We praise Allah Subhana Allah to Allah, we thank him for everything he has given us. We asked him to send blessings and salutations upon Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and all his household and companions. Last week, we heard about the nations of ad and the mood In brief, and the fact that they rejected the message that was brought to them by the messengers of Allah subhanho wa Taala. When the enemies of Allah will be gathered to the fire, while they are driven, assembled in rows. So there is a description of how the enemies of Allah will be driven in rows into the Hellfire, or just to the Hellfire, just before they actually enter or as they have entered, they will be in rows. And from this we learn a few things one is a person who will be driven to Hellfire is one who is the enemy of Allah we spoke about last week, those who sin out of human weakness and those who sin out of defiance of Allah subhanho wa Taala where we would like to hope that we do not sin and if we do out of human weakness it would be and not out of defiance of Allah subhanho wa Taala may forgive us.

So if someone is a declared enemy of Allah, declared enemy of their own maker, and they have defied him and done that which he has prohibited, and at the same time, not engaged in that which was or compulsory, then they are enemies of Allah who Allah subhanho wa Taala may choose to throw them or cast them into Hellfire May Allah protect us all from that. So he warns us, number one, it would have to be an enemy of a lot. Number two is Subhan Allah, the

And then Allah subhanho wa Taala says when they reach it, meaning the fire, their hearing, and their eyes and their skins will testify against them of what they used to do. This is a powerful verse where Allah subhanho wa Taala is speaking about those who will be cast into Hellfire before they are actually thrown in. They will each have a case a court case, they will have to be proven guilty and they will have to be confirmed enemies so to speak. So what will happen during the case, they will be dealing with Allah subhanho wa Taala they will be asked, What did you

do your deeds and so on, they will make mention of something and perhaps deny certain things. You know, those who committed sin out of weakness would admit that Oh Allah we committed the sin we did this we did that we seek you know, we sought your forgiveness and at the same time we did not do it in order to defy you. And Allah subhanho wa Taala through His mercy will probably grant them Jenna, as is in so many iterations of the Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wasallam, the Hadith and here Allah subhanho wa Taala is making mention of how those who deny what they used to do, Allah subhanho wa Taala will then seal them out. Like in the verse of surah Yaseen,

So your ears will your ears are subjected to whatever you have subjected them to. So if you do not want to listen to something, you put your fingers in your ears so that your ears not only become or do not become guilty of listening to whatever it was, but will not bear witness against you. Did you know that if you're sitting in a gathering and people begin to backbite, and slander and gossip and engage in this type of speech, it is our duty to actually get up and walk out? excuse ourselves, perhaps tell them Look, my sisters, my brothers, whoever you are, do not do this. You're not allowed to be speaking about this. And if you don't change the topic, I'm leaving, and we leave so that at least our ears don't have to bear witness against us. So Allah says here, the faculty of hearing will bear witness as to what they used to do. You

subjected the faculty of hearing that you were blessed with, to listen to something. Your ears perhaps did not want to listen to that, but you forced them to so now they're saying, Oh Allah, we heard this and we heard that we were made to hear this by him or by her. The same would apply to the eyes. May Allah protect us in our eyes And may Allah subhanho wa Taala. Forgive us for our shortcomings. Like I've said, We are human beings, sometimes we may end up looking at things and we are not supposed to. And if that's the case, then we ask Allah for forgiveness and return to Him but a person who is the enemy of a lot defiant, their eyes will bear witness as to what they used to see

what they used to do with those eyes. And you know what? their skins will bear witness testify against them, the skins will testify against them. May Allah subhanho wa Taala not make us from those whose skins testify against us, my mothers and sisters, it is something very, very serious worth pondering. Obviously, we are weak, as I've said.

But you know, when you look at your skin and Mashallah you take care of it and you have the moisturizers and you have the various soaps and the shower gels and everything else and the shampoos and what have you. And we should just pause for a moment and think about Allah I love my dear body and skin so much that you know if I develop one wrinkle and half depressed, but at the same time, what about when that same wrinkle begins to talk, Allahu Akbar. And it says all this is what happened. So it's important for us to take heed, I'm not going to go into details as to exactly you know, there are so many details that you can all think of as to what the skin would bear witness

who the enemies of Allah, once the skins bear witness, they will talk back to their skins, telling their skins, why have you testified against us? So the skins will say, we were made to speak by Allah who has made everything speak in the first place he had created you in the first place, and to him, You are returned.

