smiliar hamdu lillah wa salatu salam ala Rasulillah he while early he also had to he was salam

00:00:27--> 00:00:36

ala Melinda may info now and fat and have you met a limp tena or is it Iman autobill al Amin, Allah humaine, the critical issue critical Hosni Budda tick.

00:00:38--> 00:01:02

So Al hamdu Lillahi Rabbil Alameen were still in the chapter on the description of Heaven and Hell, and only a couple of Hadees remain in that chapter. And in fact, generally we are nearing the end of Kitab or repack the book of the softness of the heart. So it may take us one or more two sessions we'll see insha Allah.

00:01:03--> 00:01:11

But for today, our intention is to finish that chapter and probably go into the following chapter Eden, Allah azza wa jal,

00:01:13--> 00:01:15

the Hadith that we'll start with today,

00:01:17--> 00:01:34

and we've encountered this hadith before and as we said, and if you remember the Buhari Rahim Allah does repeat the Hadith. We said that there are benefits to that repetition, either in terms of the snad the

00:01:36--> 00:01:50

sequence of narrators the chain or in terms of the benefit of adding extra wordings of the Hadith, or in a particular spot, while he wants a particular point. So here,

00:01:52--> 00:02:06

the messenger sallallahu alayhi wa sallam says layered hello hello Neil Jana Illa Oriya Mercado Homina Nerello Assa Alyeska chakra wala yet Hulu Nora huddle Illa Oriya Mercado hoomin agenda Tierra Asana, Leah coonara He has surah

00:02:07--> 00:02:15

is that anyone who is going to enter Jannah will be shown his spot in paradise.

00:02:17--> 00:02:27

I'm sorry spot in hellfire had he been sinful and evil, so that he'd be more thankful to Allah azza wa jal

00:02:28--> 00:02:41

and no one who enters hellfire, but he would be shown his place in paradise had he been righteous. So that would be extra sadness and misery for him.

00:02:43--> 00:03:28

So this hadith tells us and we encountered a hadith before where Rasulullah sallallahu sallam said that a pea person in a grave is gonna go to heaven, he'll be shown his place in heaven. Remember that hadith twice a day, and a person who he is about to go to hellfire. While in the grave he'll be shown his place in Jahannam, twice a day. Here it tells you that the believer will also see his place in hellfire had he been what? unrighteous, and empires he would see that if you were not doing all the good things that you were doing, if you did not believe in Allah azza wa jal, this was for you, in fact, and he reserved for you.

00:03:29--> 00:03:49

So if he sees that what happens is that he'd be more thankful because he now he knows his place in Ghana. And he also his knows that he will get it and he knows his place that was supposed to be for him in hellfire, and he knows that he will be saved from it. So if you're shown your

00:03:50--> 00:04:01

bad consequences had they have been materialized, you'd always say Alhamdulillah that Allah save me from this, that if you choose a path in life, just in life,

00:04:02--> 00:04:23

and Allah were to show you that the path that Allah did not allow you to take was disastrous. And you'd be reminded of that, had I taken this job, I would have gotten in so much trouble. Had I taken that trip, I would have died for instance, if you are reminded of Allah's favor, you will continuously be thankful.

00:04:25--> 00:04:43

So few of the benefits that you take from that hadith for us today is first of all, is if Allah azza wa jal had saved you from something he had saved you for a reason. Even if you believe that that thing is the best thing in the world for you.

00:04:45--> 00:04:48

Okay, well, Elsa intagra Who shall who will?

00:04:49--> 00:04:59

Put perhaps you might hate something and it is good for you. I certain to hit Bucha Yahuwah charbroiler calm and perhaps you might love something and it is that for you

00:05:00--> 00:05:08

So, the emotions, the desires, the attachments that you have in this dunya for something does not mean that that thing is good for you.

00:05:09--> 00:05:54

So if Allah azza wa jal had destined despite your best effort, and despite a great attachment that you have, that you are not gonna have this thing, whatever that thing might be, and it might be the thing that is distressing you the most causing you a lot of heart ache, I really want it to be this thing, or to have that thing but you did not get it. The know for sure that Allah has Zota did not take it away from you, because he does not want to give, but in fact, he'd be wants to save. So a believing man and woman in this dunya if they want to be righteous, especially today, they will live in a sense of prison.

00:05:56--> 00:05:59

Because if you let your desires loose,

00:06:00--> 00:06:05

everything you want is available. And it's easy. And it's maybe cheap.

00:06:06--> 00:06:13

Right? Any haram that you want is far more accessible than what the hell?

00:06:14--> 00:06:35

So if you're going to restrain yourself, I'm not even talking about you telling your kids or somebody telling you if you are conscious enough that you want to restrict yourself, you'll be constantly telling yourself what No, no, no, no, just like someone who is in prison who wants and the jailer tells him what No, no, no, no.

00:06:37--> 00:07:00

But Rasulullah sallallahu wasallam says what a dunya signal moment. The dunya is the prison of the believer. Not prison in the sense of what that it should suffocate you Isla Isla as long as a Muslim I'm suffocating. Right? Not that that that. But because there is a lot of haram. And if you don't stop yourself from it, it will destroy you.

00:07:01--> 00:07:03

So do you think that the doctor

00:07:04--> 00:07:50

and we don't always have to use doctors as examples, but it's just an easy one. If you go to the doctor and the doctor says list of foods that you support to avoid is the doctors intend to control you or suffocate you make your life miserable? No, to save you, right? Because there are a lot of bad things. So think about it in the same terms. If you want to live your life, without restraints, you'll eat the worst of food and the worst of food is by the by the way, the cheapest, right? But what happens to you, when that's the case, you get sick eventually. And you pay the price. Because you did not restrain yourself. Eventually you got yourself in trouble. Haram Subhan Allah is exactly

00:07:50--> 00:08:35

the same way. You're not going to restrain yourself now because you want to be free, and you want to enjoy life. And because you want to get or have whatever you desire, you can do that Allah gives you that freedom. But then you have to pay the price later whether you're taking drugs, or it's alcohol, or it's extramarital sex or whatever it whatever other issues of haram that a person might desire, you do that there's always a price tag that follows nothing is free. Nothing is free in this dunya. Whereas you find those who eat healthy and they exercise later on, they get the reward of their choices. Right? So the same thing with the Hello. So then the one thing that you get from this is

00:08:35--> 00:09:15

that Allah azza wa jal saves you from these things, to save you from hellfire. And Allah will show you that in the grave, so that you appreciate all the things that you stayed away from. And all the things you're striving to do, even though you couldn't see the results immediately in front of your eyes. Because it is not easy to have Eman and be righteous and delay the reward until you see it in the grave. And on the Day of Judgment. That is not easy. If somebody tells you, or you say, let's do this, let's pray on time.

00:09:17--> 00:09:36

Let's, you know, give Zika let's go to Hajj and all these things require striving. Let's avoid the haram. All the all the lists of the Haram avoided. plebs, somebody's going to come and tell you whether they are not believers or disobedient believers. Are you serious about all of this?

00:09:38--> 00:09:59

Are you actually not going to do this and gain this gratification right now? For the sake of something that is delayed? Come have fun, enjoy your life. These things that you think will happen later. There's a day of judgment, death resurrection, they may not even happen. Just focus on the right and now it's a great struggle to say no to all of this

00:10:00--> 00:10:11

and hold fast to the truth and say, I will hold on to this, despite the temptations and the doubts, as Allah azza wa jal says in the Quran about one of the believers

00:10:12--> 00:10:15

who says that he had a friend.

