Okay, Smilla rahmanir rahim. So the idea of today's session is in sha Allah that we're going to be going through the House of Prophet sallallahu sallam. Now, it whenever we in general embark on a study of a particular science in Islam. It is generally recommended by the Allamah as well as you know, the traditional way of learning sciences in Islam is that you you do something which is called the muscle of that science, which is called what is that one thing? What is the introduction very, like what is my bird's eye view of this particular science that I need to know in order for me to understand or in order for me to be able to grasp and put things in place when I am studying that

particular science? So the science of Syrah likewise, like any other science, the science of zero also has a method. And the science of Sierra has a mouthful. I'm just trying to figure out how am I going to go to the next slide?

This is so interesting Okay, here we go. So the science of Syrah is this better or if I do this I think this is much better you guys can read this better I think this is going to be much better inshallah the bigger Okay, so the science of Syrah

often Nabi sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, if you wanted to know about Prophet sallallahu Sallam that particular science, if we study the Quran, and if we study the Hadees, in order for you and me to know Prophet sallallahu Sallam that science has been divided into three primary categories, you have a category number one, the first category which is called etbr. So this category is following Prophet salallahu, alayhi wasallam, you have a second category, you have a category of medica. So you have the category of artifact, you have a category of headbutt, you have a category of it, tada.

These are primarily responsible, like we are responsible. For us it were important, it's important for us to actually understand that manufacturer had bought any device. These are the three primary categories and every single book that has been written in the science of Sierra, they fall under these categories Malefor, or knowing Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, it is about recognizing it is about understanding Prophet sallallahu Sallam in depth. Now, when we have Malefor, Under Modify, you have five major categories. We're going going to talk about that further down. So when we have Madhava, or when we know about Prophet sallallahu, alayhi wa sallam, then the net result is that you

have a habit and then if you have a habit and you want to follow Prophet sallallahu sallam, so how do why is it important for us to know Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam or where does Allah subhanaw taala tell us in the Quran, where we need to know Prophet salallahu Salam, Allah subhanaw taala says, not only for our brothers and salam upon closer study of the Quran refine Allah Samantha says em LEM Yadi fu Rasulullah whom

right Allah is saying that don't they know the prophet like Have they failed to recognize or yeah the food to know the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, from this particular verse, their alma they have taken the metaphor of Prophet sallallahu Sallam is an essential because Allah is asking you a question. Don't they know? Don't they recognize the Prophet salallahu Salam do that? Don't they recognize their own messenger Rasulullah home their own messenger? And then Alas, another question for whom? To whom one Quran or are they? Are they in denial of him? Are they denying the Prophet? So 95 of Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam is the first element and there are multiple

verses but the for the purpose of our discussion today, the next 35 minutes that we're here together, we're going to focus on one or two verses and then you know, we'll move on. Then the next category that we have is muhabba loving prophets, Allah Allahu alayhi wa sallam. We all there are numerous narrations in the Quran. There's numerous verses in the Quran, as well as numerous narrations from Hadith. A Hadith of Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam that talk about loving Prophet sallallahu sallam, for example, this hadith which it is in front of us, meanwhile, Hadoken that none of you shall believe Hector Hakuna Elohim you human quality who I didn't want Nasir

The next element is etbr of Nabi SallAllahu Sallam to follow Prophet sallallahu sallam. Now it developed Prophet sallallahu Sallam many many verses in the Quran and the Hadith, but I'm going to present just one in front of you you will encounter him to hipbone Allah, if you claim to love Allah subhanaw taala fact of your oni than Allah

we really confused, okay, really confused. So a lot of people well, first part, majority of our conversations about prophets and Allahu alayhi wa sallam, they don't even touch on the topic of Maratha about recognizing Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. And that's what I'm going to talk about further down, right? It doesn't even touch upon.

And a lot of people, their ultimate confusion is etbr is mahatva or Mahabis, etbr.

etbr is Malefor. If you follow Him, you will know Him. If you follow Him, you love him. Know, each one of these are individual separate separate pillars. combined. They form the sciences of CRO or they form they help you to understand and recognize profit or loss or to help you to know Prophet sallallahu sallam. And a lot of us we are a victim of this blender syndrome, right? So when we talk about Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, we put all of these things in a blender and we say etbr Is everything. Some will come and say magnifies everything. Malefor is, you know, who cares about it? Why do we need to follow Him? Do we just need to focus on Meriva we should, we must know him and

sends lots of salawat and salutations on him. And you know, it's about how we can you know, as long as you love him, you'll be fine.