So Allah Who made you speak before has made us speak now. And Allah Who created you before has now given us the capacity to bear witness against you. So here we are speaking loudly. Allah make our skins bear witness for us and not against us. I mean, my mothers and sisters, it's scary. But at the same time, the hope we have and I'm repeating this, when we seek forgiveness of sins are wiped out completely, no trace, no shadow, nothing gone. Even the skins are made to forget what happened bear witness against the man, we have nothing to say nothing bad to say the only thing we have to say your lips will bear witness, your tongue will bear witness we constantly sought forgiveness of you

So verse number 22, Allah subhanho wa Taala says, and you will not covering or protecting yourselves, lest your hearing testify against you, or your site, or your skins, but you assume that Allah does not know much of what you do. So this verse is just a warning to those who are the enemies of Allah subhanho wa Taala saying that, when you were warned about your skin is bearing witness your difficulty of hearing bearing witness against you and your eyes bearing witness against you. You did not cover yourself, you did not protect yourself, you did not take heed, you did not think and ponder over what we were telling you. And you thought that Allah does

You can only get away with it if you had sought forgiveness, or you would have only got gotten away with it if you had sought forgiveness. But you did not do that. So Panama. And this is where we have hope. What is the hope we have? Allah here we seek His forgiveness. And we've just heard, and I'm sure every one of us who've just heard about how the skins and all that bear witness against people, we start feeling younger, forgive us. Yeah, I don't want my skin to bear witness against me. You know, in this world, like I say we take pride in our skin and so on. If your eyes cannot see so clearly

We quickly go and saw that seek remedy. And we want you know, our spectacles and contact lenses and what else and so on? Because we'd like to see not realizing sometimes that What are you using those eyes for? If it's for pornography, then you know, you'd better change your ways and habits. May Allah protect us. But there are 1000s of other examples where Allah Subhana Allah, Allah forgive us and strengthen us, and may He make our youth and our children also from amongst those who can take heed, and who can strengthen themselves by the mercy of Allah subhanho wa Taala and his power, when Allah says Allah subhanho wa Taala.

And that was your assumption which you assumed about your Lord, it has brought you to ruin

and you have become among the losers. So who are the losers, those who had the wrong assumption about Allah, those who thought YOLO you only live once, so do as you please, you know, do whatever you want, because you're not coming back onto this earth in order to do it again. So whatever you feel like doing quickly get it done. If that's the attitude, it means they have not. They have had the wrong assumption of Allah subhanho wa Taala. And this is what Allah says.

And that was your assumption which you assumed about your Lord. What was the assumption that Allah does not know much of what you do, you're not going to return to Him, your your faculties of hearing and so on, that Allah has blessed you with cannot bear witness against you. That's just a fairy tale. If we continue thinking that way, all those who think that way, would probably then deserve to be reminded or told otherwise one day and penalized if Allah wishes to do that. Remember, penalisation is in the hands of Allah if he wills He forgives if he will do punishers. He is the judge and the owner. He is the owner of the heart. He is the judge of what lies in the hearts. He

has the right to judge, he created the heart. This is why he calls himself Malika Boumediene Owner of the Day of Judgment. The Supreme judge, the one who's ruling is never wrong. The one who knows what is like what lies in the depths of the hearts and what lies behind the vision of the eyes. or lie It's something serious, the Quran has described it. Yeah, Allah Maha in Italian, one or two. So do you know when people look at you, and sometimes we look at the face and we see Wow, this person looks genuine. You know, they look serious, they look good. They look like they're close to us. And you don't know what lies behind those eyes. Sometimes the most innocent of faces could be the most

but sometimes somehow a lie we are duped into something we are conned into believing that someone is a decent person when they're not. And this is why it is reported on mahatama. The Allahu anhu according to some narrations has stated that you only know a person if you've traveled with them, if you've lived with them, if you've done business with them, somehow, if you haven't done one of those three, don't say you know them, you don't, you might know a part of them, which they've chosen to show you. But the minute you've lived with them, or you've traveled a nice good distance with them, or you have done business dealings with them, you will then be able to know you can say Look, I know

this person, how do you know that because I used to deal with them for many years. And they never ever did anything wrong. Or I lived with them for so long. And they were really good people and so on. Allah subhanho wa Taala makers from amongst those who those who know us truly can bear witness for us. And sometimes you know, when people don't really know you and they pass ruling and judgment against you, sometimes you've just got to excuse them, you've just got to excuse them people talk a whole load of rubbish about you and die sometimes without even knowing us. And if that's the case, just excuse them carry on life is bigger than that. Alhamdulillah May Allah subhanho wa Taala

protect us and our reputations and may make us really and truly from amongst those who have a good reputation and may grant a success on the day of reckoning. I mean, so Allah subhanho wa Taala says, This is what brought you to ruin and you have become among the losers today you've lost when you were in the world you thought we're going to gain by doing whatever we want. But you didn't realize there was a bigger message regarding where you were and why you were there and you did not take heat. So here you are, you've lost out completely. It's like people who go out and play computer games for the first time without reading the rules without getting a tutorial of knowing how exactly

to play the game. And suddenly you sit there you put money into the slot and before you've even started playing the game. It's the screen flashes at you saying game over I don't know if you felt that I have Game Over game over and you just get so irritated I just put my coins in now. Well it was your fault you should have watched one or two other people play you should have got a tutorial or two. You should have seen what happened and then you should have slotted your coins in and come in and played. You perhaps should have scored

