Explanation of Surah Al-Anbiyaa verse 51 until the end of Surah Al-Hajj

verse number 51 of sort of MBM
Allah subhana wa tada as we discussed yesterday, you know, this sort of the sort of the prophets and a lot goes into talking about what the prophets of the past had called towards some of the things that happened to them and, you know, a general sort of stance with regards to the lives of the prophets and messengers of Allah subhanho wa Taala to add
in verses 51 to 70 Allah subhanho wa Taala transitions now into again, discussing some of the prophets in particular so Ibrahim Allah has sent and then it goes on into new organ Deadwood and Solomon and au Ismail Idris little careful Eunice Zakaria yahia, Isa and his mother, his mother ammonium, Allah has sent him all of this goes right up until the end of the quarter. And then at the very end, Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam is addressed. So we'll start with verses 51 to 70. And here Allah subhana wa tada is talking about Prophet Ibrahim Allah His setup, and how Ibrahim Allah has said
he he's in his childhood, and the people who were obviously worshipping the idols of his of his town, his city where they lived in where they resided, they decided to go out for a celebration so they went out of the city and they put all of their idols inside a Moscow dark like a place of kind of like a warehouse a place where they could just keep all the idols while they're gone and away from the city. So use of it his sorry Ibrahim Allah has sent him he was asked to go about go with them. And he said in nice, clean, right he said in nice Sabine and sick. Now here, this is an example of how Ibrahim Allah has sent him wasn't actually sick as in he needed some tissues to blow

I'm not happy with this. So that was his way of letting them know that he didn't want to go along and forth, or take part in the celebration that they were taking part in. Then when they actually went out now of us handling data shows us in the story, how Ibrahim Allah has sent him
he decides to break these idols. And Allah Subhana Allah mentions how he breaks these idols. So he goes into that area where all the idols were, and he takes with him an axe and he starts to break and knock over the idols and, you know, destroy the idols that were there and they're nothing but stone, right? It's nothing but stone that his own father had carved. And so Allah subhanho wa Taala shows us how Ibrahim Annie has set them. When he breaks these idols. He takes that axe and he puts an axe you know, leans it up against the biggest of the idols that were there. Then the people returned from their celebration. upon return in Rahim, Allah has sent him isn't there, right? He's
not there. But they noticed that their idols were broken. And so they say, you know, when they ask each other who did this who could be responsible for this thing? What happened? So Ibrahima sorry, the people they say, we heard, it was a boy who goes by the name of Ibrahim, right? We heard it was a boy who goes by the name of Ibrahim. Now why would they say this? Why would they? Why would they go around or beat around the bush? Why don't they just directly say it was about him? And he sent out that did so? Does anyone know?
Because his dad was
his dad was the one that made the idols therefore he was known. He was well known, right. And his father was someone of status as well within the
within the society.
And so it was as though you were accusing someone of nobility, someone who was well known someone who was famous and that's not something
thing that we commonly do, right? We don't directly accuse someone who's famous, because the consequences if you were wrong would be great. If you were to accuse someone who's just, you know, the average person, no big deal if it was didn't happen, it wasn't the right person. Okay, sorry. Right. But if it was someone big, then the consequences are great. So they said, We we heard it was someone who goes by the name of Ibrahim. Now Ibrahim obviously is known. Everyone knows about him. He's the son of the automaker. Right, but no one wanted to actually point the finger at Ibrahim Ali has set up.
Then in verse number 64, Allah subhanho wa Taala shows us how Ibrahim is summoned, right? He's summoned and they bring they bring him in on him and he has sent them and they question him. They asked him, did you do this? Or do you know who did this to our idols? And he says, Why don't you ask the bigger one? Why don't you ask the bigger Iowa in verse number 63? Carla, Ben, find out who can be wrong.
Why don't you go and ask him the big one is the one that did it. For him. Kevin Rome had a first album in Cannes who young Deacon asked them as these idols this one the big one, if he should speak or if these idols should speak and then why don't you just ask the big one because you know, he's the one that's still there. He's the one that wasn't broken. Ask him if they have the ability to speak. So Ibrahim, Allah has sent him uses that wisdom with them to try and prove to them listen, you don't know what you're talking about. These idols they can't speak. They have no idea what you're saying to them, nor are they capable of responding to you, yet you still worship them.
