last week, we continued on the story of the Battle of Vader.
The greatest battle that ever took place in the history of Islam. And so we spoke about
how the battle started.
And how it progressed, how it ensued.
We mentioned the help that Allah subhanahu Attallah sent
from the heavens, or angels. We mentioned how shaytaan betrayed his allies, in runaway.
We looked at some of the heroic scenes from the battle.
And then we spoke about how the battle ended with the victory of the Muslims.
Now after the victory was clearly for the Muslims
Quraishi Quraish Whoever among them survived,
started to withdraw. And so they fled back to Mecca.
Leaving behind they're injured.
With some of them falling captives in the hands of the Muslims
leaving behind their armor, their weaponry to be spoils of war and booty in the hands of the Muslims.
Now last week,
we mentioned the story of
how
the enemy of Allah Abuja Hill was taken down
how he was taken down by two young
men from the unsought
later on after the battle, Rasul Allah He sallallahu alayhi wa sallam asked he wanted to know
he was interested in knowing what happened to Abuja.
And so he asked the Companions
who can find out for me what happened to Abu Jahan?
So Abdullah bin Mr. ruderal, the Allahu Anhu he says.

out on the battlefield and

that the man who was lying down in front of me was

And so even though Abuja Hill is now in his final moments,

In another narration, it says that I'm delighted when Mr. ruderal the Allahu Anhu said that Abuja Hill was laying down on the ground, holding a fine sword, protecting himself
while I had a poor sword, a cheap sword.
And so he says, I struck his arm. So his sword fell, and then I carried his sword.
Then I sat on his chest, to see
over his head.
And when I was sitting on his chest, he said Abuja, Hill said, you have climbed a very high please
for having just been a shepherd
and so once again look at how he's irrigants arrogance his pride is coming out even in his final moments, and how he's trying to

he was me who is going to present the head of Abuja to the Prophet sallallahu Hakim? Listen, I'm delighted. Mr. Root says, I came to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. And I said, O Messenger of Allah. This is the head of the enemy of Allah.
Rasool Allah He sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said,
our la la de la ilaha illa. Who is it really?
By Allah? Is it really the one who there is no other God besides him? Is it really his head? Abdullah infamous rude said yes.
Then he dropped the head of Abuja hill in front of Rasulullah sallallahu. I use it in the narration of Imam Ahmed in the Muslims of Imam Ahmed. The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam looked at him Abuja Hill and said,
Allah has disgraced you or enemy of Allah.
And he said this man was the fifth round of his people.
And every owner, every nation has a fifth round
and the fifth round of our Ummah is Abuja.
So this was the end
of that tyrant
and the enemy of Allah Abuja Hill
who did what he did,
against rasool Allah He sallallahu alayhi wa sallam Maccha
to the Muslims,
the week among them,
who did everything that he could, who did everything that he could to try to put out the light of Allah, this was his end.
We can also mention the fate of another prominent leader of Quraysh
who is also known
for persecuting the Muslims in Mecca.
And that is Omiya even Calif.
We mentioned last week that in the Battle of Ventura dish chiefs, and the leaders of courage were slain.
So we have the likes of Abuja, who and who may yet even
Abdullah ibn was ruderal, the Allahu Anhu unit rates and this hadith in Sahih al Bukhari
he says that
sad.
Even Wilde,
who has sadly been what
we've mentioned his name several times already.
Sad even more, it was one of the leaders of the unsought.
He was from Medina
but he was a friend of Omiya in ill health