00:10:16--> 00:10:20

And that friend Walter had told him that in Nickelodeon and Mossad, the key

00:10:22--> 00:10:24

he would use to tell him in the dunya

00:10:25--> 00:11:08

How are you actually going to be a believer who believes in all these things that uh, do you believe those fairy tales of people dying and being resurrected and going to heaven and going to hell? So he's trying to take him away from that belief and that believer continued to resist it until Allah shows it's that scene on the Day of Judgment, how the hell and tomato deer owner for Talia for AU visa and Jehane pilot Allah hain kittila Tour de Allah tells them right look in hellfire about you know it's searching for your friend who used to tell you all of these things will you stay away from the haram? Will you do all this the halal outdated, antiquated rules? Will you believe in a day of

00:11:08--> 00:11:38

judgment you have no physical proof of it all these things? And Allah says take a look into hellfire Allah for Allah he looked and he saw him deep inside hellfire. And then that believing man said Pilate Allah hanky Della Torre de A says, By Allah, you're about to destroy me minute if I listened to you, you're about to destroy me. So there is that patience and striving in holding on to the truth, even though you haven't seen Jana.

00:11:39--> 00:12:24

And even though you haven't seen hellfire. So here, Allah azza wa jal, because you're waiting in the grave, for that time where you will wait for Jannah Allah shows it to you. So there is no waiting anymore. And he does the same thing for the other person who used to disbelieve in all of this and run away from it. No, there is no heaven. And no, there is no hell. And no, there are no consequences to what I'm doing or what does Allah do? shows him Heaven and Hell repeatedly. So the thing that you used to ignore, right now it's staring you in the face. And that is a low atom, right? Part of the reason perhaps, of why a person sees it while in the grave, because you couldn't

00:12:24--> 00:12:43

see it in the dunya. Yet, you continue to be a believer, or you run away from it in the dunya. Because you want it to disobey now, Allah reward you by seeing it every day, if you're a believer, and punishes you by seeing it every day, if you're a denier.

00:12:44--> 00:12:56

So, and of course, as the prophets alladia was sitting them says, so it's mercy upon mercy when you see what Allah saved you from and misery upon misery when you could see what you could have gotten.

00:12:57--> 00:13:00

And if you ever

00:13:01--> 00:13:12

had have regrets in this life, and I don't think that there is a single person who will live this life without having a regret or 2am i Right.

00:13:13--> 00:13:41

Right, absolutely right, I could have done this, I could have been that I should have made better choices. Every single person will have regrets it you could be the smartest, most strategic person in the world, and you will always have a regret or two. That's the nature of this life. But no regret in this dunya equals this regret where Allah could show you on he does show you this is what you could have been.

00:13:43--> 00:13:59

And now you cannot get it. That is the ultimate regret. Because the dunya there is a redo. There's a do over for the dunya which is in the archaea. Right? That is think about it right now. What is the thing that you're regretting in the dunya just think about it.

00:14:00--> 00:14:09

This is that thing I wasted time I didn't have enough money I didn't have this, whatever it is, there's a do over because when you go into Jannah

00:14:10--> 00:14:57

what happens all the things that you want you get to so there's a do over by there's a there'll be no regret, absolutely no regret whatever you want, you get you will be completely fulfilled. So there is really no lingering regret coming from the dunya the greatest regret though for a person to be punished in hellfire, I mean punished in the grave, knowing that he's gonna go to jahannam and then Allah shows him that this is the thing that you could have been. This is could have been your house. This is could have been your family, your food, your drink, what do you could enjoy, but you lost all of it. So before the greatest regret, do something about it now and don't be imprisoned by

00:14:57--> 00:15:00

the regrets of the dunya because the regrets of the dunya will

00:15:00--> 00:15:07

Pass, they will go. And Allah will compensate you for whatever thing that still hurts.

00:15:08--> 00:15:29

And by the way, right? Whenever something hurts you from the dunya that is what an affliction and a test that Allah rewards you for. Just like physical hurt, right? Like if anything hurts you physically. Does that not take from yours bad deeds? How about emotionally and psychologically? Same thing.

00:15:30--> 00:15:43

Same thing, right? I'm now anxious I'm now sad. I'm now down. I'm now regretful, I'm now melancholy. All of these things, take away your sins. So that's the nature of this life.

00:15:44--> 00:15:56

But just tell yourself there are always regrets. Everybody regrets something. But there's another life for you to gain and have what you did not have in this life.

00:15:57--> 00:15:59

The following hadith

00:16:00--> 00:16:01

is where

00:16:03--> 00:16:48

I will Hora euro as the messenger sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and he said, Yeah rasool Allah He meant Isago nasty vicia for RTKL multi Amma, he says who? Which person will be happiest to receive your intercession on the Day of Resurrection. So the prophets are seldom intercedes. He's saying who would be happiest with that type of intersection intercession of yours? So a messenger SallAllahu wasallam said Karnataka volunteer Abba Hora your Allah is Allah Ania and her that hadith he had on a willow mink Lima right to mean hero seeker al Hadith he said oh Abu Hurayrah I believed that no one before you will ask me about this. Because of how eager I find you to learn about Hadith and listen

00:16:48--> 00:16:48

to it.

00:16:50--> 00:17:15

So then he said some Lolly was in them. I don't know see Bucha Ito multivitamin kala La ilaha IL Allah Who Harley Sonneman club immunoglobulin FC. He says the happiest person with my intercession on the Day of Resurrection is the one who says La Ilaha illa Allah Haile Sun sincerely from his heart voluntarily, willingly. He says, let either in Allah with all sincerity.

00:17:17--> 00:17:30

So this hadith has a question has a fulfillment of a prediction from the prophets or Essendon and then the thing that I've already had asked about, so avoid ask the question man as soon as he Bucha fat can now

00:17:31--> 00:17:37

go Hooray era towards the light as latter part of the prophets, Allah Allah wa Salam is life was always with him.

00:17:39--> 00:18:24

In Abu Hurayrah had no work to do that he wouldn't do anything throughout the day, day and night, day and night, except keep the company of whom Rasulullah sallallahu Sallam day and night day and night, he wouldn't do anything. That's why the greatest narrator of the Hadith of the Prophet sallallahu Sallam among the Sahaba is definitely a warrior. Right? Why? Because he was dedicated. He was not the first person to accept Islam. Right? Abu Bakr and Omar on Earth man and lady they came before Abdul Rahim Medina. But Abu Hurayrah cannot specialize because he came later he specialized in Hadith. Why? Because he wanted to learn. And that is the beauty of dedication. You don't have to

00:18:24--> 00:18:29

be the first. You don't have to be the oldest. But you have to be the most dedicated.

00:18:31--> 00:18:43

And if you are dedicated and you ask Allah azza wa jal and Abu Hurayrah by the way, if I said that he was with the prophets of Allah, Allah wa salam day and night, do you think that that did not come with a price?

00:18:44--> 00:18:50

It came absolutely with the price and with a heavy price, what was that heavy price? He was dirt poor?

00:18:51--> 00:19:01

What are the Allah anomic had no food, because he like he wouldn't do anything except Hadith and listen to the Prophet. And he's always with him. So he had no food.

00:19:02--> 00:19:04

And he had he endured that

00:19:05--> 00:19:25

just to learn. And he probably would that had set the tradition for the older man who came later on who when, because they had to seek knowledge. They had to be poor. They couldn't work. They couldn't rely on anybody else. And for that they endured it as long as they are learning and then teaching, they didn't have to be rich.

00:19:27--> 00:19:59

And we're not saying that the scholars need to be poor in order for them to be scholars. We're not saying this but they say sometimes there is a price to be paid. And here are the Allahu Anhu paid for that price paid that price now, the prophets on insulin notices all of this and the prophets Allah send them now has this belief about Abu Hurayrah Kezia Abu Hurayrah You're always with me. And you're always listening. And now you begin to know the person and anticipate things about the person. So when Abu Hurayrah asked this question, it was sort of allah sallallahu Sallam he said said I knew that

00:20:00--> 00:20:14

She will be the first person to ask me about this. Because I knew how eager you are and how interested you are in the Hadith. So if say the province, Ali Salam in his head, he was saying, if anyone was to ask me about this, it'd be Abu Huraira.

