Welcome to another episode of heart therapy. In the last several episodes, we have been looking at different actions of the heart actions that are related to the heart.
And in the last episode, we had a look at
the action of a tawakkol or putting your trust in Allah subhanahu wa to Allah.
In this episode, we want to move on to another action of the heart that is connected to a tawakkol
and it actually leads from a tawakkol to this action, and that is the action known as a river or satisfaction. And so a person who is
and so a person who has put his trust in Allah subhanho wa Taala, he has completed his tawakkol it leads to the next station and that is the station of a river he becomes satisfied with what Allah subhanahu wa tada has given to him.
Now, a real law, or this kind of satisfaction, or pleasure, or approval, is basically defined as the heart, being at peace with its creator, and being pleased with what Allah has decided for the individual. So the heart is at peace, it is content, it is satisfied with a loss of Hannah who with data, and also at peace, and content and pleased with what Allah subhanho wa Taala has decided for you.
And so being well pleased with Allah subhanho wa Taala means to be content with what Allah subhana wa Taala has given to you, and to be contempt also, with the fate that Allah subhanho wa Taala has decided for you. And this is unconditionally, there should be no conditions attached. You have this pleasure, this satisfaction in your heart
of what Allah has given you, and of the Kava and the culture of Allah unconditionally, you have this feeling in your heart. And it also means to encounter no resistance within yourself to encounter no resistance within yourself from that pleasure and that satisfaction. So although
there may be times when Allah has tested you with a calamity,
and you may not see the good that is in that right away. You may not realize it at that very moment. But whether you realize it or not, you are satisfied with it, because Allah has chosen it for you. And so this shows us that a river or this level of satisfaction is something exclusive to a select group of the believers that not everyone is able to attain it. And that's why Abraham he mentioned that those who are afflicted with calamities.
They're dealing of that calamity, how they deal with that calamity. difference. Not everyone is the same. And so you have one group who are impatient. And then you have another group who are patient, but they are only patient and then you have another group after that, who are satisfied. They have patients
And they are satisfied with what Allah has decreed for them.
Moreover, we can say that a river or this satisfaction, it revolves around four things.
Number one, being satisfied with Allah rubia being satisfied with the qualities of Laura's lordship, and so the Ruby of Allah is that He is the Lord, He is the Creator, he is the Sustainer, he is the one who provides and so on and so forth. And also among the qualities of a rubia is that Allah is the one who plans everything, he is the one who disposes of the affairs of mankind. And so you are satisfied with a lot of clutter and his planning, as well as a talker. The second thing that revolve revolves around
is to be satisfied with a laws EU here to be satisfied with the EU here of a law, the EU here of a law is basically
the worship of Allah subhanho wa Taala that you believe that Allah alone deserves to be worshipped. And so you are satisfied with a loss love alone, because love is a worship that only Allah deserves, you are satisfied with putting your hope in Allah subhanho wa Taala.
And that is because hope is also
a quality of audio here. It is an act of worship, and you are satisfied with Allah. And you are satisfied with your sincerity, your applause towards Allah alone. These are all qualities that are supposed to be for a lot alone. And so they come under the UI of Allah Subhana what
the third thing that ribat revolves around, is being satisfied with the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam them, being satisfied with him as the Messenger of Allah and submitting to him submitting to him. So being satisfied that he is the messenger that Allah has sent to you.
And so you are satisfied with that. And you submit to it, as Allah subhanho wa Taala said,

