It is from the principles of Islam, that just as you obey and you owe to Allah obedience, then likewise you owe to His Messenger sallallahu alayhi wa sallam obedience, that is our religion. It's not just simply some type of verbal, verbal custom that

you're performing. It's not just some lip service that you're giving.
