Last week, we went through
the Treaty of Davia.
We went through the actual
treaty that took place,
we looked at the terms of the agreement between Rasulullah sallallahu, alayhi, wasallam,
and the kuffaar, of Croatia.
And we looked at the difficult circumstances
of the Muslims agreeing to such terms
and the compromises made by the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam. And all of that he did for the greater good that he had seen.
He was doing it for the greater good.
And we looked at the reaction of the Sahaba
to this event, and how they felt rejected and humiliated by what had happened.
This was after
they were gaining momentum, and
they now felt that they had the upper hand
in terms of power over operation.
And we looked at how
last week after the Treaty was
completed,
how the Prophet SAW Selim ordered his companions to get out of the State of Iran and how none of them moved.
And then how eventually he did it himself. And they followed suit.
So today, what we're going to do is we're going to wrap up our discussion of this event,

and one is victorious, we don't call that effect, we call that a nozzle.
And so it also is a victory.
The difference between a nozzle and a thud is that a nozzle can be achieved in one battle.
And
where you cause your enemy to retreat,
you cause them to retreat. However, you don't enter threat, you don't end their threats, like the Battle of

soon after they returned to a Medina there was a problem.
And this brings us to the story of

He wasn't doing it just because they were demanding it. And here he was giving him to the pressure. But rather, he was doing it because this is what Islam teaches us.
So whenever we enter into an agreement, we uphold its terms. And we don't betray, we don't break that agreement. And so a Muslim is bound by the laws of Allah in his dealings, both with Muslims and non Muslims. So we follow whatever rules Allah has put in place in everything that we do.
Then Rasul Allah, He sallallahu alayhi wa sallam told her we will see you,
just as he had told, will agenda before him. If you recall, last week,
we mentioned the story of Abu Jenga, robiola

managed to also escape from Mecca, while the Muslims were still academia.
And the agreement was not even finalized. But the turns had been agreed upon.
And here he was.
And the Prophet SAW sort of tried to negotiate to allow them to stay with themselves, but he wasn't able to.
And then he told our agenda, but did he tell him you have to be patient and he has to endure your situation for Allah sake. And Allah will certainly make a way for you and those suffering with you in Mecca. Allah has to make a way out for you from your hardship.
And so the process Salam.
He said the same words to a blessing. He said,
Go back, be patient.
Allah subhanahu wa Tada will make a way out for you.
Allah will make a way out for you from your difficult situation. So,

Right? You've done your part.
Now

I managed to escape from them.
So
let me now stay.
In the version of
the story is mentioned in various books of Hadith including Sahara Buhari.
In the version of Sahara Buhari Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said to him,

And he managed to survive on these dates for three days.
But then, what's he going to do after that?
It's mentioned in some of the reasons that ALLAH SubhanA wa winter provided for him.

And so he would then eat these fish. And that's what he survived on.
Now,

He's not under my authority. He's acting on his own.
And so now Quraysh

These are begging him
and even calling by the ties of relationship between him and then

those terms of the agreement
to change the terms of the agreement, what were those terms? One of them was that if
a Muslim leaves Mecca to Medina to stay in Medina, he has to be sent back. So now they're saying, Let's cancel that,

he called an audible buzzer
and his man so he sent a letter.
And
the letter arrived,
when Oba three was, basically, in his last moments, he was passing away.
And so he had the letter and you read it.
And he died with the letter in his head.
As with the others, agenda, and the others, and they were about 60 to 70 men from from Mecca,
they ended up going to Medina,
and they are now reunited with the Muslims.
And this was the very promise of Rasulullah he sallallahu alayhi wa sallam that was now being fulfilled.
He had promised them what He had promised that Allah would make a way out for them
from their ordeal from their hardship.
And it hasn't even been a year.
And because they come complied with the orders of Rasulullah, sallallahu alayhi wasallam.
Because of that, Allah didn't make a wait for them.
It'll look at how things turned for Quraysh turned against them.
And their plans and their wishes, they had thought
that they had the upper hand
through this treaty.
So this was the fate of
some of the Muslims who managed to escape
from

the terms of their agreement was
that whoever leaves from Mecca
to join Muhammad Sallallahu wasallam. The Muslims have to hand them back.
And so even though women are weaker,
and they're being held behind their will,
by their guardians, etc.
Even then,
there were Muslim women
who
took that journey, and they escaped they managed to flee and they managed to make it to Medina.
And so when they arrived Rasulullah sallallahu also didn't know what to do.
You know, he has an agreement with these people.
So Allah subhanho wa Taala

a good reason to give Quraysh for not handing over in his women. And that is what

It was mentioned in the masculine form.
So the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam might have used that to say
that what we had agreed on is men, not just anyone.
And Allah knows best. And so these were the events that took place on the way back to Medina from a good idea and the events that took place right after
the Treaty that were linked to the treaty. And without we come to the end of this chapter of the Sierra Nevada solar ye sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.
So we'll quickly go over some of the lessons that we learned from
from the story is mentioned tonight.
Before we conclude
so the first lesson that we learned
is that there is good in everything that ALLAH SubhanA wa Tada decrees

The second lesson that we learned

of hardship for those who fear Him,
for those who obey Him. So we see in a story of Obasi

and how Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam promised both of them, that Allah will make a week out for you.
So they complied by the orders of rasool Allah is an alumna himself and
as a result, Allah made and we hope for them.

Whoever fears Allah, Allah makes a week out for him.

The third lesson that we learned
is the importance of honoring agreements and treaties.
We see how Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam upheld the terms of the treaty, even when it went against the interests of the Muslims
teaching us
that Islam requires us to uphold any agreement that we enter into.
And not to go there not to go decent, even if there is harm in it. For us.

Finally, the last point that we'll mention,
what is the ruling on having peace treaties with the enemies in the first place?
It's all the scholars they take from the story of a good idea that Islam
allows us to enter into peace treaties with the enemy.
They also mentioned how these peace treaties
could be entered into
where we have to compromise on some of our demands,
as long as there is a greeter good enough for the Muslims.
And we see that in the story of who they be. And so, they mentioned this as proof.
However, they mentioned that these treaties
must be for a certain term
for a certain time period, and they cannot be open ended
or permanent peace treaties.
This is because the default relationship between the Muslims and others is what
it is one of jihad
and not one of peace.
The apostle or the default relationship between the Muslims and the fall is one of jihad. You know, this was set not by us, it was set by the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam 1400 years ago
by Allah subhanho wa taala.
So that is the default relationship that we have with the Quran. So that means that if we enter into any kind of peace treaty with them,
it has to be a temporary peace treaty and not a permanent one. In fact,
imams a shared theory and recommended 100 They were of the view that
these treaties could not last more than 10 years. Like that is the maximum.
And they base that on the story of her Davian. So the peace treaty of Davia
