Nadim Bashir – Shattering Doubts #3 – His Character was Proof that he was the Prophet

subhanho wa Taala and not believing in Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. Therefore, it is so
important that we have to have full year clean and full belief in Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa
		

			sallam. And this is why in our last session, we talked about this, that we're going to be going
through some things about the law. You don't know Booyah, this is something that email I'll be happy

			all, is that take a step back from an Islamic perspective. And you have the story of audio Viola

Carlyle, he was a Scottish philosopher, he died in the 1800s, he read the Syrah of Rasulullah
		

			sallallahu alayhi wasallam. And he himself, he read, and he gave many remarks about the Prophet
sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. But in conclusion, he wrote this about the Prophet SAW Salem that I
have no faith. He said it very clear in his own book, that I don't believe in Islam. But he said
this to that I don't have any faith. And I don't believe anyone who calls this man an imposter.
Anyone who says that Mohammed is a liar. Mohammed is an imposter. He goes, I don't believe in that
kind of person. I don't believe in these theories. And not only that, but he said that anyone who
has said anything about this about this man in this way, they are they are disgraceful, and they are
		

			disgracing us. So this is what he said. Now, just to give you one thing that he mentioned, he has
mentioned a lot of things. I'm just gonna take one thing that he mentioned, he said, that when you
say the life of the prophet saw send them we learn and as we all know how we all have learned,
growing up, the Prophet SAW Selim received new Buddha at the age of 40 years old. That means that
till the age of 40, this was a man who had gained a reputation in Mecca, that he was not just
trustworthy, he was solid people. I mean, whether you believed in his mission, or you did not
believe in his mission, and in his call, everyone, yet they believe that this man when he speaks, he
		

			speaks the truth. And he says, This guy, this this man, Thomas Carlyle, he says that not only do we
find this, but we also find that it had this man been a liar. Had this man been an imposter, as
people claim that he would have not waited to the age of 40, to claim prophet hood. Why? To 40,
because then we find from the Sierra that Djibouti rally, some came to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi
wa sallam, and not only that, but he also says that when he reached the age of 50 years old, that is
when there was a major incident that happened in the life of the prophet saw Selim. And what is Tom

			Why did Allah wait for 40 years, to give prophets of salaam Naboo? Ah, one of the things that we
learn is that is because Allah wanted to make sure that this man has such a reputation of being
trustworthy, that even afterwards if he makes that claim, there is no one who can say that he's a
liar. Now there's another incident of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam that shows us the
honesty, and shows us that there is no doubt in the fact that this man was not an impostor, but he
was truly the prophet of allah sallallahu alayhi wa send them when the Prophet saw some son Ibrahim
passed away. Very difficult time in the life of the Prophet salallahu alayhi wa sallam, the Prophet
		

			sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, when his son passed away, we all know that the Eclipse took place in
Medina. Now, people say that had this man and we study this, we see this. Hi Rasulullah sallallahu
alayhi wa sallam been a liar. Had he been an imposter. Then a man any man who was in the position of
the prophets of salaam who was calling people in how do you how do you been an imposter, they would
have taken this opportunity as an they would have taken this incident as an opportunity to
		

			influence and to push forward their cause, because people would have said that you know what, this
is a great incident something has happened. Let me use this to my advantage Rasulullah sallallahu
alayhi wa sallam the sign that he was truly the prophet of allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam is the
fact that when this happened, people, they connected the incident of Eclipse with the death of the
son of Abraham, with the death of the son of the Prophet SAW Salem, and the Prophet alayhi salam,
instead of using this as an opportunity, and instead of further instead of using this to push
forward his cause, he stood upon the pulpit, and he made it very clear that this is not, this is not
		

			because of the death of my son, do not attribute the death of my son to this phenomenon of Allah
subhanho wa Taala these are two different things. And these are the signs of Allah subhanho wa
taala. And once again, this incident shows us the honesty of Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam
the integrity of the Prophet sallallahu Sallam had this man being an imposter, he would have if
there was any other person. So behind law, there are so many imposters in this dunya, who have who
are currently here today, been there in the past, and every single time if they would have seen a
situation and a door opening like this, they would have taken advantage but the Prophet SAW Selim
		

