Because if it becomes too long, I think we would lose the value of it. When people go for Hajj it is just five days Imagine if Hajj was one whole year. If every one of us had to go and live in Mecca and Medina for a whole year, possibly we might lose the respect of the place. This is why these short powerful doses are far more effective and this is why Allah subhanho wa Taala has given us such blessings. The Night of Power or decree known as les electronica is just a single night. Imagine if it happened to be so many nights people would
become lazy, and people would probably not even have the courage to want to go and worship Allah subhanho wa Taala throughout the whole night from the last 10 nights of Ramadan because they would think well look, I have another opportunity and another one and another one. This evening, we read very beautiful verses of the Quran where Allah subhanho wa Taala has explained many, many issues. Obviously, we are only going to select a few. We need to understand that the prophets of Allah subhanho wa Taala was selected by Allah, He chose the best, the best of the best. And he sent them to mankind. So when he sent the prophets, they will always exemplary unlike what we find in the Old Testament that the Christians have in their hands right now and the other testaments that they have, where they claim that the Prophet Lord had committed so many sins and David and Solomon had committed so many crimes and so on. In Islam, we don't believe in all that to us that is
blasphemy. That would and Sulaiman David and Solomon we say May peace be upon them, loot a lot we say May peace be upon him. They were people who are protected by Allah subhanho wa Taala. They were the best they did not engage in sin, as it is claimed by others. So then when Allah subhanho wa Taala sent them to mankind, and Allah instructed them to go and inform mankind the job was much easier, the task was much easier, but we find mankind with the sophisticated brain that he has still rejected the message of the messengers who were in front of them will admit him or shamika him,
which means in their own flesh, they were in front of the people, instructing them what to do, but still you find people turning away. In one verse, he says that for all

If those conditions are met, it may be permissible nowadays, those conditions are not met. When muslimeen tell you something is halal. Sometimes they themselves don't know it's halal. Now in the United States of America, if you have relatives there, you may ask them. There are people who claim
to be muslimeen who say that for as long as it's not pork you can eat for as long as it's not a dead animal you can eat so if they see chicken, they call it halaal not realizing that halaal is made up of two things, one is whether the animal is edible or not. And the second is whether it was slaughtered properly or not. So now they are using a new term in the United States halaal the beha which means it is slaughtered in a halal manner. May Allah subhanho wa Taala protect us We are so fortunate, we have Allah in our midst who do that job for us May Allah Subhana Allah Allah grant us the strength to support them, and May Allah subhanho wa Taala grant them also the strength to
fulfill their job in a proper manner. I mean, so Allah subhanho wa Taala after making mention of that, and this is obviously because it is Surah Al Anam where the cattle are mentioned and Allah is saying what you are allowed to eat what you are not allowed to eat. There is quite a bit of detail there. Then Allah subhanho wa Taala says
there is a list of items that are prohibited, prohibited. And he mentioned parts of these items in sequence in a single verse.
And that verse happens to also be here in Surah Al Anam it is repeated elsewhere in the Quran with a little bit of different detail but Allah says here hola agito faema Li Mo Hara Rahman Allah Otto me

Allah has created whatever is on this earth for you, except those items obviously that he has. He has prohibited and those are a few items. If you look at what is permissible, so much more is permissible than what is prohibited. We ask Allah Subhana Allah to Allah to make us thankful. Then Allah subhanho wa Taala makes mention of why he revealed the Book. And he calls the book, The Blessed book, why he reviewed the book The other day, we heard a verse, Allah says in order for us to understand it, in order for us to ponder over its verses listen to what he says in the verses of Surah Al Anam waha kita buen

Allah says so follow this book and be conscious of Allah so that you may achieve Rama which is the mercy of Allah. So if I would like the mercy of Allah subhanho wa Taala I need to have two qualities according to this verse. One is to follow the message of the book to follow the deen remember the book itself it does not mean we don't believe in the Hadith. No we do. When you follow the Quran, it leads you to the Sunnah. And when you follow the Quran and the Sunnah, it leads you to jurisprudence, it definitely does. It leads you to the entire Sharia, if you follow it correctly. So Allah says, you follow the Sharia number one and number two is you have consciousness of Allah
within you and you will achieve Rama which means the mercy of Allah May Allah subhanho wa Taala Be merciful upon us all and May Allah subhanho wa Taala show His mercy upon us.
This is why in one of the verses of Surah Al Anam towards the end, Allah subhanho wa Taala makes mention of how a person's deeds will mount will be multi will be multiplied if they have done good or on condition. And here is the condition Let's listen to it.

