Maybe… You’re the Jerk!

Hey, maybe people don't like you because you're a jerk. You're watching hashtag asleep.

So sometimes we'll hear someone say, you know, those people, they don't like me because I'm not religious enough for them, or they don't like me because I don't have a beard, or I don't do this. And I don't do that those people are so judgmental. And the reality may be that it's not the fact that they're judgmental. They don't like you because of your character flaws. Maybe you come off as rude or condescending, maybe you come off as the opposite of holier than thou, right? So maybe you're projecting your own insecurities onto them. And the reality is that what needs to happen is that you need to take a look at yourself and say, maybe it's my actions and how I'm coming off and

how as I'm how I'm behaving, that is a reason that is causing them to not like me. And that is taking a look in the mirror, taking a look at yourself. Remember, it's always easy to look at other people's faults and other people's flaws. And it's always easy to blame the other person and it's usually very hard for us to take a look at ourselves and our own faults and see where we are lacking. And maybe if you change the way you behave towards them, maybe you came off as super nice. And maybe you acted very humble to them, that they wouldn't be so judgmental, or they weren't judgmental in the beginning. And Allah Subhana Allah knows best until next time in sha Allah