And so even Rahim, Allah Yes. And I'm shows that to us here as the biggest one, if he's capable of speaking, let him speak. But then the people as Allah subhanho wa Taala shows in the next verse that people admit of their nonsense, they admit that they know it can't speak, right. But they still continue on with their ignorance. Due to their ignorance, they continue to worship those idols. So Allah subhanho wa Taala shows us that in the example of Ibrahim Allah His setup, that even though the idols can't speak, and they know that the idol can't speak, and they they admitted as well, they still continue on with what their traditions had taught them culture. That's exactly what it is, its
culture and its tradition. And so Pamela, you know, there's so many things that we do today in our Deen that are linked in with culture, that we have such a difficult time dropping simply because or not only dropping but implementing in our Deen we actually do that because it's part of the Sunnah. And and we leave off whatever culture had told us or taught us. But yes, we've handled that even though we have lesson upon lesson upon lesson from the people of the past and the profits of the past, we still have a very difficult time in letting go of our own cultural, you know, habits and traits that pull us away sometimes from the dean. And Ibrahim Allah has sent him his story was just
about that. And many of the other prophets were as well.
Then Allah subhanho wa Taala goes on, and mentions how the people decided to burn and burn him out of his sentence. So they built this massive fire.
They build this huge fire. And the reason why they built such a big fire is because they absolutely wanted to get rid of Ibrahim Allah, his center. So they built such a big fire that people from all different parts of the cities and towns would come to add fuel to the fire, whatever they had, they could bring and put into the fire to make it extremely big. But then they realized the fire was so big, they couldn't even approach it themselves. They couldn't get closer to the fire, then they realized we have a dilemma. If we can't add fuel to the fire, because we can't get close to it. How are we going to put Ibrahim alayhis salaam into this fire. So then they decided let's build the
catapult. So they build this massive catapult big enough to put a human being in it. And this catapult is at a distance. So they put it they put it on him Allah has sent him into the catapult and then they eventually launch him in as they launch him into the fire. Because of the heat of the fire. It burns the ropes off of his hands and his legs. And then he's launched into the into the fire. But he's not burnt. Ibrahima. His sentiment is untouched he's, he's not burnt at all. Right so the fire was hot enough to burn the ropes off of the catapult. And then Ibrahim Allah has sent them ends up into the launched into the fire
as he's flying in the air. As he's flying into the fire, the angel Djibouti comes to Ibrahim alayhis salam and asks him, is there anything that you need? Can I help you with anything? And Ibrahim alayhis salam, his response to him now imagine Ibrahim is flying in the air.
Picture yourself literally flying in the air, right? And you're asked by the angel, is there anything I can do for you? You'd be like, yeah, yeah, stop this from happening. Just you know, stop me carry me Take me bring me away Do something. But Ibrahim Allah has sent him he turns to Jupiter into jabril and he tells him he says from you, nothing from you, I don't need anything. But from Allah. Yeah, right. He needs the help of Allah subhana wa Tada. So he tells gibreel alayhis salaam I don't need anything from you. I don't need anything from you. Right But from Allah subhanho wa Taala Yes. And that was the that was that was a test from Allah subhanaw taala and that was the signal for
Allah to then mention to the fire as we see in verse number 69.
Allah subhanho wa Taala says to the fire, when Yun mukuni
Ebola he came to Allah subhanho wa Taala commands the fire to be cool and calm for Ibrahim to make it a place where he could feel comfort. Just like air conditioning today right? air conditioning, sometimes it gets too cold so you put it into the comfort setting where it's just right the temperature that you feel good and you're comfortable. You go outside it's extremely hot and humid you come inside and you're good, right? It's perfect. It's not like a fridge or freezer where you start to freeze. So Allah subhanho wa Taala made the fire nice and cool and calm for Ibrahim Ali has set up
in verses 71 to 74 then Allah subhana wa tada transitions away from the story of Ibrahim right he now mentions that Ibrahim Allah has set out leaves and he leaves with loot Allah has set out he leaves and along with him goes loot Allah His Salah, what is the relationship between Lutheran Ibrahim
nephew right so loot alayhis salam is the nephew of Ibrahim and he has set up so they leave is Allah subhana wa to Allah mentions in verses 71 to 74 and we know that Louisiana has sent them goes off a different way after they leave and employ him goes to a different place as well. So they split up eventually they leave and then they split up.

they were both very wise, they had the ability to judge between you know, scenarios and situations, things that happened, they were educated in that sense, Allah subhanho wa Taala granted them wisdom. And here Allah Subhana Allah shows us an example of the story of the sheep, right? There's many different stories that we get from the life of Solomon in Deadwood, one of the stories that Allah subhana wa tada highlights here is a story of two people who come and complain to Deadwood. Allah has sent him dead wood was the father of Solomon. Right? So Solomon is the son, he's always around his father and he learns how to judge and make a decision between you know, two people or three
people whenever there's an whenever there's a dispute. So these two people come to Dell Buddha, his setup, and they say, one of them says I had 99 sheep, and he had one.
