Making fun of our Prophet, How do we respond

how they reacted to all of this is is something that is justified Is it something that you and I, we condemn, in our religion, all of these things we will talk about? Because let's face it, everyone, it's not enough anymore. It's not enough anymore, that you simply come to a Masjid or a halaqa. And you listen to a lecture about a certain topic, and life continues. We're living in harsh times where you know, we're living in times where the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam once stood up on top of a wall, and he looked at all of the sahabas and he said, Well, law he there will come a time when fitna will come down into this world like a strong storm, like a thunderstorm, and it will touch

every single home no matter where you are in the world. It's as if we live in that time right now, no matter what you are, it wouldn't matter if you're just an innocent Muslim, comes to the masjid does this thing and just goes home, you're not involved in anything. You're not involved in a Masjid or in an institution. You're not giving Dawa. You're not in the public eye, you're not doing any of these things. Yet fitness still following you. scrutiny still follows you. If you walk outside to the supermarket or you go outside to the mall, people will still have comments and gestures towards you and you've done nothing wrong. You're just simply being an regular human being living your life

not involved in no one else's affair. But this is the time when we're living in this is why one of the reasons why I took on this position is I want to open your minds and your hearts to these issues. Now, some of the contemporary issues that are happening around us, but instead, don't get me wrong, you never you're not going to hear me say to you that it is wrong to do this. But people are just busy with themselves in let me study a book of the scholars. Let me study albarino Let me study bluehole moron, let me study and they restrict themselves to just that alone, and they forget what is happening around them. They lose sight of it. And let me tell you why this is so important.

Number one, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam even though Allah azza wa jal kept teaching him the poor, and he was always aware and involved with the affairs that were happening around him. He's walking through the marketplace to see what is the affair what is the status, what's happening to the people around him, he wants to know his oma he wants to know the nature of their business and their love their lifestyles, and if they need any help, if they're struggling, if there's problems, and this is what he would do up until vote, and then vote of time, he would take a small rest of about 15 to 20 minutes, and then he would continue with the rest of the day. And this is how he lived. He never just restricted to himself we just are in and that's it.

Part of it is also understanding the dunya and how it works and what's happening around you. This is why shall we say me and Rahim Allah has a book that is titled key tabular in. In it he talks about all of these different tangents that knowledge is not only restricted to the shed era, this is the best knowledge This is the pinnacle of variable. This is the knowledge that you can never live without. But it's not the only knowledge usage, restrict yourself to but rather shape or theming goes into a hugely dedicated he dedicates a large portion of his book, just talking about students who go out to university and college, what you should study how you should study it, share what they

mean even encouraged a student of knowledge, a tolerable aim, that you are never a complete student of knowledge unless you understand the dunya and how it works. And he encourages students that if you have the capability to go out and

to a university and study something, so that way you have the best of two worlds. And if you look at the LMS they've been doing this from since the beginning of time. Mmm and no real rahimullah, even though he was a classic or a master in Hadeeth. He was also known to be a doctor. During that time. Every single alum or scholar never restricted their learning only to Islam. But they also took with that learning the dunya and everything around them, ask any scholar, is it permissible to do this, any scholar you want, and they will encourage you to do so. Because many of the arola they do this themselves. So why do I mention all of this, really, and truly, this is not the topic that we're talking about. But this is just a brief sample or introduction to our next

Having said that,

let's get to the topic of this evenings halaqa this evening's halaqa insha, Allah hota alum I dedicated to a particular story, a story that many of you have heard, but many Muslims don't study this story in depth. They don't study it in detail, but it's just something occasionally you hear about it. It is none other than a story of a great prophet of Islam, a story that begins Once there was a time when the angels they were sitting in the agenda, and they were discussing who is the greatest human being during that time. This is before the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam came. So one of the angels they said, the greatest prophet or the greatest human being is a you body, his

