smilla rahmanir rahim al hamdu Lillahi Rabbil alameen wa Salatu was Salam O Allah Mambo for rock metal lil al Amin. Bala alley he was off the edge Marina salaam aleikum wa rahmatullah wa barakato.
The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said to us that there is not a worshiper who fasts a day in the way of Allah subhanaw taala, except that Allah removes his face from the fire by a distance of 70 years. This Hadith is reported in Bukhari, and Muslim. So this authentic hadith shows us the great reward when it comes to fasting that the Prophet sallallahu Sallam is basically telling us that for every facet that a person does, Allah subhanaw taala removes the Hellfire from his face by a distance of 70 years, 70 years. I want you to just imagine this brothers and sisters, imagine a tandoor Okay, imagine an oven where, you know, bread is made. Now imagine being inside of that oven
for a period of even one hour, we would not we would not be able to survive, we will not be able to, you know, be able to last that long, even just one hour. And that is an oven of this world. That is the fire of this world. We know that the fire of the Hereafter is 70 times hotter than you know any fire of this world. So when we you know are fasting and these hot days, these long summer hot days, let us really think about the goal let us really think about this, this great reward that a person gets from Allah subhanaw taala that Allah is saving him from the Hellfire by a distance of 70 years, 70 years. That's a really long time. When a person focuses on the Hereafter, when he focuses on what
he will get in the car, and more important than that, just simply pleasing along getting getting closer to Allah subhanaw taala then has fast become easy for him, he begins to actualize the grace in you know, the greater goal, you know, what is the purpose of fasting or what is the grand in the grand scheme of things? Where does this all fit? It's not just about, you know, being hungry or being thirsty, or avoiding marital desires. It's not just about that, you know, it's about pleasing a light it's about the reward that a person gets in the hereafter and the amount of sins that we do, right day and night the amount of sins that we do we need anything that will stop our faces or or
stop ourselves from being put in the hellfire. You know, and every fast if you think about it, this is a massive, you know reward from Allah subhanaw taala that is reducing our punishment in the hellfire. I ask Allah Subhana Allah to make us of those people who do not even get you know anywhere near the Hellfire we do not even feel the heat of the Hellfire even from afar and ask Allah subhanaw taala to make us people who enter genital for those without any reckoning and without any punishment.