The others they're gonna say no, it's all about the love of Prophets, analyzing them. Okay? We don't need to know Him. We just need to love Him and follow Him. Yeah, if you can do it, it's great. Good, but as long as you love him, and they will bring many, many verses, they'll bring many anecdotal evidences from Quran and Sunnah and Sierra to prove their points. Okay, we're going to talk about it in the next verse in the next slide. I want to lay like a foundation for everyone to understand that how do we like if I was to ask you this question those people that are online over here, and feel free to pitch in and I'm gonna, I'm going to open you know, I want to get some comments over here.

If you think about it.

Do like anybody that is listening right now, do you have any kids that are in love, like you have any of your children, and they are so much in love with a particular person, for example, a football star, which is messy, or a basketball player, whatever, anyone, if you have any kids that are like infatuated, or like madly in love with some, some personality, or some, I don't know, some superstar, or some Instagram person or whatever, I'm sure most of you might, and you know, you might have one, or you might be aware of an individual that is like, you know, the, you know, desperately in love with this one person. And if you think about it,

what do the kids or what do these young people, what do they desire, right? They will be like, oh, when you go to this place, can you get me a shirt that is number 10. And it has the name of this particular person, because I want to wear the shirt, and I want to do it the bow of this person, I want to follow him I want to be like him, when we go and get a hair cut done when we go and cut our hairs. When you go to the barber and if your child is is interested in or he's really inspired by some sort of a superstar, some sort of football, sports, whatever personality that he follows and he wishes to be like that person, he's going to go and try to get the haircut that is going to be

similar to the haircut of that individual that he prefers or he likes right. Similarly. So what what is he doing? He is following a person that this individual has made a decision. He is following an individual that this person he has fed made a mental decision or a choice that I who who I am going to follow Him. If you were to ask him this question, if you were to say, Brother, why do you follow this person sister? Why are you sincerely following this person? What is

The reason why you want to follow this particular individual the response is going to be because I love him. I'm madly in love with this person. I just can't You know, I think about him. I'm like, you know, every night I go to sleep, I wake up, I have the picture of this person in my house. You know, I almost like venerate him, I love him so much. And if you were to ask that person, why do you love him so much? Why does this teenager he has so much love for this particular superstar or personality or whatever it is, their response is going to be? The love is part and parcel of how much I know about him. I know what what size shoes he wears, I know what is his preference when it

comes to perfumes and colognes I know what food he likes, I know what type of restaurants he likes to eat. I know that this person he really loves sushi. This person he is really in love with steaks, and he likes his steaks, medium, well, whatever the case is, you're going to find that your child or that individual who is madly in love with this personality, or this, this, you know, superstar, football player, whatever that is, you're going to find him that he has followed the steps he has chose. So he has so much information about that person, his mighty fat, he knows so much about him that that knowing has led him to love this individual despite the fact that he has never met him.

And then since he has never met met him, but he loves him. He chooses that he is going to follow him. Am I making sense here? Like can I get like a thumbs up and you know, just just because I'm just talking to myself. And I know that you know, there are a few people watching online. So just just you know, just so I feel like I'm not talking to oblivion and talking in space. But in any case, so, as I as I described right now,

over here, we have a categorical like we have to, to take this love of Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam are knowing Prophet sallallahu Sallam in this manner, which is that we go down from the bottom, we must know Him. We must know about Prophet sallallahu Sallam we must know about what did he eat? We must know about how did he what how did he sleep? What was his bed? Like? How was his home like, and part of knowing him is knowing where he lived? If you were to ask all these young teenagers today, Oh, what about this person? Where does he live? Oh, he lives in this particular Castle, his house is white, his door is Black is his car is yellow, and all of these particular

things about his house.

Our youth, our young people are going to be able to

enumerate for you. Why is that they're going to be able to enumerate that because they genuinely know every single thing about him. And if we know every single thing that is there to know for us to know about Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam The net result is going to be that you and I are going to fall in love with Prophet sallallahu sallam. And when we fall in love with Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam the automatic response of a human intellectual hardtail person is that he's going to have a desire to follow Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam

so

can you guys tell me some of the ways that we can know about Prophet sallallahu sallam? What's the first source for you and I to know about Prophet sallallahu himself who's going to tell me I want to know online if anybody can you know on the comments let me know what is the first source like if I was to tell somebody oh, I want to know about Prophet sallallaahu Selim and I was to go to an individual and say okay, oh, you'd like to know about properties and sell them let me tell you this is how you know profits or loss and I'm or this is how you find out more about Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, what is the first source? What is the first thing that you and I are going to