And so Abuja has said, speaking to sad, he said, I see that you are wandering the adult safely here in Mecca.
While you have given shelter,
to the people who have abandoned our religion,
and have claimed that you will help them and you will support them,
by God, if you are not in the company of Abu Safwan, meaning who Mejia
then you will not be able to go back to your family safely. He was threatening him.
That if it wasn't for your friend, Mayor, I would have killed you by now.
So sad are the Allahu hang he raised his voice. And he said to Abuja hell, by Allah, if you try to stop me, I will prevent you from something which is more valuable for you. And that is your passage through El Medina.
Meaning that Qureshi would travel
for their trade
to Syria to a sham, and they would pass and muddy
and so sadly been wild was threatening him saying, if you try to hurt me, if you try to do something to me, then I will make sure that your caravans don't pass safely by us.
Omiya was standing watching what was happening, he said to Syed Ozar, Do not raise your voice before Abu Hakim and will help them is Abuja.
He is the chief of this valley, meaning Mecca.
Then said Radi Allahu Allah and he said, Oh my Yeah, stop that. By Allah. I have heard the Messenger of Allah, I'm predicting
that the Muslims are going to kill you.
So omega,
he started to become concerned now.
He said in Mecca.
Side says I don't know.
But now Mejia
was afraid.
When Omiya went back to his family that day.
He went to his wife and he said, Oh, I'm sorry, one.
Do you know what sad told me?
She said, What has he told you?
He said, he claims that Mohammed has informed them, that they will kill us. I asked him in Mecca. He said he doesn't know.
Then Mejia said to his wife,
by God, I will never leave my camp.
And so even though we may yet even have enough, was a coffee or a machine.
And he was one of the leaders of crush.
He still believe Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.
He was afraid.
Why? Because deep down inside, they knew that he was the messenger of Allah. They had seen the signs, the miracles, the proofs,
one after the other.
But what was it that prevented them from accepting Islam? Their kibble, your arrogance

And so this shows that deep down inside their hearts, they knew that Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wasallam was truthful in whatever he says, and that whatever you predict it's going to happen. So now, he was afraid for his life.

when the call came to respond to the Battle of better

When Abu Sufian sent the message to Quraysh that look, our caravan is under threat.
And so they all started to mobilize and they got their army ready to march out.
And the one who was motivating them pushing them to leave was Abuja.
As you're all getting ready
Omiya had been cut off he didn't want to go because he made a promise he's not going to leave.
And so now Abuja Hill comes to him
he hears that he's hesitant and he doesn't want to go.
So he brings him a Mahara.

However, and so maybe now he goes back to his family, he starts preparing for
the journey.
And his wife says to him, Have you forgotten what your friend from Medina told you?

And so omega said, No, I haven't forgotten.
However, I'm just gonna go out with them.
And then
somewhere along the way, I'm going to come back.
And so
they left and whenever the army of Polish would stop on their way, who Mejia would make the intention that this is his last stop.
But this kept on happening until
they reach better and the battle starts.
And so Omiya in color
ends up in better
so now
what ends up happening to omega in the Caliph
he wasn't killed in the battle.
But instead he was captured as a prisoner of war

Later on, he can free himself by paying for his freedom. And that would bring the runner up now for a lot of money.
So under a man even Alpha said that he threw the armor that he was collecting in his hands, he threw it away. And he grabbed a hold of it will Mejia and his son ID.
So now we'll Mejia even color and his son Ali were prisoners of war captured by the runner up now. So this was a good deal for from the runner up now, because he would get a good ransom.
However,
the plan of Abdurahman suddenly changed
because

But the unsalted killed the sun, and instead of just, you know, sufficing with that, they insisted on following on the run and omega. Now, omega even hello if he was a fat man.
And when they approached him,
I'm the runner and even if he couldn't run with him, because he couldn't keep up with him.
So he told me you had to fall down on the ground.
And I will get on top of you to protect you.
And so he did that. But
it wasn't enough the unsought came. And they attacked me from underneath with their swords and their spears until they killed him. And so this is how
this leader of Quraysh was killed.

And so after that Abdurrahman he left with nothing. First, he had booty, spoils of war, the armor, he threw them away to get something more precious. And he even lost that.
And so this is
the story of how media even kind of
was killed. And so now we have
the bodies of Quraysh.
lying there on the battlefield,
while the remaining army, as we mentioned,
fled back to Mecca.
We mentioned previously, the number of the army of Quraysh was 1070 of them were killed. 70 of them were taken as prisoners of war. So what does that mean?
The vast majority ended up surviving and returning back to Mecca.
But they left behind,
they're dead.
And they left behind all of this armor and weapons in the spoils of war.
That's where the spoils of war, those are not him. It was taken by the Muslims.
The captives were also taken by the Muslims. We're going to talk about
what was done with these two things with the spoils of war. And the characters. We're going to talk about that next week in sha Allah. But now, what to do with these dead bodies,
something needed to be done.
Ns ibn Malik Ravi allong he says, Rasul Allah, He sallallahu alayhi wa sallam ordered on the day of burger
that 24 of the chiefs of Quraysh be thrown into one of the old dirty dry wells of better.
So this is where their bodies were disposed off
as a sign of humiliation for them. They don't deserve to be buried like any other human being
asked for omega because if
it's mentioned that his body was not thrown there,
because his body swelled up in his armor,
filling it up. And so when they tried to take his body out from the armor, they couldn't do it. And so his body parts ended up becoming detached. And so it was useless
So they just left him there and covered him with stones entered

