00:00:36--> 00:01:06

We praise Him and we seek his assistance and guidance and we seek refuge in Allah from the evil of ourselves and the adverse consequences of our deeds. Whomsoever Allah guides, men can misguide and serve alarmist guides and then can guide and peace and salutations be upon our beloved teacher and messenger, Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, I bear witness that there is no one worthy of worship besides one Allah and that Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wasallam is His Messenger. My dearest brothers and sisters in Islam salaamu alaykum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh

00:01:08--> 00:01:46

May the peace and blessings of Allah subhanho wa Taala be upon us. We praise Allah subhanho wa Taala for gathering us in a house from his houses to recite the book of Allah subhanho wa Taala and collectively learn from it. The hadith of Abu huraira Javi Allah Why is he Muslim? He says that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said Mr. Coleman debating in booty letter Allah yet Lu Nikita Ba La Jolla to de rasuna who FEMA Bina home in LA LA LA Hema Sakina OVA Shia tumor Rama will have pathoma Malaika Cara Houma la houfy man and

00:01:48--> 00:02:00

and I repeat, I say this Hadeeth intentionally given the reality of our sitting and the fact that it is a public holiday with a lot of sales on offer. And

00:02:01--> 00:02:06

you could have been out there in the city being part of

00:02:08--> 00:02:19

the events of the day but you've chosen to spend these few hours in the house of Allah subhanho wa Taala learning the Quran. He says that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said that there's no group of people

00:02:20--> 00:02:23

that come together in a house from the houses of Allah

00:02:25--> 00:02:31

to recite the book of Allah subhanho wa Taala and collectively study it and its lessons.

00:02:33--> 00:02:58

There's no group that does this except that Allah blesses them with four blessings. Right? These are blessings today inshallah we have good hope in Allah subhanho attack. The first blessing is that Allah subhanho wa Taala causes contentment to descend upon the gathering. And he causes the gathering to be surrounded by angels. The angels that Allah has created to roam the earth.

00:03:00--> 00:03:06

They are known as a seer hoon. As we know in another generation, they roamed the earth looking for majelis of victory

00:03:07--> 00:03:18

for the sittings, such as these were the remembrance of Allah subhanho wa Taala is done, his book is studied, the lessons of his book are shared.

00:03:19--> 00:03:26

And when they find these gatherings, they surround the gathering. This is a gathering surrounded by melodic

00:03:27--> 00:03:28

and we know this

00:03:30--> 00:03:30

because

00:03:31--> 00:03:41

the most truthful one hammer sallallahu alayhi wa sallam told us this and he was taught by Allah subhanho wa Taala the third blessing

00:03:42--> 00:03:51

well, her Shia to Morocco Allah, Allah causes the people of this gathering to be immersed, to be immersed in his mercy. This is our reality.

00:03:52--> 00:03:59

Our do in this gathering is a den whilst immersed in the mercy of Allah.

00:04:01--> 00:04:19

So if we speak about Jana, in this gathering, as compared to grandchildren, if we speak about the Hellfire in this gathering, ask Allah subhanho wa Taala his protection from the Hellfire for you would be making this door I was being engulfed in the mercy of Allah subhanho wa Taala. And

00:04:20--> 00:04:25

there's no words we can use to explain the reality of a person in gulten the mercy of Allah.

00:04:27--> 00:04:29

If you ask Allah for health in this gathering,

00:04:30--> 00:04:32

it's an asking like no other.

00:04:34--> 00:04:41

And based on this reality, you can apply every other to every other exam, or her she or tomorrow.

00:04:42--> 00:04:59

A law causes them to be immersed and these words are not words that were said by mistake. The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam chose his words appropriately because he was most diligent. When it came to teaching us about the Sharia. Allah would and teach him and then

00:05:00--> 00:05:20

He would teach us with the lack of diligence with the builder. If he used the term. He was very careful. It was because the term denotes the reality. He didn't say the mercy of Allah applies to this group. He said they are immersed in it, they are engulfed in it, we are drowning in the mercy of Allah subhanho wa Taala to heinola.

00:05:23--> 00:05:26

Always look for the signs, right? is Allah pleased with us?

00:05:29--> 00:05:33

If I were to see the Angel of Death today, what would my plight be?

00:05:35--> 00:05:36

These are signs

00:05:37--> 00:05:43

up being here in gulten, the mercy of Allah is a sign of your place without loss of Hannah Whitehead.

00:05:46--> 00:06:03

The pious before us used to say, either urato la who because you hate local aspect, that if a loved one's goodness for you, he opens the means for you and inspires you to be a part of it. He facilitates you being a part of it. That's a sign that allows good

00:06:04--> 00:06:23

so ensure that you're signed to a loss of Hannah who Allah because on this day, he's given you a sign that he wants Good for you. He wants to move you agenda. So he's paved for you the means and made it easy for you to be a part of it. So you get the rewards that through it, you will get the agenda that allowance for you.

00:06:25--> 00:07:07

And then give it to them before he says sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was a Cora Humala, human and that Allah subhanho wa Taala praises the people of this gathering. He praises them, to his melodica to the closest angels to Allah. He speaks highly of the people of this gathering. He's proud of the people of this gathering. Remember, the angel said to Allah, when Allah created Adam, are you going to place on earth? Those who sow corruption and spill blood? And Allah says, What do you say to them? In the Allah momella to Adam will indeed I know what you know, not angels weren't being disrespectful

00:07:09--> 00:07:17

to Allah subhanho wa Taala. But they knew the plight of those on earth before and the reality of Earth before Adam.

00:07:19--> 00:07:36

So Allah praises the people of this gathering, that the people of this gathering were in the knowledge of Allah that the angels didn't know about when the angel said what they said and Allah responded with his response to Hannah who attend. So Allah praises us and we have to really appreciate this.

00:07:37--> 00:07:57

That the Lord of the worlds, the King of kings, is singling us out for special praise right now. To the closest angels to align we know that Allah has angels that were only created to prostrate from the beginning of time till the end of time they are in sudduth.

00:07:59--> 00:08:01

The most beloved act to Allah subhanho wa Taala.

00:08:02--> 00:08:05

Allah is praising us to them Allah, what an honor.

00:08:06--> 00:08:07

What an honor.

00:08:09--> 00:08:17

We have lots of Hannah, who Allah continue to bless us, I mean, so this is a special gathering. And these are the rewards of this gathering.

00:08:18--> 00:09:00

We also thank mushy Amira, and it's organizers for pursuing this opportunity on this date, no doubt. Allah subhanho wa Taala used this Masjid and its team as a means for all of us. So we thank them, and we make drought that Allah subhanho wa Taala accepts from them and increases for them. I mean, European admin will also ask Allah subhanho wa Taala to make this a gathering that is forgiven upon his departure, and the gathering, that he has a good word and follows it is able to implement the good that it hears. Because no doubt, when we hear a lesson, then that lesson is either evidence for us or evidence against us. We don't have the excuse in front of our lawn the day of the AMA, that we

00:09:00--> 00:09:21

didn't know so May Allah subhanho wa Taala grant us to fear and guidance to practice upon everything that has been said I mean, and last but not least, brothers and sisters in Islam, a reminder to ensure that you renew your intentions and make this sitting solely for Allah subhanho wa Taala at his pleasure alone.

00:09:22--> 00:09:36

The topic today is sort of ramen. And even though we sort of feel it's a short surah especially since Allah repeats one is 31 times. So it really reduces the count of the ayat of surah.

00:09:38--> 00:09:46

But nonetheless, as with every ayah in the Quran, it is a short surah very long so

00:09:47--> 00:09:49

it is a concise surah

00:09:50--> 00:09:54

but it's complex in its simplicity. There's so much going on in it.

00:09:56--> 00:10:00

And it's not strange, because these are the words

00:10:00--> 00:10:16

Philosophy I know who it is, and we know that no one from mankind has managed to produce even an ayah from the ayat of the Quran despite the Quran challenge since more than 1400 years ago, the Quran is the timeless miracle.

00:10:17--> 00:10:20

And it is the book of salvation.

00:10:21--> 00:10:22

Until the day of tm,

00:10:24--> 00:10:35

it will last till the Day of tm, when Allah subhanho wa Taala, before the day of the AMA will lift it off the pages of the Maasai, and the hearts of the believers

00:10:36--> 00:11:07

Subhana Allah, may Allah save us from seeing that day and the same breath, Allah preserve us in his obedience. We know death is the most difficult thing for us. Nobody wants to die and Allah subhanho wa Taala knows this and teaches us this in a hadith goods, that he knows that the most disliked thing to his slave, his death. But we're lucky. Who would want to live at a time when you couldn't recite the Quran. And you couldn't find any mention of it. And you couldn't find anyone who's memorized.

