we're asking Allah for protection. So thus the
Prophet shalallahu alaihi wa sallam rushed. So inshaAllah
tomorrow what we gonna do, we have salatul
Dhuhr, then inshaAllah we have a janaza of
1 of our mothers, one of our older
sisters, may Allah have mercy on her, make
du'a for her, may Allah accept her in
this month and make her from those that
he frees from the hellfire.
So there will be janaza
pretty much after the janaza
moves smoothly and leaves to the to the
cemetery bi idhnillahi ta'ala, then we will have
the salah. How long does the salah go?
Allah knows, but the Prophet when he prayed,
he prayed it long.
The thing is now we know when the
eclipse will be over. At the time of
the Prophet they didn't know, they had no
clue when it was going to happen and
when it was going to end.
But the scholars generally speaking they say the
salah should be long,
and number 2 it doesn't have to last
until the eclipse is over.
When the companions were asked how long did
the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam recite?
I believe it was Abdullah ibn Umar, he
said the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam recited
what was equivalent to Surat Al Baqarah,

janazah moves on and leaves smoothly, we're gonna
start the salah.

Khusuf
is Sunnatul Mu'akada,
an emphasized sunnah, it's not a wajib.

sunnah.

And it is recommended for this rakur to
be long. So tomorrow it's gonna be longer