who is also one of the leaders of Quraysh and we mentioned last week
what happened to him?
So he died in the duel
right at the beginning before the battle even started when there was a one on one conduct
and so are today in Arabiya when they were pulling his body to take him and throw him in the well.
His son was watching
and his son was one of the Muslims.
Rebel Khalifa will be Allah
rasool Allah He sallallahu alayhi wa sallam who looks into the face of Abu Khalifa. And he saw that his face had changed.
And he was extremely sad.
So he asked Abu Khalifa,
if he was upset
at his father's fate
are you upset because
he died.
And so, today for the long run, he responded back.
I swear Oh Messenger of Allah, I have no problem with my father's fate.
But I once knew him as a man of reason.
And judgment,
and goodness.
And I hope that these qualities would lead him to Islam.
When I saw what his fate was, and how he died on this day, as a Catholic, despite my hopes for him,
I was saddened
and so after that Rasul Allah He sort of walked me through and for people who didn't follow the Allahu Allah
and so Rasul Allah, He sallallahu alayhi wa sallam ordered for these bodies to be thrown into this well.
It's known as El Calib collibra better.
What happened after that?
Abu Talha Radi Allahu Akbar rates.
And this is in Sahil Buhari.
There on the day of brother, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam ordered that the corpse, the corpses, the bodies of the 24 liters of Quraysh should be thrown into one of the
old dirty dry wells a better. And then he said,
it was a habit of Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wasallam that whenever he was victorious in a battle,
he would stay at the battlefield for three nights.
And so this is what he did.
He stayed at the door for the next three days and three nights.
And then on the third day,
he ordered that his camel be saddled.
He said, That's it,
we're ready to go. And then he said out and his companions followed him.
But then he stopped.
He stopped at the tip of the well.
At the edge of the well.
And he started to speak.
He started to address
the bodies of Quraysh.
One by one,
naming them by their names, saying
oh so and so. son of so and so. Also, and so son of so and so, mentioning them, one after the other. And then he sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said
would have pleased you
if you had only obeyed Allah and His messenger.
Indeed, we have found through what Our Lord has promised us. Have you to found true what your Lord has promised you.
So, Mr. Rhodiola when he was there?
He said, Yeah rasool Allah.
You are speaking to bodies that have no souls. They're dead. They can't hear you.
So the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, by him in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, you do not hear what I say better than they do.
Except that they are not able to reply to me with anything. Meaning or Omar
Whatever I'm seeing, you can hear.
They can equally hear it. But they just don't have the ability to respond. Qatada, he says, Allah brought them to life again,
only to let them hear.
Only to let them hear him Salah Allahu Allahu Alem, to reprimand them, to humiliate them,
to take revenge against them.
And to cause them to feel remorseful and regretful, so Allah subhanahu Allah made their bodies to listen,
just to add to their anguish and their punishment.
So we know what happened to the bodies of the machete cool.
How about
the Muslims who died on that day?
We mentioned
that there were 14 shahada from the Muslim side.
The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam buried them on the battlefield, where they die.
And so this was done
without
washing their bodies,
without changing their clothes, and giving them shrouds and a toughen.
It was done without any janazah without any Salah without any dua.
Why?
Because they don't need any of that.
And so the status of the Shahid is so high
that
you don't need to do any of that. The reason why we
give every Muslim a proper funeral or proper janazah we wash their bodies. We then go to the masjid we pray there Janessa we try to have as many Muslims come. The reason for all of that
is because
that person is in need of our TA.
He's in need of all of this because of what he's going to face in the grave.
But actually, he doesn't need any of that.
His status is so high that he's going straight to Jenna.
And so we previously mentioned that we had 14, shahada
six from among the Maharaja rune
and eight from the unsought.
Let's quickly mention some glimpses of how the shahada,
they attained
martyrdom on that day.
We have had it that even Surakarta, the Allahu Allah.
You he was one of the unsought who was shot by a stray arrow.
And so he was killed by what we can call friendly fire.
And as are the ones who have narrates and Sahil Buhari,
that Haritha was killed in Berger while he was young.
When the battle was over,
his mother came to Rasul Allah, He sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.
She wanted to know what happened to her son. He was young.
And so
she heard that he had passed away. She said, Yeah, rasool Allah. You know how dear hadith is to me.
If he's in Jannah,
then I will remain patient, and I will hope for Allah's reward for him.
But if that is not the case,
then you shall see what I will do. Meaning she's going to Well she's going to cry.
She's going to lose her patients.
She wants to know,
where and how did the is.
So the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said,
he said, may Allah have mercy upon you.
Have you lost your senses?
Do you think there is only one Jana?
You're asking Has he made it to Jana.
It's not one Jana.
But rather, it is Gina and
there are many gardens many paradises and your son is in the upper most genital Fritos.
So this was Haritha