00:20:15--> 00:20:57

So, of course, that, for me the relationship between a teacher and a student that gives the student a boost, the teacher knows me, and the teacher is close to me. And the teacher thinks about me and the teacher. So you see how Rasul Allah has a lot to sell them as a teacher, he was also effective. And I think Willow alum and law knows best, this is not something artificial from him SallAllahu wasallam, that you learn strategies, and you go and apply. It originates from care, and concern from being genuine, and from being kind and from being wise. So now we learn how to be a teacher, right? You do this, and you do this, and this is how you deal with their students. And this is good,

00:20:57--> 00:21:35

because it does teach you strategies. But for the prophets, Allah Allah Azza wa sallam, it will allow Adam comes, of course, from all the things that Lord taught him in the Quran and the Sunnah. But I also think it comes from genuine care that if I know a person, and I care about a person, this is what you do, right? Because sometimes some of these strategies, even if no one taught you what they're supposed to be, you will be able to implement them come up with them, if you just have the right fistula, the right understanding, and also the right intention. So he said, I know that you're the first person who's going to ask me about this. Now that hadith is I don't know, see, Bucha for

00:21:35--> 00:21:44

it, the person will be happiest with my intercession is the one who says La Ilaha. Il Allah sincerely from his heart and voluntarily meaning out of love out of desire.

00:21:45--> 00:22:17

La ilaha illa Allah. Now, if a person says La ilaha illallah, it has to be obviously, coming willingly, and has to be sincerely, the more willingly it is mean out of love. And no one is forcing you, but you want to say it. And if you say something with that intent, you follow it up with deeds and actions, right? So the more sincere you are, the more likely that you will demonstrate that sincerity in how you live. Am I right?

00:22:18--> 00:22:19

Or no?

00:22:20--> 00:22:38

Right? Like if you're sincere about something that I believe, take a worldly costs, whatever calls you want. And he says, I believe in this cause, I believe in fighting for the poor, let's say, I believe in equality. They, how are we going to judge the sincerity of that statement?

00:22:39--> 00:22:40

By looking at what

00:22:41--> 00:22:49

your actions and how you live? If we see that you're saying that you're for the poor, but then you're not doing anything for them? What do we say?

00:22:50--> 00:23:07

I don't know. Really, if you're sincere, you may have something in your heart. But I don't see anything in your life to reflect this. So sincerity and pronouncing a cause and supporting a cause requires that you do it. Follow it. Okay. Let's suppose that you're saying that you're a vegetarian.

00:23:08--> 00:23:15

And I really believe in killing animals as a crime and then I see you eating a burger. A meat burger, right? Not a meatless burger. What do I say?

00:23:17--> 00:23:41

I mean, I don't know. Maybe you're weak. I mean, people sin, right? In vegetarian sense, that is a sin. Maybe you are weak, maybe you still have a belief, but you're not really strong in their belief. Or maybe you're a hypocrite possible. So if you have sincerity in Islam, we can just say sincerity and all licencia and that's it, and nothing else proves it. No. So if there is if loss,

00:23:42--> 00:24:12

and mental enough, say out of love, La ilaha illa, meaning you understand what it is, Allah worship anybody other than Allah and all the consequences of not fear anyone more than Allah or love anyone more than Allah or rely on anyone more than Allah. trust anyone more than ALLAH that also should be reflected in your life. If you say this out of sincerity and love, you will be the person happiest with the intercession of the prophets. allottee was seldom and why is that? Because if you really fulfill it to the end,

00:24:13--> 00:24:40

know that there are some, as we said, about the 70,000 who will enter Jannah without any questioning. So as soon as the Prophet salallahu Salam intercedes so that Allah would judge between people what happens to those people, the antigen, so they're the happiest because they fulfilled their either Illallah from their hearts. So as soon as they receive the Shiva, they get into Jana.

00:24:41--> 00:24:59

Maybe we're not those people. Maybe you are people who did commit sins and we did not feel really fulfill Leila to that extent. Perhaps there are people in hellfire and there will be who c'est la ilaha illallah but they're still have sins that they have to pay for. It say the stronger law

00:25:00--> 00:25:04

Ilaha illa Allah the quicker that you will leave Jahannam

00:25:05--> 00:25:45

or the if La Ilaha illa Allah is strong despite the since you may never enter Jannah so the prophets Allah Salam has successive intercessions if you remember right and two sessions for those who deserve to enter Hellfire not to enter it or for those who entered Hellfire to be saved from it and they are what degrees that people with the greater Iman and then lesser Iman and lesser Eman. So the greater your Eman the faster you will receive that intercession of the prophets Allah Allah is Allah and the faster that you will leave hellfire, see understand why you would be the happiest with other prophets intercession if your Eman is greater

00:25:46--> 00:25:53

because you receive the intercession faster, the greater your Eman the faster that intercession will be received.

00:25:54--> 00:26:14

And that tells you also that the way to get the intercessors the intercession Scheffer at Rasulullah sallallahu wasallam is by doing what? Completing your iman and completing your toe heat. If you say as some say in poetry or whatever, yeah rasool Allah He Shiva Elena or messenger of Allah give us Chifa

00:26:16--> 00:26:26

Tayyab rasool Allah is Allah Allah wa salam now Can he hear you? Absolutely not. Right? Absolutely not. They are Who are you talking to?

00:26:28--> 00:26:33

And the prophets Allah Allah Selim himself when he wants to secede, whom does he asked?

00:26:34--> 00:26:43

Allah Azusa, so if you want the shefa of rasool Allah is Allah Azza wa sallam, there are two things one, ask Allah for it, so that you'd be worthy of it.

00:26:44--> 00:26:52

Because Allah azza wa jal does not allow intercession unless he approves, the one who intercedes and the one that they're interested in for.

00:26:54--> 00:27:09

So if you want to be included, ask Allah for it. But also do your part and complete your email and and complete La ilaha illAllah Muhammadan rasul Allah because then you will receive the Shiva of Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.

00:27:12--> 00:27:15

Now, the following Hadith

00:27:17--> 00:27:29

he said Rasulullah sallallahu Sallam in it Allah indeed Allah mu f your ally nadie Hello, gentlemen, how Afro and the agenda to hula, as I know the person who will be the last to leave hellfire.

00:27:30--> 00:27:34

The last to leave hellfire and the last to enter Jannah

00:27:35--> 00:27:49

so between heaven and hell, he'd be the last person to leave and the last person to enter. He says the ledger alone. Yeah, hello to him in a nerdy Nari kubwa. He says it will be a man who exits from hellfire leaves it crawling

00:27:51--> 00:28:03

for kulula who in her potholing Jana, so Allah will tell that person go and enter Jannah and there's more detail to this that will follow insha Allah shortly because there's a hadith that is longer.

00:28:04--> 00:28:08

So Allah tells him to go and enter Jannah via T FIU. Hallo Allah here and

00:28:09--> 00:28:17

so that man goes when he goes to gender after Allah tells him to go to Jana. He perceives it who thinks that gender is for

00:28:18--> 00:28:19

that there is no space for him?

00:28:21--> 00:28:23

For your Joe for your Hulu to be worth it to him well.

00:28:25--> 00:28:31

He says he goes back to Allah zoton And he says he Allah I mean I went there I comes back and he says the ally found it to be full.

00:28:33--> 00:28:39

For the record with Halford holy agenda for Yachty half a year yo Lee and Hamill

00:28:40--> 00:28:42

let's switch it here

00:28:44--> 00:28:45

for you are you looking for

00:28:46--> 00:28:52

fire to fire cool, we are a big to handle so he goes to Allah as it tells him.

00:28:53--> 00:29:06

And Allah says no, go and enter. He goes back he says it's full. He theses that it's full. He goes back to Allah as origin. Then Allah tells him in her potholing Jana for inelegant Mithila dunya wa shallot and fairly her

00:29:07--> 00:29:15

so Allah tells him in the last time he says no, go enter Jannah and you will have the like of dunya and 10 times that.

