schedules must be so busy right now. I guess you guys are leaving tomorrow or the day after. So ours we were supposed to leave tomorrow. However our stuff is still pending with with Elif were approved. We selected a package. But then we got kicked out and now we're just waiting. So

a lot of people though, are leaving tomorrow. A lot of them are leaving tomorrow. Some are leaving on Thursday. So yeah, the matawa stuff is quite hectic. Yeah, I think this will give a lot of ease to people that

are going inshallah.

Inshallah.

Inshallah, maybe we'll just start and then hopefully people can trickle in as time goes, and we can cover some of the important aspects.

I was hoping to get people's questions during this but clear inshallah. The smaller models will allow you either early or even whenever the salary was really determined, you sign up for vote Foley? And how about we'll go over, you know, try to do as concisely as possible the rituals of Hajj

So, of course, how do we know is so important in our deen and it is the last of the pillars of Islam that Allah subhanaw taala made obligatory upon us and sent upon us, and many of the scholars, they say that hajj is the best thing a Muslim can do. The best, holiest, most rewarding thing any Muslim can do is hedge. And the most rewarding thing any non Muslim can do is become a Muslim. Right? So this is how the scholars saw it. And of course, we know that hadith of our Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam where he says, they said that witches has no reward except for Paradise. And this is something the prophet does not save anything else, except the except that had to have Jim abroad had

And it may make you go crazy. And I've seen that with other people literally just not know what to do in the moment, and there's so much confusion. So choose someone and go with what they say. If I have questions, I'm gonna ask them my questions,

and figure that out from now. So that you got to kind of give yourself relief. Instead, you're gonna hear one person is telling you this, and the other person is telling you that and this person is telling you to do this, and you're just going to be in a world of confusion.

So, you know, it's important to realize, as we enter into this hedge, that you are also responding to the call of Prophet Ibrahim alayhis salam, when you call people towards Hajj, and you're literally following the footsteps of the prophets. Not just Is this a community of other Muslims, you're finding Muslims from every corner of the world come together. But in reality, you are following the footsteps of the prophets, Prophet Ibrahim Prophet Muhammad, Ali mussalam, but also other Prophets when only a hadith. Prophet Yunus came for Hajj prophets and working for Hajj, and other prophets as well. So alhamdulillah you know, you're you're there, as you're going through

these rituals, you need to be reminding yourself, I'm walking in the footsteps of the prophets. I'm literally in the footsteps, the prophets and the righteous people and the companions, and all the scholars of the SNAM Imam Muhammad had more than 40 times, you're walking their footsteps and Hamdulillah. And so that's something to keep in mind and to always think about, as you're going through these rituals of hedge.

There are three types of hedge and you've probably heard of this from other people, we'll go over it a bit quickly. There is hedge fraud. If fraud literally means singular. And what this means is that you're just doing hedge, there's no camera, you're just coming for hedge. Who does this kind of hedge a fraud? You know, if you're in a hurry, basically, sometimes the Sahaba would do this. They're in a hurry. They had to go somewhere else. There was a battle they needed to fight. So they would come to hedge like just on the day of autofocus.

And so there is a period of tomato and this period of pleasure or of delight that happens in the middle, the prophet would tell the companions to do Hajj timeto. And

this is why we say even though the Prophet did Hajj, Iran, it is sunnah to do Hajj, Timothy, because that's what he verbally instructed the companions to do. And inshallah it's a lot easier for all of you to be able to do Hajj to mentor, you delight in your hedge in sha Allah.

So the first step of hedge is wrong. And if you've done a homerun, of course, you're familiar with this, but I will go through this a little bit quickly.

