This is the truth. The root cause of all our problems today as Muslims, is the fact that we forgot the purpose for which Allah subhanaw taala centers. we forgot that purpose. And we got involved, like everybody else in the dunya in correcting in chasing money, and chasing this and that, and that is the result. And that is the reason why we are facing what we are facing.

I've done a lot of work with life goal planning with Muslims in many countries.

Everywhere asked the same question, why do you exist? What is your purpose?

The tragedy is that I have never ever heard anyone say, I exist to invite people towards Allah.

I don't even care if he doesn't do it.

But nobody even says it.

My question is, if we don't even say it, what hope is there that we do it.

And that is why our data is so weak. Because for us, it is at best, a weekend exercise. And that to not every weekend.

To give you an example, some of us like fishing, and we go fishing. And after spending all day on the lake or the ocean. We catch our fish in big way.

Before we go home. Did you ever wonder how there are other people who make a very good living catching fish? It is because we do it twice a year on a long weekend. While they do it every day. To become good at anything. We need to make it the predominant activity of our lives.

You have absolute belief and certainty in the power of money to solve our problems in life. And so our entire life is geared to earning money, accumulating money, and relying on money.

Most of us, who do the work of Islam also rely on our accumulated wealth, our financial acumen, and on investments to do our work all about you, and may Allah grant you and accept your work. And my question is, what did the Gambia rely on?

Anyone who thinks and says that Islam is not the only way has denied the Quran.
