my beloved brothers, my sisters.

Healing the Ummah

is something that is a duty upon all of us. We know from the very beginning the OMA has faced a lot of challenges. This tour and this is the first lecture of this particular tour

is organized by Abdullah eight based in London.

And the theme given to eat is healing the ummah.

The idea is to be able to speak about what is it that is required in this ummah, in order for us to better not just ourselves but the Ummah at large.

In Allah, Allah you Voluma me come in, have you why you might be

What's happening to us in Africa, for example, or in some of the corners of the third world countries you might not even be aware of the challenges.

And from sometimes because of social media, we are made aware of challenges we didn't even know existed. The question is what are you going to do about it?

The first thing is

whether you like it or not, because I see many people get excited, all this is happening, they are burning the Quran, they are doing this and they start jumping and screaming and yelling and shouting, but Salatin Fajr they are not there Salah to door they are not there. The last time they have read the Quran was last Ramadan. And that too, was just two three pages before they gave up. They've never engaged in a car. They're not interested in anything to do with religion but mashallah Tabarrok, Allah Subhanallah the fact that someone did that should create an awakening within you to become a better Muslim.

I loved the response of one of the countries where they said, We undertake that for every Quran that is burnt, we will print 100,000 new neurons.

So if people see this, what would happen?

They would stop burning the Quran, because let me explain something about the burning of the Quran. Why would you burn a book? Why would you burn a book, if you were able to refute it, you had no need to burn it. If there was one issue that you could raise to negate something in it. You wouldn't be that frustrated, you would be excited, I found something. You can only choose to burn a book, when there is nothing wrong in the book and you are so frustrated and so upset that this there's nothing that you can do about it. So when you can do nothing intellectual, nothing academic. You've got no objection as such in terms of something that you can pick on. Then what do you do? You left with a

frustration those who perhaps hate on it might then choose to burn a book.

Isn't that a sign that the Quran is indeed the book in? Nothing known as Zelner? The Cara, we're in Allahu Allah half evil. Oh, Allah says We have revealed this Quran and we are the ones who will protect it, to the degree that anyone who takes it upon themselves to learn it off by heart and put it in the hearts We will protect that person also.

Would you like the protection of Allah? If the answer is yes, memorize the Quran.

Because Allah promises you He will protect the Quran. And if it's in your heart, it needs to be protected, it will be protected by Allah subhanho wa taala. So, if you would like to solve that matter, become a better Muslim. When I said this in the past, someone told me

that's not the proper answer we were looking for. We want to do something I said, Do you know what the simplest Ibadah is just to move your blanket off at the right time and you can't do that. And where are you screaming and shouting about so much more? Yes, I do know we are all emotional. We get emotional, we are hurt. It's natural to be hurt. It brings pain to us. But what service

Have you served the same Quran? Good question. Very good question.

How often do you read it? Do you know its meaning? Do you practice upon it? Subhanallah we are hurt Allah allows that to happen so that we can become better Muslims. Every time they tried to do something blasphemous against the Ummah, trust me the numbers of the Ummah have increased in their 1000s, if not 10s of 1000s.

May Allah Almighty protect us to

the Ummah is bleeding in so many places, there are people who are homeless, there are people who don't have the means for the next meal. There are people who don't have the clothing. There are people who don't have houses, there are people who don't know where they're going to sleep tonight, there are people running for their lives because of war zones created by men there are people running away from disaster that perhaps we would term natural disaster, but Allah knows best I tell you, if Allah wanted he did not need that to happen. But Allah wanted to test the rest of us. What are you going to do about this? That's all

a person in need coming in front of you? Who asks you for something today Mashallah. We have Abdullah aid.

If someone comes to you asking you for something,

and this is a very interesting point.

They are called a sir. Sir, it means a person asking in our language, we call it a bigger, a bigger, a bigger comes to you and they are putting their hand please give me I don't know how it happens here. But in my country and every traffic light they beg.

What does Allah say about that in surah Taha, which is Surah revealed in the early days of Islam?

Because in the Quran, Allah does not say give the one who asks, Allah says, Do not rebuke the one who asks, don't belittle him, Don't swear him, Don't mock him. Don't joke about him. Don't rebuke him you want to give or not to give. That's a separate issue.

Because Allah says we provide, you give, or you don't give, we are still going to provide for that man, one.