00:11:08--> 00:11:09

Who would want to live in

00:11:11--> 00:11:55

Allah mister. So the Quran is the timeless miracle. So even though surah man is short in number, and then we feel it may be shorter because of an ayah repeated 31 times I repeat, it's complex in its simplicity, and we will see this as we traverse through it, it will actually make us appreciate the Quran and the instruction of Allah in an even greater way, especially the part that talks about balance and how Allah has set the balance and how balanced the surah is because you will see that the surah is filled with complete opposites. Everything that online lists he lists in pairs. When he speaks about matters of the land, he complimented by speaking about matters of the heavens, when he

00:11:55--> 00:12:16

speaks about the believers, we have a discussion about its opposite the disbelievers are the opposite the disbelievers. And even when he talks about matches on Earth, when he speaks about land and we haven't met, we have the discussion about the waters and the seeds of Allah subhanho wa Taala. When Allah tells us about the blessings on earth, He tells us about

00:12:18--> 00:12:25

what we find as blessings because of water and the sea. We'll see this as we go along this immense balance

00:12:26--> 00:12:37

in this aura, which makes us appreciate the Quran even more. And in this duality, that is a theme or is a base in terms of the instruction of Surah Rahman

00:12:38--> 00:12:43

we find the tawheed and oneness of Allah subhanho wa Taala because no two can come except from one.

00:12:45--> 00:12:53

So it's just even though it's short, it's complex in its simplicity.

00:12:54--> 00:13:11

Now the name of the surah as we have said, is sort of rough man. And it is the only surah in the Quran that opens with a name from the names of Allah Subhana who as we know, some sort of open with disjointed letters, we have tours that open praising Allah subhanho wa Taala.

00:13:13--> 00:13:22

But this Torah is the only surah that opens with a name from the names of Allah subhanho wa Taala. And not just any name, but a mighty name.

00:13:23--> 00:13:38

And we know that there are certain Names of Allah subhanho wa Taala that cannot be shared meaning you can't have anyone from his creation having the same name, such as a llama, such as Rob.

00:13:39--> 00:13:42

And from these names is a rough man.

00:13:43--> 00:14:11

No one can have this name. Except if you add a prefix to the name such as the abbot, or Allah, the servant of Allah, the male servant of Allah with the female servants of men, the male servant of a rough man, or the female servant of our rough man, because the meaning of a rough man is only specific to Allah subhanho wa Taala. There's nothing in creation that can possess this type of mercy, and we'll discuss it with him later.

00:14:12--> 00:14:14

This particular surah

00:14:15--> 00:14:25

in terms of the famous view of the scholars of the sea is a monkey saw on a monkey suit. I mean, it was revealed before the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam migrated to Medina.

00:14:26--> 00:14:36

And this is an important discussion in the sciences of the Quran, because it further emphasizes for us the beautiful nature of the Quran.

00:14:37--> 00:15:00

And its amazing instruction, because the revelation of Allah subhanho wa Taala before his era was unique, and the revelation after his era was unique. And it had to be so because the situation's of those receiving the poor and before hegira and after Asia was also unique. Before his era, the Muslims are a minority of the history

00:15:01--> 00:15:06

They had a Muslim land they were the majority, any other denomination was a minority.

00:15:08--> 00:15:15

And the period before his era lasted 13 years, the period after his era lasted 10.

00:15:16--> 00:16:04

And during the period before hegira the Quran focused on the most important instruction for the human being best we don't find the Quran making many things haram during the Macan period. Rather, it focused on building the heart, the mind, the soul, the next the body, to accept the loss of Allah subhanho wa Taala in the future, does it focused on the heat and belief in what Allah subhanho wa Taala for there's no need to discuss halal and haram when the person doesn't even believe in Allah subhanho wa Taala in the first place, then it focused on belief in the hereafter. Because the Quran denied the hereafter. If you don't believe in being taken into account or taken to account later on,

00:16:05--> 00:16:22

then you don't have a reason to comply right now. So the Quran established this reality. Also the Quran in the Macan period focused on good character. It's filled with good character. Being good to your parents was a very early instruction.

00:16:24--> 00:16:26

Right? Because it's from the best of character.

00:16:28--> 00:16:45

Because if you have bad character, then people will think that Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam came with religion to make people behave badly. The Quran came to develop an uplift people's characters and in fact the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said that I have not been sent except to perfect

00:16:47--> 00:17:27

to perfect character. So the Quran focused on these three themes before the Prophet salallahu alayhi wasallam migrated to Medina, and this is why this is the famous view of the scholars of the seal. That sort of rough man is a murky surah because if you look at the theme of the surah it doesn't have halal and haram in it and long the ayat which is also a common norm with madonie is of the hatred of the ayat became longer to get through to dakara and sort of de Missa and so on and so forth you find longer is, but if you look at the sutras before he died, then the general reality is that they are short in

00:17:28--> 00:17:57

that they are shorter than the IRS after HR. So this is another evidence that they use, and the greatest evidence that they use is the habit of aroa implausible and in it he explains that the first person to have recited the Quran openly after the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was Abdullah ibn robiola. And at the London Massoud was the puppy of Iraq after the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam passed away. And even the Hanafi madhhab

00:17:58--> 00:18:21

has a relationship with Abdullah bin Massoud. For its fifth goes to the field of Abdullah bin Massoud that went through the horrible hopper robiola one, and to live in this route and the idea of their loved one. They were from the prominence of habit that went to settle in Iraq after the Islamic caliphate moved from Medina to Iraq.

00:18:23--> 00:18:50

To live in Miss Ruth was a scholar of the Quran as well. And he was the famous Sahabi who said that there is no ayah that has been revealed, except I know where it was revealed. And it's reason of Revelation. And if there was an ayah, in which I didn't know this information, and I found someone who knew it, I would prepare my animal just to get that knowledge, meaning I would go on a journey even if it took months just to get that information. So the London was to drop your loved one.

00:18:51--> 00:18:59

He openly decided to sort of rock man when when the Sahaba said that the Quraysh have not heard the Quran.

00:19:00--> 00:19:06

They've not heard it because we the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was teaching it private. Right We know that

00:19:07--> 00:19:47

it will be out of town. This was the first madrasa the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam would gather in this particular home and he would teach the Sahaba of the Allahu animage Marine and they would worship Allah subhanho wa Taala from the revelation that Allah subhanho wa Taala revealed to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam at that time. So the instruction so the idea was, look, they have not heard the Quran, perhaps if the here the Quran then and it being recited aloud the from the Quran or those that are very literate. They have progress with the Arabic language, they will appreciate his eloquence and its instruction and it will be a means of helping the situation that we

00:19:48--> 00:19:59

are in. But then the Dalai Lama was who should recite the Quran, who should go and take on this task. The Sahaba preferred someone other than to live in misery because Abdullah

00:20:00--> 00:20:40

But basically, at that time, obviously, we know it was a time of tribal presence. So if you came from a tribe that was respected and powerful, then the other tribes would think twice or thrice before laying harm on you. Why? Because there would be repercussions with an entire tribe, irrespective of the individual differences. Right? So even in the Jay Z, and in the ignorance, they have this unit, right that even though we disagree with Poulin, we disagree with the person, but if someone were to harm him, we'd all stand up. Why? Because if we let that injustice go, we've basically opened the whole tribe towards destruction. Without this unity starts. Right. That's how

00:20:40--> 00:21:05

it starts. I mean, that's how weakness begins. When you allow one, that that's a license for other groups to realize that we can start picking out others. So they provide that someone from a more respected and powerful tribe, go and recite the Quran openly to avert harm, but even the roots of Han Allah, this is right, we would probably say today's for a blind event, he was

00:21:06--> 00:21:50

determined, he says, No, I will go do it, and that he stood by the macom. And he recited Surah ruffman. So this is evidence that the poor man is lucky to have this is the greatest evidence here. And then the Quraysh inquired about this eloquence that they were hearing, because they know the place was near the Kaaba was near the heroin. So they were, they heard this eloquence, and they inquired about it, until they were informed and to their shock, that this was actually four iron that was being recited This is from the words that were revealed to Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wasallam. And this is what happens when you have arrogance and ignorance, right? You stop

00:21:50--> 00:22:16

appreciating a reality that you actually were appreciating before your bias set in. Right? And you forget about the good and human nature takes over. And you act accordingly based on your misguidance so what did they do, they came out and they beat even with your loved one until the effects of his beating was seen on his face. And no doubt this incident happened before the migration of the Muslims to

00:22:19--> 00:22:52

to Medina and Allah subhanho wa Taala, Allah knows best. Some of the scholars say that also from the evidences that this is a Maki surah is that the surah comes after surah to the farmer. Now there's a difference of opinion between the scholars in terms of the sutras in the Quran, who put who put them together, right? Who put the 13th who put who authorized them in the way that we find them today. Was it done at the time when when the Muslim was compiled? Or was this based on instruction from the Prophet salallahu alayhi wasallam?