Sorry, we had amongst us 100 sheep, right? They're both, you know, business partners together in this transaction. In fact.
Yeah, I'm just, I'm just trying to make sure I don't because there's another story of Solomon and Deadwood will mention both inshallah. Okay, so one story of Solomon and Deadwood, where there's
there's two two men, two business partners, they come to WWE, his salon and they say, Listen, I have 19 we have 100 sheep amongst us. He He took 99 and his only leaving one with me. And now he wants to take that last one, that last sheep to himself. So they would tell me things, you know, this isn't right. This isn't right. Why Why? Why should you take the last one, you're both business partners. He's going to have 100 cheap This one is going to have none doesn't make sense. So that would nslm jumps to conclusions and he makes a decision. And at that point in time, Allah subhanho wa Taala advises him that he should not be hasty and making a decision. Then in the other story of Deadwood
and Solomon, they there's their
Two people who come and one of them has a pasture and the other one has a sheep. And here Allah subhanaw taala showing us how this man, he lets his sheep eat up all the grass in the pastures of this person. So he comes to Deadwood and complains, the two of them come in, they're complaining This one is saying, Look, he ate up all my crop, everything that I had is gone his sheep, he just let them roam and eat everything that was growing. And so that would Allah has said, um, you know, he's he wants to make a decision here.
What should be done? Right? So he says, you take that land, and he takes the sheep, and that's the end of it. Right? So just swap to swap, right. So they Myrna alayhis salam, he uses a little more wisdom. And he advises his father, he says, Wait a second, why don't we do this? He should take the animals, right, the one who owns the animals gives it to the one who owns the property, the land, and the one who owns the property, lets the one who owns the land, work that land until the grass and the crops and everything grow back. And then once it's back in, restored, he gives the sheet back to the other person, right, he gives them back. And then he takes his land back end continues
to, you know, cultivate his land, and so on and so forth. So that was the advice of download of Solomon, Allah has sent him to his father doubt, in another incident, what happened between Deadwood and Sullivan, to show how the two of them used to work together as father and son, these two work together to try and resolve any dispute. There were two mothers that came, both of them were sisters. Okay, they were mothers, and both sisters. And both of them had recently had children. And they went out into the fields. And while they were in the field, they left their children under the tree beneath a tree to be safe, right? shaded safe. So they went out in the fields to do whatever
they had to do. When they came back, they realize there's only one child, one of them was missing. So they took the child that was there, and they went to download and send a man and they told them, they said, Listen, you know, this is what happened. And there's only one child, both of them were claiming that that child was theirs. They wanted the child, they were claiming that this is my child. One of them is saying this is my child. The other one is saying no, it's my child. Okay, how do you know whose child it is? So that would Allah has sent him he looks at them. And he says, Okay, you know what, you you're older, right? So you you can't really have children anymore, or you might
not have children for much longer. So you take the child, and you you're younger, right? So you can have many more children. There's a lot of time for you to have more children. Just give the child to this sister, let her take care of that child.
Then, so Damon, it has sat down, he's like, Wait a second. Why don't we do this? Right. So he consults with his father. And then they say, okay, so he advises Deadwood. He says, Why don't we take that baby and just cut it in half? This one takes half and that one takes half simple, right?
Okay, fine. So they turned to the sisters, the two mothers and they say, listen, take this baby, we're just going to cut it in half, you take half and you take half since both of you are arguing and complaining that this is your baby, each of you gets half of the baby. Obviously, the baby's gonna die when that happens, right. So the wisdom behind it was immediately when they said that the True Mother of the baby said no, no, no, it's okay. It's okay. Just give it to her give the baby terror give the baby terror. Don't worry, it's okay. Just give the baby to her. And they knew from that, that the one who's saying gives the baby to her is actually the mother of that child. And who
was it? It was the younger one, the one that would Allah His center had said no give the child to the older one, because the older one is going to be able to or won't be able to have children for much longer. All right, so you see the wisdom in dealing with things and that's how I dealt with and Solomon would work together as father and son trying to resolve issues and disputes that happened. So Allah subhanho wa Taala mentioned in the Quran that he gave them wisdom and we know from the Sunnah, as well as the other traditions, some of the stories that happened between them.
Allah subhana wa Jalla mentions he gave them judgment.
