Roaming Ramadan
lessons on the road. Today, I'm in the
UK in London and as of this moment
as I'm recording this video, I don't know
really if I'm gonna release this episode or
not. And, the reason is it involves a
person that I need to mention by name.
So, I'm not sure if I'm gonna release
it or not. If you watched it, it
means that I made Istikhara, I made Dua,
I consulted people and they've all approved that
I should release it. The man involved is
Mufti Ismail Mink. A dear friend of mine
that I consider as my real family member.
We we've known each other for so many
years and I just have this thing in
my heart that I wanna spit it out
and I wanna share it with the rest
of the world Insha'Allah Ta'ala. Now, if you
know Mufti Ismail Mink, if you have seen
him somewhere on the internet you would have
noticed that recently myself
and our senior doctor Mohammad Salah as well
as Mufti Ismail Mink we've been travelling a
lot together. I have known Mufti Mink for
many many years. Ever since we have started
our organization in Hong Kong City serving Islam
team. He he's been always supportive. He I
think he missed only one year. Now, we've
been we've been doing this conference for about
12 years and he's been always part of
it. Similarly, in the Philippines when we started
connecting Institute for the past 10 years, he's
been always coming every year. He never miss
out. Not just in Manila but also around
Mindanao Island and so on so forth. But
recently we've been travelling with other organizations
to Malaysia, to Ghana, in Africa,
in in Nigeria, and today in the UK.
And you may wonder
what is the secret of
this friendship
slash
work? But why are we so connected? Why
have we been working together for all this
long? And the real reason my brothers and
sisters is that Mufti Ismail Mink is not
a one man show Or let me rephrase
that. Mufti Ismail Mink does not like to
appear
or does not like to be presented
as a one man show. He always he's
been always saying this behind the cameras and
I'm not sure if he said it on
cameras or not but he's been always saying
that I'm not a politician
and I'm not a celebrity.
We are doing this work for Allah Subh'anaHu
Wa Ta'ala. What I have
maybe other people don't have and what other
people possess
maybe I'm lacking and so we complement each
other. And one of the things that Mufti
Ismail make has been doing
for people that he trusts, for people that
he believes in, for people that he really
admire
their work and so on was to push
them and introduce them to other people that
maybe they are not aware of
of their work and of of what they
have done so far. And I want to
share with you 2 or 3 stories insha'Allah.
1, number 1. The first story that I
myself was
shocked when I heard it was that we
were in Zamboanga City in the Philippines and
it happens that my room was right next
to Mufti Ismail Mings room. And the hotel
was so humble
very very poor in terms of facilities
And, the reason was not because the organization
was stingy or trying to find something cheap,
but rather, Zamboanga city is
located in a very hot
area in the Philippines where
safety is an issue.
And so, they wanted to put us in
a hotel that is very close to the
venue. And,
this hotel happened to be within that venue.
And that venue was the largest venue in
Zamboanga.
So, that's why we were in that very
humble simple hotel. We didn't mind but what
happened is
I was lying down on the bed and
apparently Mufti Ismail Meng was charging his phone
in the socket
which was connected to the landline phone,
which somehow was connected to my landline.
My phone landline in my own room And
he was calling somebody over on the phone
and I heard all the conversation from the
speaker coming from the phone. Now, I need
some
tech genius
who are watching this to tell me how
did this happen or how could this happen?
But this is exactly
what happened. I heard a conversation
that Mufti
Mink had with somebody in Nigeria. Now, you
may say brother,
why you did not like you know run
away or warned Mufti Mink? Because I actually
heard my name there. And when I heard
my name, I was I was a bit
shocked and I was a bit I was
also
emotional. I
was very happy to see that there is
a man who is Mashallah Tabarak Allah. Allah
had blessed with Allah. We don't want to
list the blessings in but you know maybe
what I mean. Allah had given him a
lot. Allah had blessed him so much with
the love of the people and so on
and so forth. We think
of someone else
who is not at that level at all.
That was the slave of Allah myself. So
I heard Mufti Usbain Bink talk to somebody
in Nigeria telling him my brother
you need to bring Wa'il Ibrahim to Nigeria
as soon as possible. He was talking to
a brother in Nigeria who
contacted me later on and invited me to
Nigeria
and that's why I made it to Nigeria
several times. This is Mufti Ismael If you
remember the episode where we talked about adding
values to others. This is Mufti Ismail Mink.
May Allah
protect his ears from listening to this. If
this video will reach out to him, may
Allah keep him as he is, may Allah
keep him humble like this. In fact, I
was talking to doctor. Muhammad Salah just a
few weeks I think or
less than a month or a month plus
ago. We had an event together. Muft
was with us in Malaysia. And an event
on the side, not the main event. One
of the organizers one of the, I think
the donors or something
invited Mufti Mink. He didn't invite me. He
didn't invite doctor Mohammad Salah. He invited Mufti
Mink for dinner and for a little bit
of reminder and stuff like that. And we
went, we were told to that we are
all going to meet that person we met,
gentleman, beautiful brother, Masha'Allah TabarakAllah. As soon as
we enter a poster
welcoming Mufti Ismail Mink. And by the way,
myself and doctor Salah, Alhamdulillah.
Those who don't know don't know. We are
so close to a point that when we
see the success of Mufti Menck,
we are making dua for him that may
Allah protect him and grant him goodness and
grant him much more than what he deserve.
I mean I mean I mean so we
never we don't feel even the least
anything within ourselves because he is highlighted.
May Allah give him more You Rabb. Genuinely
we love him for the sake of Allah
genuinely
we wanted nothing but his influence on the
Ummah to continue in the positive manner. Amin.
And forgive our shortcomings. If we are here
and there, we are human beings. But when
we arrived, this was the case. A big
poster,
his name welcoming him. And then,
we prayed, he led the salah and after
the prayer he told us to sit in
that venue. And in that venue there is
a big nice couch. And myself and doctor
Salah seeing that this event was on the
honor of Mufti Ismailing then we took aside
and we sat as
students of knowledge to learn from Mufti Ismail
Bank and we sat on the ground and
all of a sudden Mufti Ismail, may Allah
bless him. He took the microphone and he
invited me and doctor Mohammed salah to be
with him on the stage. And he said
listen, I could talk about many many things
for 30
30 minutes, 40 minutes. But I have 2
other friends of mine who are experts in
their own way. Doctor Mohammed Salih is our
senior.
He is a scholar. He is a scholar
of comparative fiqh and so on. He can
benefit us in great ways.
Why should we waste that? And we have
and then he introduced the slave of Allah
myself.
Wa'il Ibrahim who is expert in in behavioral
addictions and he start introducing me And he
did what he said he would do. He
spoke for 10 minutes and he said instead
of me talking 30 minutes, I'll give 10
minutes each and then we open the floor
for question and answer.
And wallahi it went so good not because
we were there me and the book of
Muhammadu Sallallahu but because just
we found that we really complement each other
in a very very
beneficial manner.