It's important to understand,

you know, what is hedged to begin with hedge is you're doing sacred rituals, right? You're doing these sacred rituals to love Saturday, throwing the gym, right? Standing, and

then you're in a sacred place. Right? And you're doing it in a sacred time. But you are also in a sacred state. Right. So you are sacred, the time is sacred, the place is sacred, and the rituals are sacred as well. And this is what makes Hutch right. So you have to enter into the sacred state and a haram is a state and it's a declaration. It's an intention, it's an intent to enter into a sacred space. It's not necessarily the clothing you're wearing. I know we call the clothing. In Iran, we refer to the clothing as being the clothing of Iran, but it is in reality, you know, as sacred

it's really a secret intent in the sacred state that you're entering into.

So let's say you're leaving insha Allah Toronto, or you're leaving Canada or you live in America, and you're going if you're going first for Umrah,

if you're going first straight to Mecca, if that's your destination, you're going to Mecca. Then as you're landing in Jeddah, let's say you're landing in Jeddah,

you're going to enter into your home on the airplane, because the main plot is before Jeddah before landing in the jet the airport. So that means for men, if you're going on the airplane, you have to be wearing your haram

like at some point on the airplane on the flight, so maybe before the flight maybe you have a stopover in Dubai or something like that, where it's probably best then to wear your prom in the airport. If you are on a longer flight, then during the flight it must be in your handbag you should have your prom for the men go to the washroom and wear it during the flight about 30 minutes before landing and jet that you will pass them in court. What are the prohibitions during the State of haram? These are the things we're not supposed to be doing. So cutting or shaving your hair. Now, we should be clear, sometimes people make things very difficult for themselves. Right? So the person like runs their hand through their hair, and then all of a sudden there's hair on their hand, and they say, oh my god, did I shave? Cut my hair that I shaved my hair that I break my forearm? No, you did not. Right. What this means is intentionally cutting or shaving your hair. Right intentionally cutting your shaving your hair. Now you've broken your head on

perfuming oneself, right? So wearing things that would perfume you now the question here that arises is

the question here that arises about performing oneself is can I use soap or things like that have the natural perfume.

Now obviously, there's difference of opinion on this My opinion is actually it doesn't matter even if the soap has perfume, but it's better for you. safer for you and Sharla to use soap that is unscented, just to remove you know any possible doubt. However, what's meant by perfuming yourself is intentionally perfuming yourself, putting in a perfume, putting cologne putting something like that I did or something like that. Covering the head for men, men are not allowed to wear a hat or something like that. Now can you put something for shade can you have an umbrella for shade, you can have an umbrella for shade, no problem but you can cover your head. You can't wear a coffee or

something like this, you can't cover your head.

For women there is no physical it haram except for them not to cover their face or their hands. And even this it means nothing that is sewn to your face or hands. So in a club that is shaped to the face or gloves for the hands, it's not permissible. But if a woman had longer sleeves and her sleeves came over her head, that would be permissible wouldn't be a problem Shahla. Seeking or proposing marriage is not permissible. being romantic or intimate with one spouse. This is a major sin. This is the biggest problem that could happen. than that, you know, nothing can be crafted, fitted to our limbs tailored to our limbs, no tailored clothing. So this is why the ROM is just a sheet because it's not tailored for our limbs, right. And so that's how we wear our ROM and that goes for our feet as well. But for footwear,

So the real hedge is being able to force yourself to be spiritual, despite everything pulling you away. This date of alpha is valuable. This is the day of all of the prophets of Allah who sent him by the way in Arafa. He prayed vote in us, shortened and combined. In Mina, he shorten the prayers, they'll have to hustle. The time there is short. It feels like a long time when you get there.

You're tired I got I got all day to pray. You don't. Right now today when I sit down I think about the days I was there. I wish I was there again. I

Wish I spent more time I wish I was more efficient. I wish I made more dua. Right? This is the time. This is the time where Allah accepts your door more than any other time. In the life of a Muslim, the best dua is the dua of Hajj, and the best dua is the dua of autofab. Right? This is the pinnacle of dua. So please spend the whole day making dua to Allah subhanaw taala. Don't let yourself get distracted. The prophets of Allah Islam said she is not more angry, or more enraged on any day than the day of autofac because he sees the blessings of Allah and the forgiveness of Allah, the Mercy of Allah. number one. Number two, it takes a lot of time and effort to walk to it and then walk back to your tent, you might get lost. And that's the reasons I don't typically recommend it.