Salaam, and the rest of the angels. They agreed and this, this narration is narrated in Bahati, and the rest of them they agreed. So that's what makes him the descendants of Abraham. It's the same thing with Yusuf Ali, his Salim Yusuf Ali Islam is also from the descendants of Abraham, and he is from the descendants of his help that son of Abraham. Now we know Abraham had two sons, his help and his marine. Now there were only a few profits from ismar

So shaitan or he believes he comes to him and he snatches all of this away from him. Now why did a police do this in the first place? A believes tells Allah subhanho wa Taala that if you take away his money, you're going to find that he's going to stop

Praying to you. He's going to stop making videos to you and he's going to stop remembering you he's only doing it as a favor because of what you've given him. So Allah azza wa jal wants to teach a police a lesson is like yeah, you is that really what you think? Okay, fine here you have the power to do this. Go and you will see for yourself that this is not the case. When a YouTube loses all of its money, the shaitan he comes to him and he says, Now look what you're going to do all that praying and that drama that you've done, look, you didn't work you've lost everything.

A you Bollywood cinema response to a police and says to him, Allah gives to whom He wills and Allah takes from who he wants, and everything belongs to Allah azza wa jal, I'm going to be patient. So a police gets really, really upset, gets really frustrated. What does he do? He goes back to Allah azza wa jal, when he goes back to Allah azza wa jal, he tells Allah, you know, if you take away his family, because the one most detrimental thing that could happen to a person is that they lose a parent losing their child. So take away all of his children, according to some narrations had been cathedra mentioned this in his Tafseer of suicide. And so tell me that you Barney, his Salaam had

approximately a dozen children 12 children, according to one narration, it was 14 children. So somewhere around there, he had about a dozen children and they were all living in a four storey building that are usually slum built for them one day, so Allah azza wa jal gives a police this authority and he comes back and he destroys this home. All the children have a tube crumble and all of them die instantly.

Police comes to you, Barney, he says, and says to him, You lost all of your money, all of your wealth, and now you've lost all of your children, all of your family is gone. Your prayer is not working for you. Your doors are not working for you, this Vicar is not working for you. And I want to pause here for a moment. When you look around this world today, what is happening with Muslims, and how we're always being pointed at and all of the problems and issues that we go through. It's very easy for one to think and saying that may be my Dora's. And my prayers are not answered, unfortunately. Alhamdulillah it is a minority but the point is, is that it does exist, where Muslims

they actually leave Islam because of this reason, because they would be making every single day Oh Allah cure us from the enemy or Oh Allah cure us from this huge problem. And they don't see an immediate response. So what do they do they leave Islam. This goes against the whole fundamental principle that we have in believing that Allah azza wa jal says, that He will answer us but never does Allah say in the poor and when he will answer you, Allah guarantees he will respond, but he never ever mentioned when and how he will respond. Because why we as Muslims, part of our faith is that we believe and we have that Amen, that Allah azza wa jal always knows best for us. And this is

why you see in sorbitol, Bukhara and Surah Nisa, Allah azza wa jal saying what I saw and Takahashi and wha hoo ha uralic Omarosa and to hibou Zhang Hua Hua Shan Hola, como la jolla, Allah into glatter lemon, Allah so it just says in the Quran, sometimes you think that something is good for you, but I have placed so much bad and evil in it. He does that so that you don't feel any pain? But look at the reality of this. Does a needle the size of like your arm, you know it's a huge needle. Does that actually look like something good into your into your eyes? No. But Allah has placed good in it. Because when your your mouth is numb, you don't feel any pain anymore. It's just like when a doctor says we need to amputate your arm because you have cancer.

In and of itself. It looks horrific. But when he amputate your arm that prevents the rest of your body from spreading with cancer.

