Seerah S4 E24 – Lessons from the Opening of Makkah, Part 02

And welcome to episode number 24 of season four of our field of sera series blast from the past Syrah in the 21st century. Yesterday, brothers and sisters in Islam, we began by discussing events in relation to

Fatah Mecca, or the opening of Mecca, this pinnacle of an event from the era of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam. And

we spoke about its timing, we spoke about the reason why it happened. And then we also shared a bit of a backdrop as to why the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, he himself felt that there was no better time for this

expedition to take place. Now remember, we said that there was 10,000 people who gathered at the call of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam, and that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam kept it a massive, massive secret. It was such a big secret that the closest to him, didn't know his best friend Abu Bakar didn't know his close companion eishockey Allah and his wife, she also didn't know Subhan Allah. Now. Why did the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam do this? I'm sure that's the next

question that comes to your mind. Was it an issue of trust? Why did the Prophet salallahu alayhi wasallam not do this I mean, when it came to bother when it came to our heart, being conspicuous, being private, was the way of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam.

But we know that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam he told his closest companions, you know those in the inner circle, they knew what was going on. He kept it close because of the hypocrites. But why now? Why not? You know now that the hypocrites we can then Islam is stronger than ever. Why now? Why not tell Abubakar? Why not tell oma? Why not tell eyeshadow, the Allah and why keep this such a big secret. And the scholars of the Sierra have weighed into this particular discussion. And they have said it wasn't an issue of trust. Because let's be honest, I mean, you can't keep you know, an army of 10,000 people a secret heart for how long? Are you going to keep this a secret?

Right? You're going to do your best? Yes, but eventually it's going to get out. So why is he not telling his closest people? Well, the answer to that brothers and sisters in Islam is that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, he obviously considered this expedition so important that he didn't want it to be a test for any of his closest people.

The closest people in that this particular

event, the information is leaked with the best of intentions. Does that make sense? liquid the best of intentions? What do we mean liquid the best of intentions? Well, we know the hypocrites they would if they received information, they leak it, intending harm, right? But the Muslims might speak about it with the best of intentions, they're not intending any harm. And through this, the word will get to the wrong people.

And when he gets to the wrong people, then the you know, the idea is defeated. So the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was so careful. And let's not forget, brothers and sisters in Islam. The earlier point that we spoke about yesterday towards the end when we said how amazing with the Sahaba that they just acted. They didn't need details. The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam said Get ready. We got ready. It wasn't about what Where are we going? Why are we going How is it

To be, but did this happen? Did that happen? Was this information, nothing of the sword brothers and sisters in Islam? Right?

Of course, it's plausible that they had an idea that we getting ready to avenge the losses of Balu. Who's because of our allegiance with them, and what the what the Quraysh did, or what Boubacar did, and what the courage did as well behind everyone's backs, and so on and so forth. So you have this idea, right? But nobody knew that this plan is going meaning this This matter is going to be dealt with because remember who's asked for help. And the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, you will be helped. Nobody thought the help would be in the form of Makkah being overtaken and becoming a Muslim city in this expedition.

So testimony has to be given praise has to be given

where it's deserved, that's Harburg, Allah, Allah remain with me amazing Muslims and they were indeed the companions of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam. Now

in addition to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam keeping things a secret, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, he put other

processes into play and into place to, you know, manage the situation. So what did he do, he sent a unit of eight men to a place.

They thought they were going to deal with this matter that was at hand with Boubacar and Hosea, and so on and so forth. Or that there was people who were Allahu Allah, right, I'm reading into events, or it could be a case where they thought the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam sentencia, because there's harm that might

meet the Muslims because of this place. They didn't know what the prophet the details, and they went out. It was in the case of the Muslims were marching to Mecca, right? Remember, like the Muslims, they used to send out the intelligence officers. Also the other tribes, they had the intelligence officers in the region, they collect information, they see what's happening is their movement, what is his movement? How is this movement, and so on and so forth. So when these intelligence officers from the other side would see that Subhanallah what's