But life is not a game. I've just given that example because we're here once. We've got tutorials, we've got messages. We've seen people go before us, we've seen people come and go, we've seen our great grandfather's, or should I say, we haven't seen our great grandfather's, but we've known that they were here and they've died. And where did they go? Wherever they went? We're also going to a similar place. May Allah make agenda? I mean,

and then what? So we've already seen everything, but why don't we take heat? Come on, it's just once and you know what, it's shade bond. And it's all the beauty of this world and the magnetism of the of this entire world that really sends us off our feet, should I say it actually sends us off track? That shouldn't be the case. May Allah Subhana Allah Allah forgive us and strengthen us, may he make us understand and realize why we are in the world. So Allah subhanho wa Taala says, For that you became losers, then he says,

so even if they are patient, even if they are patient, the fire is a residence for them.

And if they asked to appease Allah, they will not be of those who are allowed to appease What this means is now it will be too late. Once you've arrived, at your point of reckoning, where Allah is going to take account of your deeds and what you did whilst you were on Earth. It's too late to say I'm sorry. Now. How can you be sorry, everything is finished, it's over. The life in which you had the right to be sorry, is gone.

And this is why this morning when I was going through the verses, I was thinking to myself from Allah, we are so so fortunate that Allah judges US based on our ending, and never on how we started and never on what we did in the middle. If it was bad, it's just the ending, how you ended. So if my last few words were all love, forgive me all. I really Forgive me, I regret what I did, I really am at your mercy and so on, you'll be judged according to the final moments. You know, it reminds me of a cricket game, or should I say a soccer match. The opposition can score five goals at the beginning. But if you scored six at the end, that little last one, even if it came in the 89th

See, so some of us are living Mashallah the last few moments of their lives sometimes well into injury time, what that means is the average that Allah has spoken about the blessing lives of Muhammad Sallallahu Sallam of between 60 and 70 years, we've already crossed that in some cases. So at least if we've got good words on our tongues, and goodness, we will be preparing for the era. And Allah will judge us according to how we've died the condition upon death. And this is why it's wrong for us as muslimeen to pass judgment upon someone who's died, if we don't know the exact condition upon which he has died, or

she has died. We don't. So let's leave that for Allah. You know, people say, What is he going to do with this person? But that person? I don't know, I know that there are warnings for bad people. And there are these glad tidings for good people. But what exactly Allah chooses to do to x, y or z? I have no clue. And guess what, if I get too engrossed in that, I'm going to lose focus upon where I am heading or from where I am heading.

you know, to concentrate on our own lives and to try and help others but not be judgmental and start passing rulings. This person is definitely in health. Who knows? How do you know? Are you the owner of

Allah subhanho wa Taala. Protect us May he make us from those who take heed? So Allah subhanho wa Taala says, and before I go ahead, he has the right to issue. Warnings, he has the right to say if someone does this, I will do this to them. And if someone does that, I will do that to them. He has the right to do whatever he wishes. Like he says, I can forgive whomsoever I wish certain things I may not forgive so panel it is right. And what exactly has happened to people and so on. It's his right obviously to choose and to decide it is not our right.

Allah says, You know what, we only chose you to be a parent of another human being because we wanted a certain thing to come to pass, but that does not give you the right to choose to

That's a failure of the test. And addicted. One of the main points of rehabilitation is to change to make change in your life, what type of change your routine, your friends, your environment, you know, and so on how you

So Subhan Allah, this is something great and grand and what what helped us become better was the company that we had, you know, if if a person doesn't really pray much, and all his friends pray, they stop whatever they're doing at prayer time and they decide to pray, believe me, this

Allah says, Whoever doesn't remember us, whoever does not remind themselves of us. We appoint for them devils as companions, people who are devils, who will actually turn them further away. Allah says, you want to turn away from us. And you want to defy us? Well, you can carry on in your defiance, it

You know, powerfulness is alive reminding us that people before you have gone, they were good, they were bad. So if you are bad, you join those who died before you who are bad. And if you are good, you join those who died before you were good. They all came in. They found they were given a little slot in this world. And once their time was expired, they had to leave just like everyone else left before them. Where did they go they went wherever the others went. The good to a good