00:22:53--> 00:23:07

Allah Subhana who Allah knows best, the scholars all agree that the order of the words are from Allah, this is a point of Iijima and consensus. They also all agree that the sentences in the Quran

00:23:08--> 00:23:47

have been placed in order by Allah subhana wa Tada. This is a point of consensus and Iijima amongst the scholars because we have the hadith of man robiola, and in which he says that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam would receive revelation and then instruct us put this ayah in this position in this song, right. But in terms of the sutras in the Quran, starting with Fatiha and ending with an S. This is a discussion between the scholars but what like when you look at the relationship, Xs superstore. And this is a science in aluminum Quran, right the the suitability of surahs before surahs. And after sauce, the relationship with regards to a Surah Surah before it and

00:23:47--> 00:24:11

after it and the amazing lessons that you just take from the presence of a surah existing in the position that it's in. It really makes you feel that indeed, even the order of the suitors in the Quran, this instruction was left behind by Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wasallam. So this is another piece of evidence to prove that it was a makansutra that some of the scholars use they say that this sort of comes off the sort of karma

00:24:13--> 00:24:14

and sudo Tama

00:24:16--> 00:24:17

mentions

00:24:18--> 00:24:34

generalities, and in sort of rough man we see some specifics. So these are called pseudo ramen complements the pseudo before it. And we all know that pseudo Tamar is a Maki Surah Surah Rahman must be a Maki surah as well. This is not a strong.

00:24:36--> 00:25:00

This is a strong piece of evidence, but it's complimentary evidence. Why is it it's strong? Because it's possible for lots of Anahata Allah to reveal yet which explain it in another surah after some time, even after Yes, this is possible, right? It is possible because the general rule in the Sharia is yours.

00:25:00--> 00:25:10

Jews here, Albania and he locked in Hatcher This is a principle in solution, that it is permissible to delay explaining something until the time when people need to know

00:25:11--> 00:25:19

that this is a discussion the scholars have a pseudo tab that is it. Is it possible for the Sharia to delay instruction that is required?

00:25:20--> 00:25:59

Or does the Sherry I immediately revealed the instruction and the scholars say it's, it's permissible for the Sharia to delay instruction until the time when it's required. Doesn't have to be immediate. So for example, Allah could command you to pray. But until the time when it's time to pray, does, Allah doesn't have to teach you how to write, but when it's due for you to pray, then the Sharia would indeed teach you how to write because if it didn't, then this would entail a difficulty being placed upon the oma that is beyond the visibility. And this is not from the norm of the Sharia. Right? This is not from the system of Allah subhanho wa Taala. So that's what the

00:25:59--> 00:26:00

scholarship this argument is.

00:26:01--> 00:26:42

It's not a primary argument, because it's possible for Allah to re review so to come at a time, and then share the specifics at a later time, even after hegira. But I think the evidence is that we've shed suffices that this is a mock consumer. And that's why the majority of this call is approved. So now, just a quick there, our lesson or a practical lesson that we can take from this discussion, is that the Quran is a guidance for mankind, and from the methods of the book of Allah subhanho wa Taala when inviting towards Allah is to invite through mentioning Allah blessings upon us because it even Massoud went when when the Sahaba says that took the courage, haven't heard the Quran. And then

00:26:42--> 00:27:15

even Massoud went to recite the Quran and he was instructed or he decided Allah knows best. We don't know if you took the instruction from Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, oh, this was the guidance that Allah gave him, he decided to recite from Surah Rahman, then this teaches you that this is a method of Tao. That sometimes you bring people closer to the Lord by teaching them the blessings that Allah subhanho wa Taala gave them before telling them that Allah is one worshipping, you tell you remind them of the blessings that Allah subhana wa tada

00:27:16--> 00:27:33

has given them, and from the greatest blessings that are lies are rough man. And this is the opening of the surah. And as we will, as we know from the surah, or we will learn from the surah. As soon as the surah opens, Allah mentions bounty after bounty of the bounty of the bounty of the bounty before Allah mentions.

00:27:34--> 00:27:50

For VA II, Allah Europe bukhoma took advantage of the favors of your Lord Do you deny? So this is a sort of a famous, so this is a tip that we can take from this reason, or from this evidence that we shared the evidence of Mr. Obama while in proving that this is a concern.

00:27:53--> 00:28:30

And this is a why is that our tip, why because when you remind people of the blessing that someone has done for them, then naturally, they end up loving that person more. And when they love that person more, it's human nature that you want to do things that please that person. That's how life is right? Someone came to you and said, you know, all these things, all this help that you got. So and so how you didn't know before that, that he was the one so you had no inclination, or feelings towards that person. But the moment someone made it clear to you that you know, you went this difficulty and this happened and this happened, you know, who sorted it out for you so and so

00:28:30--> 00:29:10

immediately you feel a love for that person, you want to thank that person, if that person even if you didn't think that person and that person did not know that you now know and he called you and asked you for help you would jump in immediately want to help right human nature, because now you have a natural love for that person. And that motivates you. It motivates your paradigms, it shifts your paradigms with regards to them. So when we learn about Allah blessings upon us naturally we love Allah subhanho wa Taala we love the more we love Allah subhanho wa Taala the naturally the more we want to act and do that which pleases Allah subhanho wa Taala. Right. And obviously examples with

00:29:10--> 00:29:17

our Lord are far beyond examples with regards to other human beings, but this is just an example to bring the idea closer to our hearts and minds.

00:29:18--> 00:29:32

This particular surah is in the 27th juice in the Quran. And it's the 55th surah of the Quran. And it has 78 is and in some parrots, it has 76 is right this is not a

00:29:34--> 00:29:47

matter to cause confusion in terms of the finality of the Quran in terms of it being the untouched word in terms of it being the final revelation that's protected until the day of gamma. This is a matter of

00:29:48--> 00:29:54

a science known as the counting of the ayat of the Quran. Okay, so

00:29:56--> 00:29:59

the Iota 78 but some have cited 76 but the

00:30:00--> 00:30:39

words and sentences are the art in and of itself, the meanings. The lessons are all the same whether we say 76 or 78. It's just an issue of, should we stop here? Or Shouldn't we stop here? Right? Should we list this as an idea here? Or Shouldn't it be listed as an idea here? Are these two joined together? Or are they separate similar to the discussion and sort of confetti? How we know that it's seven is some include Bismillah as an ayah, which means they reduce an ayah from the heart of the surah and some say no al hamdu Lillahi Rabbil alameen is Ayah number one excluding Bismillah R Rahman r Rahim. So then you find that the portion that group one left out in terms of counting it as

00:30:39--> 00:30:57

an ayah group to counted as an eye, but when they bought when both groups recites retinopathy how it sounds exactly. It comes across exactly the same. Is that clear brothers and sisters in Islam? I don't know about the sisters. If we if there's any queries inshallah, you can send down your questions.

00:30:59--> 00:31:26

Okay, we spoke about Vanessa sua relationships between sutras and we said the sutra through karma is the surah before surah to rough man. Now surah two karma is known to mention important matters, as all the surahs do, but we know that Allah subhanho wa, taala and sudo to come but I mean for anyone who, sometimes when I read surah through combat, I think so hon. Allah, Allah for Islam and EMA. Allah, if you if you on the other side, reading Surah kamar

00:31:27--> 00:31:53

longstaff because Allah, you know, eloquently powerfully describes how he taught nations that disbelieved apart previously right before the bottle coffee brought him and he said I have no doubt because we know from the bottle coffee Rahim Allah Salaam is Allah lift mass punishment of the face of this earth? No people were punished in the entirety of Abraham. He said, The last group was the people of loop.

00:31:54--> 00:31:56

And that was during his time.

00:31:57--> 00:32:34

Ebrahim was an entire oma scholar saved from his Bharata Allah lifted mass punishment off the face of this earth so to Allah. It teaches us eloquently, how Allah taught these nations apart. What law if you weren't a believer, he will and reciting it. There's no other emotion that could become manifestly present in you besides the emotion of fear, right? But Allah subhanahu wa tada as he described these matters, Allah subhanho wa Taala describes them generally.