Only in

his conga, anything that moves on earth, Allah says it is upon us. We take it upon ourselves to provide for that particular thing that is moving no matter how big or small it is on earth.

Allah provides for creatures that you don't see with the naked eye. Forget about the end. Allah provides for the whales and the blue whale.

Allah provides for those whom we've never met, Allah provides for those whom we will never see. Allah provides for every animal, every bird, every fish, every insect everything Allah provides.

And you are man or worried about Allah providing for you or for another human being.

Meaning give up those habits. So when you have Allah Almighty is watching you, how much are you going to give? And that's why Islam is the only religion on earth where it is a pillar of faith. We have five pillars, right? One of the pillars is that if Allah has given you, you have to give others who don't have what you have.

It's a pillar. You're not a Muslim. If you think I can enjoy things myself, Norway's Allah says look for those who don't have what you have, and give them what is it called the pillar of Islam. Zakat we all know it may Allah make us from those who give beyond Zakah Zakah belongs to Allah not to you it belongs to its a pillar, you owe it to Allah the Father the Salah, you ought to Allah but you can continue becoming closer to Allah with your sunnah and you're nothing all that is mashallah extra. Pre Islam? Its wealth, its wealth. That's what it was considered to give it up is difficult.

Today Subhanallah what do we have? We have an opportunity always around us

to benefit those who are struggling. There are people around the globe who are struggling in so many ways. Firstly, make dua to Allah to

guide you to the correct causes because some of the causes are fraudulent, you know, fraud happens all over it happened from the beginning right to the end, and it will continue to happen.

So ask Allah to use your wealth in a good course, something beautiful.

The other day someone asked me a question about an imam in the masjid,

who was involved in major issues, major issues and they said, you know, I'm not comfortable, this particular person he drinks and he does this. How can I say are you sure? Are you sure?

If that is the case, you can raise the issue with the people who are running the masjid and tell them that you will not get more Sundays if you if you are unaware of this, please do something about it. I need to feel comfortable behind the Imam who's going to lead me right. I need to feel comfortable at least reasonably comfortable. They don't have to be spotless because all of us make mistakes. But at the same time if the man is openly involved in something that is absolutely unacceptable. It's I'm I'm justified in saying you know what, I prefer just going to the masjid next door.

But do you realize that when it comes to Zika and giving, we would love to give our wealth to a cause where the people who are the beneficiaries are going to be fulfilling Salah are going to be reading Quran going to be doing good things rather than I gave my zakat somewhere that guy used it to gamble. Allahu Akbar, what was the point? He used it to gamble he used or they used it in order to do something totally wrong to drink alcohol and consume it but that was the car we gave. So it's very tricky. You ask Allah Oh Allah this is hard earned you know that I've earned it through Halal means guide me to be able to give it in a good way, in a cause where I can benefit more than just

the wealth itself. May Allah Almighty accept it from us.

But to change what is going on in the Ummah, it starts off

by changing ourselves and the duty continues. That's not the only duty.

Each one of us has a different capacity some of us we have a smaller capacity, some might be politicians from amongst us, some might be people who have great clout and so on. Each one has to do whatever they are able to do in order to assist those who are struggling and suffering to help them heal based on his or her capability and capacity.

Like I said earlier, when it comes to wealth, someone might give 100,000 Mashallah good. Someone else might give 100 and someone else might give five pounds.

If the person's capacity was only 10 pounds, that's what they were worth because he was a young man who only had 10 pounds in his pocket. He gave you 50% of what he was worth.

Big percentage Mashallah.

Allah Almighty tells us do not scoff at those who give a small amount. They might be the borrower can the blessing in that one pound, don't laugh at the person take it.

And the one who might have given 100,000 might be having a billion for example, he did a very good deed, but percentage wise the other guy did more than him.

The five pounder did more than him. Because why? This man, this was loose change for him. You know, when you have a bank account, all of us, myself included, when you have money.

