Sometimes we might feel like we can do it ourselves. Sometimes we might feel like if we just use our intelligence, and study and think we can figure it all out, but that's not true. Has it ever happened to you that you had a test in school and you studied and you studied and you studied and you worked really hard. But then the day of the test came? And you just didn't know the answers to some of the questions, the few things that you didn't remember to look over, they happen to be the exact questions that you've got. And so even though you worked so hard, you didn't really get the results that you wanted to get. Allah subhanaw taala is at Hattie, he's the one that puts it into
your head, which places to study in the first place. He's the one who puts it into your teacher's head, which questions to ask. He's the one who can decide whether when you're sitting in class, whether the answer comes to you or you forget.
When we realize that Allah has this power to guide us, we realize how much we depend upon Allah to give us this guidance. And we realize that no matter how smart we are, no matter how talented or skilled we are, we depend upon Allah to give us success.