And in Deadwood Allah, his salon he used to love to praise Allah subhanho wa Taala in his praising of Allah subhanho wa Taala as he mentioned in the verse, the mountains as well as the birds would engage in praising Allah subhanho wa Taala with him they would take part in the praise of Allah subhanho wa Taala along with a beautiful voice dellwood Allah His Sanam was also given the ability to mold steel with his hands with his bare hands. At one point in time he was holding his staff while he was busy in the remembrance of Allah subhanho wa Taala and he didn't realize that his thumb had pressed right into the steel. So into the the metal the his staff was made out of metal and he
pressed right into it. He basically squeezed it right like Iron Man just squeezed right into it. And so Allah subhana wa tada had given him the ability to mold steel and it
was very easy, very malleable for him. And some kind of law, he used to actually be the king as well as the Prophet. And he would govern the people and look after the people as their king and their Prophet, but he would be someone who never took anything as a person of status, he wouldn't take anything for free, he would actually work for his, for his earning. So that would Allah His senem was very famous, as we said, in molding steel with his hands, and he would actually produce coats of armor, right? So armor, swords, stuff like that, he would produce them and sell them and that was his income, so that would Allah Hassan would work. So the man Allah has sent him
he was given the ability to control the wind. And that is where he's, he's mentioned very highly in the Quran, forgiving the ability to control wind at high speeds, right? So you can control wind. And also so the man Allah has sent me he looked after the other creatures, and he could communicate with them. So you can communicate with the insects with the animals and his animals capable of also communicating with the jinn. Right? So he can speak to them, he could order them and command them to do things. And he would actually do that he would have them as his workers, and they would work for him in the famous story of when Sunday Monday his son passed away, he was leaning against his staff,
while watching his workers, as they were working, he passed away, and they didn't realize that he had passed away. Right, they didn't realize he had passed away because his eyes were still open, and he was still leaning against his staff. And it is said that some insects, and you know, people say termites, because termites tend to eat away from wood. So as he was leaning against his staff, eventually, you know, leaning there, his workers continued to work for however long it was, the termites began to eat at the bottom of his staff. And then he lost his balance, meaning his body that was perfectly in balance, lost balance, and he fell over and then that's when everyone realized
he actually had passed away. And so Allah subhanaw taala shows that as an example to us that the jinn don't know, the matters of the unseen, they don't know.
The reason why they don't know the knowledge of the unseen is because when Deadwood are I mean it's not only because but this is an example, when Deadwood, Allah his Senate passed away, that was the knowledge of the unseen he was already dead, he passed away.
But the jinn didn't know it and they continued to work without knowing that Solomon Allah His Sanam was already dead.
Then we move on to verse number 83, to 84, Allah subhanho wa Taala talks about prophets are you Allah has said them
and mention you, when he called to his Lord, indeed, adversity has touched me and you are the Most Merciful of the Merciful. So we responded to him and removed what afflicted him of adversity. Now you have Allah has sent him he ended up being tested by Allah Subhana Allah through a number of things, he lost his wealth, he lost his, his family, his children all passed away, he lost his properties he lost, every every possible thing that he possessed, then he started to lose his health and that was a test from Allah subhanho wa Taala. Because shavon was telling Allah subhanho wa Taala will make this worshipper of yours become distracted from the from his obedience towards you.
By taking away these things that he enjoys, so he was extremely wealthy, he had many children, and he had you know, a nice family and property and house and so on and so forth. And Stefan took all of these things away, but he continued to worship Allah subhanho wa Taala and be patient. So are you barely Sanam is known as the as the Prophet of Allah subhanho wa Taala who had extreme amounts of patience, and he was so patient to the extent that he lost his wife, his wife got annoyed, and she left and you barely his son and told his wife,
I will not speak to you. Right, I will not speak to you and he actually told her that I will, I will last you 100 lashes, if Allah subhanho wa Taala gave me the ability to do so. Right. But he was weak and extremely, you know, weak. And so when Allah Subhana Allah took his health away, then he remained there and he was all alone. And Allah subhanho wa Taala gave him his health back. We're fast forwarding the story, gave him his health back. And then his wife, she felt sorry that she left him and she came back to Uganda his salon, only to realize that he had regained his health. And Allah subhanho wa Taala had given him his health back, but then he still had to fulfill his oath.
Right? He swore by Allah Subhana Allah he was going to give her 100 lashes. So he went and he took a handful of grass and a handful of grass, right, went outside, grabbed a handful of grass right and went to his wife and started to tickle her
He started to tickle her because he had to fulfill his oath. And he did not want to break an oath that he took. So he fulfilled the oath by lashing her not with a whip or anything that was going to harm her by lashing her with a handful of grass that was very soft, very nice and it doesn't hurt at all. You can hit someone 1000 times with that grass and it's not going to hurt them, right? It's very easy and soft upon the skin.
