Hadith of Jibreel #02

Alhamdulillah wa salatu salam ala rasulillah who Allah Allah He was so happy woman Wanda, my blood. My dear brothers and sisters said Ahmadi Kumara Mottola, he wabarakatuh. And welcome to the second halakhah on the hadith of God. So we left off my dear brothers and sisters that gibreel has come and sit next to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and he has now started to converse with the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and he says, Yeah, Mohammed Akbar neon in Islam. He says, oh, Mohammed informed me about Islam. So we see that jabril he speaks to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, almost as if a Bedouin would speak to the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.

So this is the type of vibe that we're getting from this portion of the Hadith, that gibreel has not come as an urbanized, educated individual that knows manners, but rather gibreel has come as a Bedouin man, and is asking the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam by saying, Yeah, Mohammed. Now this would not be allowed for anyone else. For us believers. When we speak about the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, it has to be done with the utmost respect. So what exactly does that mean? That means when we mentioned the name of Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, we should always send salah and Salaam upon the Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, why is this

something so significant? I'll give you two reasons. Reason number one, Allah subhanaw taala tells us and sort of has all you who believe. Rather Allah Allah Spanos, Allah says, Indeed Allah and the angels send their salah and Salaam upon the Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, so all you who believe send your Salah, and Salam upon the Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. So we learned from this is that it is an action that Allah subhanaw taala does himself and the angels do and it is a command from Allah to do so. And then number two, in the Hadith narrated by Timothy, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was climbing the number one day and gibreel was making and

commanding the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam to say, I mean, what were the three the eyes that he made, he said to me, he be humiliated and disgraced. The one that has one parent alive or both parents alive, but does not attain forgiveness by serving them. And he commanded the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam to say I mean and then he said me he be humiliated and disgraced, the one that hears your name and does not send salah and Salaam upon you. And he commanded the Prophet sallallahu alayhi Salaam to say I mean, and then the third step or rather the second step is what I was going to mention in the third step is sending Salaam Salaam. He said, may he be humiliated and

disgrace the one that lives through Ramadan, you're just not attained forgiveness through it, and he commanded the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam to say, I mean, so this shows us that this is something that is highly recommended to do so. And anytime you hear the name of Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, if you're able to, you should send salah and Salaam. So this is from the etiquette of mentioned the name of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. Then he goes on to say, inform me about Islam and the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam he tells him the famous five pillars of Islam, it is the testify to the oneness of Allah subhana wa tada and that Muhammad sallallahu alayhi

wa sallam is His Prophet and Messenger, it is to establish the prayer it is to fast in Ramadan, it is to give this a cat and it is to go for Hajj, if you are able to do so. Now what I want to quickly focus on in this Allah are what are the things that we can do that can help facilitate this for us. So the action of saying the Shahada, for those of us that were born into Islam and Hamdulillah, we say this in our Salah, for those of us that weren't born into Islam, then at one point or another, we have said the Shahada to embrace it. Now what is important about the Shahada is understanding its meaning and what it actually entails. So when we say that there's no god except Allah, what this

actually means is that there's no one worthy of worship except Allah, Allah is going to be my primary focus, the object of my love, the one that I will fear the most, and the one whom I will have the utmost hope in. And then when we say that Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam is His Prophet and Messenger, me that I will try my utmost best to follow the example of Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. So as for the first part, this comes by increasing in in knowledge and studying in Holocaust and studying the Quran. And then for number two, you study the seal of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and you see how he conducted himself, then we get to the

prayer. Prayer has always been something challenging, yet it is something that is so emphasized that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam called it the distinction between faith and this belief. So what are things that you can do to facilitate the prayer for yourself? Number one, is to pray in congregation when you pray with other people, it actually becomes easier as opposed to just praying by yourself. Number two, is that if you can learn the meanings of what you are saying, you will notice that it will become a lot easier for you to go through the movements and to concentrate because you know what you're saying. So when you start out by saying Allahu Akbar, Allah is the

Greatest, understand that there's nothing greater in your life.

