Brothers, who are wearing, you know, things that are revealing, and we're going to talk about clothing shortly, I'm also going to add is not just referring to the things you see on the outside, but also how we behave. So being honest going to work and not seeking the promotion at

work. Because seeking the promotion, that means you're going to have to lie, or maybe cheat or be dishonest, right? untruthful.

right and who you're going to be, and then what you consume while you're there, all of these things is just the surface level of being obedient towards a boss pattern. So I'm going to dress accordingly, I'm going to go out at an appropriate time, we're going to be with people that I'm maharam for, right, and they're allowed to be around me and I'm allowed to be with, I'm not going to speak in decently I'm going to, you know drive and get there in a proper manner, the wealth that I earn to spend, I'm going to earn in that way, what I spend it on is going to going to be highlighted and so on and so on and so on. And that's just going out to eat.

What about going to school? What about chilling with friends? What about playing sports? What about doing business? What about calculating our investments? What about calculating soccer? What about saving for Hajj, and the list goes on. And this is why every single aspect of our lives really when we think of it is found in the deen of Allah subhanaw taala in the Quran and the Sunnah of Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wasallam every single aspect of our lives. And so when we become confused, we go and revert back to the way of Allah subhanho wa taala. And if we were to follow what people are telling us, or you know, just do this, it's okay. Just do that. It's alright. You know, like, every

single day, the topic of interest comes into my office, every single day, someone is asking about purchasing a home and taking, you know, a mortgage and interest. And it's like, the debate constantly back and forth, back and forth, back and forth. Why?

In my answer, whenever people come in, I tell them straight, they come in and say, you know, I just want to ask you what your opinion is about taking a mortgage and purchasing a house and is that and they say you already know the answer to it. And you know what they say to me? Yeah, you're right. But no, no, they Yeah, you're right part means, you know, the answer. The but part, that is where there's a problem, right. So we need to be people who stand firm upon what ALLAH SubhanA wa Tadesse revealed.

And then there are times when exceptions may be made. But the exceptions are not the norm.

Say that, again, the exceptions are not the norm. The exceptions are exceptions. So someone says, you know, I need to go to school and in order to go to school, I have no one to finance and this and that. And you know, they, okay, there is an exception for certain things. But that's not the norm.

So our dean is very clear on what's happening with that has made it clear and he tells a profit so well, I didn't tell the people this. And the moment that you start to do what the people want you to do, the moment you follow or behave according to the people and I say this for me first before all of you. And this is a reminder of hamdulillah my wife reminds me about all the time you do what you do for the sake of Allah, not for the people. If the people want something from you ask yourself Is that what about what's it could be anything simple, like changing the timing of solder, or you know the length of your hook law or you know what you're doing, if the people are pleased with it. That's

one aspect but is beloved pleased with it. If Allah is not pleased with it, then it doesn't matter if all the people are happy, it does not matter. Because what matters is pleasing Allah and when we please Allah subhana wa Tada, the people whose hearts are clean and wants to come closer to Allah, they will be pleased with that decision as well. And the people whose hearts are not clean, they will have an issue with it. It's okay. The only way we're going to educate ourselves about coming closer to Allah in the ways that are obedient to Him is if we go through some struggle, if we talk about the things that are a little bit uncomfortable to talk about, where we discuss the things

where we make decisions that the masses are not too happy with, but it is the way for us to get closer to Allah subhanaw taala through being obedient to Him.

We'll skip down to verse number 125 125 I swear to

Allah Subhan Allah to Allah says,

Wherever Allah wills to guide

can't breathe I can't breathe. Everything's normal. Why are you panicking? Everything is normal. You climb a mountain everything's fine just take a break.

You don't notice that something happened next to you that the person next to you, you know, broke their window and moved and someone else stepped in that place and is standing there. You don't even notice it. Because you focused on the

And we start thinking of work. Start thinking of families don't think they have money. small charities, not including money, charities that has nothing to do with money, charities that have everything to do with you. You see someone smile at them. This is the way we're supposed to be with each other. That's a setup. You make the person next to you the people around you feel like you know what, I'm being loved by someone. Right? Because how many times in our personal life, even though we have family around us, we don't feel loved. People go home come you know, go home, go to work, go home, go to work, go home, go to work. And then you know, just get up, eat, sleep, eat sleep, and the people who were around, sometimes we feel like the love is

diminishing. This is how human beings feel. When you stop and you appreciate the people that are around you of having good enough. You realize that what has really made you rich,

rich with people rich in your heart happy with the deen of Allah so countable once I had that.

Allah says, The pagans set aside for a share of their crops and cattle. And you may have seen it like I've traveled to many, many countries, sometimes you see people offering oranges, sometimes rice flour, you know, fruits, vegetables, different types of foods they're offering to these statues.

And I used to wonder to myself, if I'm hungry, and I just go over there and eat the food is it like haram?

You know, like, I used to see it so much. I used to live in Malaysia and you'd see all different kinds of things there. And subhanAllah I used to think to myself away from Hungary one day,

would it be haram and I wouldn't do it. But I was just thinking Islamically what would be the permissibility of it? If I went and ate from that. I took an orange

would it be permissible? And so you know, you think of these things, but the reality is what we're trying to show here is that this is food that is going to be wasted. It's served to a statue an idol that does not eat does not sleep does not breathe doesn't it's like stone.

Right? It does eat food.

Rather than the same time just across the street. You see homeless people right across the street. You come out of the temple right across the street, you see homeless people

hungry.

The stones that are false gods have luxurious foods that are being given to them fresh milk, people take milk, fresh milk, put it in the silver pots, and they carry them on their heads all the way up the stairs and given to them

yet right across the street right outside of people who don't have enough to drink.