00:29:17--> 00:29:27

So the man said at this hello mini I'll talk to her comin new intern Malik. So the man says, Are you making fun of me? Are you mocking me and you are the king?

00:29:28--> 00:29:52

So the prophets of Allah Azza wa sallam he says falafel drive tourists. Rasool Allah Heba. Haga had the budget no idea what Ghana ukara Danica Haley Jana Tieman Zilla, so they said we saw the messenger Salah hottie or seldom smile after saying this until we saw his teeth and it used to be said, this is the person who is of least station on the Day of Judgment.

00:29:53--> 00:29:58

So why did the prophets Allah Allah wa salam smile

00:29:59--> 00:30:00

is because

00:30:00--> 00:30:33

of what that man said and what he's receiving. Because that man couldn't believe himself. He just came out of hellfire. How did he come out of hellfire? Barely. And you will see I mean later in the Hadith, right? The process that he goes through, but barely because he's crawling is not he's not standing, he's crawling. So barely, he made it out. And just by ending cannabis, just exiting the hellfire, that in itself is a victory. I'm just least done with that type of life. Allah knows how many

00:30:34--> 00:30:38

years he may have spent in it. Finally, I'm done with this ordeal.

00:30:40--> 00:30:48

So Allah tells him go to Jannah, he goes to January he finds it empty things it's empty, comes back and forth, back and forth. But the last one when he says,

00:30:50--> 00:31:03

when Allah tells him go and enter Jannah and you will have that, which is equal to the dunya and 10 times that. Why does he say Are you mocking me or making fun of me and you're the king?

00:31:04--> 00:31:12

What is it? Why does he say that? Good? I mean, obviously that is not a proper way to speak to Allah azza wa jal, but why does he say this?

00:31:14--> 00:31:15

I hung out of hell.

00:31:17--> 00:31:42

That's complete disbelief. And he think of, you know, I don't think we can experience something like that. But think of someone who are you taking from a ghetto, let's say taking from you know, an absolute nothingness. And you take him without him being ready for what's gonna come next. And you put him in a mansion where the richest man on earth used to live and you say, this is now yours?

00:31:43--> 00:32:25

There is a bit of a period of disbelief that should follow is how could this even translate? And how could this be possible, going from nothing to all of this, that he'll tell that person will just said that to me, so you're just you're probably making fun of me here. This cannot be true, that transition cannot be true. And that is Dunia only, so to go from the punishment of hellfire, which is in itself beyond any punishment in the dunya. So the degrees are greater than the degrees of difference in the dunya. Right? The punishment of hellfire is beyond any punishment in the dunya. So you go from that to a place where you have the life of the dunya 10 times.

00:32:27--> 00:32:42

Can you imagine having the entire dunya just for yourself just one time? Can you even imagine it? How much money would you have? What access Do you have have to luxury and joy and ease? How much would you have?

00:32:44--> 00:32:49

The 10 times as we said before, there is no single person on this earth who had owned all of the dunya

00:32:51--> 00:33:35

the lowest person in Jannah gets 10 times the dunya that is what is amazing. That's why he couldn't believe it and he say you're making fun of me like I'm nothing and you're the king and why you mock me and it's not mocking but Allah is telling him what he is he is gonna get. And that's why Rasul Allah is Lord, he was alum, smiled, and smile and only smiled. He showed his teeth meaning that if he's really pleased Allah He is Salatu was Salam, he'd smile like that. He chose it. He doesn't laugh at a salatu salam he smiles. So when he's smiling, showed his teeth mean he's really pleased pleased with that response, and pleased also at the mercy of Allah zodion that if this is giving to

00:33:35--> 00:34:04

the least, the lowest person, what do you think about those in the middle? And what do you think with those at the top Subhanallah Yanni, what the Tuni the dunya times 100. Now you're going into things that we did not experience and you will be see and you'll be baffled by the possibilities of joy. So the beauty of it is that again, it doesn't matter what you don't have here.

00:34:05--> 00:34:37

You will have all of it there. So do be patient. With Allah's commands, be patient with Allah's decrees, we patient with things in life, that not going the way that you want them to go. If Allah gives you an opportunity to do things better, do them better. We're not saying to a person, stop trying to improve your life do it. But when you find that a door is closed and there is no more opportunity to regain what you want it or make up for things that you've lost, delay that gratification till

00:34:38--> 00:34:50

the next life and don't kill yourself out of sadness and anger and just basic regret. Allah azza wa jal will give you a lot more than what had been taken from you.

00:34:51--> 00:34:57

And the last kind of partial Hadith in this chapter is when an account again we encountered this

00:34:58--> 00:34:59

is where an Abbas and

00:35:00--> 00:35:10

As the messenger SallAllahu wasallam, hidden the fact that about our living be shaped, and Abbas was the uncle of the Prophet sallallahu Sallam is telling asking the prophets Allah to sell them. Did you help Abu Talib with anything?

00:35:11--> 00:35:58

And we encountered this hadith before where the Prophet sallallaahu Salam, he said because of my intercession, I will tell you they will be at the shallow end of hellfire right where they will be to embers underneath his feet. Or he will be in the shallow end of hellfire that will reach his ankles and from that his head would be boiling. So Abu Talib will not be immersed not in the middle of hellfire but in the shallow and the fire only touches what his feet up to the ankles and from that his head would be boiling. Now, maybe we'll low and then why does Buhari repeat this in particular here because he wanted you to show you show you the contrast between the lowest person in

00:35:58--> 00:35:59

Jannah

00:36:01--> 00:36:21

and the lowest or that lowest person agenda and the lowest person in hellfire, the contrast between them so the lowest person and Jana mean with the lowest reward has 10 times the reward of the dunya the lowest punished person and hellfire is standing in fire and from that his head is boiling.

00:36:23--> 00:37:12

You see the contrast? how big that is? It's very significant. And that is a confirms what Allah azza wa jal says in the Quran, where he says 100k for for Donna about the home and above when he went to Cuba Raja Raja tinware Akbar route of the law. So he says look, meaning in the dunya, how we favored some over others. They just look around in the masjid outside the mist in the city of worldwide, how we favorite some over others. Some are healthy, some are sick, and some are healthy, like they didn't know much illness in their life. And some are sick, they knew illness most of their life. Right? And some are so rich, they don't know they don't know what to do with their money and some

00:37:12--> 00:37:58

are so poor, they don't know where they're gonna get their next meal that's available in the dunya. Right? So Allah Allah says under kafer look how we have favored and varied people from this to that from this to that tall, short, very tall, very short, very strong, very weak, very differences are clear. Then Allah says, What LF hirato Baroda Raja Tim workboat of the law. But the hereafter is greater in degrees and greater indifference. There are differences in the dunya, but they're not as great as the differences in the athfield. Still, right? Both the rich and the poor our life. Still no matter how difficult life is, it's not as difficult as jahannam.

00:37:59--> 00:38:04

And still, it doesn't matter how good life is in the dunya is not as good as

00:38:05--> 00:38:12

Jana. So the degree of difference between the good and the bad in the era is far greater than the one that is here.

00:38:14--> 00:38:18

So even though you might look at and you're not supposed to.

00:38:19--> 00:38:22

Alright, look at those who have what you don't have.

00:38:24--> 00:38:34

Console yourself with the following. I may not have what they have. But if I obey Allah zodion I'll be far ahead in the next life.

00:38:35--> 00:38:41

And plus what they have is not as great as what I could potentially gain.

00:38:42--> 00:38:48

So don't trap yourself by looking at what people have versus what you don't or they are

00:38:50--> 00:39:07

rich and I'm poor. They apparently happy and I'm sad he's married and I'm not they have children and I don't his job is good, but I'm not. Yeah, there are differences. But do you really want to compete you really want to excel you want to want to really prove yourself you really want to get something that is going to last that

00:39:09--> 00:39:13

Excel over there because if you get it you'll be ahead of everybody.

