know, everything that we have, like for example, they asked you, what is this? What is the chair for this used to sit? Sit on? Well, what's the spoon for? It's used to eat? But what are you for?

00:38:47--> 00:38:48

What were you created for?

00:38:50--> 00:38:50

A lot of people

00:38:52--> 00:38:55

they don't know. It, they do know the answer. They don't they think

00:38:57--> 00:38:59

they know the answer. They still don't.

00:39:00--> 00:39:13

But a lot of how creative we should be playing 50 prayers at a day and night. But if we were to do so, would you have any time to go work, go work and so forth? How many times will be betraying in

00:39:16--> 00:39:17

in an hour?

00:39:20--> 00:39:24

How many minutes would would you have for the next credit? We have?

00:39:28--> 00:39:38

About 20 minutes right? Literally tomorrow about 20 minutes, every almost every 20 minutes, you would have to get ready for the next play. You would have to get ready for the next player.

00:39:39--> 00:39:59

But you know what, that's what we should be doing. Because a lot of committed us for that. That's what we have been trained for, to worship a loss. And worship of course isn't just in Islam. We know that it isn't just prayers only. It's everything that we do that pleases Allah.

00:40:00--> 00:40:34

So being kind to your parents, is pleasing to Allah. And so that's worship, having hope that Allah is pleasing to Allah and that's worship, fearing Allah is worship. So that because that's pleasing to Allah, everything that you do that is pleasing to Allah is worship. So as a youth, you have to ask for as parents and as us, we every step that we take, we have to ask ourselves, is this pleasing to Allah.

00:40:36--> 00:40:47

And especially when you are in the stage in which you're a youth, when you have the energy, because when you're older,

00:40:50--> 00:40:51

Shabaab can

00:40:52--> 00:41:00

take advantage of your youth before old age, because when old age comes,

00:41:01--> 00:41:07

you will no longer you will no longer have the energy and the strength,

00:41:08--> 00:41:11

you will no longer have the energy and the strength

00:41:12--> 00:41:15

to get up and go to the masjid.

00:41:17--> 00:41:25

Every time that you're you know, for the prayers, you might not have the energy and strength to fast.

00:41:26--> 00:41:29

You might not have the energy history, even to stand up and pray.

00:41:31--> 00:41:38

You might not have the energy and strength to sit down and read the Quran and learn your deen.

00:41:39--> 00:41:43

So take advantage of the time in which you're young.

00:41:44--> 00:41:53

And make sure that you take that that time to learn about your gene. Editing is very important.

00:41:54--> 00:42:02

It is very important important to find the correct people to hang around.

00:42:04--> 00:42:06

Because the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam,

00:42:07--> 00:42:10

he said Allah, Allah Dini,

00:42:12--> 00:42:19

a person will follow the ways the religion or the way of his friend, his best friend,

00:42:20--> 00:42:23

or his companion, so be careful whom you befriend.

00:42:25--> 00:42:27

And if you want to know a person,

00:42:28--> 00:42:30

that look at who he befriends.

00:42:32--> 00:42:43

You want to truly know that person, look at the people who may be friend when they hang around, because it affects that person's personality, religion, beliefs, and way of life.

00:42:45--> 00:42:52

And so you have to be careful who you befriend. And you have to be

00:42:54--> 00:42:56

those who love

00:42:57--> 00:42:58

people who are good.

00:42:59--> 00:43:05

Because the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, Well, I have a Roger, Roger told me,

00:43:08--> 00:43:16

the people, a person will not love a people, except that he be raised that way.

00:43:18--> 00:43:20

So our youth,

00:43:21--> 00:43:27

those who are concerned about these movie stars, these sports stars,

00:43:29--> 00:43:31

these musicians,

00:43:33--> 00:43:35

these so called idols,

00:43:36--> 00:43:38

who are they going to be raised? raised?

00:43:40--> 00:43:42

Who are you going to be raised up with?

