So you think you can come here and live and get rich off of us? And then leave whenever you want to? Just make money like that? And take everything? Yeah. What do you think you can do that? Do you think you're able to do you think you can? And so he says to them, he says, Is it is money? Is the reason why you're stopping? Is it because of money? That you think you know, I hear you're saying that I'm making money off of you that now you want it now you just want to leave? So that's why some of us are in
that situation. Maybe the non Muslims look at us tours. Look, look at us living in America as being similar to the case of case of Sohei Rumi. Why because they might say look at you you were poor refugee coming from you didn't have anything you came here and made money off of us. Now you think that you want to leave with you're here, because you want to leave maybe because you can't worship Allah freely here. You just want to leave just like that. No, no, no.

That was his name. That was his nickname, the business map.

Like that's a loss. That's like he lost a lot of money. But what did he have?
He was able to be with the Prophet sallallahu to worship Allah and the Messenger of Allah. And that's
really handy. Yes. So that was profitable. So sometimes,
when we we only see that which is apparent, but there are so many things that are happening. Some of our brothers and sisters, yes, they're going through suffering. And some of them are martyred. But they are, inshallah they're in a better place.
And they're saying right now, like, yeah, all the struggles, all the thing, every difficulty that they had loads of hunger, the days of thirst, was it all worth it?
What Allah subhanho wa Taala gives them in the hereafter and in the grave.
They and the marchers they wish they could come back and suffer again. And be martyred again in the path of Allah.
Because he, but even in the dunya, yes.
Yes.
Yes, I mean, just saying that, yeah, this is only one aspect, one side of it only, that Allah subhana wa anago give them so much more. And that we with that which we don't see. And so, and also in this world, when a person
sacrifices anything for the sake of Allah, if they're sitting there patient, the key is
in Mahoma, yet daddy, well, yes, we're fading Allah, Allah, you're at your mercy Massini indeed, he has the CA and his patient, Allah will not make the efforts go to waste, make their efforts go to waste. Muhammad Rasulullah and that's why no matter what you do,
you will not be able to catch up with terms of the reward and the status of the companions of the prophet Elijah their status because of what they sacrificed the early Muslims and what they sacrifice. So in the age of the prophets, Allah Nathan, one thing we learn as we learn sacrifice, that you sacrifice for the sake of Allah subhanho wa taala. Allah will reward you in this life and the hereafter and ALLAH subhanho wa Taala raise your status in this life also and in the hereafter. What's another thing that we learn
in the history of the prophets, Allah lives and from the Hendra, the messenger of allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, we learn to put our trust in Allah, by doing all that we can first.
And this is repeated over again in many incidents, one of which is when the messenger of allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam heard that the Muslims were, or the non Muslims are trying to kill him.
What did he do?
What did he do? What did he just
say?
Allah will protect yourself or protect. But what did the Prophet sallallahu do? The first thing he did when he heard about what they did that morning, in the when it's time for play Lulu whenever he was asleep, the Messenger of Allah left his house, and how did he leave his house?
He covered up his face.
And he covered up his face. So that people he covered his face when he left. Whose house was he going to?
He was going to the house of Abu Bakr, the law or the law

and he covered up his face, he was taking all precautionary measures. And then what else did he do?

And so I live in the fall he said he told me that night to sleep in my my bed. Now, if you are unable to be a toddler, what would you do