Where are our priorities? In Islam, Allah subhanaw taala asks us as well to take a portion of our wealth, whether it's food produce, or earnings, take a portion of it known as Zeca

Zika. And we take that give to Allah subhanaw taala and waste it, we give it to Allah by sharing it with those that are in need. The categories of people that are most appealing to Allah wants us to give zakat to

that is us offering to Allah, we offer to Allah subhanho wa taala. By giving to his creation, He made us a means those of us that have the ability to do so to give from our wealth to those who are in need not to just burn it. I see people burning money as well, they only buy these, they take real money, and they buy fake money. Okay, so you know, like you have monopoly money, fake money, they go and they buy real money. And then sorry, they use the real money to buy fake money. And they offer that to the spirits of their loved ones. Now remember, in December, and I'm saying this with full intent, not to mock anyone. But just to point out because I wasn't counting the data does not like

when we make fun of other people, what they do what they believe in and how they worship. I'm not saying this to mock, I'm saying this as an example so that we see and hear and know what people are doing. And they buy this fake money 1000 2000 3000 To send to the spirit of their loved one who left this world because they may need money.

And then they light it and burn it and the ashes that go up. That's the money going up here. It's for the soul of

It's not just burning incense, they burn things. And they say if I you know, purchase this low paper car made, you know, Mercedes of sending a Mercedes to my loved one. This is what human beings believe.

And when you think of what a loss of habitat is showing us in the Quran, we as Muslims, if sometimes if I never shared this story with you, or you you probably experienced some of you have travelled and seen these things yourself, but our children, they haven't seen this stuff. And hearing it is like, oh, people do that. Why? It makes you makes you wonder like, is that really what people think? But yes, it is.

Yes, it is. And we have been sent with the truth, to share this truth with others, and that's our responsibility.

So Allah Subhana Allah mentions here in these verses, like I said, you know, 136 to 142, and number of different practices of things that people do, they give portions to others, they would even sometimes allocate and these are like the pagans, they would advocate or say, okay, the animal that is pregnant, right, the animal that's in the belly is for the men only not for the women. But if the animal is warm and it's a stillbirth, then we can share that with with the women as well. This is what they would have beaten us pilots at Grant us clarity and guidance and keep us up on the truth. And let's go to Surah two Aronoff, verse number eight in sha

How much will I give? Or how much have I produced of this world to place on this scale? How heavy will my scale be? Now we never know because ALLAH SubhanA wa Tada, multiplies and increases of course, not only through our actions, but the sincerity of our actions, because remember, we learned this on like the third or fourth day of Ramadan, that we may do good deeds. But if we are not sincere and not genuine, or a person doesn't believe they're doing it for other than the sake of Allah Subhana

Allah, then that good deed is wasted.

It's wasted.

And it has no weight on the scale.

And remember the example of the Hadith of the bid banca the prophets of Allah, Allah usnm gives the example of the person who commits sins, after sins after sins in this world. And they will come before a loss of habitat and the day of judgment and the angels will bring the scrolls and 99 scrolls filled with sins. Each scroll going to the end of the horizon, as far as the eye can see nothing on them, except since 99 scores placed on the scale, a person now starts to feel like How is this even possible? Like how does I am doomed, I'm finished, I'm destroyed.

I was paired with Allah as the angels to bring the good deeds.

And I usually keep a card in my pocket when I do this, but I didn't do it today. And on that card is written ilaha IL Allah.

That's it.

That's all this written on the card.

There were 99 scrolls of sins there the go till the end of the horizon, and one cards written on it.

This person believed

and it will be placed on the scale.

And that one card the biblical will outweigh the 99 schools sentence because the person is believed.

And we don't judge. We don't judge Allah as the judge. Sometimes we see people right outside the doors of the masjid committing since literally right outside the doors of the Masjid. Sometimes I'm sitting as you know, and people leave the masjid and right outside it, like, Hold on, let me just close my curtains. I don't want to see it. I want to hear I don't want to know. I don't want to know who it is. I don't want to what I'm hearing I don't like just close the blinds.

Like we just finished praying, we leave the masjid and automatically we're committing sins.

But don't judge

us habit and it knows what's in the hearts of every single one of us.

So it's best that we judge ourselves.

And that's why I said think of your scale. Think of how it will be how much are we presenting? How heavy will it be on the Day of Judgment? How much are we giving to Allah subhanho wa Taala

As believers when we come to the masjid

we come to the masjid dressed appropriately handled now I'm looking around that everyone is appropriately dressed. No one's wearing their pajamas. Not yet. Maybe later tonight, some people will be right we come to the masjid. We come dressed appropriately. Even if we're just wearing like, you know, measurable clothing handler it's proper, it's clean. It's not dirty, it's not muddy. It's you know, we look proper. I'm gonna

so when we come to worship Allah subhana wa Tada. We come to him closer to him dressed proper. How many times would you be invited to go meet someone like a prince? Right? Or a prime minister, or a president? Or even the CEO of the company that you work for? And you show up in your pajama pants?

Does that ever happen? No way? No way. Sometimes we're even embarrassed to show our neighbors what our pajama pants look like. Right? But yet we'll get into our car come to the masjid and stand in solid our pajama pants are standing before Allah.

So in our homes, we try our best to you know, dress up nicely you're praying Salah in our homes are a little bit more relaxed. Allah subhana wa Tada says, Who is Xena to command the quilty master. Now the world the whole world is a masjid as well. So if you want to get real super technical, right, as believers we should always be presentable. And that was the way of Mohammed sama la vida usnm