focus on in order for us to know more about prophets of Allah? Why do you sell them? Who's going to be able to tell me that Sierra before 00 Are our books, and Robbie Algis AKA, Hey, Rob, yeah, you got the answer for n. Okay. So if I was to ask you now, how many times Allah subhanaw taala has mentioned, Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, whether it is with a direct name by using the word Mohammed or by using the word pronouns, or by speaking to Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam in a direct fashion, so saying, all right, Oh, hiya. Illya say so there's a direct communication to Prophet sallallahu Sallam say oh prophet called, but that command is directly talking to prophets of

Salaam. So

This would this constitutes as speaking to Prophet sallallahu Sallam or mentioned of prophets Allah. Say, who's going to say, Prophet sallallahu sallam? Right, so the Vermeer over here is to Prophet sallallahu sallam, or the command is going to Prophet sallallahu sallam. How many times has Allah subhanaw taala mentioned Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam in the Quran. Make a wild guess who's gonna guess for me? But I just want you to guess

Rasul allah sallallahu Sallam mentioned by name, I think four times in the Quran. But overall, if you were to give or take a wild guess, how many times in passing references or pronouns or in a command format?

Right? Or in another like Subhanallah V or Sohrabi, or the D ABD? Right? It's a mention of Prophet sallallahu Sallam in the Quran, right? Not just by Seema not just by by the name of Prophet salallahu Alaihe Salam, I just want to know how many times was Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam mentioned in specific by not just name, but pronouns and other names. Nebby Kalia, you Hanabi Allah subhanaw taala says say are you Hanabi interview Prophet sallallahu Sallam has mentioned you know, and maybe you hola meaning Prophet salallahu Alaihe Salam is more befitting or worthy for the believers. So Sarah, I need you to go up more Sina and Tara, I need you to go up more. Come on,

guys. I need you to comment on this. This is one of those times where you guys get really involved with your fingers and you start typing because you know, Muslims love guessing things around it. Just guess. If you can guess how many times more than 1000 times. Oh, someone's doing good. Robbie, someone's doing good. I want you to raise that number Robbia raise that figure more than 1000 times. raise that number a little bit. Who's gonna raise it?

Raise that number. So it's more than 1000 Yes, you are. almost halfway there. almost halfway there.

Who's gonna guess 135 All of you Sima 3000 come down a little bit. Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam has been mentioned in the Quran in passing references pronouns and and Nebby the different names through commands more than 2670 plus times. Okay, the reason I mentioned plus is because some are Allameh. They say 2670 2692. So, the denominator is 2670 times Rasool allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam has been mentioned in the Quran. Right? So if you want to know about Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, we pick up the Quran.

Okay, that 2670 times translates to more than 1000 verses in the Quran.

Okay, more than 1000 verses so more than 1000 verses in the Quran where there is a mention in the forms of the five five types that I've already mentioned about Rasulullah sallallahu. How do you send them in the Quran? Now, those of you that know how many verses are there total in the Quran?

How many total verses are there in the Quran? This one you can look up in Google if you want. But you know this one, you can get an answer from Google, you can ask shift Google shift, Google will be able to give you a right photo on this one. You should be able to get the answer on this one, right? Almost 1/5 of the Quran

is talking 1/5 of the verses. Yes. 666,666. Almost 1/5 of the Quranic verses talk, or have a passing mention of Prophet salallahu alayhi wa sallam. Now if you were to go and find out, Oh, how many verses how many sewers begin? So the beginning of the Surah it starts with Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, it starts with Allah subhanho wa Taala talking to Prophet salallahu Alaihe Salam. So for example, the color in the Surah is that begins with the coal, right? The Kaaba hill they call it right call who Allahu Ahad call. Yeah, you will call Yeah, you will. Kaffee Ron Paul. Yeah, pull Wallah who had pulled out the verbenas all of the coworking, right the sewers that begin with coal.

So why am I telling you all of this right because Allah subhanaw taala has mentioned Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam in the Quran. What's really ironic for us to see is that out of the 114 surahs, you have only eight surahs, which the real amount of Tafseer they have said that Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam is not mentioned in you know, any passing form in that particular surah. So, out of the 114 only eight sutras are there in which there is in context Rasul allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam or stories being mentioned, but his name in forms of the pronoun

or the or Nebby or you know, any other form of mentioning the name of Prophet sallallahu Sallam in all of the five cat types that we discussed, that is not mentioned.

