And it's important for us to you know, make sure that we are using every minute of this month of Ramadan in the best way that we possibly can. So for example, you know, having the time to make do out before motivated during the month of Ramadan is absolutely important, this habit of the law and home would make dua to Allah subhanho wa Taala before they break their fast. And we see this in you know, stories of many of the prophets of the past and this is why I was some kind of was added brings it all together here in Sona, India, you know, they would ask for example, you know, the people that saw their hand the people of

of this world, we enjoy it. We have it on hand to love, but we don't live for it. As believers, we know that we might have this one day and it's gone the next day we have this one day, and it's gone the next day. So what we have is gone. But what's important is our emotion stays in our emotions strengthens and becomes harder, not harder, but more more firm within us more established within us. Then we move to where exactly I wanted to begin discussing verse number 51, which is the story of Prophet Ibrahim and he has set up and of course, we said it is sold out to me via the sooner that is titled The chapter is titled, after the prophets. So a lot begins by showing us this Prophet

Ibrahim, it has set up and he says, And indeed We have granted Ibrahim sounds judgment. Early on, as in from a young age, for we knew him well. As in he was worthy of it, Allah subhana wa tada knew him and he was deserving of it. He was worthy of it. So he blessed him with this knowledge. And with the ability to have that wisdom and understanding of the deen from an early age. It is said that Ibrahim it has said I'm starting to question his father about the idols from the age of seven. Now when you think of that from the age of seven, that's like, wow, that's unbelievable. That's amazing. Many of our seven year olds, now if we think of it, yes, some of us we may have seven year olds who know a

lot about the deen but we're talking about a seven year old or a child, let's just say a child because we don't have like specific numbers, per se.

A child asking about a law and the oneness of Allah subhana wa Tada. And not a child who is born and raised in a family, you know, that is promoting Islam to the child, we're talking about a child who's being raised in the household of someone who is known and openly recognized as the one who carves the idols within society. So as the father of Rahim, Allah has sent him he was the person who carved idols out of the stone.

Now you can imagine to yourself, someone who was not raised in an Islamic household is now starting to question about a wasp panel would not question about the existence of Allah, but wanting to know more about a loss of habitat and questioning the IOC and that which is worshipped by the people. So Ibrahim, I need to send him you know, the story here is mentioned how the people went out on the day of their celebration, Ibrahim went into the misto into the place where their idols were being kept basically like a warehouse. And he went in and he destroyed all of the little idols, except for the largest one that was there. He kept the largest one on purpose. He took the axe and he leaned it up

against the, you know, the the largest idol, and he left. And when the people returned, and they saw after celebrating, they were out in their celebration, they returned, they saw that all their idols were broken,

and smashed to pieces, except for the largest one. Some of the people said, we heard it was someone who goes by the name of Ibrahim, who destroyed these idols, right? You're calling hula, hula Ibrahim. So they didn't want to immediately blame the son of us of the one who makes those idols. And you can also think to yourself, wait a second, there's like a vested interest here. If all the idols are broken, then his father now has a lot of business, because he's gonna start carving idols like crazy, right? So his father sort of needs to separate himself from what happened in this incident. And that's exactly what we see happening. A loss of haddaway data shows us that Ibrahim

added his son and he comes forth and he says, look, you know, why are you questioning me? That I owe the biggest one of yours? He's the one with the axe Why don't you ask him he's got you know the tool that that stick that was used to break the idols Why don't you ask him? For sure the if he's the biggest and surely if he's one of your gods, then he will be able to speak and he'll be able to give evidence as to who or what actually happened if he so claims that he's not the one who broke those idols because he's the one who's holding you know that weapon. It's like

It's like oj simpson back in the day right the glove, right? The glove was found but it doesn't fit so it's not really him. No, but here we find the idol with the x. And it actually is with him. So even though he was like ask him I mean, it seems like he's the one who did it right.

Then Allah subhana wa tada shows us in the story that the people admit that their gods do not speak, right. They admit that their gods don't speak. Now that's a powerful lesson to learn because if that's something that the idol worshipers are admitting that their gods don't speak, then why are they continuing to worship those idols? Why do they continue in this way of life?