For us, we will be scared, right? We scared? Yeah. Oh, Messenger of Allah, you know, they're trying to kill you. And you're trying to tell we don't pretend to be you?
Right? No, I literally thought it was brave and courageous. Yeah. He's, he's happy to do it, yes. To sacrifice for the sake of Allah, you know, to be at the service of Islam in the Muslims. The sacrifice for the sake and the sake of for the sake of Allah Subhana Allah. So he's he was the one that slept in the bed of the prophets of Allah.
And wearing the cloth covered himself so that the people were thinking, That was him. So when they came in, what did they find?
When they came in, they found Ali, maybe you thought it but the Prophet sallallahu. Notice he did. He took all precautionary measures, even though did Allah Allah already promised to protect them?
And already promised to protect him? But he did even that. And then when he left, how did he leave? Did he just go? Daytime? Just leave? No, he left at nighttime.
He left then where did he go? Did he go straight on the same road to Medina, he went south, to have a here
to try to, to try to make sure that it's easier to try to, to try to you know, to, to, to go in a different route road than the normal person would usually use. So that the people would not know where he was. So he went south. And of course, the first day that the Prophet sallallahu wasallam is missing? What do you think he does?
What do you think that people are doing? Everyone's looking for him? Right? Especially why they want money, everyone's looking. So you don't want to be out anywhere.
You don't want to be anywhere. You can't be seen by anyone than the first day. You can be seen by anyone. And the second day, you can't be seen anyone. And third, the after three days, people are saying Oh, we didn't find him. But we looked yesterday, we looked the day before. And then when they stop looking, they know that hey, if he already, he already left? If he's already left and where he would be where would he be he would already be halfway maybe far away already. And so the Messenger of Allah hid in the south, he went south, and they scan the cave called what?
So, so this is so he hid. So this is like, every single action that the Messenger of Allah took. He is the Prophet and Messenger of Allah. But when you're doing something, you do your very best. And that's why when you open a business, for example, right, you have to first of all, do that which is right, choose business, a business that maybe that's halal, that's as pure as possible as you can. And then what do you do? You just open and just do any? No, you have to study you have to consult and you have to pray istikhara right, you praise the hara, and do SHA, SHA, SHA, SHA and console, about, you know, what's the best way to do it, and speak to people who have experience and then you
do all of that.
And then you do what else?
You make dua to Allah subhanho wa taala. So that's why the Messenger of Allah the whole time he's making dua to Allah, he's remembering Allah. And so it's teaching us in life. If you want something, whether you want to go study, whether you're at school, whether it's work, whether you want to get married, whatever it is, you do your job, you do the best that you
You can, and then you make dua to Allah subhanho wa taala. And you praise the hara and you consult with people. You can't just sit here and do nothing and expect to have children. So I want children, let me just say Make dua to Allah.
And then maybe the stork will come and bring a baby and drop it in front of your house
no story, nobody's gonna drop a baby in your house. Because you will, you may do and you want to make no, you do all that you can first right? And you get married and you find and even after you get married, you still might not get it might not have anybody. You continue to make dua you never lose hope. Like Prophet Ibrahim was old and Zara, she was past menopause. But Allah subhana can make things happen, never lose hope. And so that's why putting your trust in Allah we learn from the, from the Sierra, the Messenger of Allah, Allah has promised
victory. But he did all that he could.
He did all that he could. He supplicated they went through difficulties. And then Allah Subhana Allah gave me a victory. Right? And that's why for us, we have to in an orphanage to form a community, to be the best Muslims that we can be. We have to make an effort, do all that we can. We have to supplicate to Allah. And then we take all precautionary measures. If you want to wake up for Fajr prayer. And it's you having a hard time waking up prefer the prayer. Don't just say yeah, Allah, you know, helped me to wake up from five different No,
you first what do you first have to do?
Sleep early,
asleep, and then set the alarm clock. And sometimes you know, alarm or not work.
If your alarm clock doesn't work, tell someone who's close to you to call you. Or even come to your house. Let's go to the masjid together. Because if you know someone is coming at a certain time, you're more likely to get up. Right and then take all of those precautionary measures. Even after you do all of that sometimes it doesn't work, something happens. Your friend who you call talk and he overslept to, you overslept, and the alarm went off and you didn't hear anything. You're so tired, but you did all that you could.
And then you supplicated to Allah and you slept early. That's what putting your trust in Allah.
If you do that, that's the kind of trust and Allah that we should do. If we do that in sha Allah, Allah will give us success. That's the key to success is to put your trust in Allah.
But when when I say when I tell when you tell people put your trust in Allah, what do they do?
Like alright yeah, Allah and then they just do nothing.
But what Islam when you say put your trust in Allah, the true putting your trust and I was what
made you do all that you can, until you have you can't do anything else. And then you supplicate to Allah. That's what true putting your trust in Allah.
That's what truly truly putting your trust in Allah. And that's why Prophet Jaco. When he told his children when they were going to melt to Egypt.
He knew they were very handsome.
They go into one to the one together, what's going to happen? They enter the gate, they are foreigners. They speak a little bit different they wear different clothing. And they are one of the most handsome group of young men that the world has ever known.
Right because they are the children of Jaco who the children was who was, who is a prophet, who is son of a prophet prophet is Haku send the Prophet Ibrahim. And Prophet Ibrahim
was extremely handsome,
extremely handsome. In fact, the prophet Salam said, I saw him and there's there's, there is no one who resembles the prophets a lot more than Prophet Ibrahim. So they resemble each other. And who was his wife?
Sarah, she was so beautiful that when she entered Egypt, the people Egyptians, they said, they went to the king and said, We found we saw a woman, the likes of which in beauty we've never seen before. And that's why the king wanted for her for him, though, right. So from that project, he came
the children of Prophet Jaco, the proper use of and his brothers, so they were extremely handsome. And imagine if they walked together as a group entering what happened. What do you think is gonna happen all the women in the city
like well
And you know, these are not Muslims, right? And so whether they're gonna have jealousy or lying,
have jealousy. So he wants to protect. He wants to protect his children. He wants to protect his children from from jealousy.
And so he doesn't just say you know, just just go you know, go go go back to Egypt go to Egypt.
Go to Egypt. No, he says, you have any here All My Children.