Allah says, But no, by your Lord, they will not truly believe until they make you Oh, Mohammed, the judge concerning that over which they dispute among one another. So it does not mean only
to refer to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam as the judge, but after he has judged, to then accept His judgment, to be satisfied with it, to not find any discomfort in our hearts. And this goes with regards to when the process was alive, he would be the judge between their disputes as for after his death, than he is the judge in all of our affairs. So when we dispute about something, is this permissible? Or is this not permissible? Should we do this thing in this way? Or should we do it in that way? If it is something that comes under the realm of the Sharia, then who do we refer to? We refer to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam as the judge between us. And so he is our
judge, and whatever he has decided, whatever he has mentioned to us, whatever he has commanded us with whatever he has prohibited us from, we should take it in, absorb it, without any discomfort in our hearts. When we do that, we then achieve this rebar, the status dissatisfaction with Mohammed sallallahu alayhi wa sallam as the Messenger of Allah and we have submitted to him.
thing that revoir revolves around is to become satisfied with the religion of Allah subhanho wa Taala to be satisfied with the laws of religion that he has sent us and to submit to it.
And so Allah subhanho wa Taala told us that he is satisfied with Islam as our religion. So why should we not be satisfied with it? Allah subhanho wa Taala says, and Yama recommended to Allah convener, what it meant to Allah equanimity, what are we to locomole Islam Medina, this day, I have perfected for you your religion, and completed my favorite upon you. And I have approved Islam as your religion, I have become satisfied with Islam as being the religion the way of life for you.
Now, these four things that I mentioned, are all mentioned, when the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, he has truly tasted a man, the one who is content, who is satisfied with a lot as his Lord, with Islam as his religion, and with Mohammed as his prophet, and messenger. So as for the first two rubia, and guru here, this comes under one category, as the profitable Scylla mentioned here, and that is being satisfied with a loss of Hannah who were to add, as our Lord.
And so, this is basically what reward or satisfaction revolves around. And this is what we must try to attain. This is what we must strive to achieve in our hearts, the river for a loss of Hannah who with data, and for His Messenger, sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and for Islam, if these three things exist in our hearts, the satisfaction for these things, for these three, then we say that you are at content and at peace. And you will see the reward of that in this life before the next.

Assalamu alaykum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh welcome back to this episode of heart therapy. In this episode, we have been looking at one of the actions related to the heart that we are required to have and that is the satisfaction of Allah subhanho wa Taala being pleased with Allah being satisfied with Allah subhanho wa Taala also being satisfied with Islam as our religion, being satisfied with Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam as the Messenger of Allah.
Now, besides that, we can say that
being satisfied in Allah subhanho wa Taala, having a river with Allah is of three levels. The first level is being satisfied with a lot as your Lord, being satisfied with Allah as your Lord. And most human beings, they recognize that and so they recognize that Allah subhanahu wa tada is the one who created them is the one who provides for them is the one who controls this universe. But the disbelievers and those who associate partners with a lot, they create idols and other objects of worship. And they direct their worship to other than Allah, while recognizing that Allah subhanho wa Taala alone is their Lord.
And many of them are pleased with a lot as their Lord. So the first level is to be pleased with Allah subhanho wa Taala as your Lord.
So as for the believers, they move on to the next step and they believe or they are satisfied with Allah in worshiping Him alone, being satisfied
FIDE with the fact that they believe that Allah alone deserves to be worshipped and so they direct their worship to him a lot. The second level of a river in Allah is to be satisfied with what Allah has planned for you, what Allah has decreed for you. And so, whenever you may be hit with a calamity,
you are patient, you understand that this is from Allah and you are satisfied with what Allah has planned for you. The third level of robot in Allah subhanho wa Taala or being satisfied with Allah is the highest level that is the most difficult to achieve and that is being satisfied with Allah satisfaction for you. What does that mean? It means that you realize that a lot is pleased with you, and you are pleased with Allah. And this is something that Allah subhanho wa Taala has mentioned of his believing slaves in various places in the Quran, Allah subhanahu wa tada has mentioned it
and so Allah subhanho wa Taala says

And so, Allah says, and he knew what was in their hearts, and so he sent down tranquility upon them, and rewarded them with an imminent victory. And so this was regarding the same companions, who a lot earlier told us about them, that Allah was pleased with them, and they were pleased with Allah subhanho wa Taala.
Besides that, we also have the knifes the soul which is at peace, as Allah subhanho wa Taala says, Yeah, a year 200 Sumatra in

