the children complain about serving the parents.

The children sometimes don't serve the parents. And to make matters worse, sometimes the children are actually bad to the parents and not only do they not serve them, but they treat them without respect and they treat them without the deference that is there view as a matter of divine consent Allah subhanaw taala

if you respect your father or your mother, you're not doing them any favor. They deserve that respect Allah has given it to them.