go out of his way and promote others
when he is the one being being sought
after. SubhanAllah. That's that's that's him. The same
thing, the story of me being in the
UK
is the story of Mufti Ismail Meng talking
to the organizers,
pushing them to bring me over because he
know
that Alhamdulillah,
I could offer something. This is Mufti Ismail.
The reason why I'm making this video now,
this is
clarifying my intention. We are not here to
praise any man. Mufti Ismail. May Allah protect
him. He might, you know, Allah Subhanahu Wa
Ta'ala might change his heart all of a
sudden and he becomes someone else. So we
don't praise the man,
We do not try to highlight the personality,
but we're trying to say here that Mufti
Ismail Mikh is doing his very best to
follow the path of Allah, to follow the
path of Islam, to follow the footsteps of
the prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wa sallam. So
this is Islam.
Islam is not selfish religion. Islam is not
encouraging us to just look after ourselves. That's
why the prophet Muhammad SAW.
None of you is truly a believer
unless and until you love for your brother
what you love for yourself. Exactly. This is
what we have seen from Mufti's Mainlink. Habibi,

not mind make the dua that the prophet
sallallahu alaihi wasallam taught us when you feel

serve them and to make them shine

you always love goodness for others. You always
put others before your needs. May Allah protect

essence,
the concept, the teaching, the behavior
that we wanted to emulate,
which is based on Islam and based on
