My brothers and sisters today is this second day of well, and hamdulillah we know that throughout the month of Ramadan, we gave it all that we've got to Allah subhanho wa Taala and when the month of Ramadan comes to an end or nears its end we feel sometimes bittersweet. We're happy that we may be able to go back to a little bit of a normal schedule, while at the same time we feel that Ramadan is going and the blessings are disappearing.

Well my brothers and sisters, the blessings of Allah subhanho wa Taala do not end when the month of Ramadan ends and the forgiveness of Allah subhanho wa Taala does not end when the month of Ramadan ends and the Baraka that comes from Allah Subhana Allah does not end when the month of Ramadan ends the ability to sacrifice from our time and our health and our energy and our wealth and our family and in every aspect of life that we you know attribute to Allah subhana wa tada or give to Allah subhana wa tada we are able to make those sacrifices throughout and I'm hold on as well as after the blessed month of Ramadan.

My brothers and sisters, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam teaches us mn sama Ramadan and Eamon and the server.

What do we learn from this we learned that the blessings of Allah subhanho wa Taala don't end we learn that the goodness that comes from Allah subhanho wa Taala doesn't end we learned that the happiness and joy and you know those very high moments of emotion that we got throughout the month of Ramadan, they don't end and if we are to simply fast for six days after the month of Ramadan, some time throughout that month of Sowell, you can fast two days every week, right for three weeks, just fast two days. A lot of us especially now in 2021, when we see other people going through times of happiness when we see other people enjoying themselves going on vacation, eating out spending money, living life to the fullest of what may or may not be true online or

Write, there are many from amongst us as human beings who feel sad, who feel that that is their test that other people are happy. How is it that I'm not happy? Other people are going through times of joy? Why is it that I'm not feeling joyous right now. But my brothers and sisters, remember

Allah subhanho wa Taala, Allah will give us an abundant amount of good deeds for this simple little things that we do in his pleasure throughout our lives. And for the sins that we commit, one sin, one bad deed, one sin, one bad deed. You see Allah subhanho wa Taala doesn't expect us to turn to him only in the month of Ramadan. And that would be the mistake that many of us make. And we see a beautiful, beautiful example right here in our community of someone who gave to Allah subhanho wa Taala through times of happiness, and through times of hardship and difficulty. Some of you may have noticed my post earlier this morning, about our dem

you boy at the age of 13, who lived with us for just 13 years but left a legacy behind and this morning, returned to Allah subhana wa, what's

About two years ago, Abdullah was diagnosed with, you know, medical condition. And at the time it was, it was very alarming for the family. But you know, a time of optimism, a time to think that you know what Alhamdulillah Allah subhanho wa Taala is testing him. But he'll get through this and sha Allah to Allah. And to be honest, I will say this now, though he passed away in return to Allah subhanho wa Taala. This morning, I do believe that he's gotten through it. I believe that he's gotten through this. And we'll see how Allah subhanaw taala shows his blessings and mercy

along the way, in a person's journey, a couple of years ago, at the age of what 11 years old,

being told that you have a certain medical condition that requires hospitalization that requires there's treatment that required, you know, radiation therapy, chemotherapy that required surgery, Allah subhanho wa Taala

you know, strengthen that family and strengthened that boy, boy, to be able to go through this. And I remember when he was first admitted into the hospital and went to visit him in Hamilton in the hospital, and Subhanallah I get to the hospital room, he was so happy, he was so calm. He was so patient, you know, he was in the hospital bed, and one of the tutors or teachers came and was you know, teaching him some math, I believe he was doing some math. And you know, he was he was still learning, still learning even though he was admitted in the hospital. And then somehow Allah He

left, or sorry, that that tutor left, right. And I was sitting talking to him, and he was saying he's like, I prefer reading Quran instead of doing math. Right? I prefer doing my Quran and memorizing Quran. And I said, You know what, you could do it, you know, keep doing it. put your mind to it. You're in a position right now where Allah subhanaw taala is blessing you more than he's blessing us. Because when we look at it, the door of someone who's going through hardship the door house and who's sick is a door how that is accepted from Allah subhanho wa Taala. So we told them big draw for it, make dua for it and make dua for us. This is something I always share with patients

right? Make do or how for us, because patients when they're in the hospital, they always feel, you know, please make sure how for me to feel like they're there if they're in a condition where they need help from everyone. But really, when we look at it, this spiritual strength of the people that are in the hospital is at times, much stronger than ours is because we are going through happiness and joy and ease and things seem perfectly fine in our lives. And so

I left that day.

thinking to myself, here's a boy whose father tells me he still wants to continue memorizing the Quran.