00:32:36--> 00:32:55

He doesn't mention specifics. He talks about nations and how they were destroyed it, but it's sort of lost man, we see specifics with regards to the disbelievers. And Allah subhanho wa Taala mentioned some of the beliefs that they have such as their beliefs on the deal. Firstly, they don't believe in the day of tm,

00:32:57--> 00:33:17

Allah tells us some things pertaining to that, then Allah goes into the specifics of gender. So through karma, Allah just tells us at the end of surah, to cover about the believers and they will have a place close to the Lord. So to remind you of the specifics of gender, in fact, it's very specific, Allah tells us about two genders, and then tells us about the upper class gender and

00:33:18--> 00:33:45

we don't want to say lower classes or gender is amazing. Allah says, a woman duly imagine that and a lot we will maybe we can say first class and business class, because it's all good. But there's differences. So law tells us about those who do more of the gender they will have. And then Allah tells us about the gender that will go to those who did less. There's so much specifics mentioned, right? Allah gives us some specifics about the actual day of the AMA, and how people will be thrown into the Hellfire

00:33:46--> 00:33:51

right they will be grabbed by the fall ox and by the by the feet and thrown into the Hellfire

00:33:52--> 00:34:02

that have nothing to grab on to do this. More detailed descriptions of it to us in Surah terrafirma also,

00:34:06--> 00:34:41

in Surah, two comma Allah subhana wa Tada. He ends up sort of newcomer by mentioning some of his names in the Maliki moqtada Malik means the owner and master and mock that it means the determiner right I must say schema, it said they will the believers they will be in an RDC the Makati City prefers to a station of the station of the stations of those who believed those who were truthful and respected the truth and adopted the truth.

00:34:42--> 00:34:59

And Allah says that that Makati City is in there is near many chemoprotective Allah subhanho wa sallahu is Malik the owner and the determiner so it ends with these names of Allah and then pseudo Rahman begins with the name of Allah subhanho wa Taala

00:35:00--> 00:35:07

As if Allah subhana wa, Allah is answering a question that the people might ask, when they say who is Mary Kay macdaddy?

00:35:08--> 00:35:17

Right? When the when the courage or the disbelief is here this, this, this last idea that indeed those who believe if you believe you'll have a truth who station with your

00:35:18--> 00:36:02

Lord who is medical doctor there. So the next question is Who is he a rough man, he's a man. I've never taught you the Quran inside He created you and never hold by and he taught his speech. Right? So it's as if man is an answer to the ending of Sudoku Cameron. That's why I say you see, these relationships are amazing within the solver in terms of how they are positioned. Right. And also, it brings hope that a lot, the word the name of Allah is meant to teach that this belief is that you still have a chance as long as you breathing, don't lose hope in the mercy of Allah. The money chemo that we're talking about here is urashima. And he will forgive you take the step, take the jump.

00:36:04--> 00:36:05

So the amazing relationship,

00:36:06--> 00:36:28

right between the ending of source recover and the beginning of surah Rama. Now very quickly, what are the objectives or sort of terrafirma it's important to discuss the objectives because if you understand the objectives, then we appreciate the several meanings that you will read when we go through sort of detail some for you from my reading of the surah number one, it has the objectives of

00:36:29--> 00:36:44

optomap consolas. As we described, the heat, the establishment of the heat, establishment of belief in the Hereafter, establishment of good character, because it's bad character to deny someone's blessings and his great character to

00:36:46--> 00:37:13

to acknowledge someone's blessings right. And the greatest way of acknowledging of us blessings upon us to believe in our that's the greatest character. So we said makansutra focus on three focal points, the heat, belief in the hereafter as well as good character included in this is legitimizing the reality of the messenger sallallahu alayhi wa sallam that he is sent by Allah subhanho wa Taala and you should follow him. This is from the objectives of the store.

00:37:15--> 00:37:33

Also from the objectives of the surah is the establishment of justice and leaving oppression. The greatest of witches shipped polytheism in the Shere Khan Laguna de as Luqman Allah He Sallam said to his son, that indeed Shere Khan polytheism is a grave oppression,

00:37:36--> 00:37:37

from the objectives of the surah

00:37:39--> 00:37:44

is to establish an understanding of the meaning of the name of Allah Rama

00:37:47--> 00:37:49

from the objectives of the surah

00:37:51--> 00:37:53

is to

00:37:54--> 00:38:00

encourage people to believe in the hereafter by Allah subhanho wa Taala describing gender

00:38:01--> 00:38:03

described describing Johanna

00:38:04--> 00:38:10

let me let me read let me reword that, from the objectives of the surah is to eight belief,

00:38:12--> 00:39:01

to eight belief. Why, because belief might make you feel that life will become harder if you believe you govern now, right? If you believe in Allah, you can live how you want, when you want, why you want, but we know that reward is proportional to effort. And it's the reward that motivates you to engage with an effort. So when Allah goes into the details of genda, and details, the punishment, it makes you appreciate the reward factor, that if I do this, right, I will save myself from a from a severe punishment and I will gain for myself a reward that no is ever received. No he has ever heard, no heart is ever dreamt of. Why? Right now, when the reward is worthy, you feel brave enough

00:39:01--> 00:39:02

to engage the effort.

00:39:04--> 00:39:13

Right? Like if I told you can you walk to the other end of London for a tenner? For 10 pounds? simple ways to get that 100

00:39:14--> 00:39:14

not 100

00:39:16--> 00:39:18

by 10,000 pounds, maybe?

00:39:20--> 00:39:20

Maybe

00:39:22--> 00:39:59

five if I said 10,000 pounds walk to Birmingham we say no ways. You have to up the reward. The greater the reward, the more I'm willing to act. Right. So Sora man assists us in acting. It sets down the reward. So now you motivated to act that yes is going to be difficult. I know it's going to be difficult but the reward is worth it. I will believe and I will comply. And think about it. What makes a habit who yesterday Well, we're worshiping it idols put their life on the line when the call to go out comes to defend the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam would they lie

00:40:00--> 00:40:01

and their families.

00:40:02--> 00:40:45

Right. When the when the Pledge of Allegiance was given before the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam went to Medina. And the meeting happened with those few Muslims from Medina and the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam his uncle is present with the province of Allahu Allah, he was sending them. And he speaks and he says, oh and slop meaning, oh, the people of Medina, you got to understand what you putting yourself into. We protected our lives, we protected him, our nephew, we protected him. You have to realize what you're doing. If you take him, you're putting your lives in danger. You've ruined the lives of your wives in danger. You're putting the light the lives of your

00:40:45--> 00:40:52

children in danger. You're putting your homes in danger. You're putting your wealth in danger, I understand what you're getting yourself into.

00:40:57--> 00:41:07

That's how it is. But if the reward is worth it, again, it's all worth it. And this is what made the Sahaba SubhanAllah. They understood.

00:41:08--> 00:41:20

They understood gender. And they believed according and sometimes I feel maybe this is our issue. We just don't understand gender well enough. We always passive we always have to think about it.

00:41:21--> 00:41:44

Right? It's always our case, right? Someone says donate we thinking and maybe we haven't understood it. We haven't understood gender. Well. Someone says act we need to do this project. We haven't understood gender. Well we delayed. But when it comes to a matter of opinion, we act immediately. Why? Because you've understood the dunya we know what benefit comes to us if we do this now.

00:41:45--> 00:41:49

We have to we have to recalibrate our paradigms brothers and sisters in Islam.

00:41:50--> 00:41:51

Allah Allah, Allah Allah.

00:41:53--> 00:42:00

Allah talks about the disbelievers that they know everything about the reality of the dunya when it comes to the accuracy in ignorance and the heatless about it.

00:42:01--> 00:42:06

That's what causes them to delay when it comes to call on law of Allah Rasool.

00:42:07--> 00:42:49

Allah said in what the rasuna said, but the reality of a believer as Allah sees what my kind of limit Meanwhile, Amina cine de la hora, para una homochiral. It is not for a believing men and believing woman, that when the command of Allah comes, they believe that they have a choice in the matter. They have time with the Met. Right? So our issue really is we haven't really learned generally in our hearts and minds, like the Sahaba did. And so when the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam would tell the Sahaba who wants to buy this agenda, they would stand up what do we need to do here Rasul? Allah was not even a fan goes and buys the world of Roma. Immediately he buys the agenda

00:42:49--> 00:43:03

by purchasing that well, he prepares an entire army for the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam to buy Jenna, this is what it was. That is cheap. No matter what it costs, this is cheap. I'm getting gender for this.

00:43:05--> 00:43:15

And the problem is that Allahu alayhi wa sallam says, Who wants to purchase gender by equipped by preparing this army by funding this army, and with a man stands, I'll do it myself. robiola, why?

