Keep Your Eyes on the Prize

We're studying, think about every single person who's sitting over here. When we were studying what was motivating us to study, think about a doctor, how many of us when we were growing up, our parents want to wanted us to become a doctor, or an engineer and so forth. Why? Because you study you study hard, you get a good job, you'll get good pay. And so that will motivate us every single time we will get tired. that end goal will keep us and will keep us awake. that end goal will motivate us what motivated Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam to go through all of his hardships. At the end of the day, he had his eye on the prize and that was Jana, when Rasulullah saw

some of his Sahaba when they would go through difficulties. They had their eyes on the prize, which was Jana, when he came to unassembled, another of the Allah to the iron and he went up to the Battle of hearts, what motivated him to jump into the enemy line and fight till his death. He said to his companion, that will Allah He I smell the fragrance of Jana coming from Mount or hoods, that NSL was motivation for him. He said, first of all, I saw some prophets. There were some prophets that had a group of people with

them. And then I saw some prophets that they had no one with them, no followers, and then he says, I saw another companion. In fact, I saw a group of people he said, and then I asked, because it was a big group of people. He said, that I asked the whose group of people they are whose people they are, whose OMA is this, because he wanted to he wanted this OMA to be his own. This is Roswaal so long while he was speaking, and he was told that this is the OMA of Musa alayhis salam. And then the Prophet alayhi salam was shown his own Ma, and then the Malayaka they told the prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam that for your OMA, there will be 70,000 people who will enter into Jannah without

any accountability. And when the Prophet sallallahu it was some he heard this he went inside his home, the Sahaba de gathered outside the house of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam to inquire that What is that? Who are those people who are going to be amongst the 70,000 people? And he began to debate and Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, he came out of his home, and he asked her, What are you debating about? And they said, Yes, so Allah, you mentioned about 70,000 people, but then you never mentioned who are those? And the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, he said that these are the people who did not involve in unlawful Rukia These are not people who are involved in

bad omens. And then he says why Allah Robbie him yet our Kowloon these are people who put their Tawakkol he they put their reliance in Allah subhanho wa taala. And at that time, the most important thing, this is why I mentioned this hadith when you have the motivation of Jana, and you know that at the end of the day, that's my reward, and we work hard for that. Then every opportunity comes our way we will try to attain Jana. At that time a man stood up he did not think twice he stood up ya rasool Allah, please make dua that I'm amongst us 70,000 people, and the problem so when someone says, oh Kashia you are amongst the 70,000 people, and then it's another Sahabi got up and he says

Yara Sula, make dua for me for the same thing. And the Prophet Allah Islam says Subiaco can be her or Kashia they Akasha has beaten you to Jannah The point I'm trying to make is brothers and sisters Subhanallah today we all go through difficulties in life. We all go through difficulties in life. When we look at the Muslim affairs in general, what should motivate us that at the end of the day, we can deal with all these difficulties that we can deal with all these hardships. It is that Jana that should be motivating us at the end of the day, I know that in sha Allah for my inshallah yes in this dunya I am going through difficulty yes in this dunya my Muslim brothers and sisters are going

through difficulty but in sha Allah they will be one day a recompence when we say Maliki Yomi Deen, that means that they will be a day where Allah will establish justice, justice will be served to every single person and not only that, but in sha Allah every single person who has an iota as an iota amount of Iman and Allah in their heart inshallah de will be going to Jana to, but not only that, but why else should we strive for Jana? Let me share with you a beautiful hadith of Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. It says that on the Day of Judgment, think about this, you know, when someone comes to us, imagine if someone came to us and said, Tell me about your problems in life. We

can sit down with that person and we will spend the entire night I have this problem. I have that problem. And we all indeed we all

have problems we all have challenges and we can name each one. When we will appear on the Day of Judgment, we will not have forgotten our challenges. Allah will remind us, our book of deeds will be made open in front of us and we will read each one and we will recall Allah will remind us about the situations in this dunya but what happens in Jana Jana is such a place brothers and sisters, that you will not remember any difficulty. No person will remember any calamity any misery that they went through in this dunya because the Hadith and prophets are some says that a person who lived his life in misery they will be only dipped into Jannah you know when you take you know, there's chip chips

and dip you know, you just take a chip and you dip it inside the sauce and you just take it out right that's all it is. So think about a person he's only dipped into Jana just in Jana one second and out. That's it. Allah subhanho wa Taala will ask this person that do you what did you experience in dunya? The fact that he only got a glimpse of Jana Anna lived in Jana did not stay a moment of Jana. Just a glimpse into Jana. He will say well, Allah He I have never expressed any I've never experienced any misery in my life. Jana is that amazing? Why do you think Allah tells us over and over again about Jana is to help us recover from our calamities. We go through trials and

tribulations, but Allah is telling us keep your eye on the prize. Keep your eye on the end goal and this dunya will become easy for you. Every challenge will become easy for you. Every difficulty will come easy for you. Every test will become easy for you. Every Islamophobic attack will become easy for you. Every time people will say things to you as Allah subhanaw taala he says wala Tessmer owner most certainly you will hear people criticizing you. But at the end of the day, what interests me you know what a taboo for infidelity I mean, this is what

happens when a when you and I when we are patient, and we keep our eye on the prize. So let's when we are going through our difficulties, as we're going through this difficult time as the OMA let us just keep our eye on the prize. Let's ask ALLAH SubhanA wa Taala for Jana, because once we are given that Jana the none of this matters, then none of this all this will Allah you will go back we will look back and we will say well Allah it was all worth it. Because what we will be given in Jannah and I ask Allah subhana wa Taala to first of all make us amongst the 70,000 people may Allah subhanho wa Taala make us are amongst those who will enter into Jannah without any accountability

and ask ALLAH SubhanA wa to give us strength, we ask Allah subhanho wa Taala to give us strength in times of difficulty, and not only that, but in times of ease. May Allah subhanho wa Taala give us the ability to not forget him because that in itself is a test as they say you know some people's in wudu they say Allah they can be asthma to him and make up your asthma and sometimes Allah He gives any tests and sometimes Allah He takes and he tests but as long as we are committed and our goal is Jana, in sha Allah you and I will be uncertain with stuff that you might ask ALLAH SubhanA wa Tala to give all of us ability to act what's been said and heard does not come Allah Hey, Salam why they