			never took advantage of this, and he will never He never capitalized on this to boost his
credibility, but rather he brought people closer to Allah subhanho wa taala. This goes to show us
that there is no doubt in the fact that this man he has to be a prophet of Allah. The second thing
that we learn from the life of the prophet saw Selim is his ascetic lifestyle, his ascetic
lifestyle. There is no doubt in the fact that at the time of the Prophet Allah Islam, he pretty much
controlled Arabia, Rabia, of course today, where it is today compared to at that time, how much land
it is today, we're not talking about that. We're just talking about where the Muslims were living
		

			that was considered as ages. And there is no doubt in the fact that at that time the Prophet SAW
Salem was viewed as the leader of ages. There were people who were living with Rasulullah sallallahu
alayhi wa sallam even before Emeka, before the prophet is somehow even conquered Makkah, there were
people who were raised to give their life for the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. Now, go back
to the life of the prophet saw Salem, and think about this had this man if he was a man who was self
serving, and let me stop here for a second and explain this. There are people who are going to have
a loss. And there are people who are going to be self serving. I've talked about this before, when
		

			we connect with other people, is either we're doing it for the sake of Allah, or I'm doing it for my
own self, trying to serve myself. And we see this happening. The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam
never called people to Allah. He never build alliances, he never built brotherhood so that he can
serve himself. It was all of it for who to serve Allah subhanho wa Taala any imposter, any imposter
that has come in this dunya you will see that one of the things about their nature is that they try
to use people to get things from them so that they can live a more comfortable lifestyle. The
Prophet SAW Selim on the other hand, it did not matter how many supporters he had, when he went to
		

			Makkah, when he went to Mecca for hydrogen for Hajj, for the hospital without there were around
10,000 Sahaba with the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, if he wanted, he could have lived a very
prosperous lifestyle, he could have used them to gain whatever he wanted. When Makkah when the
Muslims were victorious, as the spoils of war were coming in the province of Saddam could have said
to himself that you know what, let me keep this for myself. You take this little, little little, and
he would have kept majority for himself. But yet we learned that how acidic he was, is that despite
all the victories of the Muslims, despite how many votes or how many supporters he had, despite the
		

			fact that people were willing to give everything they can for the province of Salem. This was a man
who has such a small house, that when he wanted to make sujood, he had to tap the toes of Aisha so
she can pull in her feet so that he can make sujood This is not a man who was selfish. This was a
man who was ascetic. This was a man who did not care about the dunya. And this is a sign in itself,
that he is truly the prophet of allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, he was not greedy for himself.
Not only that, not only that he had a strong mat such that even one time when Allah or the Allah
Tron, he saw the power summon the state, he cried, and he said that there are people who don't
		

			believe in Allah, they live a prosperous, prosperous lives and look at you older so Allah because
when the Prophet saw some he would lie down on the straw man. There were some marks on his bodies
from that strong
		

			Think about this. Have we seen any other leader in this history? Throughout history? Have we seen
any leader who lives a life like this, there is no other leader. And this is why we find that
Rasulullah saw some is truly a truly the prophet of Allah. There was a, an American biographer, his
name was Washington Irving. He also died in the 1800s. He read the seed of the Prophet sallallahu
alayhi wa sallam, and the life of the Prophet alayhi salam. And he said, first of all, is that no
matter? A sign that this man was truly the prophet of Allah, is the fact that when you study his
life, and you say that diet of Rasulullah saw Salam, no matter what was going on, no matter how rich
		

			Medina became, how much there was coming into Medina, this is a man whose diet was the same thing.
From the beginning of his life to the end of his life. Things did not it, you know, he never
upgraded in his life. There were times when there was no fire that was kindled in the house of the
Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam. This was a man this was a man that no matter whether it was
before Fatah Makkah or after Fatima, aka that now he has Medina in his hand, he has now MCDA in his
control, yet you do not see a difference in his o'clock. You never saw a difference in his manners.
These are signs these are signs. He was truly a man of his word. He was the prophet of allah
		

			sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, another person was a name a person by the name of Bosworth Smith. He
died in 1900s. He was a reverend, he said about the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam because he's
a pastor, he understands. He's read these kind of things. He said, that when you study about Rome,
of the Caesar, the Caesar was the head of the state. You have the pope who is the head of the
church. He says, Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was an interesting figure, that he was the
head of state, and he was the head of church. And not only that, but he said that when you study
when you study their lives, you will see that they have bodyguards all the time around them, they
		