00:43:17--> 00:43:18

They understood gender

00:43:20--> 00:43:33

will not grant us the understanding, I mean, also from the objectives of the surah is to believe in matters of the unseen tiama the reality of washing, Jenna Johanna belief in other

00:43:34--> 00:43:54

belief in other because Indeed Allah subhanho wa Taala is the title is The determiner we spoke about the attachment of the surah to the surah before it and Allah Subhana what Allah knows best. From the objective, no doubt is to acknowledge our lust favors upon us and to make us from the shaqiri

00:43:55--> 00:43:57

Allah says lane shocker to me as he then

00:43:59--> 00:44:37

if you are grateful, I will increase for you. Increased gratefulness cannot happen if you don't recognize the gift. How many of us prostrates who do the sugar because we Muslims? When last? Did we do that? Have we recognized Islam as a gift? Have we recognized Eman as a gift? And that's why I started off this discussion highlighting the reality of this gathering to know that you have been gifted today. And that's why I said thank Allah for it. Because many of us attend these gatherings not realizing that this is Allah giving us a sign that allows goodness for us and is happy for us. Thank Allah. This is a gift from a Russian.

00:44:39--> 00:44:57

We see our children How many times do we do we do to do the sugar for the children that we have for the health that they have for the guidance that the upon we so caught up in the hustle and bustle of life? We forget to thank so Allah brings us a rough man and 31 times he says which of the favors of your Lord Do you deny?

00:44:59--> 00:44:59

Do you like it?

00:45:00--> 00:45:01

inability to be grateful for

00:45:03--> 00:45:06

Have you become Have you fallen into oblivion?

00:45:09--> 00:45:52

With regards to, you have all this but you don't recognize it as a blessing, this is normal This is, especially in this day and age, given how quick life is moving and how Baraka is being reduced in the time and our money, we are working harder and we still have less right? We have so much technology we have reminders WE HAVE IT systems we have artificial intelligence but we still Subhanallah we feel that there's no time so much help but we still doing less. Baraka is gone. Even from money we probably working harder double shifting, triple shifting investments here investments there, but we struggling still to to save Barack has gone from wealth. These are the times when you

00:45:52--> 00:46:25

have to thank a lot more. And this is investment, you know, we talk about Islamic investment, we will always talk about the asset and it should be halal and and and yes, that's all true. What about thanking Allah subhanho? wa Taala What about saying Bismillah before the investment, what about what about giving sadaqa apportion from these are all this is all investment from another perspective. This is brick injecting into your wells Baraka was no action on earth can bring to you. But we'll leave that for another discussion insha Allah by his objectives, but inshallah we've got the crux of them.

00:46:31--> 00:46:37

It's appropriate Subhana Allah that Allah subhanho wa Taala ends the surah by saying Blessed be the name of your Lord.

00:46:39--> 00:46:41

We will mighty, the glorious,

00:46:42--> 00:47:14

when he starts to soar author of man the name of Allah subhanho wa Taala. So we see the relationship between the ending, as well as the beginning by a rough man, or rough man is commonly translated as the benefit the Beneficent, right allies, the Beneficent, but also a good translation would be the Entirely Merciful, because I recommend refers to the one who has a mercy that encompass everything in its entirety, irrespective of their reality.

00:47:17--> 00:47:32

Whether they believe or disbelief, whether they're young or old, irrespective of their background, their language, their culture, Allah has a mercy that encompasses everything he has created. Nothing escapes this mess, he is a rough man.

00:47:33--> 00:48:19

But the scholars say that with regards to the disbelievers when a rough man applies to them before death, after death, it stopped applying to them, but the mess you have allowed continues, but with the name of Allah Rahim because our Rahim refers to a specific mercy from the mercy of a rough man, that is only for the beliefs. So the believers enjoy a mercy from Allah from a rush man and from a Russian and this is the nuance difference between the meanings of the two names of a Rahman and Rahim that perhaps we can say or recommend, refers to the Entirely Merciful and Rahim refers to the Especially Merciful.

00:48:21--> 00:48:44

And we said earlier how Allah teaches us that Maliki maka did. He is a rough man, teaching the courage that despite your enmity to the Messenger of Allah Subhana hoods Allah know and understand that as long as you breathing, nothing you do, prevents the mercy of Allah reaching. If you step up and say the Shahada and accept you will find that which pleases us you're not.

00:48:45--> 00:48:56

And it's from the mercy of a rough man, that at Islam jubu macabre, that Islam cancels out and abrogates all your actions before Islam. This is from the mercy of a rough man.

00:48:59--> 00:49:09

And this way of teaching us about Allah exists also in another surah in the Quran. And that's the greatest surah in the Quran. Surah

00:49:10--> 00:49:26

Surah Tripathi, how Allah teaches us that Al hamdu Lillahi Rabbil alameen this specific type of praise belongs to Allah subhanho wa Taala The Lord of the worlds so when a person asks Who is the Lord of the worlds unless is a rough man.

00:49:28--> 00:49:41

Allah introduces himself to his creation with this name are Rashmi and I've been working with new muslims for a long time now for since 2013 more closely, and many of them when they speak about

00:49:42--> 00:49:54

the heat the journey towards guidance and they open the Quran and they read surah confetti had the standard point is the first thing they learnt about the Lord is that he's the Entirely Merciful, this had an impact on them.

00:49:57--> 00:49:59

So this is how Allah subhanho wa Taala introduces

00:50:00--> 00:50:05

As to him, and we learn from this never ever to lose hope in the mercy of Allah subhanho wa Taala

00:50:06--> 00:50:23

that even those who have recovered is mentioned with all these punishments and you fear and you beg Allah to die upon guidance to die as a believer, because you don't want to fall under the instructions of Sudoku comma, or that mentioned in Sudoku comma.

00:50:24--> 00:50:32

A law of balances balances it out and we spoke about balancing so terashima balances the discussion. Allah teaches you that he's a freshman.

00:50:33--> 00:50:50

And that's the middle way brothers and sisters in Islam that a believer sits between elbow for Raja, fear of Allah's punishment and hoping to lessness and this keeps you guided. We also learn from this where those who perish, they deserve to be punished.

00:50:52--> 00:50:56

Those who perish they deserve to be Parrish how do we learn this? Because he is

00:50:57--> 00:51:06

the one who punishes them. subhanho wa Taala He is our hammer which means they only got punished because they deserve to because Allah is just

00:51:08--> 00:51:21

that he's given every opportunity for you to save yourself analyze the Quran, you do get overwhelmed with the mercy of Allah subhanho wa Taala and you actually think to yourself this Pamela, no matter what I do, as long as I die upon Islam

00:51:22--> 00:51:37

insha Allah, I will get to gentleman so merciful, and we know that Allah has nightline parts of mercy for the day that he will be the angry as the do. We know when the when the people go to the different mvidmr salatu wa salam to seek intercession

00:51:38--> 00:51:55

for them to go to Allah subhanho wa Taala. All of them will refuse besides Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and one common statement that they will say is in that today, our Lord is he's become angry. He is so angry, he's never been angry like this before and he will never be angry like this.

00:51:57--> 00:52:01

This is what they will say. And even Ibraheem alehissalaam the father of them be

00:52:02--> 00:52:33

the surreal man, the one who is close to Allah, the One who Allah described as an entire oma, he will refuse to take the step. But even they will, will fear the reality of Tiana because of how angry Allah subhanho wa Taala will be. But Allah sees 90 teaches she teaches us through Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam that only one portion of Allah's mercy do we find on earth 99 portions are kept for that day.

00:52:34--> 00:52:45

But nonetheless, we don't latch on to this lesson in a disrespectful way. Where we plan sin and do sin and guarantee for ourselves. Forgiveness

00:52:47--> 00:53:02

because now that is being proud, you put yourself in a place that Allah didn't place you in. That is disrespecting Allah subhanho wa Taala. Right. So Allah is the Most Merciful. And yes, Allah is the determiner and allies also the chest,

00:53:04--> 00:53:06

the chest, he won't treat

00:53:08--> 00:53:20

a disbeliever as a believer, or the one who does good as the one who doesn't, that's being unjust. So we learn from the fact that our last thought to sort of man that those who are punished, they're punished because they deserve to be punished

00:53:22--> 00:53:44

by we've spoken about a rough man and it's comparison to a Rahim and one thing we must say that our rough man and all the names of Allah subhanho wa Taala have this reality. They are based upon scales in the Arabic language that are known as scales of mubadala an English language we call this hyperbolas ation, meaning they stressed in terms of eloquence, okay. And

00:53:47--> 00:54:07

so when we say a rough man, we mean the Entirely Merciful in a in the one who is Entirely Merciful, in the most perfect sense, perpetual, who can try and find words to try and explain this, that he is so consistent in his perfect mercy.