Despite going through surgeries despite you know, having to

Learn how to walk all over again. Right despite a part of his leg being affected and so on.

Fast forward my brothers and sisters, he goes through a couple years of treatment a few months ago, his father comes and sees me and says Alhamdulillah Abdullah alim has completed memorizing the Quran, Allahu Akbar,

Allah.

He's completed memorizing the Quran while going through chemotherapy, while going through radiation therapy while going through surgeries while taking lots of medication while being hospitalized constantly while going through physio therapy. Well, you know, rehabilitation, all of these different things he still managed to memorize the Quran at a ripe young age of 1213 years old. Allahu Akbar half of Abdul Alim half of the Quran, Allah Subhana, which Allah says, in an afternoon as in Nicaragua in

June, Allah subhanho wa Taala tells us that he's the one who sends down the Quran, right? Allah subhanho wa Taala sent it down to him through Angel Djibouti to Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam to us and Allah subhanho wa Taala preserves the Quran. He is the one who takes care of it. And he puts it in the hearts of the people who he chooses, the people who he feels are deserving of this grant.

How many of us have tried to memorize the Quran? How many of us have attempted how many of us have wished how many of us have made do our our to Allah, Allah make it easy for me to memorize the Quran, how many people have raised their hands and asked Allah, Allah make me a half of make me a half of of the Quran, how many people strive day and night but still never achieve that goal of memorizing the entire Quran.

Yet for some Allah Subhana Allah makes it so easy. It just comes naturally. So simply. And they memorize it, and they retain it and they keep it and they enjoy it.

And then brother outift, comes and sees me

and tells me that half of the law team is not doing so well.

That it seems as though the doctors

don't really have much choice right now. There's not much more that they can do.

And we're continuing hamdulillah he was very positive, very optimistic. We're continuing to seek alternative, you know, medicine, treatments, you know,

homeopathic whatever natural herbs whatever Allah subhanaw taala is provided to us on Earth.

But he said at the end of the day, it is Allah Subhana Allah who takes care of it. Ultimately, you know, they can try all of the different remedies and all the different types of cures and medicines of this world. But if Allah Subhana Allah doesn't want to put cure in that for that person. He won't. Why? Some of us will ask why. Why does Allah put cure? Don't ask why? Don't ask why? Because ultimately, every single one of us will end have to return to Allah subhana wa Tada. And when you think back of the time of Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam this morning, Abdullah haleem went through something more how much longer and he was sending him went through that you and I have yet

to experience he experienced something that led some Allah Allah He was an experience that we have yet to experience. He experienced the taste of death.

Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam went through it as well.

And so my brothers and sisters, the plan of Allah subhanaw taala is that we will not live this world forever.

In Academy to what in

my view,

every single one of us will return to a law. So as much as we feel saddened by the return of our young boy, our you know community member who taught us to be strong, be brave, who would come to the masjid with a cane in his hand with crutches sometimes sitting on the chair, praying with us,

showing us the strength that is needed as Muslims as believers to turn to Allah subhanho wa Taala you don't need to be 80 years old to leave a legacy my brothers and sisters, Allah Subhana which Allah chooses some people to show the entire world that you can do it and in just a short

amount of time in his life. He proved so many lessons to us. Allah proves so many Lewis in the life of Abdullah Ali.

We move on. His father tells me it's not looking so good. taking some time off of work

just to spend at home with the family and look after Abdullah name and you know the children and my wife, his wife and so on.

And it's hard. It's hard for a parent to know that your child who's just 13 years old, may leave you because it feels like yesterday that you were holding them in your hands. feels like yesterday you pick them up out of the backseat of the car and carry them into their into their room coming home late from an read celebration A few years ago, where you carry them up and you came home after midnight and you put them in their bed. It feels like yesterday when you change the diapers on them. It feels like yesterday when you had to warm up the milk in the bottle. And you know, test some on your wrist to feel if it's warm enough before or cool enough before giving it to the baby. It feels

like yesterday when you just gave this child their name, their name, you just name them.

But Allah subhanho wa Taala has a plan.

This family

was chosen by Allah subhanho wa Taala to raise a young half of

who in his last moments.

Would continuously remember Allah subhana wa tada

yesterday afternoon, during our drive thru in the masjid,

And I didn't realize it.

And it was like oh Subhan Allah, that's your daughter, Allah. That's amazing. Right? And she was there. And you know, she received an hamdulillah. Right? This goes to show that this is a family connected to Allah subhanho wa Taala under Islam, they may be watching, I don't know they're probably very busy right now. He says I woke up

and he was spending his time of course next to his son. Both parents, just because of mentioning the father doesn't mean the mother. We know the mother gives. We know the mother always gives more than the Father. Right. And there they are the hidden gems. Right.