Now, why is all of this important?

Right?

Because it's important for us to realize why am I going through this because we realize something about Rasul allah sallallahu Sallam in the Quran these verses what are they talking about? Who's gonna guess while he comes to Rama, Rama, Tala?

Right, what are these verses talking about? Anybody wants to guess. So these are 2670 Plus verses. What are these verses talking about?

Anybody wants to guess?

When it comes to Allah, any wild guesses? What are these verses talking about? Anybody knows what these verses are? You want to make a guess?

What are these verses talking about in the Musa law when you send them?

Or what do we know?

If we were to?

Definitely not though, hey, they're talking about Rasulullah sallallahu sallam. So what do we know about these 2660 verses that are referencing Rasulullah sallallahu sallam, what are they telling us about Rasulullah sallallahu Sana, they're telling us about the body of Nabi SallAllahu sallam, right? They're talking about Mazza vulva. sarova tava his eyes did not deviate Allah subhanaw taala you know, talks about his you know, marqeta Well, for DOMA, his heart talks about the heart of Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam right.

Well, now young

So we talk we have verses that talk about the body of Nabi SallAllahu, alayhi wa sallam. Then there are verses that talk about the dealings of Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam, right, Muhammad Allah of Prophet sallallahu sallam, there are verses that talk about the first word of Prophet sallallahu wasallam

the battles that took place and the characterised and what happened in those battles or the commands that Allah gave Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi salam about the battles, right, then there are verses I'm skipping a lot of the detail because

most beloved person of by ALLAH SubhanA wa Tada Syrah 100%. And Allah is telling us about the family right of, of Prophet Sarah salami, Allah subhanaw taala talks about the gerat like Surah gerat is all about the house of Nafisa salaam that if you were to enter the house of Nabi SallAllahu, alayhi wa sallam Don't Don't Don't peek into that sort of Isaiah talks about do not peek into the house of Nabi SallAllahu Sallam different elements about Nabi SallAllahu sallam, and more importantly, if you were to summarize the characteristics or the character of Prophet salallahu Salam, right, that it says Whoa can definitely learn as a little girl Bella villain fragomen Holic it talks about the

character well in Nicola Allah for looking at him you are on the loftiest character, right? I love Hulu Tina Aleem basically means that every single lofty character that exists in this world Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam is above it. Isla who Loki NaVi, right,

So all of these verses tell us a lot about prophets and Allah why do you send them so one of the best ways to recognize and to have Maratha and to know Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam is through the verses of through the listen through the words of Allah subhanho wa Taala I should correct that through the words of ALLAH SubhanA wa Tada. We should know Prophet sallallahu sallam.

And the list goes on and on. I want to put a small couplet of a shire who says how well

with that which Allah has revealed, and Allah has praised his Nabhi so I tried to describe Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam using the verses of the Quran and the descriptions of Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wasallam in the Quran. So today, when people they talk about Syrah, when they talk about Nabi SallAllahu, alayhi wa sallam, when they talk about all of these,

you know, different sciences related to Nabi SallAllahu, alayhi wa sallam, the word

they have a completely wrong way of knowing Prophet sallallahu sallam. So if you were to ask and you know the answers that some of you gave was the indication of this right? If you if you say how do you know Prophet sallallahu Sallam read the Sierra of Prophet sallallahu sallam? That's the common answer. And we saw some of those answers and above, not saying that that's not one of the ways but this is the wrong way for us to go about understanding Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam sera Prophet salallahu Alaihe Salam does not this just helps you understand the events that took place during the lifetime of Nabi sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, they help you understand things that took

place during the lifetime of Nabi SallAllahu sallam, they help you understand the events, they help you give you some contextual anecdotal evidences or coinex conceptual historical backdrop to why this verse was revealed or what happened at this particular time. But it does not help you.