happening here is that

these eight men are going there, they wouldn't give it much importance, or they wouldn't give, they wouldn't gain the idea that these Muslims are heading to Mecca. Now, these men, they did not know that this was a diversion. And they went to this place. And when they went there, they found no enemy. Right, they were sent there, they found no enemy. And they found out the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam his instructions and when the time was right, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam sent a messenger to them, to tell them to give them the coordinates of where to go to to join the Muslim army, which was the army, the 10,000 that was heading to Mecca. So as you can see

information now became available when they were on the way but prior to that, everything was run as if nothing with regards to MCE was being intended. Okay. Now also, we you know, we said yesterday that they left on the 10th. And

some sources say that Morocco was opened on the 20th. So this was a 10 day journey. So you can imagine how quick this journey took place, in fact, less than 10 days because they can't afford a day before they entered Makkah as we will see also brothers and sisters in Islam, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam in addition to sending these eight horsemen to a particular place and keeping everything a secret, he put he he appointed intelligence officers intelligence officers, we spoke about this intelligence officers from the other side, he appointed his own intelligence officers to go out and to check the situation and to see if this calm is anyone anticipating the

Muslims coming out of Medina and so on and so forth. And not only did he do that, he placed all the intelligence officers under the lead of Omar rhodiola one. Now one of these intelligence officers was helping even to be belta.

A noble companion, and he made a mistake as we will see. So the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam sent out intelligence officers, and he put them under the need of armor, and also the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam as he always did, he made sincere dua to Allah subhanho wa Taala. And you can say severe to our meaning, he made this dua to Allah subhanho wa Taala. That he would make given the intensity of the situation, right? So he made this sincere dua to Allah subhanho wa Taala. Now we spoke about how there was a close disaster, right? And this is what happens when you are in teams, right you with the human beings, right? Some way somehow they can be some oversight, and not

oversight from the messenger, but oversight from one of the team members and we've spoken all

Of how amazing the team members were and how they always listen to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam. But I want us to understand and I share this with you. So you all understand that these were human beings, they make mistakes, they think like human beings, they feel like human beings, mistakes can happen. Okay, what happened, how they was one of the intelligence officers Under Armour. And he,

it seems he made an educated guess that you know what, I think we're going to open up Mecca.

I think this is what's going to happen. So he had this educated guess, because of the involvement of the Quraysh

in the destruction or the almost destruction of the who's at the hands of Boubacar.

So what did he do he accordingly somehow he felt that it was a good idea to send a secret message to let the corporation know that the Muslims were coming to MCC.

Okay. Now

how are they brothers and sisters in Islam, he was not a hypocrite.

No way furthers from it. He was amazing at better. He was no hypocrite. What's the next thing? You might say? Okay, did he apostate? Did he,

in some capacity? leave Islam? Is that what the situation is? No brothers and sisters in Islam. That's not what the situation is. He was a Muslim, a true Muslim.

He was an intelligence officer for the Muslims.

Right? So he's not a hypocrite. He's a true Muslim. He's an intelligence officer. So what's next? Well,

obviously, you know, by leaking this kind of information, it's tantamount to treason. This is a massive deal. Brothers and sisters in Islam. But Allah subhanho wa Taala hollyburn Allah. Allah is upon his affairs, April. And this trip was sanctioned by Allah. And Allah was monitoring it before the messenger sallallahu alayhi wasallam. And what the messenger did he was, he did because Allah told him to do it. Allah revealed to Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam revealed to him what happened? That how big has sent a lady with a secret message to the Quraysh to give them a heads up that you are planning to go to open Mecca? What is the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam do

immediately he dispatches earlier Allah and, and zubayr. And me cadet three companions, he sends them and dispatches them to find this lady, and they find her 12 miles out of Medina.

And they were very strict with her. They told the person the letter, because Allah revealed that she was carrying a secret letter, pass on the letter or be physically searched. So she had no choice. She didn't want to be physically sad. So she hand over the letter. Now in the meantime, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam someone's happy, because it doesn't need any verification, we don't need to see the letter Allah revealed that so it's happened. So how to be summoned. And remember is under the leadership of aroma, so how it comes in, and how they could not deny what happened. But he could explain it. And he said, Subhan Allah and mankind is weak brothers and sisters in Islam, he said

that all messenger of Allah.

