There are some things in the world that seem very scary.
When you're in the car, maybe you could get into a car accident.
When we get sick, it's possible that something bad could happen from getting sick. There's all sorts of dangerous and scary things that we deal with every day.
But Allah is Able to protect us from all of those things, all our controls everything on Earth, and everything in the heavens, everything in creation is at his command. And so if we put our trust in allotment, the one who keeps us safe, then we realize that there's nothing really to fear that everything that happens, happens because Allah willed it to happen.
A lot men also has a second meaning, which is also very important.
And that is that Allah appreciates, and recognizes what you do.
Has it ever happened to you? Where you did something good, but nobody noticed? Or nobody saw what you did?
Maybe that made you feel a little bit sad. Maybe you really had wished that someone had noticed, either. So they could have told you that you did a good job. Or maybe because you were hoping they would give you some sort of reward or something.
Well, when we go through life, we do a lot of good things that nobody sees, except Allah.
And Allah subhanaw taala He not only sees them, but he recognizes them.
And he knows that you did those things. And he's waiting for you to finish your life to come back to him so that he can give you the reward for those things that you did.