You can know about him from the Quran. Yes, you can definitely know about him from the Quran. Right? But now we're getting into the science. So a lot of us were going to say you know, it's very hard for me to know profit zone a lot he said him from the Quran or you know, how am I going to extrapolate all of that. So, the correct way

is, there are five sciences that every single one of us, we should know about Nabi SallAllahu, alayhi wa sallam there are five sciences, that we should be aware of when it comes to learning or five sciences related to Nabi SallAllahu, Sallam these are called iRULU and never we are alone are never we the prophetic sciences sciences that are related to you and I understanding Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam

And subhanAllah if you pick it up, beautifully written inside if you were to even look into it, beautiful, beautiful text inside about Nabi SallAllahu sallam. So Shama ill of Nabi sallallahu alayhi wa sallam is a science. Shama al basically means characteristics of Prophet

It's Allahu Allah you sell them Shimla basically Shama al actually comes from the word Shimla. Shimla basically means a charter or it means a cloak that you wear and you cover yourself with. And then the Hadith says that Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa reported that Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam more his war, his ring on his blessed right hand, so we get to know the Prophet sallallahu Sallam wore the ring on the right hand. The next thing we get to know is I saw even raffia and putting his ring on his right hand so I asked him about why he put it in the right hand. He said, I saw Abdullah even

Jaffa Jaffa are the Allahu Allah and putting the ring on his right hand and he said that the Messenger of Allah and the messenger of allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam would wear the ring on his blessed right hand. So now one of the Shema is that you get to know one of the characteristics of Prophet sallallahu Sallam you got to know about reading about these two a hadith says is that Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam would put his ring on his right hand some of the other things for example,

things concerning drinking from a vessel drinking from a jar or a vessel that hadith the Prophet sallallahu Sallam and says and unanswered in America, Allahu Allah took out for us a thick wooden drinking vessel lined with iron.

And he said, Oh sabot This is the drinking vessel of Nabi SallAllahu sallam. So we get to know that Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam had a vessel, he had a jar, he had a sort of a cup, that cup was made of wood and it was lined with metal, it was lined with iron inside, and that is what Prophet sallallahu Sallam would drink it in or vice versa. It was lined with with I didn't read the Arabic so you know, maybe.

Yeah, so it was not lined. It says Musab beheaded, ie it was put together so it had rings that we know so glass of wood, and it had rings around that would be covered or that would that would hold the glass in the wood in place. So now this is one of the first sciences of Nabi SallAllahu, alayhi wa sallam related to Prophet salallahu Alaihe Salam which is called Shama and Okay, great.

Next, the next signs is called Salah al of Nabi SallAllahu, alayhi wa sallam for Allah al of Nabi SallAllahu sallam, they relate to the things that are related to the virtues of Prophet sallallahu sallam. So the virtue of Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam in the eyes of Allah subhanaw taala virtues of Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam so that is for Allah in things that tell us the greatness the grandness the grandeur of Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam above everybody else.

Right. These are evidentiary grounds on which we prove or evidentiary proofs for the truthfulness of Nabi SallAllahu, alayhi wasallam. These are evidentiary proofs for the proof of Nabi SallAllahu sallam. So these include, for example, but not limited to these include, you know, more exact, all the miracles that Prophet salAllahu alayhi wasallam performed during his lifetime, these are more desert there are books that are written in history, that are called de la la Naboo. There are books

that are written that talk about this particular characteristics of Nabi salah, this particular science, which is how do we prove the truthfulness of Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam. It begins with Margie Zak, and it ends with predictions, predictions that Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam did during his lifetime that came true during the lifetime of sahabas. And some predictions that are coming true in our lifetime, they prove to us and to a listener and to person who comes in believes in him many, many years later, many centuries later, that he was a true Messenger of Allah, he was a true messenger of God.

And lastly, you have the element of CR, you have the element of Sierra and Sierra is basically a science that stands on its own if I was to actually redraw this, now that I'm talking about it, actually what I would I would do is something similar to this like I would redraw this in you know, this is called live editing. If I was redraw this, this would be much more appropriate I think. And then if we were to take this

this would be a much more appropriate picture, okay. So Shama Ale, of Nabi SallAllahu, alayhi wa sallam will have will give you a sense of this. Or if you were to say six lectures or seven lectures in which we go through the different elements of the house of Nabi SallAllahu, alayhi wa sallam and we explore for example, when we go into the kitchen, we talk about the kitchen of Nabi SallAllahu sallam, but then we also talk about food, we talk about the things that he liked about food, so we link things that are related to kitchen for Nabi SallAllahu, Sallam similarly when we go into the closet, like you know my walk in closet is right at the back right so when we walk into the closet of the you know, Nabi SallAllahu, sallam, his wardrobe, what did he have? Right? What did he have on the wall? Right? What was there

in his wardrobe in the wall? What was hanging? What type of clothes did he have? And then more importantly, okay, if you had these clothes, what do we have in our wardrobe, but more importantly, then we'll also go in things that are related to that. So for example, related to wardrobe is added of wearing clothes, advocates of wearing clothes, and that is also going to be covered like insha Allah.