Allah uses the word whoever comes with a good deed that good deed shall be multiplied by 10. And whoever comes with a bad deed, that bad deed won't be multiplied because Allah does not oppress Subhanallah you come with a bad deed. Allah says, I won't multiply that I will consider it a bad deed. But you come with a good deed Allah says I will multiply it what is the condition? The condition is in the word coming. deeds are over May Allah protect us, then the bad deeds of those people come and they are taken. So the Zener committed by that man comes on to him. And this robbery committed by the other man comes on to him and the rumors, spreading and backbiting committed by the other man comes on to him and then what happens he is thrown into jahannam yet he came with so many good deeds. This brings about the understanding of the verse I have read that if you come with your good deeds, that is when you are a winner not only if you do it now Allah subhanho wa Taala grant us an understanding
these are the powerful verses of the Quran. No loopholes in the Sharia. where people can claim that we are Mussolini's we are people who give a lot of Zakah and then they forget that there is another side to the coin. How are you treating fellow Muslims and other human beings? are you treating them fairly?
In the next tour Allah subhanho wa Taala has named the total RF and RF is a wall which has a high position here in the surah between Jenna and Jana It is reported that they will be a place where people will be parked upon people will be sitting upon and those people will be neither this way you know that way watching the people going here and going there and finally Allah will grant them Jenna. And in the same surah Allah Subhana Allah Allah speaks about how important it is to dress appropriately when you are coming to the masjid to the houses of Allah subhanho wa Taala imagine Allah is instructing us to dress appropriately, when you are about to put your head on the ground for the sake of Allah dressed nicely, properly, possibly, you know, make sure that you are presentable. Today when we have a meeting with someone important, what do we do we dress up a little bit at least you know presumptively, sometimes if it's someone extremely important, we might even buy ourselves a new pair of clothing and so on. But sometimes we are guilty when we go to the masjid
Mashallah, what happens? I don't want to mention We ask Allah Subhana Allah to make us presentable, Mashallah. All the brothers here look very presentable. May Allah Subhana, Allah Allah grant us the ability to always be proud of the fact that we are standing in front of him and he has granted as acceptance to do that. And whenever we stand in front of Allah subhanho wa Taala make sure we are dressed smart and meet for the pleasure of Allah to show Allah not to show anybody else. So Allah subhanho wa Taala mentions that also in these verses thereafter, and I'd like to spend a few moments with this. The people of Jana and Jana will have a discussion.

One of the reasons is, because for him, there is nothing like a tense, I said, time is a creature of Allah subhanho wa Taala he created time. So for Allah, there is no present tense, past tense, future tense, it is time, that creature will come to a halt, it will come to an end, they will be nothing known as time in the era. No, if I were to meet you 15 billion years down the line in Jana, and I were to ask you how much time has gone by you won't even be able to answer the question. And if we are fortunate to know 15 billion, and I want to ask you how much time is
remaining? Obviously, this is the warning. And Allah says, finally a woman

on this day, we have forgotten them or we will forget them in the same way that they forgot this particular day. And in another verse, Allah says in the same way they forgot us. When they forgot us, we will forget them this day called scream, do what you want, we won't answer. And I want to end on this note in sha Allah making mention of the call of Allah.
As we said, moments ago, the kuffar when they call out for whatever goodness, they are in desperate need of they won't get it. Why? Because in the dunya, when Allah called, they did not respond, what's the call of Allah?
We are Muslim and we need to know the call of Allah one is calling us towards the man that is there Mashallah. We have it in sha Allah and
At the same time, there is a call for your five daily prayers. Allah is asking you, you are healthy, you are fine, you are well, nothing wrong with you or me. And Allah saying five prayers a day. I was calculating it the other day, if you have to read the bare minimum, it won't take you more than 24 minutes in 24 hours, Allah is asking you for 24 minutes in 24 hours. And when Allah calls out to us, asking us to fulfill our Salah, what happens? He doesn't need us, we need it more than him. In fact, he doesn't need it at all. So it would be wrong for us to say more than anyone. He doesn't need it. We need it. He when he calls out to us. We don't even want to respond who wants to get a facade when
you're on an ordinary day? A lot of people don't? Who wants to dress appropriately when Allah calls out and says, dress appropriately cover your hair? We say no, I'm still too young man. Let's enjoy the world. I don't have any pains on my knees yet. Why should I cover my hair? So then on the in the era when we say Allah give us a bit of water he'll say well, when I called you You didn't listen. Now you want to call me forget? forget Allah protect. So
the same applies bad mouthing, rumor spreading all these things are prohibited. Allah called out to us already saying stay away from these things. Are we going to answer the call? If we answer the call while law he we stand the chance when we call on the day we need whatever we need, we stand the chance for that being given to us in terms of goodness. But if we don't answer the call, what do we expect here? We've heard the verse. It is a serious verse. And I am calling on myself and yourselves really to make drastic and dramatic changes to our lives to become good people.
May Allah subhanho wa Taala grant us the ability to fulfill our Salah to give out Zakah to give our charities to fulfill our taraweeh in order to fast in the month of Ramadan to be good people who have good mouths to be able to spread good stories about others and not bad ones to be able to abstain from gossip and slander to be able to stop deceiving people to have inshallah upright business ethics We ask Allah subhanho wa Taala to give us every form of blessing in this way inshallah when we need and we definitely are in need when we need on the day of piano as well.
