The agreement hasn't been finalized.

The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said to him, Oh, be gentle, be patient and endure your situation for the sake of Allah. Allah will certainly make for you and those suffering with you a way out from your hardship.

the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was telling him that we have made this peace agreement with these people.
Giving them a pledge by Allah to be faithful to the terms of the agreement, and we shall not violate our pledge
and we Muslims don't
back down on our word, even if it's against us.
And so in the end Quraysh they took up agenda away
when they were dragging him away.
Mohammed had been called Bob again.
He comes on the scene
and
As he moves towards Abu Jandal
and
he pushes the handle of his sword towards him,
indicating telling him to take it
and to kill his father.

But this was the only time

he did not consult the companions. If he had,
there would have been bloodshed.

he tells his companions to start packing up, we're heading back home. And he orders them to cancel their state of Iran.

he has to either perform his camera or hedge. And then once you're done, you've cut your hair, you slaughter your animal, and you are out of the State of Iran.
But if you aren't able to perform your hunger, for whatever reason,
you can't just go back home like that, you have to get out of the State of Iran is known as a download.
And you do that by shaving your head or cutting your hair and slaughtering your animal. So the Prophet sallallahu, he was sort of turned to the Companions and says,
shave your heads and slaughter your animals.

Again, no one moved

Once again.
Not a single one of them got up.
Then finally
he goes back to his tent.
And he's upset. He's angry.
And he tells his wife

They are destroying themselves

He said to her, I have given them an order and they have disobeyed.

that there is no way that we are going to complete our camera.
And so some of them thought maybe
there's a glimpse of hope maybe
Allah will change the command.
Let's wait. Let's see what happens. But now that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam has done it, that's it shattered their hopes. And now
they all got up, they shave their heads, they slaughter their animals. And they did as they were told. So you could imagine the sad and depressed state that they were.
And so
this is where the events of the Treaty of Hood idea come to an end.

the aftermath of

So before we conclude, let's go through some of the lessons that we learned from tonight. The first lesson that we learn
is the status of those who give their BI
they have to read one.
Allah subhana who had to edit tells us that these 1400 companions bird the pleasure of Allah for giving their obedience to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam
locka Giraldi Allah who I mean Nina is Yuda, you ruined the SHA.
Allah has become pleased
with those who gave their Obeah to you, oh Muhammad under the tree.
And we mentioned how the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said afterwards to them, You are the best people on the face of
the earth.
And in another narration, all of those who have pledged their allegiance have had their sins forgiven for now.
In a third narration, it says no one from those who gave their pledge under the tree will enter the Hellfire by the permission of Allah.
So without a doubt,
their status among all of the companions is very high.
And that's why when the scholars they divide
the different ranks of the companions in terms of their groups, not in terms of individuals,
in terms of individuals we know and workload and then aroma, etc. But in terms of groups, they usually mentioned the first group are
at a better
album reunion, those who fought in the battle data.
And then they mentioned the second group as being
us Harbor shujaa.
The people who gave their pledge by children one
The second
lesson is
that the Shia, they claim that rumor, a Dallas man had been our firm do not give his base
on this occasion, and this is one of the points that they used to try to
attack Earth man radula one. And so there are two main
accusations that they levied against Earth man. One is that he missed out on
the battle of burden.
And
we mentioned
then, when we cover the story of the Battle better, that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam gave Earth man instructions to stay back.
Because his wife, who was the daughter of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was extremely ill.
So the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam told him to stay back to look after.
In fact, as soon as the Muslims returned, after that battle, she passed away.
So this is regarding the Battle of the Battle of Belgium, they accused him of not having participated.
The second accusation is him not having given his visa
on this occasion, and
to respond to this, we say that in reality, if you think about it,
it's quite a foolish accusation.
Because what was the whole they are for?
Why did the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam call the companions to give him their pledges? He was overthrown.
It was all over man radula, who had
that there was this rumor that he was killed.
And secondly,
secondly, written out on the lot where he did give his pledge.
The Prophet sallallahu wasallam, when he was taking everyone's hands, and he was taking their
pledges,
he took his right hand and he put it in his left hand. And he said, This is for us, man.
This one is for rich man. And so the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam gave his pledge on his behalf.
And if you think about it,
that is even better.
Because the hand of Rasulullah sallallahu himself is far better than the handle.
The third lesson,
the ruling on handing over a Muslim to the enemy.
Someone may use the story of agenda to say that it is permissible to hand over Muslims to the enemy.
When the enemy comes and asks for
a Muslim, and they say, We want him we want you to extradite him.
So what is the ruling of this?
It's not permissible.
However, in the case of Abu Jandal, we have to put his case into perspective.
And so Rasul Allah, he's sort of longer he was sort of only did it because he had a promise from Allah, that Allah will make a way out for them.
He told him, go back
and be patient.
And trust me, Allah will make a way out for you.
It was a promise from Allah.
That's exactly what ended up happening.
And we're talking about this next week.
How Abu Jandal along with several other of the Muslims from Makkah were able to escape
soon after this event.
We also see from the reaction of the companions that
this
incident of handing over agenda was extremely difficult for them.
For them to see one of their own, taken by the enemy in front of their own eyes, was disastrous. It was extremely difficult for them with some stuff
swallow.
So the default ruling is that it is not permissible to hand over a Muslim to the enemy
when you know he's going to be
tortured or persecuted or imprisoned etc. because it goes against the basic,
the basics of Allah Allah.
This loyalty that we Muslims have to have for our fellow
Muslims. The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam says,
and Muslim, Muslim, la el de Lima, who Allah
use Lemo.
The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam says that the Muslim is a brother of every Muslim, he neither or presses him, nor does he hand over him, to someone who will present.
Finally, one last lesson that will mention here.
How do we interpret the inaction of the companions to the orders of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam when they refuse to comply with his orders,
he told them shave your heads, slaughter your animals
worthy being
disobedient
and stubborn.
Because they were following their desires, like Al Kitab,
whenever they were given orders, what would they say? Send me I know also, you know,
we hear but we disobey.
And so the answer is no.
And that's why the Scholars they say,
the reason why
the Sahaba were hesitant,
and why they didn't immediately rush to comply with the orders of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam is, as we mentioned, they were waiting
in hope for the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam to receive some rare revelation that would somehow change the situation at hand. And maybe there is a glimpse of hope
that we might be able to enter Mecca.
And so this shows you how eager they were to see the kava and to complete their Ramadan.
So what this proves
is that this was the reason for them not complying with the orders of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam.
And what proves that this is the reason is that in the end,
when the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam did it himself.
they complied.
In the end, they complied. Why? Because when they saw him doing it, they realized, as we mentioned, they realize that
that's it.
We are definitely not going into Mecca.
You know, their hopes were shattered now.
They knew that, you know, there's no going back.
There's no way for us to enter Mecca.
We are definitely going back to Medina. And there won't be any change in the decision of all.
