Alhamdulillah, we thank Allah subhanaw taala for another opportunity to reflect upon His mercy, His mercy to creation, in sending the last message out Qur'an and sending a messenger, Prophet Muhammad peace and blessings be upon him, the one who served as beiyang as a guide, as a clear evidence of the last revelation.
And that mercy extended around the world quickly within 100 years. It reached the four corners of the earth. It continued on and it traveled through ethnic groups and civilizations and societies. It was it withstood challenges on slots coming into the Muslim world,
it was able to continue, it was able to affect the lives in the minds of billions of people throughout the ages. And now in the 21st century, we find ourself in a very awkward type of situation. And that is that the Muslim world having such great potential
has reached the point of being over 26% of the earth's population. But even though this potential is there, the majority of Muslims are young people, our country's ally in strategic positions, much of the natural resources of the world, the gold and oil and the different minerals lie beneath Muslim lands.
We have a great history. We have 1000s of books written by scholars.
The book itself, the revelation I'll call n

And that is different than the other books that came before that at one point, where pure revolution, Revelation, and then after time and loss and the introduction of human concepts, they will not be original sources. Alhamdulillah the Quran is still with us. The authenticated sayings of Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him, is still with us His life was documented and understood more than any other individual in history.
With this potential,
with the youth with the resources with large armies
with strategic position, Islamophobia is on the rise. The illogical fear and hatred of Islam and the Crusader like attack is continuing in the Muslim world. And it is becoming more open and more brazen as time goes by.
In China, the Uighur Muslims, what was known as East Turkestan are suffering in this Xinjiang province. Over a million of the weekers have been put into concentration camps that are called re education centers. This is something which should shock the world. The armadas, the armies of the world should turn toward China to release these people.
How many countries in the world can a person in a religion be persecuted like this? families broken up the core and being desecrated? masjids ruined population being ethnically cleansed and yet very few are speaking openly about it.

us need to change. There has been too much emphasis on outward Islam.
Beautiful masjids I tuned in recently, to Medina live. And the camera was just showing the building, the beautiful architecture, the beautiful lamps, the rugs, the material things, as though that is the essence of Medina, when you look at the life of Prophet Muhammad SAW seldom, he was a very humble place. No beautiful rugs on the ground. No beautiful lamps. A very simple structure, but the faith was the beauty.
The man, it was the tequila, it was the love. It was the Brotherhood that was the beauty of this structure. And so the outward Islam,
judging a person based upon their color, judging a person based upon their material things, this has to change. Because Islam without substance is not going to solve our problems. It's not going to deal with this serious challenge that we are facing. And we are crying for help crying for change. has time is going by. Allah will not change the condition of a people until they change that which is in themselves.
And so how to bring about this change. How in the 21st century, in a practical way, can we begin to face the real issues on the ground with prophetic guidance. And a simple, humble Muslim once said,
so much emphasis on beards and, and dogs but doesn't the Pope of the Catholic Church, he has beautiful robes.
He has beautiful sewing done on his silk, but yet he's the leader of the Catholic Church of trinitarians. So much emphasis on the beard, but Fidel Castro, the leader of communist Cuba, had a beautiful beard, all of his life he cultured that beard,
but yet he was the leader of a godless movement. And so
the Hadith shows us that Allah is not looking at our bodies, not looking at our shapes, our appearances, whether you're tall, whether you're short, whether you're light skin, whether you're dark skin,
whether your clothes are made from the best fabrics, whether your coffee is tall,
whether your beard as long, Allah is not looking at that, but Allah is looking at our hearts and our deeds. And it's interesting that the heart is placed first,
because the heart and kulu singular is Kolb
and that is the conscience that is in a sense, the door to the soul.
It is the root of our feelings.
The root of our decision making. That is the heart so the order within says first your hearts
and on occasion when the prophet SAW seldom was was approached, a man said, Give me some advice. And he told him clearly his stuff the callback, ask your heart.
So the lump of flesh in our body is connected to our conscience
and that conscience, those feelings, the emotions
is what helps us to make the decisions in our life.

And that is not just physical heart. But it is the essence it is the conscience of the believers. It is the feelings it is how we approach issues. And so Allah does not look at your physical appearance, not emphasizing this, but your heart and then your deeds. And this is really crucial as well. Because your deeds
is the action and that is what is coming out of
and your feelings. And so the attention is not enough. And we see today it is not enough and Prophet Muhammad peace and blessings be upon him showed us when we are confronting evil like the evil that is around us he told us when Rahman C'mon Curran for yoga Yahoo. when the Muslims just look at what is happening is Oh, that's the world. That's the 21st century.
What can we do?
That feeling that that comes out of a believer, that means faith is gone as well? There is no more he man left inside of that individual.
And so we recognize the importance of the internal Muslim

And so we are praying to Allah subhanaw taala we are crying for change, crying for political change, economic change, for social change, for this oppression to be lifted off us. But we have to make a move. We have to start to face the demons inside of ourself. And you can't blame it on the outside forces. Because the outside forces Sheltie No, it's

But what are we doing as a reaction to this? How are we changing what is inside of us the negative perceptions of the world the feelings of tribalism, superiority over other people because of ethnicity or tribe, the feeling of racism, superiority over another person because of a race, because of race because of the color of the skin.
That has to change. The Muslim now world now as we have heard in the previous Hadeeth.

The fear of meeting Allah subhanaw taala when that concept comes in, when that outlook on the world comes in, then the individual is a material based person

Strength, that have more wealth, that have more communications power, appear to be overwhelming.
But when the next life is involved, when the transition is there when the concept in the mind of the individual is not stuck in this world, but it is connected to the next world, really realizing that there is a power above all of us, realizing there is a place that we are on our way to go to, when this is there, and understanding the justice of Allah subhanaw taala
then, the balance comes in the balance understanding
that we are living in the material world, but we ultimately are not of the material world. We are like Mousavi, we are like the traveler, as the province of Southern said, Be like, you know, be like a traveler.
Be like somebody who's just moving through this world, because we are moving through this world and time is moving rapidly. And we're seeing it in the 21st century move so unbelievably fast.
And so the balance is there, through the traditions, the balances there, through understanding our role in this world. as followers of the last prophet muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam has those who are carrying the book we're carrying in our minds, carry it in our hearts, when we should realize that the outward appearance of the individual as our Hadith is telling us this is not really what Allah is looking at.
This is not to say that we will now take off our Islamic clothing and show out to the world our private bots. This is not to say that we will shave our beard if we're under a little bit of pressure,
or that we will not appear to be Muslims. Because the Prophet so seldom did said did say meant to shut Bobby Coleman for a woman who, whoever appears like a people is one of them. But it is not the essence. It is not what is most important. What is most important is the hearts and the deeds. Allah subhanaw taala has blessed us with some time.
May Allah help us May Allah guide us and in this month of Ramadan, we are beginning this this series in we all accept our prayers and our fasting and lift the oppression of muscle Oxo and the Muslims throughout this world.
