of them was an engineer, and they were talking about different sorts of companies or opportunities that are in the area to work for. And then one of them came up, Lockheed Martin, Lockheed Martin is the biggest weapons producer, maybe in the world, or that one of the biggest defense contractors, and then right away, they both dismissed it and said, Well, you don't want to do that. And I was so happy at that, because this is a the assertion that Muslims should not be getting involved in certain things that are going to compromise our ethics. Those are weapons that are going to go and kill your brothers and sisters in faith. Right. And this is not the even though they kind of
cynically call it the defense industry. This is not really defense like these companies, many of them that are making profit off of human tragedy, right, as Shaco Bradford said the other day in one of his and one of his talks, and so you have these companies that literally have a profit motive when it comes to perpetual war and the proliferation of weapons and weaponizing and arming different sorts of people. And many times I find that these weapons companies will actually supply both sides in the same conflict. They just see dollar signs, right. And so as a Muslim, am I going to take some job developing weapons and I'm just going to look the other way and say, Well, you know, I'm not
responsible for what they do or who they sell it to. And I'm just, you know, a cog in the system. No, don't be a cog in the system, right, have principles and have ethics and limit yourself, limit yourself and make decisions according to those ethics and Allah Spano Tata will never let you lose, he will always replace what you've given up with something better