He said, my connection to the Quraysh is not like the connection of the mohajirs I have a very weak connection with them. And I feel for my family,

that if you know, things don't go the right way, then the court and the police want to enact revenge, my family will be harmed more because I don't have that connection like the other mohajir own. Right, their families will be okay, because of tribal protection laws, and so on and so forth. So I thought that if I give them a heads up, they will return the favor by

by keeping my relative safe.

So this is what he thought. Now you can only imagine brothers and sisters in Islam, this was a contingency by him. He didn't think that even if the courage prepared that they could beat the Muslims. It's plausible, well, Allahu Allah, I'm having good thoughts about him. Right? That he must have thought even if I give them the heads up what what's wrong can happen with the wrong well, meaning the only difficulty was that we will, we will fight but even if we find we will overcome the crush, but so, you know, in the odd chance of it not working out, at least I have put this contingency in place. So you can see he's a human being. He's thinking about his family. He's he's

made a, a human decision. He didn't make sure he didn't ask anyone and this is from the dangers of not speaking to people, brothers and sisters and listener. When you make decisions without asking people of knowledge people have experience. This is what happens. So this is what happened. And Allah subhanho wa Taala salvage the situation. The letter was brought back to Medina now

he's basically telling the Prophet I'm a Muslim. I'm just saying trying to save my relatives. And obviously Omar is any winner Omar right. You can

Imagine what Omar said now the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, he, he's taught by Allah subhanho wa Taala and he announces that healthy by spoken the truth. And the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said this in the presence of the other companions. So everybody knows that how to be a Muslim. He's just made a mistake. He's made a big mistake, but he's still a Muslim.

And armor, announces and says, All messenger of Allah, give me permission to strike his neck to strike him. Give me permission to to strike him. And the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam responds to Omar by saying,

that verily healthy took part in better

and it could be that Allah subhanho wa Taala looked at the fighters that bother from the Muslims and said, Do as you wish, for I have forgiven you, do as you wish, for I have forgiven you.

Subhan Allah what wisdom from the Prophet salallahu alayhi wasallam

then brothers and sisters in Islam, it is said that Allah subhanho wa Taala revealed the opening verse of Surah Al mahina.

Right when Allah subhana wa Taala said, Don't take my enemy and your enemy as earlier. And you can go back to the opening verse of surah to Montana, and and read the verse as part of the homework of the session. Now,

despite the grave error brothers and sisters in Islam, it must be noted that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam treated hearted kindly, he was a human being, he made a mistake. Allah averted the actual treason from taking place. So treason didn't take place. treason didn't take place. treason didn't take place. It almost did, but Allah averted it. Right? So you can't lay the law of treason on how tip because Alhamdulillah Allah stopped treason from taking place. But the idea of it taking place this was his mistake, and it was a big mistake. But as the Prophet salallahu alayhi wasallam announced he was a Muslim. And it is narrated that Omar Abdullah who cried and said, Allah and His

Rasul know, best, Allah and His Russell know best as if Omar is acknowledging that Subhana Allah, no matter how intelligent we think we are, no matter how much we know, we just don't know. And he almost felt at this stage, that it's a no brainer. You know, he deserves capital punishment. And the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam says he's a Muslim, and Allah treats him kindly. And Allah says, Oh, my, what do you what do you think maybe Allah looked at the people of Burma and say, Allah has forgiven them. And obviously Omar is thinking that I was part of Buddha as well. So you know, he's also feeling humbled at the moment that he Allah, you know, don't hold me accountable for my

mistakes, and I was ready to hold the house accountable for his mistake. So it is noted that Omar cried Ravi, Allah Hi, now the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam moves things ahead, he makes his way to Mecca. And on the way to Makkah, and you can imagine 10,000 people moving swiftly. Right, we spoke about earlier when they went for the compensation, the ombre What a sight. It was for the different tribes watching this, you know, this caravan ship across the desert, moving right towards Mecca, and they were so amazed by it. So again, 10,000 Muslims going, and this time, they're not in the harem. Last time they were in a harem. So this is not a pilgrimage, to Mecca. This is going to

save Makkah from the isolators and idolatry. And on his way there he meets his uncle at best.