When you're young, you count every cent every penny, and you make sure I got 121 Agreed one pound 21 P. UK, that's how you count. You grow a little bit older, you count the pounds or five pounds, the peas stopped meaning much, right? You got a little bit older. Second, I got a few 100, right. Because it becomes you start looking at the figure and you ignore the last two but you look at the third digit because I'm a bit richer, wealthier Wallahi. This is a fact. When you grow bigger, you look at the third one. As you grow older. You look at the fourth one, the first one, ask yourself, which one do I really look at now, I promise you, when you get to the million, you will probably be

looking at that first one and two figures 1.2 You know, you forget about the others. It's okay. It's just the float. That's what it is. It's a fact that's how people work and operate. But it's Allah watching you to say you know what, as you grow older, the change can make a change. The change can make a change because your change becomes bigger and bigger. When you tip someone it shouldn't be bigger and bigger. Subhanallah unfortunately, the people who have more many times become more miserly, they are the ones who hold back much more.

But I'm talking about the general Halal laws that Allah grant us ease. But my brothers and sisters, as you are proud about

these things, remember something spin in the Cause of Allah, you have a vehicle that's going to take you from A to B, what about that screen, which is going to take you to Jannah all you have to do is look for those who don't have and empower them a little bit and a little bit. May Allah Almighty help us heal.

So today, we know many people have struggled because of a virus that bothered all of us.

It bothered all of us. Many of us lost loved ones. And many of us ourselves our health is never the same that meaning how it was before. And mashallah the bulk of us mashallah have survived it. And we thank Allah about it. But I tell you one thing, part of gratitude to Allah is to use your health before it is taken away from Allah. And one of the ways of being increased in good health is to help those who are unhealthy because when you help someone Allah helps you can Allah who founded Abu Dima can Allah

My beloved brothers, my sisters, Islam is based on mercy. Allah's Mercy dictate something amazing. Allah says we will weigh your deeds. If you have more good deeds than bad we will ignore the bad and let you go to Jana.

Mitchell Allah says I'm prepared to ignore for as long as you did more good than bad. How is that? Yeah Is Allah Almighty telling us

When we commit sin, we do it privately. No one must watch No one must see right. When we do good deeds, keep some of them private to

not everyone needs to know what you did.

Now sometimes I know I've been out a lot of places, helping people and assisting them.

Many countries in the world

it's very tricky because on one hand, you don't want to show the deed. But on the other hand, there are people who gave you an Amana. You need to prove to them in this world of deception.

In this world of thuggery and robbery and deception, that look we did do the deed. So very respectfully, if you were to capture something, in order to show the people who entrusted you with that Amana that listen, we've done this deed, it was executed on this day, here is the evidence, then there is nothing wrong. In fact, it's a good thing. Because you give them the opportunity to give more they feel like this was done let me do more now. We did the Masjid. Here are the pictures. We did this other card we did this, we did that here are the very respectfully very respectfully.

The only reason is we're living in an age of deception. I know of people

who may tell you something with a straight face, that's not accurate.

We need to do what is known as authentication when you hear things about others when you see things authenticated First, don't just jump. We're also living in an age of deception.

You see a video, you see a clip, you see something it could be totally doctored. It could be on another topic altogether. It couldn't be about something someone else it could be whatever, just verify it a little bit. It won't take you too long. Don't be too fast to jump to a conclusion there. May Allah Almighty strengthen us. So as we speak, there are people struggling with their health still, would you like good health will help them.

I give you an example. Just an example by way of example, because we are an ummah, you have the liberty to give your charities wherever you feel comfortable. Wherever Allah has put in my heart, I want to give it here, I want to do this I want to do that it's your liberty

is Allah puts in different hearts, different things.

And that's a good thing. Not everyone thinks the same. If we all had to then we would leave out so many people.

They are people right now requiring dialysis

and they can't afford it.

You and I know you have a kidney stone How does it feel Subhanallah you either know of someone who's had it or you know the symptoms or you might have had it may Allah grant cure to all those who are struggling with any health problems.

So for people to

share the concern and put up some of these dialysis machines in an area

where the poor do not have access to it. Wallah. It's a big thing

and imagine your name next to that

your name next to that.

So these are some of the causes if you know of do something even if it means a pound to

pounds. You know when there was a masjid being built in one of the areas. I told the brothers I said, you see, Allah says Mombasa Allahu masjid and been Allahu Allahu Beighton Phil Jana. Whoever builds a house for Allah Allah builds for them a house in Jannah in paradise. I might not have the money to build the whole house. Guess what? Guess what? Subhanallah even if I contributed towards it, I still have my own house in general.

I put one or two bricks you reckon Allah is gonna take a week or two and just give it to you in the afternoon? No ways.