He says I came to understand him to check on him.

And there's no heartbeat.

In any law he was in a garage

He says you no doubt last night.

He kept saying the Shahada over and over should Allah

in the law, he's saying the Shahada over and over and he says,

I told him when I leave,

it's okay don't worry, we're all going to go to Paradise inshallah.

they went to sleep.

And he woke up this morning.

And he returned to Allah subhana wa tired.

You know, it's beautiful, my brothers and sisters in his last once

he reminds us of

the passing of Mohammed lung where he was,

you could sense that something is happening.

You'd sense that this is, this could be it.

And he's seeing the Shahada over and over.

And brother out if tells me when I told him I said, you know, just close his eyes.

And his mouth, he says, Breathe it out. I closed his eyes, since his mouth is already closed. hamdulillah his mouth is closed. He's so peaceful. And he says his hand, he has his Shahada finger pointing up.

Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, how many of us have watched the movie of Malcolm X his life, right? So many people have seen it. And what is unique to that is that in the end, they show that scene of him with his hand up with the Shahada finger, as he's dying and returning to Allah. Here's a little boy in our community, aged 13 years old,

passing away, after looking his father in the eye, saying the shadow over and over, saying Jen nettle fear dose Jana to fildo legging from Allah asking Allah with the little strength that he has left with the little strength that he has left.

Seeing jannatul for those, and his finger, pointing up the Shahada, the finger testifying that Allah is one

of his one,

my brothers and sisters,

we can have all the wealth of this dunya.

But if we don't have this, if we don't believe that Allah is one, and it's not deep rooted within our hearts,

all of the wealth of this when everything that it contains is useless, useless, useless, completely useless.

But to have belief in the oneness of Allah subhanho wa Taala. And to be asking Allah for not to feel dose in your love moments, and to leave this world peace be on the morning, Friday.

Right after the month of Ramadan has ended.

attempt, I should say rectify those issues between us.

But a young boy

who just reaches the age of 30

and finishes the Quran, and is chosen to preserve it, and leaves after Ramadan, just after the day varied on the morning of Friday a law who come up with his Shahada finger pointing up saying the Shahada over and over before going to bed, asking for genital photos. What more does a person want?

For the parents of Abdullah Halim, and the siblings of Abdullah Helene, may Allah subhanho wa Taala strengthen you during this difficult time.

We know that it's hard we know but we don't know how hard it is.

So we will make dua for you and continue to make dua for you.

But we also need to remember my brothers and sisters,

that this life has a purpose beyond simply eating food throughout the day. Now that Ramadan is over. This life has a purpose beyond simply working and earning and making money and enjoying this life has a purpose beyond going and seeking the luxuries and bounties and comforts. massages and facials and pedicures and manicures. This life has more to it.

I guarantee none of us

would trade anything of this world. Or at let me rephrase this. I'm pretty sure I won't guarantee I'm pretty sure because some people might trade all of this world in order to be able to see the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam during his lifetime.

What did he look like? What did his hands look like? What did his face look like? How was he?

But my brothers and sisters, we will return to a wall

and we will see Allah Who created more Hamlet's on Allah and he wasn't and we will be with in sha Allah insha Allah with Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and we will in sha Allah drink from his hands and enjoy alcove and enjoy sneem right.

this life is short.

You know Allah please make it easy for all of our community members that are going through hardship and difficulty with their own problems and their own issues. You know Allah please make it easy for every single one of our community members. Yeah Allah there are so many of our community members that are in the hospital right now in ICU as well. You know Allah please bless all of them with good health and strength and ease. Yeah, Allah please make it easy for many of our

community members that are going through difficult times in their lives. Whether it is something to do with their health to do with their wealth, or something to do with their family or something to do with their Deen or something to do with their Iman yet Allah please Maisie for them. And Allah we know that there is no issues with our Deen but sometimes we are the ones who are weak to practice and implement it. Allah please make it easy for every single one of us to come closer to you. community and the rest of the world. That is none other than the son of Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, Allah, we thank you for all that you've granted us throughout this month of Ramadan, Allah, we thank you for allowing us to fast the days that we fasted, you know Allah, for those of us who have missed days of fasting, accept those days of fasting in the next few days and allow us to fast those six days to one year please bless us with the rewards that you promised. And these allow us the strength to do even more you know low we beg and ask for you to shower us and mercy upon us not only throughout the month of Ramadan, but also throughout the whole year. And we know that you

do that. But we asked from all of your bounties and mercy and blessing and forgiveness. The the ability the abundant amount of blessings that you showers throughout the month of Vaughn you have a long shower even more throughout the entire year.
