framework in which not only to exist but a framework in which how we can be successful in this world and the next.
So the Sharia is, the Quran is risk. the secret question which is rare, so is risk is not only one of five questions, all the five questions refer to risk.
Six matters that we have been dealing with and inshallah today we will do the final last two of them.
The first one is that all of this is pre ordained in terms of quantity and Allah subhanaw taala has taken its responsibility,
the responsibility of providing it on himself. That second one is that we have a choice only in terms of the sources that we choose to obtain it from and where we choose to spend it. Three that shaytan will try to frighten us with poverty why Allah subhanaw taala comforts us with his power shaitan has no power over the believer who seeks the protection of Allah number for that sustenance and risk both in its plenty as well as shortage, our tests and that's where we finished yesterday including

tick in case of difficulties with respect to risk and the last one inshallah today the reason why we still need to work and do the best we can while we live in the world now because it's obviously the this is an outcome of the first question If Allah subhanaw taala has taken the responsibility of risk on himself then why should I work?
And we will see inshallah the reason why it is still necessary for us to
engage ourselves gainfully in
honorable and useful things. Now important for us to remember is that enjoyment is only in passing, and only what is with Allah subhanaw taala is eternal. Allah reminded that I said for my Oh dear to me and Shane, from my terrible hair to dunya remind Allah He

But Allah subhana is very clearly saying, Allah saying, Do not train your eyes in longing for things. Don't keep on desiring material stuff. And don't keep on looking at this as Oh, I wish I had that car and I Oh, I wish I had a house like that and so on, so on. Allah says we have given for in Java to various groups of them, which is the policies and so on
the splendor of the life of this world, and that We may test them thereby. So let's say we've given it to them and as a test, but the provision the reward, the Everlasting reward of your rub is better and more lasting and that Aloka but we'll, we'll talk in the argument is only for the motorcade. The Sierra is the manifestation of the Quran.
The Sierra is the living
the living model of the Quran. And that's why I

Because if you look at all the difficulties that just this morning, somebody sent me an email saying, what were the ways in which the kurush opposed? Nabi sallallahu alayhi wa sallam? And how can these ways be compared to what is happening to Muslims today, and how Islam and Muslims are being opposed. And
I wrote an answer to that, and I posted it on the group as well, so you can read it. And I think I was able to identify 14 or 15 different ways in which the Quraysh and
allies proposed and oppressed and attacked Ross Rasulullah sallallahu Sallam as well as the sahaba.
So they did that. And they continue to do that, until after the Battle of Allah Huizar, the Battle of conduct, that whole opposition collapsed.
The whole opposition of the college and all their allies completely collapsed. So what we learn from this, in short, in one line is that opposition will happen, it will happen in many, many different ways. But those who persevere for the pleasure of Allah subhanaw taala, alone will, in the end, come out on top and they will in the end be successful and victorious.
Both of these things are equally true opposition will happen is true. And if you persevere, you will come out on top and you will be victorious is also equally true. The condition is perseverance and perseverance not for the name or fame, but perseverance only and only for the pleasure of Allah subhanaw taala. And that's very important. And that's the reason why we very important for us to read the Syrah
Allah subhanaw taala also mentioned
the issue of tests, and why tests happen and this is a this is the deal for why tests happen to people who are doing good, because we find two kinds of things we find that just come to people who are