To that point at that time, then Allah subhanho wa Taala number three, learning about the great reward of performing the Salah, but also learning about the great punishment of it. So the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam telling us that when we go down into the core sins fall off of us just like leaves fall off of a tree. And then when we go on to such that this is the closest the slave gets to Allah subhanaw taala. So when you learn about these rewards, you will be motivated to perform them. These are just some examples in sha Allah to help us motivate to be motivated to perform the Salah. In the month of Ramadan, there are two things that I would share. Number one is

to be in the habit of fasting. So if we're not in the habit of fasting throughout the year, when the Ramadan comes, it can be difficult. So we know from the Sunnah of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam is the first the 13th 14th and 15th of every month, the fast on Mondays, the fast the day of Ashura, the fast the day of arafah and these are some of the blessed and virtuous days, the first and then number two, learning about the great reward of fasting that the fact that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam quotes Allah subhana wa tada and say that fasting is for me, and I shall rewarded accordingly meaning it has a huge amount of reward. Now we move on to the cat and the cat

is to give 2.5% of your savings after you have reached the threshold, what is the threshold, roughly about 3000 Canadian dollars is the threshold. Now you have worked hard to earn this money, so why would you want to give it away? So what are some of the things that we can do that can help facilitate the circuit? Number one, understand that it is something that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam commanded when he said more either bingeable to Yemen, he commanded him that when you get to Yemen, find the rich people and take from their wealth and give it to the poor people. So it is a command of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and Allah subhana wa Tada. Number two,

that there's a great amount of punishment that comes down when people withhold their Zakat like drought happening, like famine happening, these are a result of the cat being withheld. also understand that when we give ours a cat, it helps purify our heart from stinginess from miserliness. And from hypocrisy, and it also helps build relationships with other people that people feel you have this genuine concern for them. That is why you're providing this as a cat. To them, the cat helped stabilize the economy so that people are no longer hoarding the wealth, and therefore we can try our best to eradicate poverty. And then we move on to the last one, which is making Hajj and

SubhanAllah. I feel so sad that this year they've announced that they're not going to be performing hajj with outsiders, and it will only be people locally, let's find out what the other grinders that have to go once the doors open up lahoma I mean, with that being said, Hij is going to be something that is physically taxing, and financially taxing. As for the physically taxing part, then this is something that can easily be overcome. Making sure you're going for walks making sure you're going on hikes in walking uphill, maybe carry a backpack when you're doing when you're doing so. And this will help build your cardiovascular strength and also get accustomed to you know, sleeping late and

eating late just for a few days. Because hygiene can be strenuous for those couple of days. Now as for the financial side of it, this is something we encourage people to stay off for, you know, we will save up to go to university we will save up to buy a house we will save up to buy a car and there are other things that we can we save up for we save up to go on vacation. So saving for the sake of Allah subhanaw taala and going for Hajj is something that we can do so as well. So every year try to put a little bit aside and when you have enough money, then this is something that Allah subhanaw taala has favored us and you are able to go for Hajj. Just to give you one little tidbit

about hedge hedge is that one deed that the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said that if you were to do it correctly, there is no reward other than paradise, and you will be returning back to your land, just like the day that you were born. Now most of the holidays are talking about sins being forgiven, they often talk about the minor sins being forgiven, but in hajj, we have actions that are done that actually forgive the major sins. So when we go for the stoning of jamaa rot, the major sins are actually forgiven at that time, according to the Hadith of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam, that every time you throw one of the cameras, then one of your major

sins is actually being forgiven. So when we feel that need for redemption, when we feel that the need for wanting to be cleansed of our sins, going for hygiene is one of the best things that we can do. So my dear brothers and sisters, these are just some of the quick tips I wanted to share with you to help us facilitate these pillars of Islam. These are the the binding criteria that we hold on to our faith and we have to make an effort to perform them. That is what keeps us into Islam. If we give up on trying to perform them. This is a very dangerous ground and we need to repent and turn back so I pray that Allah subhanaw taala