00:39:14--> 00:39:53

And you will have more than everybody and you'll forget about the less that you had here buy the more that you have there. So I think this is what I hire him Allah wanted to show this is the least punished person and think about the difference between him and a degree higher the person who is in Jannah how different they are. And if that is the only difference between them and they are probably are the closest right? Would not that person in hellfire safety himself if I had just made better choices and had better friends and where was more patient? I could have just jumped to Jana instead of being here.

00:39:54--> 00:39:59

So may Allah Azza DeLuna save us from that kind of fate and may

00:40:00--> 00:40:03

Allah is the didn't make us of the inhabitants of Jana. I mean,

00:40:04--> 00:40:05

the following Hadith

00:40:07--> 00:40:15

comes in the following chapter 51 Bourbon or Serato, destroy jahannam. And it's just one Hadith, but it's a long Hadith.

00:40:16--> 00:40:20

And we'll get what we can't in sha Allah from it today.

00:40:21--> 00:41:06

So the challenge the title of the chapter is a set out to destroy Jahannam or Surat is the bridge of hellfire, or the bridge that is on top of hellfire. So there is this bridge that everybody needs to cross I'll sit out. And that is a bridge that will connect people or take people to Jannah but underneath is hellfire. And here we will have a description of the passage on that bridge. But before it the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam will tell us a few things about the day of judgment and what happens there. And it's preceded with a question how do we are a soul Allah He 100 Or have been i o multi Amma? They said O Messenger of Allah will we see Allah on the day of

00:41:06--> 00:41:06

judgment.

00:41:08--> 00:41:39

And that is, in a sense, it's a beautiful Hadith because you're constantly worshipping Allah has ordered without seeing him and hearing about Allah without seeing him about his glory about his names and attributes. So the believer just like that yearning that Musa alayhis salam had, that he wanted to see Allah azza wa jal with his own eyes, that's a yearning that the believers have that will eventually be able to see the one that I'm talking to all the time.

00:41:40--> 00:41:48

Okay, well I get to enjoy you know, that clients that beauty because we're seeing Allah has lived it is more beautiful than anything. The Giver of beauty

00:41:49--> 00:42:06

is more beautiful than anything that is beautiful. And Allah azza wa jal is more complete and perfect. And we said that and another Hadith, that the people of Ghana will not be given anything that they would love and like more than gazing at the face of Allah xojo.

00:42:08--> 00:42:10

So, all the food,

00:42:11--> 00:42:20

all the drinks, all the family all the gold or the silver, all the musk, everything in Jana, as beautiful as it is, Allah as though it is what

00:42:21--> 00:42:53

more beautiful than that. So when they just look at Allah azza wa jal just forget about all this. So imagine that there is this yearning longing to just see Allah xuejun Right. And so they will say, will we be able to see Allah on the Day of Judgment? So the prophets Allah had said no, he says, Hello to Darwin efficiency Lisa doing a has to have called hula suit Allah. It says, if there is a sun the sun is in the middle of the sky and there are no clouds. Do you find this comfort?

00:42:55--> 00:43:37

Or any obstacles in looking at the sun? They said no. Sun, the middle of the sky. No clouds. Do you see clearly and easily they said yes. Hello hello to the Runa Phil coma related battery. Lisa, do you know who sahab cannula rasool Allah is the day of the moon, when it's full, are no clouds. Do you have any obstacle or discomfort and all of you seeing the moon could be anywhere right? You don't need to stand next to each other. You're not going to be crowding each other. You see the moon easily? says yes. He says yes. Carla in Toronto yo ml pm Attica Dalek. It says you'll be able to see him on the Day of Judgment like that.

00:43:39--> 00:43:46

Now this is they say this should be horrible Yeti bureau. Yeah, this is how you will see not that Allah has voted as like the sun and the moon.

00:43:47--> 00:43:56

But the ease by which you'll be able to see Allah as Odell is similar to the ease by they'll be able to see the moon and the sun.

00:43:57--> 00:44:21

So, based on this hadith, if we say, will we see Allah azza wa jal on the day of judgment? And the next life what do we say? Yes. And we see him with our eyes. Yes, that's what it says. So clear and simple. That's why the asked of sort of Allah is will we see he says, Can you see the sun? He says yes ECLC him like that. And you see the sun with what with your eyes

00:44:24--> 00:44:38

and the reason I'm emphasizing this, there's a background to it because there are people who will deny that so not gonna get into that. It's enough just to know the right belief and then inshallah we move on. Then he says a lot Lucilla mudra Allah Who NASA fire coulomb and Kenna yeah Bucha che and Phil yet

00:44:39--> 00:44:51

says that Allah will gather people. And here we're getting like scenes from the day of judgment of what will happen. Allah will gather people and he will say whoever used to worship something, let him follow it.

00:44:52--> 00:44:57

It's a power law, right? Because you used to follow it were here.

00:44:58--> 00:45:00

That's what you used to do. What

00:45:00--> 00:45:19

It's physically metaphorically. But if you used to worship something you would listen to it and it tells you what to do and you follow it. So he says, Now is the day where if you used to follow something, worship something now you follow, go after it by it will walk or wood will move, and you move behind it.

00:45:20--> 00:45:32

So, Fayette Fayetteville, Oman caribou shumsa Or it's about oh man, can I hear about your copper wire but oh man can I yeah Buddha talathi. So, those who used to worship the sun will follow the sun

00:45:33--> 00:46:01

and those who used to follow the moon will follow the moon and those who used to follow or worship idols will follow the idols Atharvaveda is a general designation that means anyone worshipped instead of Allah as a surgeon or with him, that is thought could be a human being or could be an idol says if he was to worship them, you follow them, so they follow? Where do they end up when they follow them?

00:46:02--> 00:46:11

Indiana, Indiana, right it doesn't say that here, but it says it somewhere else. So the sun will be taken and will be thrown in hellfire.

00:46:12--> 00:46:38

The moon will be taken it will be thrown in hellfire. Now of course this is not to punish the sun. Right? The sun will not feel pain. No, no. So it doesn't punish the sun. But why is this happening? Because if you used to worship something that you used to think that mighty the sun, the moon, this person that idle, and you see it dropping in hellfire and you drop behind then that is the clearest evidence now that you have with your own eyes, that it had no power.

00:46:40--> 00:46:54

Right, because it's burning. And it's in hellfire. And it led you to that. So Subhanallah I mean, it's it's a it's a good reminder for the person to constantly ask himself, who am I following? And where are they taking me?

00:46:55--> 00:47:19

Are they taking me to the pleasure of Allah Zota or not? So this could be an idol could be another religion or within the religion itself? Who are you following? And as long as that thing or one is taking you to Allah azza wa jal, you're fine but they're taking you away from understand that they could be leading you to a destructive path. So worshipping the sun on the moon, they lead their power lead, they lead there, okay.

00:47:21--> 00:47:38

So what happens to the believers? He said, I mean, Salatu was Salam. Ala Watarrka hero METU fee hamona Afia Kula, so this OMA remains, so those who used to worship other than Allah azza wa jal, they leave one by one who remains, he says this ummah

00:47:40--> 00:47:51

and this also could mean the believers in general Muslims in general from the time of Adam to Muhammad Sallallahu sin so it can mean all the believers and but also among them are the hypocrites.

00:47:53--> 00:48:30

And then the hypocrites will be separated. Okay later, where Allah as the dude will give the believers light and believers will follow that light and the hypocrites will try to follow and Allah azza wa jal will stablish a barrier between them and they could not enter and follow the believers after but so they believe that hypocrites stay with the believers but they will be separated later. Here's the thing that follows Caliph at him Allah houfy of ad Surah tility or a phone of a guru or a book on fire coluna oh the biller him and her them account owner had the tea Nora buena for either an aura buena or off now.