So the question is, what causes these believers to attain this high station? The Secret you'll find that is common among all of them is that they sold their lives for Allah subhanho wa Taala. In exchange for that satisfaction.
They sold their lives in exchange for that river for that pleasure from Allah Subhana who went ahead and so Allah subhanho wa

Why does he sell himself because he wants to attain the pleasure of Allah the approval of Allah, the satisfaction of Allah Subhana who went ahead, and awasum Hannah, who also tells us of the believers in the law, his daughter, Amina, Mina and fusa. home. What Amala home the normal Jenna indeed a law has purchased from the believers, their lives and their wealth, their properties, in exchange for what? In exchange that they will have paradise and who enters paradise. Those who Allah subhanho wa Taala is pleased with how did they sell their lives? And in the Quran, meaning it's nothing new. This legislation of Allah subhanahu wa tada that, if you give me your life, I will give you my pleasure. This is something that was promised by Allah subhanho wa Taala for everyone who obeyed their messengers. And then Allah subhanho wa Taala says, woman over bi d mean Allah, and who is more truer, more truthful in his covenant other than Allah
who fulfills his promise
more than Allah subhanho wa Taala does the answer is obviously no one for establish you will be by a commodity by today. So rejoice in your transaction that you have contracted with Allah
with alika who will follow the law with him and that is the great achievement, the great attainment. And so this is how you achieve the river or the satisfaction of Allah subhanahu wa tada bye sacrificing your life for Allah subhanho wa Taala in whatever way it may be, which has been legislated in Islam. We sacrifice our lives and we sacrifice our wealth and we sacrifice our time and we sacrifice everything for the sake of Allah subhanho wa Taala in order to attain that satisfaction of Allah subhanho wa Taala.
Finally, there are many fruits, there are many fruits of a river, of the satisfaction that one has either for Allah subhanho wa Taala or in what Allah has decreed. And so among these fruits, is firstly, that one attains the satisfaction of Allah subhanho wa Taala by being satisfied with our endless we just spoke about right now. And so, this is the greatest fruit of having a river in Allah subhanho wa Taala that Allah subhanho wa Taala in turn, ends up being pleased with you, Sal, even abou Sahel, Al Hanafi, one of the great scholars of the past, he says, if people satisfaction is something to is something that is difficult to attain. If the satisfaction of the people is
something that is difficult to achieve, then the satisfaction of Allah is easy to achieve, and the pursuit of it should not be abandoned. Indeed, we need true brothers in times of hardship.
The second fruit that we gain from having satisfaction in Allah subhanho wa Taala
is that through our satisfaction of Allah subhanho wa Taala
we attain the satisfaction of people.
And so, acceptance for a person. It comes from where it comes from above, down to earth, not the other way around. And so satisfaction of people doesn't go from here up to Allah rather
When he is pleased with someone, when Allah is pleased with someone, he sends down
the satisfaction of the people for that person. And so, a person who is accepted by Allah, and a lot has accepted his satisfaction, and a lot is pleased with him. Allah subhanho wa Taala causes all the people on earth to be pleased with that individual. So please the Creator, and the creation will end up being pleased with you. Finally, among the fruits that we gain from our satisfaction in the decrees of Allah subhanho wa Taala
is a contented personality. A person who is satisfied with what Allah has decreed for him, he ends up having a contended personality. And so, knowledge that whatever wealth is gathered, was already written for you. This gives you this basically gives you a sense of contentment.
That when you strive to achieve a lot of wealth and you're not able to, then you're content, you're happy at what Allah has given you. There are many people out there in the world who are not content, they're not happy, they want more and more. They're not satisfied that this is what Allah has written for them. And so you find they have an unstable personality. They don't have that content, personality that Allah subhana wa Taala gives to those who are pleased with what he has decreed for them.
With that, we come to the end of this episode, I ask Allah subhanho wa Taala to place in our hearts contentment of him, satisfaction of him and asked Allah subhanho wa Taala to be pleased with each and every single one of us, who are pleased with him.