I best Remember we said he was a Muslim in secret, and the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam left him in Makkah stationed him there, because the parents didn't know he was a Muslim. And this way he could get important information to the Muslims. So he It was his time was up, his role was finished. There was no need for any more information. The coresh were weak, the treaties were signed, things were getting better for the Muslims, things were getting worse for the Pradesh. So he decided that now it's time he was leaving

mecca for Medina. And no doubt you can imagine only with the permission of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, he meets up with the army. Right him and his family.

Now fast forward things they continue the journey until they get to 22 miles around 22 miles from Makkah, at a place called called Mark Darren. And they make they said camping 10,000 people said camp somewhere in the desert by Darren and the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam

whether he felt that declaration must be having an idea, there must be some information where he felt this was the time that we want to make a spectacular announcement that we are here. So why did the Prophet salallahu alayhi wasallam do he commanded each person to light a fire? So if there's 10,000 people how many fires Do we have 10,000 fires 10,000 fires are lit. You know the darkness of the desert night is going to turn into light. So he orders that these 10,000 fires billets and he tells her Omar to

God the entry point to them. Okay. And

once this is happening, the Quraysh were leaders, Abu sufian Hakeem even his am so Pamela Hakeem even his amp, we hear his narrations in the Sunnah of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam and Buddha's been one of these leaders, they do what they do they start patrolling the surroundings of Makkah to see what is going on.

When you read the sera Subhan Allah, you get this impression that they had no idea that the Muslims were coming. They had no idea that 10,000 men will marching towards me. And this is amazing this you can see Subhanallah the help of Allah subhanho wa Taala upon the messenger sallallahu alayhi wa sallam because every time before when we discussed Makkah, the Quran, caught intelligence, even from better when they were going after Abu sufian caravan, Abu sufian picked up what was happening he sends a message to Mecca. Then they send their info a reinforcer they sent their the army reinforcements to save the caravan of Abu sufian remember, was with our hard things that things

happen with

you know what they want the offensive with Confederates they want on the offensive but then with the with the first trip to Amara remember, they find out and they send people to meet the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam remember that and then who they via happens, the compensation your ombre as well. They send people to meet the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam outside of the Hara boundary, but Subhan Allah this time, they have no idea. nothing whatsoever. That's the impression you get when you read the different narratives here. So it seems that these three seniors of the Quraysh are just roaming. It's something they did their patrols Mecca, let's see what's happening.

So how am I and it gives you an insight into how life was back then. So they are patrolling the surroundings of Mecca. And

they see the spectacular sight of 10,000 fires.

Now why do I say that? No idea, because in one narrative, it says Buddha, he says that By Allah, this is the Hosea tribe. And they just behaving like this because they just enraged by war, because of what happened. They just tried to, you know, create a scene. Remember we said brubacher attack them with the courageous help. Now, whilst that scene is happening, let's go back to it. The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was we have our best and our best he's deaf maca, but his family's in Makkah. He's a Muslim. situation here?

Right. So Allah knows best whether he sought permission from the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam or not some narrative, say he got onto his mule, some narratives give the impression that it was upon the mule of the Prophet salallahu, alayhi wasallam. And he went out of the camp area, to try and go to Mecca to see to see, can I bump into some of the seniors of the crash. And this gives the impression that the scene is of parade of operations to roam the boundaries of Makkah to see what's going on and so on and so forth.

So he thought, let me just do this, I might bump into some and we can try and create, you know, a form of negotiation maybe. And, you know, things can happen in a in a lighter way, because, honestly, honestly, and no one knew better about the situation in Macedonia.

And now he's with the Muslims. So he's seen both sides. So he knew Honestly, this is going to be outside massacre, if the Quraysh Don't be playball of the Croatian are careful. So he goes out.