00:43:44--> 00:43:48

The person will be no good amongst with those who they love.

00:43:49--> 00:43:55

And so you have to take advantage at this time, especially to seek knowledge

00:43:56--> 00:43:56

and

00:43:58--> 00:44:00

have the concern

00:44:01--> 00:44:20

in your heart. Because, you know, the people before just in their youth, amongst, amongst the generals, Muslim generals have by NASA, he was a young young man. He was just 25 years of age.

00:44:22--> 00:44:25

He was with the Muslim army.

00:44:26--> 00:44:27

And they were

00:44:29--> 00:44:33

they had conquered everything between a North Africa.

00:44:34--> 00:44:37

And so then he went and he saw the Atlantic Ocean.

00:44:38--> 00:44:59

He saw the ocean and look at his biggest concern. What's his concern? his concern was conveying the message a lot to people. And so he said, Well, I buy a low, low Alamein mat, and he said if I need Biola if I knew that there was some land

00:45:00--> 00:45:03

Behind this water, the hook Toby policy.

00:45:09--> 00:45:21

He said, If I knew that there was land behind all this water, I would, I would have gone in with my horse carrying the banner of Bobby live,

00:45:22--> 00:45:23

he would have continued

00:45:25--> 00:45:31

if he knew that there was landia past this, all this water, that's the kind of concern that they have,

00:45:32--> 00:45:40

then when you look at the concerns of the people nowadays, are concerned of the Muslim youth. Nowadays,

00:45:41--> 00:46:07

it's much different. You see, the percentage of the people who are here, compared to the people out there is much different. That means we need to do something, we need to go out there and call the youth to bring the youth who are here with us, and call them back to the semester to call them back to the seeking of about seeking of knowledge. Because there will be there will come a time

00:46:09--> 00:46:10

when you will not be able to

00:46:12--> 00:46:13

win, you will not be able to

00:46:15--> 00:46:20

see that because of old age. And maybe before that, maybe there will be

00:46:22--> 00:46:28

there will be trials and tribulations that you will not be able to go

00:46:30--> 00:46:32

the Muslims might be persecuted.

00:46:34--> 00:46:37

But, you know, when we when we read the Quran,

00:46:39--> 00:46:56

we see that Prophet Ibrahim Alayhi Salam was a young man. But he stood up he saw the wrong he saw the wrong around him. And he stood up. He said, You know what? worshipping these idols are wrong. And he went out to change it.

00:46:57--> 00:47:03

And the youth and sort of the unknown fixture to him, was it now

00:47:04--> 00:47:05

we're about

00:47:06--> 00:47:06

it.

00:47:09--> 00:47:14

And we they were a youth. And they stood up when

00:47:16--> 00:47:18

they saw people worshipping idols,

00:47:19--> 00:47:26

but they didn't stand still. They wanted to change them. And so they stood up. If

00:47:30--> 00:47:51

our Lord is not these idols that you worship, not these people that you worship, he is the one he is the one, the Sustainer, the cherisher of the heavens and the earth, the Lord of the heavens, and that is your Lord. And that is our Lord. They stood up, and they were persecuted.

00:47:52--> 00:48:12

But they stood up, they didn't stand still a lot gave us lessons. But I lost my hand on took care of them to care that even though with all the trials and tribulations, Allah subhana wa tada mentions them in their story will be read and is read and will be read until the day of judgment.

00:48:15--> 00:48:24

Because they saw things that are wrong. And they might these were youths, young people, group of young men, that went out to change.

00:48:26--> 00:48:27

And in the,

00:48:28--> 00:48:31

in the car of the Prophet sallallahu, some sort of the catalyst revealed

00:48:32--> 00:48:35

right before the hedgerows.

00:48:36--> 00:48:40

There was to let the people know that if you stand up,

00:48:41--> 00:48:50

you use if you stand up, you can change things. And that's why after 300 plus years, when they woke up,

00:48:53--> 00:48:58

they were being persecuted before when they escaped to the cave. But when they woke up

00:48:59--> 00:49:01

after 300 plus years,

00:49:02--> 00:49:06

what did they find? When they went out with their money

00:49:08--> 00:49:09

to find food?