Why even bother with those idols? Right? So Allah Subhana, Allah is showing us here now

that, you know, they they recognize their ignorance, they know very well that these idols are not serving them in any way, shape or form, but they continue to do it. And that's exactly what Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was pulling his people away from as well, that you are continuing to worship these idols because your forefathers used to worship them. And you feel the need to continue to do that. That doesn't make any sense. And then we see a lot of headway. Data shows us from verse number 65, you know, the people get ready to throw him into this fire and they build a huge fire and his father is also from the people that are, you know, in favor of doing this,

of having Ibrahim Allah has sent them thrown into the fire, and you know, burnt alive. So they built this huge catapult, right, this massive catapult to throw or to launch Ibrahim, it has sent them into the fire, and they put them on it. And it's so big and huge, because the fire is so so strong that they need to build it far away in order to launch them into it. So Ibrahim Ali has sent me strapped on to it, they've launched him into the fire. And as he gets closer to it, because it's so hot, right? He flies off into the air. And at that point in time, Ibrahim is visited by a prophet of Allah, Angel gibreel. He comes to Ibrahim out of his center, and he asks him, Do you need anything?

Like any one of us was in that situation? We'd say to ourselves, are you crazy? Are you kidding me? Yes, please. Come on, man. Let me hold on to your wings and fly away, you know, get me out of this situation. I'm stuck here. I'm flying in here. I'm on my way to London, that fire over there. Hello. And I think I need a little bit of help. But Ibrahim and he said, I'm so composed. And his belief is so firm in a loss of headwinds. And it's it's almost mind boggling yet so impressive at the same time. Like it's admirable. We wish to have this kind of imagine in the loss of Hannah Montana as well.

Where we're faced with some kind of hardship, but we don't let it get to us. We know that if we stand firm, Allah will never let that happen to us, except that he has decreed or, you know, written for that to actually happen to us. So if something you know, dangerous is about to happen, and we see it we've taken all the precautionary measures, you know, and we say okay, what color Allah we trust Allah now to protect us and save us. It's like, you know, someone buying a car. You know, driving a car is extremely dangerous. In fact, not even driving the car, just getting into the car and sitting in the car is extremely dangerous without even moving the vehicle. Why do I say this?

Well, I'm a mechanic. So I know how cars work. I know how they function. I know very well, my brothers and sisters that

when you sit in a vehicle, you are sitting on top of something that is filled with fuel that is extremely, extremely flammable. Not only that you have airbags surrounding you, and these airbags are deployed at hundreds of kilometers an hour. And at the same time, while sitting in there with the electronics that we have within the vehicles, you might get locked in there and never be able to come out you could suffocate possibly inside of a vehicle. There's so many things that we could think of right? That can happen to us while sitting inside a vehicle without actually moving it. So here, it has sent him he's flying through the air. his belief is so firm and Alyssa palitana the

angel Djiboutian is asking him Do you need anything in his life from you? But from a law? Yes, from a lot. Yes, I do need something I need help from Allah subhana wa to add. And that's where we see a lot allows Ibrahim to continue in that journey on to the fire right into the fire, I should say. And Angel gibreel doesn't actually pull him away or rescue him from the fire. Right. All he needs is like a really strong gust of wind to blow into the side and he'll land away from the fire or All we need is like a gust of wind to blow the fire out and the fires gone. But a loss of habitat it makes it such to show us that he was so firm in his belief in Allah subhana wa Tada. He continued and he

landed in the fire.

And Allah subhanho wa Taala commands the fire to be cool and calm. But Odin was sent m&r that Ibrahim, not just cold but peaceful, calm and easy and comfortable for Ibrahim Ali to set up and the fire was so big it says it is said that it lasted for some time. Ibrahim it has sent him afterwards was seen coming out of the fire as though he's just

Walking out of it, right. And so, you know, that's really interesting because the loss of hands and it shows us how he rescues one of his servants one of his worshipers from a fire that none of us thought we would even be rescued from. And it's interesting because it ties in with the story of Adam

and his creation. And when shavon police refused to bow down and prostrate in front of Adam, what did he say? He said, I made a fire and he's made of clay and fires better. It's more powerful. It's stronger than this clay. Right. And as human beings we know that we burn in the fire, right? The fire would burn is like a candle or match. Yeah, that's hot. Right? So have a look. So here are lots of headlines and is showing us this beautiful, beautiful story of Ibrahim it has sent him and then he transitions off into mentioning in verses number 71 and 74 or 71 to 74. That Ibrahima, his son and his nephew, Lord, Allah has set up they leave, they leave their people, they abandon their

people, like you know what, that's it is too much for us. We're gonna need to leave.

Then Allah subhanho wa Taala shows a story of Noah, Allah has sent him and his people which we covered already, and we will probably cover again, we transitioned off into the story of Deadwood. And so Dana profit Deadwood, and he has set them and so they met and we'll just look at some examples from verses number 78. To You know, 80 to 78 to 80, to almost a pen with addresses was there was a man in the coma if he will have his nefesh he heard him will call me.