You know, rather than waste our energy and waste our time, let's spend all of our time making dua without going to Namira if we don't have to. So if you're if someone in your temps is able to give the hutzpah that's a preferable option, in my opinion.

Okay, the 10th of Dhul Hijjah

sacrificing in huge factories, tons of animals, you just assume that yours hasn't been done? You're never going to know when particularly specifically your animal has been slaughtered? You're never going to know that. You just assume that it's been done. Where can we buy by the voters in question, I believe you can buy it at a at a bank there. So if you've got any bank like Bank coverage, or something like that, ask them Can we buy vouchers for for sacrificing they should allow you to do so it might be expensive, about $400 or $500 or something like that. Typically, we do like in the past, we would include that as part of your package. I don't know today if it's included with the Saudi

package or not. So we have these four things right there one of the jemalloc sacrificing the animal shaving or cutting your hair. And too often if our if you do too out of the form, it takes you out of minor from what is minor and what I mean? It means you can wear clothes, instead of the prom, you can wear perfume.

Okay, the sacrifice is included. Okay, does that clock here, so I wasn't sure about that. If the sacrifice included no problem, then you assume you're done on the tent of the kitchen. So if we assume the sacrifice has been done, we've done one out of the four, what's left for us through the gym mirage or shaving, cutting your hair off before you can technically shave and cut your hair, I assume your sacrifice has been done. Now you can come out of your front. Right? And by the way I prefer walking from was deliver to the gym or to Mina, rather than taking the bus because that day the bus is crazy. And people are going crazy punching pushing each other to get on the buses. And it's actually faster to walk. If you're in shape. If you're younger, if you can walk an hour, if you can do an hour walk no problem than just walk it walk from was delivered to the gym, it's gonna take you an hour an hour and a half. Right? So it depends when we say the distance.

So minutes are autofill you don't need to do they're going to drive you there and it's not going to be a problem Autofit to mostly fat, it's I just don't recommend that you can get lost. That's my only recommendation so I recommend you take the bus was Daddy for two minute probably 3040 minutes, minutes to the gym Alright, so Gemert is technically in minutes just at the very end of minutes. fall on the tents. Right? There's no rule that says I have to do that. And I can wait towards the leader and after melted people, the crowd is starting to die out a little bit. Then I'll go towards Maccha I'll do my pull off of the Father and I'll do my say

given that relatively small number of people attending this year is likely going to be like last year transportations offered on the weekends. It could be in if you find the buses are running smoothly and things like that, no problem, take the buses, if you find that things are going smoothly, go ahead and do that. And that way you can always walk towards it. I found that to be very, you know, a very strong you know, useful thing for me to do. Drop my pin in Mina and my tents and Mina. That way if I need to walk back to it, it's very easy to walk back to it.

the 11th to 13th between Mina and the Hudson if you have a hotel, is there usually transportation available to change into shower

So I don't think there'll be transportation available. But you can take a taxi or an Uber, you can actually download Uber and use that. And it's a lot better than the taxi because it tells you how much it gives you the price in advance so that you don't have to haggle with anybody, I recommend Uber, there's another app called Kareem as well, which is basically Uber as well you can use that as well.

Between minutes so you can use that to get around on the 10th is just usually crazy. Now like the brother said, there's less people there's only 60% of the regular crowd this year. So

you know, maybe there's not going to be that much traffic maybe you can get around even on the 10th Allah Allah Allah, but 11th to 13th Shouldn't be a problem. You can take a taxi, you can tell I'm taking you to the gym or not, you will take you right to the gym, right you can walk from there to your attention minute.