And

He says, This is what's going on guys. They hear that's them. Those fires you see is them 10,000 you guys have no charts.

The only way I see out of this

For me to take you to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, Abu sufian agreed. And you can see that Abu sufian throughout, you know, he was this enemy of Allah before he became a Muslim. But you know what he used to think. Remember his conversation with with Hara. He didn't lie. He spoke the truth. Right? So he had, he had a form of caliber to him, right? So he says, Okay, I'll go speak to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, the other two refused, they went back to Mk. Now, he said that Abu sufian sat at the back of the mu, of, of, you know, that Abbas was on whether it was his own or the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and they would pass to try and get to the entry

point. And obviously the possible these fires, and every time they pass a fire, people would get up and say, Who is it? And they would look and see Hamza, and they would just come down and say, Oh, that's the prophets uncle. And in some narratives, they would say that's the prophets uncle on his mule,

on his mule, meaning the prophets mule, Allahu Allah.

And this is where you get the impression that was Hamza and his own mule or was he on the prophets mule? So this is what would happen. Now, this means that people were anxious, and I obviously they were anxious. They were in enemy territory. Right. So whenever they had moved in, they would get up and check Who's that what's going on? But they didn't check beyond

Abbess, so they didn't see abou Sophia. But guess what? They get to the entry point now towards the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam. You can see the checkpoint. Should I tell you what Omar does you imagine? You imagine what Omar was ready to

do? So, at best, he scolds Omar a little bit, and he says, leave Abu sufian alone. He's under my protection and abuse, birth rights past Omar and Omar says running to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam. And you get the impression that no one was going to win the race. Besides homage to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam that day. That's how ready Omar was to to give Abu sufian a blow.

They get to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and the Prophet Allah. Allah explains his part. Abbas explains his part. And, you know, all of a sudden, Omar is is there aroma, and a best to try and get through to Mr. Abbas said to remember that you only behaving like this and you being heavy handed and you want to give a blow to Abu sufian because he's not from Bhanu ID he's not from your tribe. If this was someone from your tribe, then you would have not been like this. So Omar was not going to have that.

We know Omar right. Remember after I heard what did he say, when Abu Bakr said,

Let's take let's take them as prisoners of war. I'm gonna said no, don't take them as prisoners of war, rather select someone from the tribe from the believers and hand him the sword and let him do give him the capital punishment. armour didn't care about this blood stuff. When ombre became a Muslim. He was a Muslim. Mia filmy as the Arab say, 100%. So he made his case with an Abbess that who you know what, what are you talking about? And who do you think you're talking to you think I have these tribal allegiances. In any case, it got hectic and the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam stepped in, and the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam

stopped it. Obviously Abbas was wrong. And Omar was not that person. And the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam stopped it and said, leave my tent and come back in the morning, and we will sort this out in the morning.

So Abu sufian spent that night with the Muslims Subhan Allah, under the care of Allah best.

When morning came, our bass brings Abu sufian to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. Now, let's not forget who Abu sufian was.

Let's not forget about better.

Let's not forget about it. Let's not forget about the Battle of the Confederates, and he was leaving a mess of Army.

Right? So forget all about this. And this person was an ardent enemy.

He brought so many problems to the believers.

So you can expect you know you can imagine what he's thinking the entire night. What is he thinking about? What is he thinking about? What is he thinking about tomorrow? I'm gonna go to the leader of the Muslims, this man who I've been fighting since ever to Han Allah, what is he going to do to me? And he goes to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam and the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam welcomes him and the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam

Presents him is to him Islam

Subhan Allah,

Abu sufian becomes overwhelmed at the kindness of the messenger sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and he praises the messenger sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, he says me my father and mother be sacrificed for you. So gentle, you are so kind you are, but then he says, but

but I have my doubts.

Now when he said this, I burst chastises him and Allah says accept Islam except the invite of the messenger sallallahu alayhi wasallam before your neck is struck.

So I was in Vienna accepts Islam, you can see was a practical man who was being intelligent, right?

He he tried his luck.