When the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam set out for the battle better.
Both sides had been heightened, and his father, Hytner

from the same household.
He said, No, only one of you shall go.
And so to decide who is going to go, you should cast lots

Since only one of us can go out for this battle, I advise you to stay at home with the women to protect them to guard them.
So we'll look at the reply of the sun.
Sad or the long run, he says,
Had this been a matter related to something other than gender?
Then I would surely have given preference to your request.
But I myself want Shahada. I want to be killed as a Shaheed just like you.
And so
when he said this,
they cast their lats.
And it came out in the favor of the son sad or the alarm. And so he went out for a battle.
And he was eventually martyred. As for the father height, and
then he later on participated in the Battle of ocean where he was killed as a shaheed.
And then we have a roommate in Obi Wan, cos
he was one of the younger companions.
And he accepted Islam in the early days. So he was from Mecca, he was one of them who had euro
and he was the brother of
sad ibn Abi Waqqas, the famous companion
who was known for his
military tactics and his Jihad he later on, became a famous military general, even after the death of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam
said he'd been at war courses. At the time when we were preparing for the battle a battle. I noticed
my younger brother who made trying to somehow hide himself.
And so this surprise me.
I said to him, what has happened to you? What makes you to hide like this?
And so he said, although I want to go
and I want to be killed as a Shaheed in the path of Allah. I am afraid that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam may stop me from going out because of my young age.
We previously mentioned when we spoke about the beginning of the battle, when the Muslims were setting out that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam,
he returned several companions because of their young age.
So Romania will be a Walkman. He was afraid of this.
And so his fear proved true.
When the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam eventually spotted him,
he stopped him from going with the army
and told me that he couldn't bear it. In so he began to cry.
When the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was told about his disappointment.
He felt sorry for him. And so he led him to go with them.
And so homemade ibn Abi Waqqas fought in the Battle of better until he was murdered,
said his elder brother said the sort of homemade was too big for him.
I had to put a number of knots in the belt, so that it might not touch the ground.
So these are some
above
the Shahadat have better. We also previously mentioned
a few others, such as
well, maybe
he was the one who when the Prophet salallahu alayhi wa sallam in the beginning of the battle, stood in front of the army. And he started to inspire them to motivate them to fight.
And he said stay

that is as wide as the heavens and the earth. We're who made a beautiful man.
He asked the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam Is it really that wide?
And so
when he heard that,
he
and he asked the Prophet SAW Selim that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said yes. So he had some dates in his hand. He threw them. He said, If I continue to eat these dates, it's going to be a very long life. And then he charged and he fought until he was killed. That was a major event.
We also mentioned who rubedo

He was the first casualty of the war. For the Muslim side. He was the one who entered the duel.
The one on one combat.

And so we have several lessons that we can learn from the aftermath of the battle. What we have discussed today, the first lesson that we learned
is
that in this battle, and how
these chiefs and leaders of Quraysh were killed, is a lesson for every tyrant for every oppressor, who is deluded, deceived
by His power and His might, or pressing the weak
and the downtrodden.
Thinking that they can easily get away with it.
Their end will be similar to the end of Abuja and omega in Calif
their end will be an end, in humiliation.
And at the hands of those same people who they used to oppress and used to persecute.
This is the Sunnah of Allah subhanho wa Taala in his creation
and there are so many examples of this not only from the battle of better
but even before that,

It was our will to favor those who were oppressed in the land, making them leaders as well as successors, so they were oppressed.
But there will come a day
when they will be victorious over their oppressors.
The second lesson that we learn
is the wisdom of Allah in delaying punishing his enemies.
Sometimes we wonder
look at these tyrants and these oppressors look at what they're doing to the Muslims.
Look at their atrocities, their massacres.
Why does it ALLAH SubhanA junta, how to punish them.
And so, even cathedra he comments on the death of Abuja. He says,

Notice here What is Allah say, Allah will punish them through your hands. Allah could have punished them directly.
But Allah wants us to be the ones punishing them.
Allah says,
and Allah will punish them at your hands, put them to shame, and help you to defeat them. And soon, the hearts of the believers.
There's a burning rage that we have in our hearts against what we see.
Allah wants
to soothe our hearts and this rage in our hearts when we see the end of these oppressors and these tyrants at our hands. And then Allah subhanho wa Taala says,
Well, you're the hip or your vocal will be him.

