00:01:57--> 00:02:40

Assalamu alaykum warahmatullahi wabarakatuhu. Welcome to the productive Muslim 28 day hot detox challenge one point, throughout this month, you are going to purify your heart with small acts of a bed every day. Now why the heart The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam narrated, beware in the body there is a piece of flesh, if it is sound, the whole body is sung. And if it is corrupt, the whole body is corrupt. And this is the heart. So the heart is the most important part of our being the core and frequently says that it is our heart that reasons it is our heart that is guided and our heart that brings contentment for us. However, the state of our heart will depend on what we

00:02:40--> 00:03:17

feed it. So just like we have to take care of our bodies by eating healthy and avoiding junk food and doing regular exercise, we have to take care of our hearts also. And just like our bodies can become sick, our hearts can also become sick too. But our hearts can be cleansed depending on the actions that we do. So I want you to think of a diet. When you want to start eating healthy, you have to increase the amount of good things that you're eating, you have to significantly reduce or cut out anything unhealthy. And you have to make sure that you are consistent in what you are doing. The same way this happens with our heart. We have to make sure we are feeding our heart good things

00:03:17--> 00:04:00

good information, we are listening to good things, seeing good things, speaking good words. And we have to make sure that we cut out things that are bad for us. So what are the kinds of things that can contaminate the heart, things like greed, lust, anger, jealousy, Allah Subhana Allah has given us a wide spectrum of emotions for us to feel. But if we can train our hearts to be immersed in the love of Allah, to thirst for knowledge that brings us closer to our Creator, then we can channel our energy to purify our hearts and achieve contentment. So in light of this, we came up with a detox plan for a heart and productivity campaign. So we aim to detox our hearts from any impurities. So I

00:04:00--> 00:04:41

want you to think of a time when you're on a spiritual high, and how amazing it felt. This could have been during the Ramadan and after it for a bit this could have been during the Hajj season. And then I want you to think about what happens afterwards. You know, sometimes you start to slip. Sometimes you stop being as consistent as you used to be. And you find yourself constantly using the excuse that you're too busy or you don't have enough time. And because you've become so consumed with the dunya it becomes harder to find quality time to dedicate to a better but a better isn't about doing the equivalent of at kerf and shutting yourself off from society and spending hours only

00:04:41--> 00:04:59

in select all day long. This, this religion is a mercy from Allah where we can actually turn our day to day activities into a birder for the sake of Allah. So for this heart detox to work, you're going to need two things which are the motto of our organization, have sincere intentions and work hard.

00:05:00--> 00:05:42

So how will this plan work? Everyday you are going to listen to an audio podcast, you will read one productive Muslim article and two pages of Quran. These are your three based tasks that you will complete every day. And then you will have two very, very easy task to do on top of that. So, again, your acquired task, read a progressive Muslim article, two pages of the Quran, and listen to a podcast. What are you going to cut out? In order for this detox to work, you have to cut things out. You can't have a diet for your body where you're eating some healthy food, but you're still having fried food every day. So what are you going to cut up, you're going to cut up music, you're going to

00:05:42--> 00:06:26

cut TV series, social media, unless it's for our purposes, and gossiping. So essentially, for us to detox our heart, we need to cut out the unhealthy activities and we're going to replace them with healthy ones. As he the Almighty, as he the Almighty says, indeed the hearing the sight and the heart, about all those one will be questioned. This is in the Quran, Chapter 17 verse 36. So essentially, the goals of this heart challenge are to let go of any soft addictions, to incorporate more regular habits of a better into your daily life, to achieve inner contentment to strengthen your relationship with people and to channel negative emotions into positive energy. Each week,

00:06:26--> 00:06:37

we'll have a theme and that's the hard challenge for you. So I wish you the best of luck with this heart challenge. And I pray that a love with the butter kindness challenge I may successful for you. Thank you
