Break the Cycle – Porn Addiction #02 – Seeking pleasures in the wrong places

When I talk to porn addicts, I have noticed something in common. They all say that whenever we watch pornography and we end up with masturbation so that we can experience that instant pleasure, a phase of darkness and heaviness, attack them right in the heart to an extent that they feel so difficult to worship Allah subhanho wa Taala and this is the main issue with porn addiction. It causes you loneliness, depression, this is what pornography promises actually you you go to porn because you want it to experience that pleasure. But at the end, while I added Allah May Allah Subhana Allah save us all. You experienced nothing but depression, anxiety and loneliness. Allah Subhana Allah

says in the Quran that whosoever does righteous deeds, whether a male and female while they are a believer, a loss of the Hannah what Allah will grant you will give you a good life. That's the good life. The Good Life is always revolving around worshipping Allah subhanaw taala and doing righteous deeds. So when you seek pleasure in the wrong places, you experienced nothing but sadness and grief. That's why the Prophet sallallahu Sallam used to supplicate a lot in the hour who Vika Menachem me while hasn't or ally asked you protection, I asked you to protect me from grief and sadness because the prophet SAW Selim realize that once you are in, in that state, you won't function properly, you

will not be able to go to Allah Subhana Allah praying, fasting, and performing all these acts of worship while you have the right mind. And that's why my brothers and sisters in Islam, seeking instant pleasure won't last for for a long time you will never be able to experience that everlasting happiness after your demise so May Allah Subhana Allah grant us the right understanding. So what you're going to do today in sha Allah Allah you're going to make a decision you remember every episode we decided that we will execute certain actions otherwise if you don't act right after understanding

these concepts that we are discussing, you will never be able to create that positive change that we are after. So what is the decision today? The decision is write it down.