Then Allah subhana wa tada moves on into verse, verses 85 to 86, with the story of his many Idris and thoroughly careful, which we'll touch upon again, later in sha Allah, Allah but just to point out some of the some of the scholars differ as to whether the kiefel was a prophet of Allah Subhana Allah to Allah, or if he was just a pious, righteous King and judge of the people. And so there's difference of opinion there. Allah subhanho wa Taala knows best he's mentioned here alongside prophets, and so we leave that up to Allah subhanho wa Taala. Either way, it doesn't really change much, okay, it doesn't change much for us. In fact, it doesn't change anything in our Deen with
regards to the fact of whether he is a
a prophet of Allah subhanho wa Taala or not, then we must panatela transitions into the life of Uranus, right Uranus also known as the noon Why is he known as the unknown? What does that mean?
not the whale. The Companion of the whale, okay. The known is the companion of the whale. zoo is like someone's it's like, Zoo animal means someone you know, someone who's constantly busy with their books, reading and possessing knowledge and seeking knowledge and teaching teaching knowledge. There's someone who's viewer and someone who is the companion of knowledge constantly with their knowledge, right? Someone who is rude Jamal is someone who is the companion of and Jamal is beauty right? So extremely good looking that person is the companion of good books, right? They they possess good looks. only buys iPhones and thinks iPhone is the best phone in the world. And they only will buy Mac products and that's the end of it, period. Their life is over. And then
the noon is Eunice Allah His setup, he is the companion of the fish. The big fish noon is a whale of big fish a whale right? And a Lost Planet Allah He says he is Zoo a noon, the Companion of the big fish. Allah Subhana Allah tells us his story in the corner and we'll go over it at a later point in time in sha Allah, but just to quickly go through his story.
Allah subhanho wa Taala mentions that he left his people before the command of Allah had come to him to leave. And then a lot tests him with a number of tests, he go out and he goes, you know, out with the people on the ship. And then you know, they draw lots and he jumps into the water. And then he is swallowed by the whale. And that's where he's known as the unknown, right, as we'll see in the sort of later on. And so he swallowed by the whale, and he's in three layers of darkness. What are those three layers of darkness?
Who can tell us one of them
inside the stomach of the whale, which is dark, then
the darkness of the night great end, at the bottom of the of the ocean or the sea, right? So he's in three layers of darkness. Yet despite being in the middle of the night at the bottom of the sea, and in the within the stomach of the whale. He's still calling out to his Lord, he's still calling out to us accountable to Allah for help and assistance. And that is the neural net. We'll talk about his story later on in sha Allah hotel, Zakaria and yamasa pan. What are the highlights here? What is the relationship between Zachary and yahaya?

Isa and Maryam, Allah has set up.
Now some of you have asked me, Why do we say, Madame la has set up? Was she a prophet of a lot? When we say jabril? Do we say gibreel alayhis salam, does that mean gibreel is a prophet of Allah subhanho wa Taala as well? No, it doesn't gibreel or any of the prophets on the last panel with Allah or anyone that we say Allah has sent him or Allah has sent them is simply a dua, saying, may the peace and mercy of Allah subhanho wa Taala be upon them. So when you say Millennium Allah has set up just because we say Allah has sent them doesn't mean she's a Prophet of the Last panel with Anna. She is the mother of the Prophet and the loss of penalty to Allah praises her in the Quran for
being the mother of Isa Allah has set up in verse number 107. However, Allah subhanho wa Taala then goes into talking about the Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam,
and how he is a mercy to all of the world's wama sonalika El

Yeah, exactly to everything. Mercy, not only to the human beings, but to the jinn, as well. The other creations have a loss of handling to handle the insects, the animals, the plants, the trees, everything that exists. The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was sent as a mercy. Why? Because we see that in his own behavior. He wouldn't harm things when he was walking down the street, he would see something that's harmful, he would move it out of the way. You wouldn't simply go and just pluck things off trees and plants and cut them down for absolutely no reason. He wouldn't harm animals for no reason. He was very soft and gentle.
He would look after the creation of Allah subhana wa tada if he saw something that was you know, in his home that was safe, he would take it and move it aside if it was something that was dangerous, like an animal like a predator of some sort that would that would hunt right? They spent, you know, days, weeks months trying to decide if it's a boy, if it's a girl, what are the name? What what names should we give it. And that's the one thing that they have left in terms of the link with you, yet you took it away from them. kept with you. But if you change your name,
