in a few days, we'll be 1/3 through the month, and then a few days after that we will be halfway through the month. And then a few days after that, we will be two thirds of the way through the month and into the last 10 nights. And that's just how quick the month of Ramadan goes. Right It comes in and goes. We begin the month thinking so Pamela feels like I'm abunda was just yesterday. And now we noticed that Ramadan is here and one week is already gone. Tonight is the eighth Night of the month of October.

So again, I remind myself and I remind every single one of us that we need to make sure we focus on what our goals were throughout this month overall, what did we plan on doing what were our intentions before the month begin? And have we

have we even done to to reach our goals and to work towards them?

And then they wake up the next morning, they feel terrible, they feel awful, they have a hangover, they have a headache, they're like, you know, I need coffee and need Tylenol I need, you know, I just not feeling good, can't process things. And then once they come back to their senses, well, all of these bills and financial responsibilities are still here, you didn't get rid of them, you didn't do anything

different. They're still there, you still need to look after them. And you haven't really achieved anything different other than the fact that you wasted some time that you could have put your time and your energy towards earning that money that you need to take care of those financial responsibilities that you have. So my brothers and sisters, when it comes to looking after ourselves as human beings, we shouldn't give into the evils of shape on the things that shape on has created to distract us from what is important. our financial responsibilities are important to us, but that's just one aspect of life.

Our Deen Islam teaches us to make sure that we look after those financial responsibilities. So what's more important than those responsibilities is Islam. And so somehow Allah you know, it's really interesting world that we live in, where if you take away small aspects of the technology that we use so frequently, like the internet, we wouldn't have this class. They will have no protector or intercessor other than a law, even if they were offered every possible ransom. Nothing will be accepted from them. Those are the ones who will be ruined for their misdeeds. They will have a boiling drink and a painful punishment for their disbelief. Okay.

The very first part of this verse is important. Allah Subhana Allah says and leave those who take this faith, Islam as mere play and amusement and are diluted by their worldly life.

I need to elaborate slightly here.

Because within Islam, there are things that are considered sinful, that don't take out of Islam. So for example, someone may be a Muslim man, right? A believer, and they, they pray, and they fast, and they do things that they're supposed to do. But we make mistakes, all of us make mistakes, we all make mistakes. But the mistakes that we make should not be those that clearly go against the command of Allah Subhana Allah, and they should not be the mistakes that are mentioned or stated in the Quran or into some of the prophets along with it, who send them more specifically, that take us out of Islam.

Okay, it should not be those mistakes. So we can't say, Oh, one sin is the same as another sin. all sins are at the same level. No, they're not. Some sins are petty, and other sins are major. Okay.

So we shouldn't generalize. And we shouldn't take this Diem for granted my brothers and sisters with the online world. It's very sad to see the condition of the online.