Allah is the most generous, the most generous Allah is the Owner for as long as there was sincerity and this is what I can manage. Let me give it to this cause I can't really do the whole thing but at least I'll contribute towards it. Your name is in that building. You are in it already. You are a part of it. May Allah Almighty strengthen us. That's why when we use a masjid like today mashallah the masjid is full.

Someone's paid for your electricity you didn't pay

if you made someone paid for your water, you didn't pay Why should I allow someone to pay for me to come into the house of Allah to do Salah I'm going to put five pounds in that box before I leave today.

Because why I must pay for my own things here. I want to pay for my electricity. My slot I use someone's going to clean here. Their salary is paid. I was the beneficiary. I'm not a poor man.

I might not be a rich man but Alhamdulillah we are okay. My Salah which is my pillar, my connection with Allah, I'm going to pay for the use of the facility. That's how the masjid becomes better and better ask the people in the massage and they will tell you hardly anyone donates. I think in this country every Friday they people give generously so that's a good thing. But in some countries in some places they don't give

Are you not embarrassed that someone else had to pay for you to do Salah is it it's an embarrassment honestly. Some of the wealthy ones they don't give this a no no I'm not gonna I'm not gonna give my student has a lot of money. That's not your money. That's the thing. The people whose money it is have succeeded because when they spent in order for you to come to the masjid, they got the full reward of your Salah as well.

They got a full reward. Why does the Hadith say at Voila, Nasi Anna Kanuma Yama, Alma Athena, the most conspicuous people on the day of judgment are the Muslims. They will have the longest necks that means people see them from far away. There's more thing What other than another model? Did you know why?

The more admin calls the call for prayer for success. Anyone who comes to the masjid then gets a full reward. There were 1000 people that guy's got 1001 salary was because he was the one and other 1000 All his

If people knew the value of the first stuff and the value of the call to prayer, if they found no other way of doing it except by drawing lots they would have drawn the lots.

So we ask Allah Almighty to help us to guide us to open our doors to grant us the success of this world and the next, my brothers and sisters I want to mention a few pointers before I close

the first point

let us become better muslims so that the rest of the Ummah can also enjoy the fruits of the fact that we became better Muslims

become you know what Islam is we are Muslim in you know the pillars you know what is required of you, you know the do's and don'ts you know what you are doing that you're not supposed to be doing? Cut it, cut it today? What are you waiting for who who must come here to tell you then you will change.

Change today when the house of Allah, you know what you are not doing that you're supposed to be doing, be strong and started off today? Why not? The ummah will benefit from the fruits of the betterment of the entire ummah.

Another very interesting point. Cleanse your hearts, learn to love one another. We will always have differences in the Ummah, Allah created us that way the brothers don't see eye to eye that's normal. Allah created you that way. But the one with the bigger heart, the one who understands those who try to solve and resolve those who try to talk those who try their best. Given their capacity are the ones who are the winners.

We have too much of hate in the room, too much of hate. I remember going to a masjid where someone said you know what, can you please walk out of this Masjid? I said why? says you are going to Johanna mysensors want to read my acid no walk out.

I said Subhanallah I will. This is this house of Allah. You should be inviting even those who are non Muslim to at least listen to something about about Allah. You know why there's no one there everyone's actually out of the fold. Don't do that. Don't do that to the Ummah, do not reduce the numbers of the Ummah don't don't. People are weak, No, nobody's perfect, you have a difference you may want to discuss it. You may if it is within the scope of what Islam teaches, there is some form of evidence to prove it. It's okay. Let the people follow that hadith not this one. And he used to tell him every other day, how is the boy? How are you treating him? What's going on? So one day the son asks the Father, why are you so bothered about this particular boy? He says, And let me tell you, when I worked with his father, they treated me so badly that a day came when thy son needed to come and work by us. I don't want you to treat him in such a way that a day will come when your children will have to go and work for his children.

Treat him well. treat him with respect.

Today, we have people working for us number one, Muslims I'm talking of Muslims sorry because as a Muslim, I believe that I have the right to encourage Muslims to do the right thing. Don't many Muslims underpaid?

A man who fills his belly with a one pound meal, it still fills his belly. The other guy filled his belly with 100 pound meal

Yes, doesn't it happen? So sometimes you pay a lot You hardly ate it. Sometimes you can just pay a little bit you probably eat healthier. May Allah help us to reach out to those who don't even have food and give them

and may Allah Almighty help us here.