			have their army, they have their own people that if they need to, they will stand up against other
people. He says you don't find this with Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wasallam go back to the hadith
of Rasulullah saw salaam where he went to that woman, and he says that woman who was crying next to
the same the next to the grave of her son, and she says that when I came to the house of the power
sun, I did not find a bodyguard. He says this man Bosworth Smith says he goes this is a sign that

			bravery. When we talk about his bravery, the reason I talked about his bravery is because there are

fine. We will say that he was an honest man. But they also say about the profit of some now the
biller that he never He did lie, they still say that he lied, but they said that he never

he's mentally insane. Then this will be this guy will be a perfect patient of mine. Okay. So let me
go talk to him. And let me see if you know if he needs help. So he went to Rasulullah sallallahu
alayhi wa sallam and he says that, you know people they say that you are mentally insane. Can you
like talk to me? Because when you when there's a person who's mentally insane when they talk to you,
		

			you can tell right away especially this man is a psychologist, he could understand this. So the
Prophet SAW Selim, he never said anything such as No, they're lying. You know, the Prophet of Allah.
He didn't say anything like that. He simply started off by
		

			saying in Al Hamdulillah NAMA, the who was the you know, who was still fatal. And he went through
the entire hood with a hijab. When he said this, the mother loves the says My mind was blown away.
These are such eloquent words, beautiful words. One who is a mentally insane person can say these
kinds of things. But at the same time, you want to make sure because once again, a person who's
mentally insane, they will not be consistent with their words. So he says, as he says to the prophet
of Salam, I want you to repeat it again. And again, he said, the same exact words, in the
Hamdulillah, who want to start, you know, when it's tough, you know, all the way to the end of the
		

			whole bottle Hydra. And then the model is Allah D says, These people say that you're mentally
insane, you're not mentally insane. And he says, They say I'm mentally insane. Because I say La
ilaha illa. Allah, they don't believe in La Ilaha illa Allah, and he took the shahada on the hands
of the Prophet salallahu alayhi wa sallam. So once again, when people say that he never lied,
knowingly, but he lied, because he was mentally unstable. You cannot say that, because never did the
words of the Prophet, some contradict each other. Not only that, another reason why we said that he
was not mentally insane, is because a person who's mentally insane or has mental who has mental
		

			instabilities that we will say about that kind of person that they're not able to achieve? Or
they're not able to? Not only that, but they're not able to be successful in their endeavors and so
forth. This was a man that touched the lives of so many 1000s of people, how can this man be
mentally unstable? So this is why we say that and going back to the Orientals who say that not only
that, but he says that he's a prophet of Allah. But we say that, first of all, he's a prophet of
Allah. And not only that, whatever he believed in, he was a very first person who stood up for it.
And the reason I say that is because there was an idea that is revealed or that was revealed in the
		

			time of the Prophet SAW Salem, that Allah subhanho wa Taala in surah. Al Qaeda said, yeah, you have

from the people. This is Allah taking guarantee that I will protect you.

But the bravery of the prophets of Salaam is a sign that he was truly the prophet of allah
sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and not only that, but there are so many other stories like Ali or the
Allah to Allah, he mentioned in the Battle of whether it was a prophet or someone who was out there
fighting with everyone we know in the Battle of what happened to the Prophet SAW Selim. So no one
can ever, ever object to the bravery of the Prophet SAW Salem, last two things in sha Allah, the the
perseverance of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, we all know for a fact
		

			that challenges of the problem he went through, as first of all being born, he was born without a
father, number one. Number two, go back to the seat of the province of Salem, every woman that came
into Makkah at that time to take the kids to the deserts, to take care of them, every woman rejected
Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa salam, think about what a mother is going through. When people are
rejecting your child. Why did they reject her samosa Salem, is because they realize that he doesn't
have a father, and he's an orphan, and how are they going to get paid? They never took Rasulullah
saw Salem and by the way, that same night, when Halima came, she came late into Makkah, all the rich