He tried his these might have thought okay, maybe I can save myself from being executed and still remain upon the way of my forefathers. But now he saw he had no choice he accepted Islam. Now it is said that the news gets out of the camp and it gets to Abubakar and he gets to Omar Abu sufian has accepted Islam, Subhana Allah, and our motto says he was scared. He accepted Islam because he was scared. And Abubakar says to Omar, you don't know what is in the hearts of people, meaning Omar, that's not an appropriate thing to say. And again, you know, when you read the Sierra and you look at these comments, and you read this conversation gives, it gives you an idea of who these people

are. It gives you an idea of who these people are. Anyway, brothers and sisters in Islam, eventually Abu sufian grew in his faith, especially when he saw the promises of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam coming true, right in terms of empires falling into the hands of the Muslims. Right. So and it he said that when he saw this, he actually wished that he accepted Islam early and was not stubborn and believed the promise of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam. So people become Muslim for different reasons. Right, but as long as they sincere at the beginning, Allah subhanho wa Taala opens for them. And indeed Allah subhanho wa Taala chooses who he chooses. And this man was chosen

from being destined for the Hellfire and being with Abu JAL, and Abu lahab Subhana Allah, He is going to be in Jannah. And they're going to be in

in the Hellfire and speaking about who Allah chooses. Remember, at this point, we have a crema, the son of Abu Jamal, and he is still a disbeliever. And he hates the Muslims, and he hates Islam, and he is still in Mecca.

Now,

a best best was was wise. And you know, he thought that look, Abu sufian has become a Muslim Subhan Allah, Abu sufian He's the leader of the Quraysh he's a senior leader, he's so well respected. So he goes to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam and he says, the prophets of Allah, Allah wasn't the Messenger of Allah, you know, Abu sufian he loves on and he had on, he's given it up, honor him with something give him some honor. So the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said no problem. Whoever gets into the house of Abu sufian will be safe. When we enter Makkah, whoever is in the house of Abu sufian is safe. But then the Prophet salallahu alayhi wa sallam also said whoever enters his own

house is safe, and whoever enters the masjid is safe.

But he highlights abou Sophia and I want you to focus on this point because we have a lesson that we'll share when we get to the pitstop.

So,

you know, this is what he tells My best advice is ready to go tell Abu sufian that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam has honored you He said, Whoever goes into your house is safe. But before he leaves the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam says to our best, at best, I want you to keep Abu sufian with you and confine him to a high point, a viewpoint. I want him to witness the 10,000 Muslim army passing into Makkah, I want him to see it. So Han Allah, and this is what Abbas did after the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam moved the army forward. And Abu sufian watches this army and he asked Who are these people? And Al Abbas answers, he goes, who are these people?

And our best answer because Who are these people? He goes, these are the mahadji rune. And who are these people? These are the Tsar and Abu sufian. is is is is amazed. He's amazed. He's it's mind blowing the scenes that he's seeing, and he bears testimony that you know what, no one has the mite to overcome the men of this army.

He is it's as if he's saying Alhamdulillah accepted Islam, because today maca is going to be Muslim.

Right? But strangely, and not surprisingly, because he's just a Muslim. He hasn't read the Quran. He hasn't studied with the messenger sallallahu alayhi wasallam. So his heart is more connected to the life of this world. What does he say? He says, at best, the kingdom of your nephew has become great. Because now it's a kingdom. Why? Because he had Medina. He has haber. Now he has Mecca. He has the South he has the North. It's a kingdom.

That's how people who think of the life of this world think and I best corrected him and said, Oh yeah, but Sophia, this is not a kingdom. But this is Prophethood This is the promise of Allah. This is the truth, overcoming falsehood.

Lighting to Abu sufian that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was not on a mission of this world. He wasn't trying to build the life in this world. He was trying to build the life of the hereafter and take as many people with him there successfully. That was his vision. It wasn't a worldly mission. It was a Prophetic Mission.

Okay, so there's still much to go brothers and sisters in Islam, but perhaps we should stop here and go into the pitstop of lessons. But let me check how many minutes we have left. Okay, we've done 35 minutes.