He was a cannibal, which Allah says and remember when Deadwood or David and son amen or Solomon passed judgment regarding the crops that were ruined at night by someone's sheep, and we were witness to their judgments. So the man is the son, Prophet that wood is a prophet and he's extremely wealthy and he's the king of the land and he is also the judge so people come to him when there's an issue in the land right back to know how you guys sit for so long. So prophet Dawood alayhis. Salam, he,

you know, he's with his son constantly and his son learns a lot from him. One day, this these two men they come and they complain to Prophet Deadwood Allah has set up they say, look, one of them says, I have crop I have land. And that man his sheep came and they eat from all my crop and they destroyed it. So prophet who Allah has said that he had wisdom, but he was, you know, he was quick to judge. And so he tells the men whose crops was eaten, he says, you know, you take his animals, and you take the crop of this men.

Oh, sorry. Sorry, my mistake, and mixing the two together. So he tells the men who, who owns the sheep, he says, Listen, your sheep ate these crops. So your sheep, you need to give them to him, right? He owns the sheep now because his your sheep destroyed his land, he now lost all his land. So he's gonna keep your sheep, right, your property destroyed his so you have to give your property to him. So they man his son, he's like, you know what? Father, this isn't the greatest thing. Okay, you know, let's let's go and revisit this debt. All right, so they go to the site, and they discuss this.

Prophet Solomon, the son, he suggested his father, he says, Why don't we do this? Why don't we tell the men who owns the sheep, right? To work the land of the other men, until the land is back to the condition that it was, and then he can return the sheep, right? The men who owns the land, he will look after the sheep and he can enjoy what comes from it, like the milk and so on. Right that that comes from the meat of, or the produce of the of the animals. And so that was the decision that they made. So while also kind of its ad is showing us here, the story of that and what happened, you know, and how the two of them work together, they were both given wisdom, but it was a different

kind of wisdom, right? And both of them will handle had that wisdom and is a great level of wisdom. But they work together to try and figure things out. It's a beautiful example of how a parent and a child can work together to achieve great things in this dunya. And it's not always the parents showing the child I know better than you. I'm going to screw you. I'm going to teach you what's right and what's wrong and so on and so forth. Our children, you know what, in fact, our teachers used to tell us and continue to tell this and I say this to our students. You know, one of the Y ma students at our meeting.

Did the young Muslim Academy the program that we teach for youth,

he asked me a question just before this whole lockdown began, you know, this self isolation pandemic? And I asked him, I said, Well, what do you think, is the answer to this question? And he answered it, and I was like, there you go, you got it. I'm the law. He's like, Wow, I didn't really know that I could answer that question. I'm like, Look, I've taught you enough things on this topic for you to be able to figure this out on your own. And he was like, Wow, that's amazing how the law and I said, Look,

I learned from my teachers and I would love to see this with our students as well. I want to see that our children and our students become smarter and better than we are. That's a sign our teachers tell us a sign of a good teacher is, is one who is happy when their students excel beyond their level. So when the students become smarter, more educated, more experienced, and more knowledgeable than the teacher themselves, that means the teacher did a good job. That means the teacher did a good job of him vanilla. So we need to see our children excelling above and beyond our level of knowledge and education. Okay.

Prophet dodon said, Amen. Allah subhana wa tada continues and says, We guided young send a man to a fairer settlement, and granted each of them wisdom and knowledge. So they were both granted wisdom and knowledge, we subjected the mountains, as well as the birds to him, the praises, along with debu what Allah has sent him, It is we who did it, it is not from them, they are they do not have these powers and abilities. And that little phrase is important. Well couldn't have a mean Allah Subhana, Allah says, that it is Allah who did all of this for them. It is not prophet devil that Allah has sent him it is not profit. So they know Allah has said and who have these magical powers. It is a

loss of hand with Adam who granted them the ability to actually do this. And that is the case with all of the prophets of Allah subhanho wa Taala had all of the messengers, their powers and abilities, the miracles that they were given, are not things that came from them specifically, they are from Allah, and Allah gave them the ability to do these things. So the mountains were given the ability to, to praise a loss of handling data, along with profit, Deadwood, Allah has set up.

And then Allah Subhana, Allah says, We taught him the art of making body armor, to protect you in battle, when will you then be grateful? So Allah Subhana Allah says, forgive me, my back's really hurting. So I keep moving. And it's because of this issue with my back. And it's really acting up today.

