said Mr. Arun Kumar from Ottawa, you better care to brothers and sisters, welcome back to another episode of the triple D series. Today we are going to discuss hisbah. And in order for us to understand hesper Let me ask you this, imagine yourself sitting in your car, and you go for a ride one day and you feel like you know, this is just not happening. My car's just, it's not working the way it used to work. So you take it to a garage and you have it repaired, you may, you know, have to change your tires, and brake pads, do an oil change, it'll a couple things need to be maintained on your car. So you get that done, then you realize, okay, I'm the laggard effects. Let me take it for
a wash, so it looks good as well. So you have your car washed, you know, and it's all shined up, polished, no scratches, windows are nice and clean. And you go for a cruise and you realize how long my car's looking good. It's riding good, it's smoother, it's quieter, and inshallah that's going to last longer. And if you maintain it that way, it will last longer every time something happens to it, you take it into the garage you haven't maintained you know, you do this regular maintenance on it, and it will last longer and look better, and insha Allah perform better as well. The same thing can be applied to our lives. When we talk about hesper. We're talking about an AMA been married with
one na E and in Mancha. enjoining good, promoting good, and
staying away from evils, forbidding evils, and trying to discourage evil actions from being committed. So this art of performing good and forbidding evil is what we call hesper. All right, so in the Quran, Allah subhanho wa Taala talks about this Allah Subhana Allah says, well it's a comin Come on man, when you're the owner in a higher way I would have been better off you and Honiara and in Mancha, that there should be from amongst us, a group of people that enjoin good and forbid evil. Also the profits on the lower it was Allah mentions min min C'mon cannon for your hire, who be ready for ilam yesterday, for the listening for Islam yesterday for the equality with Anika of Afro email.
The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam says that if a person sees an evil act being committed, then he should take action, he should take charge in removing that evil or against that evil. And if you cannot do that, then that person should try to remove the evil by using his tongue by using his words or her words, verbally taking care of that. And if the person can still not take care of it, with using actions by taking charge and using their tongue, then the prophets have a lot of ideas and advice that they use their heart. And that is the lowest level of Eman And we'll be discussing that in the future in sha Allah this Hadees will be discussed in detail in sha Allah Tada.
Also in the Quran, Allah subhanho wa Taala says, me No, no one minute bow go home earlier about yet we would have been microfi when when I needed one cup, that the believing men and believing women are protectors, one to another, so towards each other, they are protectors. And they enjoin, good and forbid evil. This is from the characteristics of the believing men and women in Islam.
Now, you may be asking yourself, what are we going to talk about? What are the four stages? While I will tell you in the next videos, we're going to talk about four different categories for different classifications, all to do with hesper all to do with enjoining good and forbidding evil. First of all, we're going to talk about the one who promotes good or prevents evil. Okay, so that is one category. The second category is the one who is committing the evil act, the one who is in need of being protected, or the one who is in need of some sort of encouragement in order to do good. The third category is the act that is being committed by that person, whether it is an evil act, or a
good act that can be done in a better fashion, for example. So not all things that we're going to be talking about is against evils, no, we're going to talk about how to improve yourself, and be better at the good actions that you are already performing. And the last category is the action that you take in order to encourage that person. So what stance, what
action basically do you undergo the actions that you take to make that situation better? So those are the four categories. We're going to cover those four categories and a lot of data in the coming videos. One
For each category, and inshallah, after that we're going to take it to the streets, Taking it to the streets means we're going to look for people on the street, you know, we'll bring the video camera outside. And we'll try and talk to other people and see, you know, if we can encourage, encourage people to do good, or try and encourage them to stay away from an evil act, whether it be smoking, whether it be swearing, whether it be talking to people they should not be talking to, whether it be going into places that they're not supposed to go into whatever it may be, we're going to look for these situations and we're going to teach each other how we can do that inshallah. Tada. And before
I finish, this is an art. This is an art that was taught to us in the Islamic University of Medina and the faculty that are studying in the faculty have down sort of Dean, and I remember our professor, he used to be very specific about this. He used to always encourage us to do this and it was homework every week, we had to do this for homework. So inshallah I hope to hear some feedback from some of you as we go along, through the procedures that we're going to discuss, and I would like to hear what you experienced and the good or bad situations that you were faced with and what you did to deal with them, such as outcome a level item was, said Mr. Ajay Kumar, not a lawyer or a