00:48:32--> 00:48:55

So he says so Allah azza wa jal comes to them. And I want you to listen to this carefully so that you understand it. So he says Allah azza wa jal comes to them in an image other than the image that they know. So he says, I am your rub. So they say we seek Allah's refuge from you. We will stay here until our rub comes. So when our rub comes, we will know Him.

00:48:56--> 00:49:13

I laugh at him, Allah Hafiz. Surah telethia the phone, then Allah will come to them in the image that they know. And he will say I am your Rob and they will say you're under a bonafide TV owner. He says you are our Rob and he will follow you. What's happening here is that this is a test for the believers on the day of judgment.

00:49:14--> 00:49:18

And this is where Allah azza wa jal to see who was really

00:49:19--> 00:49:23

devoted and knowledgeable in his worship and who was shaky.

00:49:24--> 00:49:55

Who would what, just follow whatever. And who really followed Allah xojo. So it says here Allah comes to them in an image other than the image that they know. So what is this image other than the image that they know? This there are two possible things here, either the first is that the believers saw Allah azza wa jal first, before this incident. So when Allah comes here in the second time as a test, the image is different. Allah puts an image to them, that is different speaks to them, but they don't recognize them.

00:49:56--> 00:49:59

So that's why they said we saw Allah before and

00:50:00--> 00:50:20

then we will wait for Allah that we saw before. That's the one that we worship. So that is their test because they saw before. And now it's not the same image. The second explanation is that the image that comes the image that Allah azza wa jal has for them, for which they reject. They recognize that this couldn't be Allah zoodle Because Allah is unlike anything.

00:50:21--> 00:50:26

So if they see something similar to creation, they say what? That's not Allah says.

00:50:28--> 00:50:41

And that's why knowledge is important, by the way. And Eman is important not only knowing things, as we said before, right, a lot of people know the right and wrong. But when it comes right down to it, they forget.

00:50:42--> 00:51:16

So at that time, which is a testing time, if you don't have Eman plus knowledge, you will waver, you will follow anything. So yes, they say a duniya dato. Bella, the dunya is the daughter of test but the hero is partially to, there are still some tests in the field. And that's one of them. So whether they saw Allah azza wa jal first, and now the image is different, or they did not see Allah zoton before but now they recognize this is good and be Allah. They survived that test. They say well, not going to follow

00:51:17--> 00:51:19

until Allah comes.

00:51:20--> 00:51:26

And another narration it said, it says we've separated ourselves from people in the dunya when we needed them the most.

00:51:27--> 00:51:38

To stay true to the worship of Allah and we're not moving now. Until we see Allah has Xeljanz so when they come and they see Allah, they follow him Subhana Allah to Allah because they're supposed to cross

00:51:39--> 00:51:40

the Sierra

00:51:42--> 00:51:55

so caliphate but oh no, so they follow Allah as well. You throw Bucha Soon Allah Johanna, and bridge will be established on jahannam. So to be able to reach heaven, we have to cross that bridge and underneath is hellfire.

00:51:57--> 00:52:02

Hello rasool Allah is Allah Lucena for Hakuna a woman Youjizz. I'll be the first person to cross.

00:52:03--> 00:52:12

What do I owe Rosalie Yama, even Allahumma. Selim, Selim and the supplication and the prayer of the messengers of Allah then is your Allah Savior Allah save?

00:52:13--> 00:52:20

Because what are they seeing here? They're seeing their own meme. They're seeing all of humanity crossing.

00:52:21--> 00:52:42

Can you imagine such a crossing on such as Iraq that we said before, that it is thinner than a hair and sharper than the edge of a soul? And yet, all of humanity have to cross and imagine the billions of people waiting to cross and imagine seeing and feeling and knowing that Hellfire is underneath?

00:52:43--> 00:53:13

And now it's your turn to cross? And how fast will you cross? And how safe will you be? Right? That is an alarming sight. If you just think about it. If you really think about it, that is one of the greatest tests that humanity will will witness nothing in this dunya will be equal to it. Because this is your test if you cross Jana if you slip hellfire. And not only not only that this slot is

00:53:15--> 00:53:48

is thin and it's sharp and it's hard to cross. But he sits OLALIA was in the movie he killer leap with Lucia key Sudan. And he says it has hooks like the thorns of a Sudan. He says Did you see the thorns of Assad then? They said oh yes, Mr. Minister of Oil Yes, messenger of Allah. He says yes, they are like the thorns like for knee. Like that plan that is called a sedan except that no one knows how big they are and how thorny they are except Allah xojo. Guinea, it's not enough that it is that thin and that

00:53:50--> 00:53:58

sharp, it has hooks. There are catching people as they pass. Right? So

00:53:59--> 00:54:02

and he says for Doctor Who NASA, the family him,

00:54:03--> 00:54:53

for doctor for NASA, it will catch people because of the bad things that they used to do. So if a person is a believer, righteous man, righteous woman, what happens the past so quickly, so fast, so easily. This doesn't disturb them. It's like lightning, like the speed of light, maybe right very fast, or like riding a very fast horse, or like running. This doesn't disturb. It doesn't disturb at all. But then if a person had been sinful, he'd be slow enough. Right? And then these hooks will catch him. And these hooks Subhan Allah Allah only knows how they are and they are hooks with thorns in them as well. For me normal mobile Kobi, Amelie. So among those who are among the pastor's are

00:54:53--> 00:54:59

those who will be destroyed because of their deeds meaning pulled, taken by these hooks and pulled down to help

00:55:00--> 00:55:34

hire women homegirl Mahara Duluth, Maya Angelou and among them are the ones who will be cut, and then they will survive. So those there are those who will be grabbed, and they fall down into hellfire. They can't continue. And those who will be hurt along the way will have to delve, Allahu Allah will have the means that they're being cut here and there. But eventually they'll make it. They could be people who are crawling, or a person who walks them falls, walks and falls, wax and falls. So in itself, it's an ordeal. And the owner might have said,

00:55:35--> 00:55:42

the speed and the agility and the ease by which you'll be able to cross resembles how you were on the spirit in this dunya.

00:55:44--> 00:55:56

If you're really on the straight path in this dunya and you're staying away from the wrong and you're doing the right and you're struggling and it's a struggle and we understand it's a struggle, but your payment for that struggle is easy. Then

00:55:57--> 00:56:38

he said remember we said that choice choices always come with either a price, okay, or a reward based on what that choice is. So you deny yourself in the dunya over there you see why you've done it, you cross easily. Nothing disturbs you. You give yourself whatever you want in this dunya you pay for it with a hook here and the hook there. That is the hook of this sin. That is the hook of that sin unless ALLAH forgives, unless you repent, this sin that sin this sin that sin that's the ordeal of crossing the Scylla and imagine that each one of them could be the one that you say that could take me down and if not the next one could take me down and Will I make it to the end Subhan

00:56:38--> 00:56:41

Allah and you see people in front of you falling

00:56:42--> 00:56:44

for you. So

00:56:45--> 00:56:47

the prophets of Allah hottie or Sydenham

00:56:48--> 00:57:31

kala to either follow Ramadan coulda been a bad day when Allah azza wa jal settles all the affairs of people, judges between all people, what are they in? Yeah, he Jimena Nariman. Arada a new curriculum and Karina Yeshua to Allah Allah in the LA Amara mela Iike you flew home So when Allah has just settled and just as everybody and Allah Allah wants to after the intercession that we talked about before Allah wants to take from hellfire those who say that ilaha IL Allah who are still in hellfire. So they have this kind of minimum Eman. They see la isla in Allah and have they have the least of iman. He commands the angels to take him out. Okay. Hi there for ya the foreigner

00:57:31--> 00:57:38

home where Allah mighty authority sujood so the angels will know them by the trace of the marks of sujood

00:57:39--> 00:58:03

well haram Allahu Allah nerdy and Aquila miningpany Adam Atheros sujood. And Allah had forbidden that the fire should burn from the child of Adam, the trace of the solute that he used to make or she used to make. Meaning how will the angels know because it says continues in the Hadith for you to do the homework for them to hash when they get them out. They're completely burned.