00:54:08--> 00:54:20

It spans forever because Allah is perfect for from ever, and he's perfect forever, there is no reduction in the quality of perfection of Allah subhanho wa Taala His mercy, this is what the temp

00:54:21--> 00:55:00

or any word upon the scale of eyeland denotes. So this highlights to us the reality of Allah subhanho wa Taala is Miss and to be honest, our minds cannot even comprehend comprehend how perfect the nature of Allah subhanho wa Taala is Mercy is Allah hasn't given our brain the power, the ability to understand this. And that is why in the other discussion that we have, in terms of belief in our last names and attributes. Whenever we talk about a last names and attributes, we affirm what Allah has found without detailing the house because we don't have the capacity to know that. We haven't seen Allah subhanho wa Taala and our brain doesn't have the ability

00:55:00--> 00:55:07

ability to imagine of loss of Halloween. So there's no scope to start describe get getting into the details of rehab.

00:55:10--> 00:55:11

Then

00:55:13--> 00:55:15

before we leave this term, man

00:55:18--> 00:55:40

based on the scholars who say this is a Madani surah revealed after migration to Medina, there is another discussion and that was during the Treaty of Davie. When the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was asked to remove men from the treaty because they said one more Rama Who is this rock man we only know one rough man right so so Haley but

00:55:42--> 00:55:48

this is what he said. He says we only know one rough man he was referring to this evil person in Yemen

00:55:50--> 00:56:08

right so it says if this Torah answers that circumstance that you ask you what was rough man, or rough man and level 4am I insane. Am lemme Hold on. This is rough man. And the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam asked me to rub it out and it refused.

00:56:10--> 00:56:16

This wasn't disrespect of the province of Allah Allah was in But this shows you Eman and the human beings and they felt what they felt.

00:56:18--> 00:56:19

Then who are you

00:56:20--> 00:56:47

asking for this to be removed? But the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam asked for the position to be shown to him on the page because he was he was unlettered and they showed it to him and he rubbed it out himself. Okay, but that's a discussion for a different day the wisdoms and benefits from this. So this tour also serves as an answer to that. Then Allah subhanho wa Taala says I lemon and Hanukkah incense and lemon Cora Huracan incense. What came first?

00:56:48--> 00:57:04

Animal Quran means a lotta Quran, Allah insha Allah created mankind. But what came first did mankind come before the Quran? The Quran? Was did mankind come before the revelation of the Quran? Or did the revelation of the Quran come before mankind? What's the answer to that?

00:57:07--> 00:57:51

Very easy. Be specific. I didn't I didn't talk about Coronavirus. I said revelation of the Quran. Mankind came before the revelation of the Quran. So why does Allah highlight revelation of the Quran before Allah highlights? mankind being created? No doubt these are blessings. guidance is a blessing and being created being brought into existence from non existence, so you have the opportunity to enter Jannah This is a blessing. Right? If Allah didn't create you, you wouldn't be you wouldn't be part of the discussion when it comes to gender. The fact that you exist means now you have an opportunity to earn the greatest reward. That is a blessing. Why does Allah subhanho wa Taala teach

00:57:51--> 00:58:16

us about mlms? Before teaching us about Kola Peninsula, the scholars have to say that this is a lesson from Allah subhanho wa Taala to us that the existence of insan means nothing if there's no guidance, your value is in you being guided. Because if you don't have guidance will go to Johanna. What's the point of meaning what value is there in that?

00:58:19--> 00:58:35

The people of gentlemen not worth being mentioned, not worth being thought of not was being recognized. So what what do you have if you don't have guidance? So Allah is teaching us that yes, being created is a is a blessing, but it's only a blessing if you guide it.

00:58:37--> 00:58:39

For Allah, the Quran,

00:58:41--> 00:59:09

Quran Allah teach the Quran to, he taught it to this, he taught it to jabril and he Sarah, he taught it to Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, he taught it to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam in some ways via Jabri. And he taught it to us via Rasulullah sallallahu Allah He wasn't. And he taught it to the rest of the owner via the scholars of the Quran of Dhamma. Right? Allah taught the Quran that it's in existence until a time when Allah will list it

00:59:11--> 00:59:22

more than 1400 years after it was revealed. It's recited upon agreement without change without being lost in four corners of the globe.

00:59:24--> 00:59:26

That is amazing. A lot of the Quran

00:59:27--> 00:59:46

and some of the scholars say that in Ireland Malappuram is a lesson that Allah subhanho wa Taala taught us about him by the Quran and taught us how to worship him by the Quran.

00:59:47--> 00:59:56

So the blessing is that Allah revealed the Quran and the blessing is that Allah taught us about him and how to behave with regards to him by the Quran.

01:00:00--> 01:00:16

Kill Bill as Allah sees in in, in another song that remind them by the Quran what yeah his room be jihad in Kabira. Right. Right, that face them by the Quran agreed facing,

01:00:17--> 01:00:21

strive with them with the Quran, a great strategy

01:00:22--> 01:00:41

and a third mentioned here, as some scholars say and even though it's distant but it's it has, it has relevance and they talk about it when when in Arabic language when the Arabs would say taleem elewana old alberca right there Aleem Alba

01:00:43--> 01:00:52

Alba Khurana when, when they when they attach this word to their animals meaning they have marked it, it's recognized by this mark by the sign.

01:00:53--> 01:01:25

So it says if Allah subhanahu Allah is saying from the blessings of Allah subhanho wa Taala is that your sign? Is the Quran meaning you're walking and talking Quran that is your sign. And that's how the province of Allahu alayhi wa sallam was describing the hadith of Allah and when she was asked about the character of the prophets of Allah who said he was a lamb, she said kind of his character is the Quran what you read is what you see. So the Muslim sign is the Quran. They are known by the Quran.

01:01:28--> 01:01:38

And Allah tells us in sort of rough man, about the mercury, moon, the criminals, BC man whom you will know them on the day of piano, by their science,

01:01:39--> 01:01:43

besides of the believers is the Quran Subhana Allah.

01:01:44--> 01:02:02

And with regards to the Quran, he that no doubt, as we've said, it's revelation is a great mercy. And it's the greatest gift. And it's the timeless miracle. Every miracle of every prophet was specific to their time, besides Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wasallam.

01:02:04--> 01:02:12

Some miracles was specific to his time, but one miracle will last until Allah subhanho wa Taala lifted and that is the Quran

01:02:14--> 01:02:27

that we have this miracle with us. And we carry the legacy of Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wasallam collectively, and every carrier of a legacy had a miracle that he went to his people with.

01:02:28--> 01:02:38

So if we are collectively carrying the legacy of the Gambia Alamo, Salatu was Salam and doing the job of Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, then we need our medical our medical is this.

01:02:41--> 01:02:42

We do this Darrell with the

01:02:44--> 01:02:50

amazing right, which you have greater demand in Allah Subhana Allah Allah never left us.

01:02:51--> 01:02:59

He gave Moosa a stick that turned into a snake. He gave it he saw the ability to give life to a bird made out of clay.

01:03:00--> 01:03:13

He gave Mohammed sallallahu alayhi wa sallam the miracle of the moon splitting and water coming out of his fingers and he gave him the Quran. And he gave his aroma collectively carry his legacy a miracle as well to use in the town that is the

01:03:16--> 01:04:00

whoever reads this Quran benefits from it, whoever memorizes it benefits from it, whoever listens to it benefits from it, the best of those who learn it, or the best of the best of mankind or those who learn it and teach it. Right? Hey documental Mr. Khurana walima. The best of mankind those who learn the Quran and teach it and it's family is a special family Mellon because of the family of alcohol, we know that you have to mother, the family of our Curatola special station and especial rank and then have a gender just for them for Allah will tell them to read and ascend, and the place in gender will be where the last idea is recite. Now lawmakers from this family

01:04:02--> 01:04:21

and the fact that Allah mentions the Quran being revealed and we've said that it's a book of guidance. Immediately after he mentioned our brush man teaches us that the greatest Mercy of Allah subhanho wa Taala is in seeking knowledge. Why? Because it is the antidote

01:04:22--> 01:04:38

to the misguidance that will take you far from the mercy of Allah. And even taymiyah says that all sins go also stem from two sources. all sins in existence, stemmed from two sources number one, Mirage, a shadow, and number two Mirage should

01:04:40--> 01:04:47

all sin stems from two sources, the sickness of desires, and the sickness of doubts.