So

unless pedowitz Allah grant is to all those that are suffering this little pain in my back is nothing compared to what I'm sure many others are facing, right? So Allah subhana wa, tada is showing us here, you know, he gave him the art of molding steel. Now, this is interesting, because I was named that woods. And my father is a welder. And he's, you know, an iron worker. And he always wanted me to take up his profession. And I don't think it's because profit though that he said, I'm used to mold steel or metal or iron with his hands. But profit though that he has sent him, you know, he had the ability to do so one day he was holding his his, he was holding a rut, right, an

iron rod. And he was contemplating so much he didn't realize that he had bent it and molded it and it took the form of his hand. Right? So that's how easily he could mold, iron Allah Subhana, which Allah gave him the ability. Another thing that's interesting about Prophet deload, one of the prophets of Allah Subhana Allah is that he not only had this, this ability to do that, but he used it as a profession. He used to make armor for use in battle, okay.

And he would make things out of steel out of, you know, iron. And so that was the profession of Deadwood, LA, his center, okay.

The cool thing about it, though, that I really want to mention,

give me give me five seconds, I just really need to stand up.

So Prophet dellwood Allah has sent him he had his own profession. So he was a prophet of Allah.

but he earned his own wealth, he did not take wealth from the people of the land. And he taught that to his son as well. So, amen. And so soon Amen. We subjected the raging winds blowing by his comment to the land we had showered with blessings, It is we who know everything, Allah Subhana Allah gave him the ability to control the winds and in addition to the ability to control wind, he also had the ability to you know, speak the language of the animals he could understand that language I should say. So he had an understanding of the language of the animals he understood the end, right when the end was calling out to its people get back into your hole, right? So so the man or the his son had

the ability to communicate with many of the creation of a loss of habitat including the jinn, okay? He, he had jinn that would work for him, okay, they would work for him. Allah says we answered his prayer and removed his adversity and gave him back his family, twice as many double the amount of children as a mercy from Us and the lesson for the devoted worshipers. My brothers and sisters we see in the Koran for in an electricity you saw in Nevada city USA. And earlier today it was in the masjid and a you know, I saw it I met with you know, one of the one of the board members

and you know, he was telling me about you know, times and how things are difficult and so on. And he said this himself he said, you know, Alhamdulillah for sure after all of this you know, they will come ease and we were talking about the masjid and the donations and how things are, you know, usually throughout the month of Ramadan we pull in here in Milton and our Masjid approximately $200,000 right of donations that are given throughout the month of Ramadan last year $498,000 $498,000 and 100 Allah

this year 10,000 not even not even $10,000

and my brothers and sisters don't think that the money that's raised is given only for the masjid, for use throughout Ramadan, but the wealth that's given is used for the maintenance and the upkeep of the mustards throughout the whole year. And we usually collect that throughout the month of Ramadan.

Yeah, it's really

so we usually see that what we collect throughout the month of Ramadan is good for the whole year to come right it helps it's not what we need entirely, but it helps drastically this year, my brothers and sisters we need you more than ever and this is why in sha Allah Allah you know, we will be asking constantly in the last 10 days in particular, we will be asking you regularly for your help towards the masjid because my brothers and sisters we went from receiving $498,000 last Ramadan and roughly around 200 to 120 you know 180,000 all the previous trauma bonds to now less than $10,000 this Ramadan, my brothers and sisters we need to do a lot more because this is the house of a loss

of what to add. And you can just imagine if if that's how much we raised in the previous years to upkeep the masjid and to keep things going and running and functioning and paying for the property. So every single thing, everything human creation, all of that, the prophets of Allah, Allah, you ascend them was sent as a mercy. And if he was sent as a mercy, that means we follow his example. And we are also on this mission of conveying and transmitting mercy to everything and everyone around us on the face of the earth. We need to be people of Russia, we need to be people of

understanding we need to be people of, you know, decency, we need to be people that are composed and proper. And you know, so how to like even when we dress, we should dress properly. You know, we've been at home for some time now. But that doesn't mean that we should be in our pajamas all the time. That means we need to get up and understand that this simplicities of life still have some sort of beauty in it. And so if you're still in your pajamas right now, my brothers and sisters, go and change. Turn up the volume and go and change put on some nice clothing, put something nice on, make your family feel good. Spray some perfume on or put some weight on. You know, put your hand cream

and brush your hair and groom yourself and look good for Allah subhanho wa Taala why my brothers and sisters because in the Maha jemena Gemma, Allah Subhana Allah loves it when we are well presented and look good. And remember, will not have some nugget in the land. I mean, a loss of Hamlet, and it hasn't sent us except, and of course, he's referring to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam except that he is a mercy to all of this world. And we follow his example. So we need to be the best that we can be children, youth, teenagers, if you're still sitting down and you're chilling, you're like, Oh, come on, man. to them before. Right? You do something nice to all those that are around you because you feel good because you look good. And so my brothers and sisters, let's make sure that we are also acting as the prophets on a love ladder usnm did in showing mercy to all of the creation of Allah subhanho wa Taala Allah, let's move off into solar to hedge.
