Yeah you hola Nina amor de la Baku. Allah study the Rasul Allah, American oil filicudi Nova come, may you play la hora Sula, hufa d'affaires of Hosanna Lima.
I spoke two weeks ago, about the value of time. My dear brothers and sisters, Allah subhanho wa Taala allowed Adam and his wife, our mother Hawa
to get a taste of Jenna.
And then they were brought to this
planet. And they were given
which we spoke about last time, we spoke about timing, the importance of it and all of that. And in some some reports, they lived for more than 1000 years.
In the story of new Halley's Salaam, we are told that he lived
for 950 years.
And then ages and lifespan started to shrink.
What is the life expectancy or the average life span of a person nowadays?
Maybe here in America, we have something that is higher than the global average, right 7080.
And if you take out of that,
the days, or the months or the years we spend sleeping, because that's what they add up to be, right? If you sleep, the average amount of time that people sleep anywhere from six to eight hours or 10 hours, then that's one third of that person, the individual if a person lives 60 years, if we just take an example, when we say an individual live lives, 60 years as an adult, and they're responsible for 60 years before Allah subhanho wa Taala. We're not going to account the adolescent or the childhood of that individual. Out of that 60 years, 20 years were spent and asleep.
And then certain amount of years are spent consuming meals. And in some depending on where you live, right, a good portion of that time is also wasted on end freeways and getting stuck in traffic,
it will boil down to a very small number, at the end of the day, the amount of time that a person has to focus on what Allah subhanho wa Taala created them for.
If you add up the amount of time that we spend on a badger on our relationship with Allah subhanho wa Taala. And that is a primary reason a loss of power to Allah created us. When I had up to Jin, Leah Buddha,
it's really small, you add up all the five daily prayers with as soon as it's going to be one hour, maybe an hour and 15 minutes or 20 minutes. That's what we devote or dedicate to a loss of handle, what to add. And yet, no matter how long we live, life is very short. We have a very, very little time to do what it takes to make it to gender. Because that should be the focus of the believer a lot somehow that brought us to this to this to life and brought us to this world in this universe.
Not in order for us to settle here and find a comfortable life and make it and succeed here. No, because no matter how much you accumulate, and no matter no matter how successful you are, at the end of the day, it will either be taken away from you or you will leave it behind.
And everyone is going to go back to a loss of habitat of the day we were created. So we have a very short time here in this life. And that's why every single day every day is an opportunity to get closer to Allah subhanho wa Taala. And I'm not saying that we should not take care of our livelihood and we should not make sure that we have comfortable life.
Not at all right? But that should be dedicated for something that is greater. Allah subhanho wa Taala tells us in the Quran, that on the Day of Judgment,
man or human being human beings who did not focus on what Allah Subhana Allah intended for them in this life, what Allah wanted for them in this life, that that individual will say yeah, later on, he had them to the highest
What are you talking about? Yeah, let me add them to the hierarchy. Oh how I wish I had worked for my life. What do you mean he spent a lifetime and doing it working for that lifetime. But they will discover that that is not the real life. This is not the real life. Allah azza wa jal in the Quran says we're in La Jolla. Hello, hello and Hello, can we Allah, the real life, the true life, the most meaningful life, the most valuable life is the life of the Hereafter,
this life will come to an end.
So therefore, brothers and sisters, we have to take advantage of every day of every moment, as much as we can.
And the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam,
us in ways, whether it's like, the screen time that people have or an entertainment or, you know, watching the news, or even, you know, checking they're about what people spend their days or their time doing. And it's scary, like the amount of time that we waste, the amount of time the average person waste, whether it's like, the screen time that people have or an entertainment or you know, watching the news or even you know, checking their email.