01:04:49--> 01:04:59

In Arabic institutions in English is the two Double D, the two DS right? doubts and desires shubha and Shahada when a person says it's either

01:05:00--> 01:05:11

They have a misconception regarding that matter. So they believe they're doing the right thing, but they're not. Are they doing the wrong thing but they're just following the desires. They know it's wrong, but they love to follow the desires.

01:05:12--> 01:05:36

And that's why in Surah Yusuf, Allah subhanho wa Taala teaches us that the one who when you supply that he seldom asks a lot to put him into prison. He says, if you don't put me into prison, I will be inclined to that wish they called me to remember the women of the city were trying to do what get him to do heroin. What does he say at the end? I might be inclined to do what they're calling me to do your ally and I will be from amongst the ignorant

01:05:39--> 01:06:14

because there's no one who knows Allah and the command of Allah and understands that command that will sit if you send you love to follow your desires you forgotten a line that moment you ignorant of your note. And if you don't love to send but you follow something wrong, which you think is right, you have a misconception you ignorant about the instruction of Europe. What is the antidote to ignorance in and that is why the first word reviewed was read this Quran. This is the greatest mercy that our watchmen is revealing to you Thus our ramen alleman Cora.

01:06:17--> 01:07:00

Chanukah insane, as we said, that because Allah subhanho wa Taala created us now we have the ability to go to Jin Hee brought us into existence, and gave us a chance to antigen. And some squatters have explained in sand here to refer to Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa said, there's no point in intimacy. We have several citations regarding the meaning of an A, that doesn't mean that there's a problem with the ayah rather, there are several citations that complement each other. We can say that Hanukkah insert, Allah created Mohammed, no doubt this is a great mess. And Allah created mankind no doubt this is a great mess you all these meanings apply because one common rule with the ayat of the

01:07:00--> 01:07:15

Quran is that they are human. And you find the scholars mentioned this, they are carriers of a plethora of meanings. We are containers that carry a plethora of meanings, meanings that complement each other, but don't contradict each other.

01:07:24--> 01:07:47

And if we say that hola insan refers to Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, then no doubt this is a great message for is the final of all messengers and prophets and he's the one who would intercede for us on the day of PM, because of his intercession genda will open because of his in his intercession, believers will be who are being punished in Johanna will be removed from jahannam and entity to paradise and the list goes on and on and on. Right.

01:07:50--> 01:07:53

Then Allah subhanho wa Taala addresses and neighborhood

01:07:54--> 01:08:16

and he has some scholars have explained it as Allah has taught us right from wrong, because by and also entails meaning. But the more stronger opinion is that a lemma will buy and here refers to speech because this is what differentiates us with the rest of creation. And some sources say that Allah subhanho wa Taala taught Adam alayhis Salam 700 languages

01:08:17--> 01:08:41

and the base languages in existence until the day of kamma will be 700. We know that languages have alterations to it, but the base language will be 700. And they mentioned this when they discuss the IOI lemma Adam and Aquila. When Allah tells us that Allah taught Adam all the names, he taught him all the base languages.

01:08:43--> 01:09:02

And being able to speak is the ability to make manifest that which is in yourself. And as the Arabic poet said in Al Kalam and appeal for it were in NEMA. He said indeed, Callum, Callum speech is in the heart.

01:09:03--> 01:09:04

Right.

01:09:05--> 01:09:25

We're in NEMA. But no doubt what is in the heart. When it's placed on the tongue, it becomes evidence. No one can hold you accountable for that which you don't say which is in here. But the moment it's made manifest because of your ability with ban, it becomes evidence.

01:09:27--> 01:09:59

And through this, we worship Allah subhanho wa Taala to the recitation of the Quran forever besides electric, it's a hassle and a hassle is equal to 10 rewards. And the scholars say this is for the one who recites not for the one who looks at the words that resides in his heart. He needs to have the lip movements the tongue movement, right? That's what recitation means it can be heard, even if it's if it's only heard by him. But the rewards of 10 are for a person who recites not a person who looks at the words and is reciting in his or her heart.

01:10:00--> 01:10:06

And Allah subhanho wa Taala is an alien and all knowledgeable of all that

01:10:08--> 01:10:26

that exists. And everything that exists goes back to an idea when I was when I loved my dad. He taught him by an AI lemma has the same route as Aleem, and Addie refers to the old knowledgeable and the one from who everything known. stems from

01:10:28--> 01:11:03

his name of allah laddie, what does it mean? The one who knows everything? And the one because of him? Everything that is known is actually No. Does that make sense? That is what it means that everything that is known today we talk about artificial intelligence, we talk about all the different technologies, right? We talk about all the different advancements, what mankind has been blessed to create landing things and on different planets. And we must have heard about how NASA landed this unmanned craft on Mars right?

01:11:04--> 01:11:48

A few weeks ago, all the ability that mankind has this knowledge stems from an animal to kind of do what x and he inspires it to be to come into existence. Allah subhanho wa Taala This is a shampoo on tomorrow, because when I shems refers to the sun. And this is a blessing from the blessings of Allah, because of the sun, we have seasons will come up, enter the blessing from the blessings of Allah, because of the moon, we have months. And we know when we have to observe certain types of worship. Allah says, because Ben, because Ben means they are set on a course by Allah subhanho wa Taala has been

01:11:53--> 01:12:39

they follow a fixed course. And this is a mercy from Allah, because if they didn't, and the sun distance itself from the earth, more than it was supposed to, you'd be harmed, you might freeze. And if it came closer, more than it was supposed to, you would be harmed because you would burn. And if they didn't run on the courses, they would crash and disaster would come to be. And if they also didn't run on their fixed costs, as Allah has set them, then you wouldn't know your seasons and you wouldn't know your months and you wouldn't have the ability to worship Allah subhanho wa Taala we know that we use the Hillel. Yes. aluna Quranic Hilda they asked the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa

01:12:39--> 01:12:58

sallam about the Hillel. He said that Allah has placed this for you. And it's used to understand the beginning of the month and the end of the month and we know we went bullhead Jia comes in and we know when Ramadan comes in. We know when to begin fasting. We know when to stop fasting, a shampoo will come through because bad

01:12:59--> 01:13:03

is what Allah subhanho wa Taala says when legible was sheduled Yes, Judah.

01:13:05--> 01:13:08

And ledger. Some of the scholars say refers to a small fee.

01:13:09--> 01:13:54

And they say because after Allah says we're shedder and ashada refers to a fully grown tree. And Allah subhanahu Allah says that they both prostrate they both frustrate a shampoo our natural shegerian Judah they both prostrate, but the stronger opinion is najem here refers to the status and a sheduled refers to the trees and Allah subhanho wa Taala tells us about this reality in another eye in the Quran in surah al Hajj, Allah says Allah, Allah, Allah, Allah is Allah who is somewhat warm until our worships one comma one newzoo. Well zhiban was sheduled what the lab workers you mean an S worker?

01:13:56--> 01:14:01

Allah subhanho wa Taala Allah says, Have you not seen Have you not recognized how

01:14:02--> 01:14:30

to Allah subhanho wa Taala the heavens have lost who can who Allah do the heavens prostrate everything in the heavens, and everything on Earth was shrimps and the sun will come on and the moon when new June and the stars will zhiban and the mountains were sheduled and the trees would ban all the animals that walk on the face of this earth. Well, Kathy, you mean a NASA law says and many of the people

01:14:31--> 01:14:33

doesn't say all of the people.

01:14:34--> 01:14:43

Many of the people and for many have carry him either for many Allah's punishment has been decreed upon them.

01:14:44--> 01:14:59

So in this particular I lost panda who Allah tells us that a legend the stars prostrate. This the stronger opinion and Allah knows best is legend here refers to the stars, even though linguistically it can apply to a smaller tree. Some Arabs, they say a legend when they refer to

01:15:00--> 01:15:06

As a tree that's beginning to sprout. And Allah subhanho wa Taala Allah knows best.

01:15:07--> 01:15:32

Also when Allah sees that he set the moon and the sun on a fixed course, this teaches us of how perfect are lots of Hannah who Earth and as we mustn't forget that lesson, because this is teaching us about Allah. And this is from the objectives of Sudoku Rama. We're not here to learn a scientific lesson of how the sun in the moon leaves even though we can benefit from the discussion. But we've got to look beyond

01:15:33--> 01:16:05

beyond the apparent meaning. And we go beyond the apparent meaning when Allah says wash shampoo and wash wash shampoo or tomorrow give us bad allies teaching us of how perfect Allah subhanho wa Taala is. And when we go across the apparent meaning of an idiom what should you do? Yes, do then that the stars and the trees prostrate Allah subhanho wa Taala is teaching us have the level of servitude and submission that exists in the creation of Allah subhanho wa Taala those creations that don't have a mind those creations that can't speak

01:16:06--> 01:16:14

and in other is Allah subhanho wa Taala tells us how they praise Allah subhanho wa Taala but you just don't know you don't understand their praise.