			Same night She even asked her husband. And the husband said this is that one kid Mohammed, he's an
orphan. Just take him in sha Allah, we'll see what happens. But you don't want to come to Makkah and
leave empty handed. She took Rasulullah saw Salam, and we know what happened so much Baraka in her
life. So first of all, as done, then we know that at a very young age, probably three or four, his
heart and his chest was cut open. He went through that process. Then not only that, he saw his
mother passed away right before him at the age of six, at the age of eight, his grandfather passed
away. He then lives with his uncle and a book father was not very well off, or the Multilib did not
		

			leave a lot of real estate or a lot of wealth behind for Abu Talib. He left it for his other
children, but not for Abu Talib. So bouteille financially he was, he was not doing very well, the
province, some he lived through that he lived in a way where he was forced to get onto his two feet

through all the different trials of life, then going through, you know, after the fact that he had

own hands, he saw six of them dying, right before his eyes will lie. I have seen parents today who
		

			have lost one child 10 years later, they will still not overcome the grief of losing one child. This
is a man who lost six children. Can you think about the sanity of a man of that type, not only that,
when the power Saddam is calling people to Allah, what things they did to him what things they did
to his family, what things they did to his Sahaba. And then after coming to Medina, battles, after
battles, trials, after trials, externally, internally or externally from the Polish, internally,
from the from the Jewish community, from the moon, African and in, in Medina, the Prophet SAW Salem,
the only time he saw happiness was towards the end of his life. Yet when we say his life, he was
		

			still he was a man who always put a smile on other people's faces. This was a man who cared about
others before he would care for himself. This was a man that despite all this, he was able to read
Quran and convey the message of Allah subhanho wa taala. There is no other person in history, if
they had gone through what the problem has gone, had gone through, they will be able to maintain
their sanity. But the Prophet SAW Selim, on the other hand, all this the fact that he was able to
maintain all this, he went through this and he came up on the other end, as a victory as a victor as
the man who was on top. This was purely from Allah subhanho wa taala, which is again a sign that
		

			this man is truly the prophet of allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. And finally, we talk about the
people who follow the Prophet SAW Allah salaam, this is something that is mentioned in the books of
delight on the Buddha, that when you study the life of Rasulullah, sallallahu alayhi wa sallam,
first of all, you had his followers at the time of the Prophet alayhi salam. But what is interesting
is that even after the time, the Prophet SAW Selim, till today, the fact that we read his life, the
fact that we read his sayings, the fact that we try to live his life, the fact that we try to live
by his code of conduct, his code, and his principles of life, we pride ourselves on being the
		

			almighty of Rasulullah sallallahu, ala he was telling them this enough, in this in itself, is a sign
that this man truly was the prophet of Allah. There are people who have come in the past people that
till today we read about them in history, our kids read about them in history, but is there anyone
till today, the people they try to become like him, even Christians, when they say Jesus Christ,
Jesus Christ, are they be are they actually like, is that like a cylinder not till today, this is
the only beam the only Dean that when they read about their leader, they tried to follow their
leader, and that is Islam and Muslims. And not only that, but there was a British scholar of the
		

			past who was an archaeologist. His name was David George, he died in the in the early 1900s. Even he
himself says that, that there is no person in the human race, like Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa
sallam that people take pride in following him to the smallest details, and he's himself he has read
he has read some parts of the lives of our son and he said, that this is also a sign that this man
was a an apostle of Allah. So Allah subhanho wa taala. When this man says that he is a prophet of
Allah, He is truly a prophet of Allah. Because over the years, think about this 15 almost 1500 years
have gone by a millennium and a half. Okay? A decade is what 10 years 100 years is a century. We're
		

			talking about a millennium and a half later, yet people are still still there.
		

			admire this man so much. So he goes, there is no person in the history of mankind that 1500 years
later people are still so dated, dedicated to a certain individual. The fact that Muslims do that is
a sign that this man was truly a prophet. So when we study about the life of the prophet saw Salem,
from the point of the light on the boudoir, then we have absolutely no doubt. And even if we come
across people who say that, yes, he was probably a man. Yes, we do agree that he was a man sent in
Arabia, we say no, he was truly a prophet of allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and these are all
the proofs that we have, that this man is a man of his word. When he says that he is the prophet of
		

			Allah. He is truly the prophet of allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. So we'll finish on here