And Allah subhanaw taala said and certainly we shall test you with something of fear and hunger and loss of wealth, loss of lives and loss of the fruits of labor, but give glad tidings and give Bashara to us Savarin, who, when afflicted with calamity, they say in Lillahi wa, ala Rajan truly to Allah subhanaw taala we belong and truly to him, we shall return. And they are these people, these are the people on whom are the Salawat the blessings and the grace of Allah subhanaw taala from the rub, and they are those who receive His mercy. And it is the who are the guided once SOL tests come to people who are obedient to Allah subhanaw taala in order to raise
their gods out with Allah, in order to elevate them, elevate their status and to make them to grow to make them clothed, bring them closer to Allah subhanaw taala. So the tests will come irrespective of whether or not you are
obedient, if you're obedient, also tests will come and if you're not obedient, also tests will come this whole life has been made for a test. And therefore Allah subhanaw taala continues to test.
So now, what to do if we have difficulties with risk? Now again, do understand the difficulty various is not only with regard to money and so on, for example, you're trying to memorize the Quran, and you find that you are having difficulties, what do you do that risk?
As I mentioned earlier, the Quran, so I'm trying to memorize the Quran, and I'm having difficulties. So what do I do
with regard to material things, of course, I don't think I have to give examples, we all have various kinds of material issues. So we can talk we can we can think about them. So what to do in terms of
difficulties with regard to risk.
First and foremost is to pray for and to try to achieve a state of contentment.
Contentment, be satisfied with what you have the biggest source of stress, and the biggest source of unhappiness is envy,
envy and jealousy, the only thing that we are permitted to be envious about these two things. Number one, we are permitted to be envious about somebody who knows more who has more knowledge of Islam than we have somebody who has more Quran in his heart, then we have somebody who has more understanding of this, then we have someone who has more knowledge of Islam than we have we are allowed to be envious about that in because that is a positive. And we are saying that y'all I wish I was like this, I wish I had I also knew as much Quran as so and so does.
You're not saying I wish that Quran which is in his heart will disappear. We are not saying that we are saying that I wish I had the same thing as if the second one is we are permitted to be envious about somebody who spends in the path of Allah subhanaw taala. And we are permitted to be envious to say I wish I could spend like that if I had, if I had money if I had resources, I wish I could give the way that person gives.
Other than that, to be envious of anyone is in Islam it is haram. To be to be jealous is haram. Allah's rather and Surah In Surah falak actually
actually taught us to ask his protection from the jealousy of those who are jealous
from the Hasidim and people of acid. So what is the solution for all this contentment Alhamdulillah bedarra mean whatever Allah subhanaw taala has given us is enough.
We don't ask for more if I if it comes with a lighter Alhamdulillah but we are not constantly anchoring and so on and so forth. And we definitely not looking at others and saying oh look at him and he has so much and she has almost no
And the way to be thankful the way to be content is to be thankful.
The route to contentment is by is through being thankful.

Recently, I was speaking at one of the big mothers here,

So the students do this as a matter of respect for the teachers. So I told them, one of the things that the teacher should be thankful for is that our students and mother is when they touched our shoes to turn them they do it with a different intention from how students in other schools and colleges, they also touch shoes
with respect to the teachers, but their intention is different, that you should at least, you know, thank Allah subhanaw taala that Allah has given us students are so obedient that when they touch the show,
is to honor you. The reason I'm saying is that we must thank Allah subhanaw taala for every single thing we have, and never take anything as small because the day it is not there, you will realize how important that so called small thing is.
So actually make a list.
Make a list of every single thing, make a list of the material, the things that you have, make a list of the circumstances of your life, the situation of your life, make a list of the friends you have, make a list of the kinds of family you have, and so on and so forth. And thank Allah subhanaw taala, one by one by one for all of this. And you will find that you will get a great deal of contentment and peace as a result of thanking Allah subhanaw taala how to be happy, be thankful.
Online. Second thing is very important, take pleasure in small things.
Because the reality of life is that small things happen many, many, many times, the big things happen only once or twice.
So now if you wait for a big event to happen,
then you find that those big events are few and far between.
They're not close by. So you are you have the opportunity to be thankful or to be happy maybe three times in your whole life.
Right? But if you are thankful for small things, there are hundreds of opportunities. Anytime you look at something, you do something you're walking somewhere, you're driving a nice car as you as you drive, you know swap things
never take anything for granted. Don't think that it's your right it's not your right somebody's wild that you it's not your right if somebody says alive, it's not your right.
Right. It is his duty to say salam it's not your right that he should say Salam to you.

So when you say when you sneeze is Alhamdulillah
and whoever hears you should say Allah