01:16:16--> 01:16:43

They praise Allah subhanho wa Taala when I can let us be home, but you cannot comprehend it just be so understand, oh servants of a lion or child of Adam and all mankind, that Allah has honored you with speech and with a mind and with the ability to think and act and the best posture. naka de la Kenan insanity x Anita Karim, we created you in the best of postures.

01:16:45--> 01:16:53

Understand that you have all this and they are creations of a law that don't but they submit to Allah in a way greater than you How can this be?

01:16:55--> 01:17:21

We must go beyond the meaning. Then Allah says was Santa Rosa Elisa, Allah subhanho wa Taala says that with regards to the skies in the heavens, we've looked at it, we've raised it without finish that you can see as Allah tells us in another in the Quran, the lady I met in Corona, we raised the heavens without pillars that you can see, some scientists say today this pillars that hold the sky up but you can't see them.

01:17:22--> 01:17:52

And they're known as pockets of air, this air pockets that exists where compression is at zero. They claim these to be hidden pillars that hold up the heavens, Allah subhanho Allah knows best. Allah tells us we've raised the skies we remember in Tirana without pillars that you can see, it could mean with police that you can. Allah subhanho wa Taala knows best. But Allah says we've raised the skies. And look how perfect the skies are raised. You see no cracks you don't see.

01:17:53--> 01:17:58

You know, you don't see the structure, the structure of the sky needing renovation.

01:18:00--> 01:18:34

Learn about how perfect your load is. And because we've raised the skies, things returned to you benefits come to you. The oxygen that you can breathe at a level that's suitable for your lungs exists on earth because of how we raised the skies. Because of how we've raised the skies, radio waves can be utilized by you to ease your communication to pilot lights because of the way allies raise the skies. We have radio waves in existence and now we have satellites in existence because of the way Allah has raised the skies.

01:18:35--> 01:18:51

Because of how we raised the skies water comes down to you. We know of conditional rainfall and relief rainfall how law sometimes uses the mountains and and how Allah raises water and turns it into precipitation because of how he's raised the skies and returns it down to earth.

01:18:54--> 01:19:13

This is a sign of a line is perfection and this is the blessing of Allah subhanho wa Taala to you. And Allah says Well, what does it mean? That Allah subhanho wa Taala has set the borders of justice, so somebody might immediately translate this as scales, but the scholars of the CC Misa and here refers to the borders of justice knowing right from wrong.

01:19:15--> 01:19:32

Knowing right from wrong, Allah has revealed the do's and revealed the don'ts, has sent down the measure through which you will understand and realize what is right from what is wrong. And then Allah says, Allah Tato kill Misa Allah topco kill me that will appeal we'll

01:19:34--> 01:19:44

talk soon Misa Allah subhanho wa Taala this letter Kofi Misa, if we say Misa and here are the borders of right and wrong, Allah is saying don't cross the boundaries.

01:19:45--> 01:19:48

Don't go over the boundaries of right and wrong.

01:19:52--> 01:19:57

It's amazing in the Quran when Allah talks about Hillel. He says still kahuku la he Fela

01:19:59--> 01:20:00

Rama

01:20:00--> 01:20:08

About Helen, he says these are the boundaries of Allah, let her do her don't cross them. Because if you cross them, you go into hell.

01:20:09--> 01:20:22

And when he speaks up Haram, he says still cuckoo to life, Allah Takara Buddha. When he speaks of Haram, he says these are the borders of Allah don't go near it. With regards to holiday season, cross it when you go to the border, but don't jump over the border.

01:20:23--> 01:20:35

And somebody want to build walls on the border, people avoid the jumping, right? Don't jump the borders, when it comes to Halloween, when it comes to horror, don't even go near the border. Don't go near the fence.

01:20:38--> 01:20:47

And that's why mcru exists near the fence. If you enter that, for that, that territory you in the macro, and if you get to the fence now you have.

01:20:48--> 01:21:08

So Allah says Allah has laid down the guidelines of right and wrong, don't transgress them. Then Allah says Joaquim was never built so and with regards to your buying and selling that is done via measurement. If your progress is that which is sold through measure

01:21:10--> 01:21:10

where you

01:21:12--> 01:21:19

don't practice stop thief, top tip is don't manipulate the scales. Don't cheat in your measure.

01:21:20--> 01:21:40

And he said that the best place to buy things through measure is in Medina. He said that and some of the scholars say that even in Saudi Arabia when they travel across the different regions as they get to Medina, they say that they get the most value for money when they purchase in Medina because they deliberately add more to the skills because of sosaku kokeshi.

01:21:41--> 01:22:08

allogeneic stylu lN nasci Yes, tofu. Allah warns us about those who cheat on the scales. And so Pamela, recently I was sent a picture, a video in another land we won't mention won't name and shame, but in another language professionally, you can see them cheating on the scales. Professionally, I was absolutely shocked to see this professional misguidance being manifested. And I'm sure for those of us mining, you've seen the video.

01:22:10--> 01:22:15

People has this exist, ignorance exists, right? So Allah warns us against this, whatever.

01:22:16--> 01:22:24

Talk Cyril, Misa Allah subhana wa Tada. You have to stop by Krishna. Allah subhanho wa Taala says

01:22:27--> 01:23:08

so establish the weight with justice. And Paul, not short in the balance. There are lots of Hannah who are there that says well out of the water I had in nm, it is he who has spread out the earth for his creatures. And Allah tells us this in many parts of the Quran, that Allah has spread the earth out for us and because of it we can plant we can cultivate, we can travel, imagine if the earth was was bouncing, right? was not didn't have flat terrain. How would we move around? How would we meet people? How would we search for sustenance? How would the animals feed, this is a blessing from Allah subhanho wa Taala upon you, that He created you for this earth and he also created the earth

01:23:08--> 01:23:21

in a way that suitable for you as a creation. Then Allah subhanho wa Taala Allah says, We have ki Hutton one afternoon that a command Allah Subhana who Allah says then his fruit and dairy farms producing,

01:23:24--> 01:24:01

producing produce that you benefit from and you get your vitamins from and you be you become food from and you are healthy because now obviously in the Arabic language, these words are very eloquent. But if I go into the Arabic details of these words and how Allah subhanho wa Taala is using them and what they express and how it's being expressed and so on and so forth. We'll be stuck on an idea for all three hours Allah when you see the aroma going into the depth that is a command, a command, the plural of come and what's the comb and the different linguistic meanings that can be extracted from comb and then what are the implications on the meaning of the eye and so on and so

01:24:01--> 01:24:42

forth. The lights it's mind blowing Mashallah, this is the nature of the Quran, I'm just giving you a tip of law here, tip of the tip of the iceberg, really, Allah subhanho wa Taala says we'll have Buddha ask your right hand again, even this ayah scholars spent a long time just discussing these words and have the last word Rehan Allah subhanho wa Taala says that also corn with its leaves and Stoke for father, as well as sweet smelling plants, and he had refers to something that gives a sweet smell, but it also refers to a covering that covers something in such a way that it's pleasing for you to look at. Right? There are some people named a rotisserie Hannah, and it's the people so

01:24:42--> 01:25:00

what does it mean? They can't Some people say refers to a plant and one of the meanings of is it refers to something that's pleasing to look at rehab. This is going to the meaning of the reality of why there's a cover and this is the depth of the Arabic language that a cover of a particular fruit like if corn is covered

01:25:00--> 01:25:10

With the green covering, right, this is this is a cover to it. But because it's covered, it becomes pleasing to look at. So the Arabs use these terms in this way.

01:25:11--> 01:25:51

They look at the reality that was created because of the covering and the meaning of the reality they applied to the term as well. And this is from the depths of the Arabic language. Then Allah says Serbia de la Iran, Pico Magica, the band, which of the phases of your load to you, Dina, which of the phases of your Lord Do you deny? This is the first mention of it. After Allah subhanho wa Taala mentions to us all these mighty blessings. ponder over this. The favors of your Lord that you deny and everything that has been shed, as we go into our break, just before closing off, when the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam recited surah, to rough men to the G recited it to the jinn. And

01:25:51--> 01:26:29

then he decided to go to the Sahaba when he recited it to the gym, every time he said for big Allah or a big mama to cut the ban, which of the famous of your Lord Do you deny which of the favors of your Lord Oh Jin, and all mankind?