So some people might say, well, don't you put your trust in Allah
tell you for your trust, just go out and go in, who cares? If Allah if it happens, it happens. No, he says, Allah here, I'm doing this because I put my trust in Allah. And then he says, well, either he failure to work along with working on and that's how people who put their trust in Allah, that's what they do,
that they do all that they can to protect their children. So some of us some people nowadays, they don't care.
Every time their children do something like adorable, they put it up on social media. And there are some people who are watching and there are many, many people who maybe don't have children and they're jealous of you. And I and evil is true. And that's why you don't go off and you know like showing off everything that you have in social media because you might lose all of it.
And that's why you take precautionary measures and you remember Allah and you remind others also so if somebody for example comes to house and says you're you're you have a very beautiful you have very beautiful children
and they don't say Masha Allah reminders and brothers say much ah, this is a loss of bandwidth that
mashallah like this is from Allah subhanho wa Taala
it's not my it's not me. You know, the whatever I have my my house made me look nice. I have a nice car. I have beautiful children. I have this and that, but it's not it's Allah. Remember Allah, it is He Who gave it to me, not because of me. And that's the difference between a Muslim and non Muslim. Everything you have a is a Muslim, who you attributed to, to Allah subhanaw taala. And so one of the lessons we learned in the Sierra or in the Hydra, the Messenger of Allah took precautionary measures.
And he was very meticulous, very meticulous and ended with this and shall also do you know, who we hired.

So you hire the best even if that person is a non Muslim, you hire them because in Islam, you always try to look for excellence.
Excellence if a Muslim can do it good the best job then it's okay hire the Muslim but if you know the Muslims are very, very unorganized, unprofessional. It's okay to hire someone who's professional even though they're not Muslims.
Because you want to do the best because if anything deserves the best, it's Islam. It's the Dawa to Allah subhanho wa Taala
So that's why everything that we do, we try to we try to do it the best way that we can.
And so excellence is also one of the keys to success to excel in it, and that's why we're taught. That's why, you know, there's my shoulder it's on the brothers and sisters are learning Quran. That's when we read it are some of the brothers. I know some, you know, some sometimes when I teach, yeah.