00:49:10--> 00:49:14

What did they find? They found that the people had accepted

00:49:17--> 00:49:19

the offer the offer outside

00:49:20--> 00:49:21

changed.

00:49:23--> 00:49:42

And so this gives us hope. This gives us hope that you in times of trials and tribulations you might see a lot but you stand up maybe you maybe not you know maybe your children or your grandchildren. Maybe they'll come out

00:49:44--> 00:49:45

and when it's time to pray.

00:49:46--> 00:49:54

In the middle of Birmingham. We're not long workboat is pronounced. The greatness of a less pronounced all the shops are closed.

00:49:58--> 00:49:59

So lesson for us.

00:50:00--> 00:50:49

These are the the ones. And the last panel is telling us about PCs, and this story for us to reflect and give us hope, when it comes to the EU. And so take advantage of the time that you have as a youth to learn, and the people who are responsibility to make sure you take care of them properly, and teach them properly and have concern for them. Just because they're young, you don't just look down upon them and think they can't do anything. So sometimes it's good when they are able to take responsibility, you might want to pass the torch on the responsibilities in the massages and their activities and so forth the torch on to the youth, because they are the future. And the Messenger of

00:50:49--> 00:50:49

Allah

00:50:52--> 00:50:56

is not amongst those who do not who are not

00:50:58--> 00:51:37

merciful towards I am no respect, nor are they respectful or disrespectful, or towards or not merciful towards the elders also. So there has to be both ways. When you love the youth, the youth inshallah will respect you and love you also when you care for them. And so this is something that we should take care of. And again, as I mentioned earlier, looking at activity activities, in our communities, make sure that we're being fair and proportional, and we're giving them the rights in their place, they are the majority, then they have to have the majority of the activities

00:51:38--> 00:51:43

they have in there, the woman or have our have

00:51:45--> 00:51:54

our community than they deserve, that they deserve their time also, to learn to do so because they will be raising the next generation of children.

00:51:55--> 00:52:20

So take care of them. And this is the this is the age in which this is the age in which the youth are full of energy. At the same time, there's a lot of trials and tribulations for them, and we have to understand them and treat them the way that the Prophet somebody was treated and care for them and will and be concerned and have them also be concerned correctly about conveying this religion to religion of Allah subhanho wa Taala.

00:52:23--> 00:52:32

When he was in, he was just a boy, when he accepted Islam, when he did so he went out and decided

00:52:33--> 00:52:43

he was one of the first people to go out and publicly to recycle and he was beat, because he did so. But he had the concern for the deen he had to let the people know that,

00:52:45--> 00:52:46

that he let

00:52:47--> 00:52:49

people hear the word of us.

00:52:50--> 00:52:54

And so just from

00:52:55--> 00:52:56

from

00:52:58--> 00:53:15

as Muslims, we have to worry and take care of our family members and take care of one at a time when one person at a time. Whatever you're responsible for quit blaming the people, leaving our times that we're living a lot of times we blame the times that we're living now equals a man we're able to

00:53:16--> 00:53:21

even see what so we play the time that we're living all the time.

00:53:22--> 00:53:28

But there's nothing wrong with the time. The only thing that's wrong, but the times we were living up is us.

00:53:29--> 00:53:30

So we have to take it one step at a time

00:53:32--> 00:53:41

correcting our family, and then our communities and those who are in charge, make sure you take responsibility and teach them properly.

00:53:42--> 00:53:54

And we asked Allah subhanho wa Taala to strengthen that Muslims, the youth, the children, the woman, and all the Muslims and forgiving Muslims,

00:53:55--> 00:54:01

those who are buying from those who have passed away and we asked the last panel to accept our deeds and being sincere

00:54:03--> 00:54:03

about it.