Because, as we know, the Muslims were tortured in Mecca, they were persecuted for a very long time. So Allah subhanho data is saying that it will soon hold

And so sometimes when we don't understand why Allah subhanaw taala delays,
the punishment of the tyrants, we have to understand that there is a reason behind it. And there is a wisdom in it, even if we don't understand it, even if we don't see it today. And again, this is not something that only happened on that day. But it is a Sunnah of Allah. And we see it in every day and age, even until this very day.
The third lesson that we learn
is proof of late after death.
Part of our iman, which is the foundation of our Eman after belief in Allah is belief in life after death.
The fact that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam spoke to the dead bodies of courage
and how Romo Viola who objected? And how the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam replied back to him, saying that, they definitely hear him just like you can hear me.
All of this shows us that the life of the bursa is a real life and that the dead they can hear us. But they cannot talk they cannot reply back to us.
Does it mean their life is like our life in the dunya? No.
But does it mean it's not a real life? No.
Their life is a different kind of life.
And it is a real life.

This refers to their punishment in the grave. And the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam told us that a Shaheed he saw enters gender
after he departs from this dunya
and he wanders around in in Jannah.
His soul is in green birds wandering around in general.
And so the point is
that life after death is real, but it is different than the life of this dunya and
people will be receiving what they deserved.
The people of the Hellfire will receive their punishment in their graves while the shahada and the people of genuine will start receiving their reward
in their graves.
The fourth lesson that we learned
is that the issue of guidance and he Daya is in the hands of Allah alone, nobody can control it.

In this battle, the battle of better
and this is one example
While he was not as sad
of where his father was going, but he was sad,
that his good judgment his reason did not lead him to Islam.
And this was also the case with who

He was intelligent he had,
you know, he had intelligence, he would use wisdom. In fact, he took it a step further and he protected the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam until the day he died,

He became Muslim.
And no one ever expected that he would become a Muslim.

Meaning they never imagined that someone like him would accept Islam.
But not only did he become a Muslim, but he became one of the best muscles.
You also have other examples.

And it is not our job to judge and to ask an object, why does Allah guide so and so? And why does he not guide so so
we have to do our part.

But in the end,
we have to leave it in the hands of Allah subhanho wa taala.
The fifth and final lesson that we can mention here is the desire
to fight and to be killed in the path of Allah to attain martyrdom, or shahada
to become a Shaheed
and to desire it. This was clear in the words and in the actions of those who died as Shahadat
in this battle, and we mentioned examples of that.
And so their desire for it.
The reason was only one thing and that was their email, the strength of their email.
Why is it that they had that desire and they put their lives on the line the way they did? And they wanted?
They wanted
to be killed for Allah subhanho wa Taala while many of us today we don't have that desire to answer is very simple.
And that is that their Iman is not the same as ours.
Allah subhana wa Tada.
Later on, he addresses the believers. This is years after the Battle of Beto
in one of the last battles
and that was a battle of two book.
Now you have many Muslims who have become Muslim.
And many of them their Eman was weak.
And among them were the mafia goon, the hypocrites.
So you had Muslims whose Iman was weak, and they were lazy. And they didn't really want to go out for this battle.

and to fight for his cause. And for his deen and
to sacrifice our lives for his cause. And for him.
This is the reason because we're attached to our dunya and we don't want to give it up.
And so
these examples that we mentioned, of those companions, who gave their lives in the battle better,
and how easy it was for them to do so. They did not hesitate.
They rushed forward.
And they competed with one another.
For that, until they got it.
It was for no other reason than because of their height,
the strength of their email, their email and in Allah and the Promise of Allah
and their Eman
in the Promise of Allah, the reward of the accurate and that being genuine, this is what pushed them
and only this. So we ask Allah subhanahu wa Tada to increase our iman and to make us to be from among those believers.