00:58:05--> 00:58:20

Right and we talked about this before and you will see in sha Allah a reminder of it. So that when they get those people out who say La Ilaha illa Allah but they are in hellfire, and they spent so much time in it when they get them out there what it's like a piece of coal black

00:58:22--> 00:58:37

How do the angels know that these are believers that should get out of hellfire? How do they get a foreigner home? Hello by the traces of sujood because Allah azza wa jal yes that fire could burn everything but not the tree substitute.

00:58:39--> 00:58:43

And the scholars have said it's either means the forehead

00:58:44--> 00:58:54

or either means any part of the body that was instituted meaning the hands and the feet and what have you that will be excluded. So they're off so the body could be punished but not those parts

00:58:55--> 00:58:55

right

00:58:57--> 00:59:05

so the Allameh have said you know you're not kind of concluding from that is how are they going to know you? If you don't pray?

00:59:07--> 00:59:26

Right? That's why Salah is serious, like no matter what no matter what, I don't care how bad you are, how bad you want to be. How bad you think bad is good. It doesn't matter for you. But there is one thing that you don't leave what is that?

00:59:27--> 00:59:59

You don't leave your solar at doesn't not matter if God forbid Yeah, and may Allah forgive us on okay if you drunk 24 hours it didn't matter. Right? But you don't leave your Salah if you leave your Salah and somebody said how are they going to find you in there? Because then you will be completely waste authorities to do that you had so it doesn't matter how hard life gets or how distracting life gets on how you how great you think you are. When it's time your for Salah you make you do and you pray

01:00:00--> 01:00:16

You make you will do and you pray. Perhaps that so that saves you in the dunya or perhaps at least it saves you were in the earthhero so he says they know them and i That's why we say it doesn't matter it should be like a necessity and obsession. I don't care what's happening Salah

01:00:18--> 01:00:26

and how much how long does it take for me by the way, I don't want you to like pray long Salah how five minutes, right? So five and five is how much?

01:00:27--> 01:01:10

25 minutes. And that is you know, even being optimistic. You're being optimistic with five minutes right? Then Okay, two minutes. Two minutes right three minutes to intuit 510 10 minutes a day. No Sooners? No I've got nothing but 10 minutes a day you can give 10 minutes a day to invest for your hereafter when you say I'm busy 10 minutes lower quality that's it. You give 10 minutes for what you what you wasted without knowing. Just give 10 minutes but the shaytaan makes it heavy push yourself have the traces of sujood on your forehead. Not the actual physical one that we see here that summit not necessary but I mean that when Allah azza wa jal is going to you wouldn't be on the day of

01:01:10--> 01:01:21

judgment and the angels have a trace of sujood on your body. So it could save you. Salah Sala Sala Salah cannot be and you can imagine that your life could be good without your Salah.

01:01:22--> 01:02:08

And there is significant I swear it's significant that Allah the Prophet, Allah is seldom said that that is the mark of the believer who will be saved anyway. So they come out completely burned. And so the Prophet sallallahu sallam said, then a water water will be poured on them. And that is the water of life. Matt will hire fire in Bhutan and a battle hit but if he Jaime resales so they spring out quickly, like a seed on the banks of a river. And we explained that before that the seeds on the banks of a river typically grew up very quickly. So like that they come back to life. The spray of spring back to live very quickly. Here it says we have Colorado we don't big l&r now remains one

01:02:08--> 01:02:26

person facing hellfire. That's the guy that we talked about the last person to leave. So he's facing hellfire. Now you see the stages for your older era. Asha binary hoo ha ha Connie. We're heartbroken Eva. Firstly for Gianna

01:02:27--> 01:02:33

it says here Allah. I've been nauseated, poisoned by its smell

01:02:34--> 01:02:45

and burned by its flames. Turn my face away from it. So he gets out. So this is how it it tells us right the first he gets out. But when he gets out he's still seeing what

01:02:46--> 01:03:03

he still sees hellfire. So he's out but it's still affecting him. So yeah, Allah This smell is killing me. Right I can take it and he's outside is that I can take the smell and the heat I can take the heat just move my face away from it.

01:03:04--> 01:03:08

So Allah azza wa jal said he continues he says fillet as

01:03:09--> 01:03:17

it continues to make that dua make that dua so there is dua. So it continues to make that dua then Allah azza wa jal says,

01:03:18--> 01:03:19

it says,

01:03:20--> 01:03:31

perhaps if I give you this, you'll ask me for something else after it says No, I swear by Your power and majesty This is the last thing that I will ask you. A says that's fine.

01:03:34--> 01:03:43

So Allah azza wa jal takes his face away from hellfire. Now he's not facing hellfire. He's facing what? Jana? So he stays like this for a while.

01:03:44--> 01:03:47

Then he says the Arab give me closer to Jana.

01:03:49--> 01:04:21

Then Allah says, Did you not promise me that that would be the last thing that you're going to ask me how treacherous you are. mean, you can't be trusted you just promised and you brought you broke your promise. So he says he continues to make that dua until Allah azza wa jal brings him closer to Jana. But is with the promise of what I'll give you this. But you promised me you're not going to ask for anything else. He says I promise you by your power and majesty. That's the last thing I'll ask you just get me closer to Jana. So

01:04:22--> 01:04:28

Allah as it brings him closer to the Jenna's heaven's door. Now we could see what's inside.

01:04:30--> 01:04:41

And I continue to be quiet for as long as Allah wishes for him to be quiet meaning for a while how long but eventually there's one he can be patient anymore. This is the Allah put me in Jannah

01:04:42--> 01:04:58

he says, Did you just promise that this will be the last thing you're asked me how treacherous you are. So he continues to make that to ya Allah azza wa jal, he will say let the journey shall take do not make me the most wretched of your creation.

01:05:00--> 01:05:14

is what his comparison is now between what people in Ghana and what I am. Although when he just left Hellfire In another Hadith it says, Allah had given me something that he did not give anybody else

01:05:15--> 01:06:02

and it tells you how our assessment is very different as human beings right? Because just strike before Allah knows you know how timeline has passed. When he left Hellfire he said what? I'm the most favored being that Allah had had because he had given me something didn't give anybody else he could see Allah's favor, Heaven and hellfire now I'm out. That is a great favor. But now he could see what comes next. So he says yeah, Allah don't make me the most wretched of your creation because he's outside and they're inside. Fella he has to get through. He continues to pray and ask continue to pray until Allah zoodle smiles at him for either like a Minho and we'll come back to this. If

01:06:02--> 01:06:48

Allah smiles at him That means he's allowed to enter for either dollar fee when he was inside to heaven. Pillar it will be set to Him meaning ALLAH will tell him, Turman them in Kedah, faith in Allah says wish for this see him wish so he will be also said and wish for this he wished for that fire. termina hatherton Katya IV Hill Imani, he continues to wish until he cannot wish anymore and who is reminding him? Allah says wished for this he wishes that he doesn't wish for that he wishes for this done. Wish for this. He continues to wish until what anything else is I can't think of anything else I've reached the end of anything I could imagine. So he Allah will say how the Laker

01:06:48--> 01:07:13

when we flew him out. He says you will have all of this and something like it with it meaning double. I will say the laundry over toward this hadith. He said I heard the messenger sallallahu alayhi wa salam say you will have this and 10 times what he said I've memorized this and like it with it. I will say it says I memorized more. That is this and 10 times more.

01:07:14--> 01:07:37

So of course, there are no contradictions right? Because 10 time is more and the scholars of Hadith say that there has the narrator has additional extra information that is reliable, both of them can be accepted. They don't contradict each other. So he will have everything that he had wished for multiplied by how much 1010 Times and other Hadith support that.

