I'd say that Islam is the only truly scientific religion and what I mean when I say that we're not talking about the conclusions of science or the technological sort of gadgetry or inventions of science, we're talking about the method how science is supposed to work, you know how research is supposed to work, you're not supposed to develop your conclusions first, and then go out and research and find your data that verifies your conclusions. That's backwards, right? You're cooking the books, okay? You're supposed to maybe have a very, very loose hypothesis, but you're supposed to conduct experiments, you're supposed to get the evidence in the data and then see where it leads.

And then after the fact, then you come up with your theory and interpretation of data, that's a slap, okay? And every other religion out there, they do the opposite, they come to conclusions. And this, you know, is the problem of modernist as well with trying to, you know, do away with some Hadith that don't meet their preconceived notions as to what should be, you know, and what shouldn't be, they've already come up with their preconceived notions, they already think they know what's true. And so they're ready to throw out or accept whatever conforms to what they already believe. That's bad research that's completely unscientific. Somebody who was approaching it scientifically

would think about what is valid evidence and what's not, how can we determine what's a, an authentic hadith and what's not. And then we have a data set. And that data set is all the authentic hadith, like them or not, and then you take them to what they mean and how they fit together and what they imply. That's how to scientifically approach faith. That's real research, not just cooking the books, that's actually putting the religion in the service of your ego and your next