Sir. So this way you can continue living a healthy life. So this is the whole reality. And this is what a you value Salaam has in his life already. So now he loses his wealth, he loses his family, what's his response to a believes? He says to a police, sometimes Allah gives. And sometimes Allah takes I will always have my trust with Allah as so agenda. And that is the attitude that every Muslim should have, especially in our times, especially when these cartoons are being pumped out. Especially when these videos are being pumped out, ridiculing and scrutinizing the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam just a side point. This is not the first time this has happened. This is

not the second time this has happened. This is not even the 100th time this has happened. This has been happening for centuries for decades, people generations will come and say the worst of the worst against our Rasulullah sallallahu arley he was sending them. But I want you to keep in mind

the same anger that I've mentioned to you in salt Baqarah Allah azza wa jal tells you sometimes you may think that something is terrible, but Allah may have placed great good in it. After 911 What happened to the Muslim world, it continued to grow by the 1000s. Every single day, until today, I met a dairy A long time ago, I don't want to mention his name. That's going to be the point that's going to be the thing that's going to turn his whole life around, take away his health, make him weak, make him sick, give him cancer, do whatever, destroy that. Now he won't have his money, he doesn't have his family and now he won't have his health. He is destined to be doomed. So Allah says, fine, I give you authority over his body over his health. Allah doesn't say I give you authority over his soul or

over his heart.

This is something completely separate. But Allah says I give you authority to make him weak, so it pleases happy. Finally, now he's got the the key goes back to you barleys salaam causes him to become so sick in a theater mentions a narration that I used was so sick, that there were only two things that were working in his body, his heart and his tongue. Everything else there was a problem with it. Every single thing there was afflicted with some kind of pain or disease. So he remained in bed, couldn't even walk couldn't move. still wants to be patient and he's still happy. So look what a police does next. Here's the fourth tactic it believes cannot if the shaitan cannot get through to you. starts to question him, he says to him, how long are you going to let this go on? Look at all the things that you've lost. How long are you going to allow this to continue? So are you Bali is Salaam? He looks at her? And he says, How long have I been healthy in my life? Meaning How long has he had the pinnacle of his strength and his health, the pinnacle when he was at his peak? So the wife responds and said, For about 17 to 20 years of your life, you have been the strongest? So I you bodyslam says How long have I been in the state that you see me in this very moment? She says to him, you have been like this for approximately seven years.

And a you responds and says, Well law, he I am ashamed of myself, that I will go back to a lot ask him to cure me. Because the amount of years that I am sick is nowhere close to the amount of years that I've been healthy. So I will stay and I will remain and be patient with this. And he actually got very upset at his wife and says from this day forward, I mean, it's all it's a pretty explicit Howdy, howdy there's mentioned and and we'll set up Mmm, I met and you said to her, I will never take anything from you after this date. don't serve me I'm not eating your food. home and, and she's just relaxing on the chair watching TV. It's like she's just sitting posing in front of a camera taking a picture. So you don't want that kind of a spouse you want this the spouse that will work with you that will support you. When you fall that spouse will fall down with you. When you get up that spouse will be there to get you up. When you fall they will be able to lend their arm and the same thing back and forth.

Guys, we see this right from the very beginning of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam you guys all know the story of Khadija Ile de la Juana. You guys all know the story when he gets the first revelation. Who does he run back to when he's when when Jubilee and Ali Hassan comes and squeezes him and says to him a crowd read and he says man, I'd be party and I can't read. I'm illiterate I can do this. And he gets scared from all of this. Who does he run to? doesn't want his aunt or his uncle or his friend or whoever he goes back to his wife. He goes back to his wife for comfort. This is why some of the scholars they say even our best he mentions that a and sorbitol buckroe an ally

so it just says whoa Nelly Best of luck on one to many Barcelona. She's a garment for you. You are a garment for her. Listen to the wording of the ayah. Allah starts off by saying she is a garment for you. Before he says that you are a garment for her. Allah addresses the woman first that she is a garment for us before we're the garment to her. Even our best says that we need them more than they need us. It's such a profound benefit that you get out of this idea that we need our wives for that kind of comfort and protection more than they needed from us. So you know, from this story here, you clearly see that you always want to have that spouse, that husband that wife that will protect you.

And the number one responsibility of a husband to his family and to his wife is protection. This is why Jacobo alayhis salam