01:07:39--> 01:07:45

The beautiful part here is when he says he continues to pray until Allah smiles at him.

01:07:47--> 01:07:57

Now, when we say that Allah azza wa jal smiles we mean that Allah smiles but doesn't mean that Allah azza wa jal has a mouth like ours and teeth like ours. Know, though how does he smile?

01:07:59--> 01:08:18

Allah knows, but it's called a smile. And when people see it will recognize it as a smile. But it does not mean that he has a face like ours or teeth like ours. So you do not need to imagine that what do we get from it? You get that? You understand Allah azza wa jal better if you know that Allah azza wa jal smiles,

01:08:19--> 01:08:21

because what is his smile signify?

01:08:22--> 01:08:45

Pleasure and acceptance and kindness, isn't it? Like in humanity, and there are parallels that Allah made you understand him also through things that you see? Not like look like him? But things that make sense that if you see a human being who smiles at you, what do you feel comforted close to him? That he's kind he's merciful, right?

01:08:46--> 01:08:49

And that's how the Sahaba understood it. In other Hadith,

01:08:51--> 01:08:58

the Prophet sallallahu wasallam described he was talking about Allah azza wa jal, and then he said that he smiled, and Arabi a Bedouin,

01:08:59--> 01:09:19

a Bedouin, who is a simple man. Right? Practical. He said, our oil Dakota buena, Allah azza wa jal, our Rob smiles. He says yes, Carla, Linda at the moment Robin youth haha. He says, then we will not run out of favors coming to us from our Lord that smiles.

01:09:20--> 01:09:26

Because theoretically, you could have a God, right? This very stern,

01:09:27--> 01:09:59

very serious like a father. You could have a father and he is still your father, but very stern and very serious. You can really come close to him. Not very annoyed, not very comforting, still a great father, but not a father that smiles. But if somebody tells you your father or my father smiles, what does that mean? Can be close to him. And he's close to you and He listens to you, and he's merciful. So you want to understand what God is Allah azza wa jal, right, so the Sahaba that's why the Arabi asked him it was just a hobby.

01:10:00--> 01:10:19

Allah smiles. He says yes, this I know Allah better now, because of Allah smiles, the good things that come to us will never stop from a God that smiles. Because if you're a king and again, these these examples, probably a lot and make us understand better. A king who has all power earthly king doesn't have to smile dizzy.

01:10:21--> 01:11:03

He can be the meanest King, right? He doesn't fear you, he doesn't want anything from you. But if he smiles at you, and brings you closer and listen to you, what does that mean? He likes you and He loves you. And He listens to you and He will fulfill what you want. Because not because he needs to do this, because he loves to do that. Right? Because you're just nothing to him. So to Allah azza wa jal would like, most close to nothing. But he smiles at you. Means he loves you. Right? So we're not making this up, right? That's there in the Sunnah, right? So Allah azza wa jal likes you and Allah loves you, and Allah wants the best for you. Why does he smile? And imagine when you see that smile?

01:11:03--> 01:11:27

Like SubhanAllah? Sometimes we could have a terrible day but somebody smiles at you and what happens? Just the dress of the day brightens just because somebody smile. Imagine seeing Allah smila to Subhan Allah that means that it's your set. Hala, is it is it because he smiled at him? Where did he go, Jana? See, you want that smile from Allah azza wa jal. So yes, you will see, as Allah as everybody sees it,

01:11:28--> 01:12:10

Allah will smile. And it's an attribute that we believe and it's true, and that person will enter Jannah. And the last thing Shala will say is that a person might wonder not that there is need to wonder or ask this question, why does this person have to go through all of this? Right? I mean, so he gets out, and it's a process and there is this? Why does he have to go through not why then why not? As soon as he gets out? Allah tells him go to Jana. Right? Now, there is no answer to this, right? The hadith doesn't tell us but there are things that we know about Allah azza wa jal that could explain this which is first of all that Allah is just

01:12:11--> 01:12:55

right. We know that there are people as we just mentioned, will enter Jannah without any delay, right? So Allah Allah doesn't want to hold anybody back right. If your deeds and Allah's mercy coupled with Allah's Mercy carry you, okay, directly to Jana, nothing is gonna stop you. So if Allah is just and he is something must have stopped this man from getting all the way to Jannah things that he have done in the dunya maybe he made promises and he brought a broke them, Allah Allah, we don't know. Maybe he stopped people in righteousness, we don't know. But the things that are that process that he's going through is important for two reasons. All please, one for him and one for

01:12:55--> 01:13:19

us, for him to learn, and to see because that's part of his education. Right? You know, they say, Why do the believers have to go into hellfire is to get purified. Why do they need to be purified in hellfire because we've failed, or they fail to purify ourselves here.

01:13:20--> 01:13:25

So if you don't clean yourself here, you still need to be cleaned. Where is this going to happen?

01:13:26--> 01:13:41

To think of it as education, summer school, after hours, whatever, right? If you don't learn, you still need to spend time to learn. Otherwise, you're not ready to enter into Janna. So that person may have been learning,

01:13:42--> 01:14:28

learning what not to do or what to do, or paying for something that he had done in the dunya by what he is doing here. Right. So that's one. The other one that we learned from all of that is something for us right here. Our impatience, right, how dissatisfied we become with things that we own. As soon as long as I get this, what is it? I'll be happy. And then you get it and what happens? I'm not happy anymore. So I constantly happens. As soon as I get married, I'll be happy. As soon as I get kids, I'll be happy. As soon as I get promoted, I'll be happy. But none of the dunya will make you happy, right? Until you enter what what is the only thing that is going to make you happy, Jana,

01:14:29--> 01:14:39

that is it. Before that nothing will be satisfying. So if you approach the dunya thinking that that will be completely satisfying. It will hurt you.

01:14:40--> 01:14:47

It will really hurt you. I mean, if I marry that person, I'll be happy.

01:14:48--> 01:14:53

You've doomed yourself to be sad if you place all of your happiness on that person.

01:14:55--> 01:14:58

Because can can one person make you happy? All the time.

01:15:00--> 01:15:10

They have to upset you, they have to disappoint you because they're human beings, right? If I have a son or a daughter, I'll be happy. Could they be everything you want? Impossible?

01:15:11--> 01:15:26

The way am I gonna find this happiness, if I keep looking for it, looking for it looking for it, and I don't find it Alhamdulillah I find a lot of beautiful things in the dunya. But that happiness that fills my heart completely.

01:15:27--> 01:15:33

I, you know, like, I know I'm taking a little bit extra time, but you guys delete Aisha. So if we have time,

01:15:35--> 01:15:37

someone who's hungry,

01:15:38--> 01:15:48

and you're looking for that good meal, and you go bounce from one restaurant to the other. And you keep eating, but none of them is good enough. had that experience.

01:15:49--> 01:15:56

Right? None of them and he could tell yourself, I want just that one good meal that I can eat and say, That's it.

01:15:57--> 01:16:03

That's it, I'm done with it. So in the dunya we're all are looking for this one meal.

01:16:04--> 01:16:47

In the face of every bit that we see only give me this one thing that will make me happy. But don't think that you will find it with any created thing or being it can't. You'll find it with Allah zodion In Jana. That's why this person keeps asking and asking and asking because it's never enough until you enter Jannah and that is what you see the difference. Like before enters Jana. Hey, I gave you this. He took it but then after some time what I'm gonna stay forever just next to hellfire by next agenda forever just next to Jana and everybody else has Jana. She always has more to ask you enter Jana. What happens? I cannot ask any more.

01:16:48--> 01:17:05

And that's why I asked Allah azza wa jal to put us in a place where we don't have to ask anymore and we cannot ask anymore. So this insha Allah concludes our session for today in sha Allah will pick it up in sha Allah. And next week the last let me see in sha Allah if you have any questions, let me know
