The Real Reason For Our Excitement For Ramadan

Bismillah Alhamdulillah wa salatu salam ala Rasulillah. Brothers and Sisters in Islam, we are only hours away from Ramadan. And one very important question that needs to be discussed is what is the real reason for our excitement? If you search deep down you find that among the Muslim ummah, people are excited for the occasion of Ramadan. But what is the real excitement? What are we joyful about? What are we excited about? Some people are excited because in the nights of Ramadan, there are moments of Hangouts and gathering watching TV series. Some people are excited because Ramadan for them is a season of business and money and profit and so on. But the believers excitement should not

be anything related to worldly matters. Allah azza wa jal in fact condemned this in the Quran when he said we're very low but higher dunya Allah azza wa jal condemn people that showed excitement to the point where they became arrogant with what they have been given of this world, the life and its pleasures and luxuries. In fact, the actual excitement of the believer for the occasion of Ramadan is that he celebrates and he is joyful because this is a month of closeness to Allah azza wa jal. We are happy and excited for Ramadan, because it is a month of mercy and forgiveness. It is a month in which we have an opportunity to be freed from the fire. This is people that were bound to the fire

then Allah azza wa jal freeze that we are excited because this is a month of Quran the Quran was revealed in Ramadan, and as a result we connect closer to Allah azza wa jal through his word. This is the real reason for why we're excited. that is why they should be excited and celebrate. And the virtue of Allah the fever of Allah is Islam and everything that Allah has taught us in Islam, including Ramadan, and ultimately at the mercy of Allah is the Quran. That is the reason for why we celebrate that's the reason for why we're excited. And if that's your excitement and your joy in the heart, then in sha Allah Allah, you will take maximum benefit from this month.
