So this winter, join me in Dallas, Texas, alongside your classmates from all over the world, to learn the story of the life of the best of humanity, their mercy to mankind, the prophet muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa

00:00:46--> 00:00:52

sallam, go to Sierra intensive.com to register and for more information,

00:00:55--> 00:01:06

Salam ala rasulillah who Allah Allah, he was a marine. inshallah, continuing with our series on the life of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, a siracha number we had the prophetic biography.

00:01:08--> 00:01:17

In the previous session, we were discussing and talking about we were learning about the Treaty of who they be.

00:01:19--> 00:01:22

We were talking about the Treaty of davia.

00:01:23--> 00:01:33

And so in the previous session, what we discussed, what we talked about was the fact that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam, along with 1400, Muslims,

00:01:34--> 00:01:38

departed from the city of Medina, and proceeded towards the city of Mecca.

00:01:40--> 00:02:24

We also discussed and talked about the fact that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and all the believers that were with the Prophet sallallahu, Alayhi, wasallam, all went into the state of Iran. So they all assumed the state of Iran and being men, right, of course, for the requirement for men, and they had armies that they have to wear the specific type of garments. And so they were wearing those garments. Along with that they were traveling with a very large quantity of, of animals for the purposes of sacrifice. And further on top of that, they weren't carrying with them, you know, military supplies. So this was very obviously from the very onset, a peaceful mission, if

00:02:24--> 00:02:55

you will, to go and perform to your IRA. Now we talked about how when the prophets, a lot of them in the Muslims, they came near the city of Mecca, then they were basically blocked off, they were cut off by, you know, some forces and certain, some cavalry along with Khalid bin Walid, who would become Muslim later on, they were blocked off and they were cut off from proceeding forward into the city of Mecca. And the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam at that particular time, you know,

00:02:56--> 00:03:37

tried to speak to different people. Within Mecca, he tried to send different people from some of the other tribes that the Muslims had alliances and allegiances with and tried to reason with the people of Makkah, that do not prevent us Do not block us. We are not here to fight We are here for a peaceful mission. We just want to pay our respects to the GABA to the beat a lot to the house of Allah subhanaw taala and perform this era offer the rights of the Kaaba, of course, Americans were very stubborn and belligerent and they would just would not come around. And in fact, they ended up insulting and and completely just refusing many of the people that that were coming to speak on

00:03:37--> 00:04:16

behalf of the prophets, allottee seminar Muslims. And what we talked about previously was finally at the end of that, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam wanted to send their own little blue hotdog radi Allahu taala and who to go and try to work something out and negotiate. And the prophets, a lot of them made in a very interesting comment at that time as well, where he said that if they want to negotiate, I will negotiate. If they want peace, I will make peace if they want a treaty, I will give them a treaty, and so on what are the Allahu taala on who very respectfully and humbly said O Messenger of God, my relationship with the people of Makkah has been very contentious ever since I

00:04:16--> 00:04:19

became Muslim, and even more so after I migrated.

00:04:20--> 00:05:00

But I have a suggestion of someone who has been able to maintain a little bit more of a cordial relationship he has a right demeanor and the right personality and the right reputation. And that is none other than earthman even a fan of the Allahu taala and who the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam liked the suggestion and he sent to Earth mana the Allahu taala I knew in Jamaica, we talked about how when Earth mama Delano got there he displayed this profound gesture of love for the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam that wearable soufiane told him that listen while we deliberate and we talk about what we can figure out here, you are free to go and perform you

00:05:00--> 00:05:17

Do the toe off. And he said I will never do the dough off without the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and they were a little bothered by that. So they ended up locking him in a room, not necessarily imprisoning him, but they did kind of lock him and tell him to wait in a room while they deliberated.

00:05:18--> 00:05:35

That somehow created the rumors spurned the rumor that Earth mama the Allahu talanoa had been killed by the flesh, and the Prophet sallallahu Sallam was so taken aback and infuriated and hurt by that. And the Muslims were so rattled by that, that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam,

00:05:36--> 00:06:22

he gathered and congregated, all the believers, and that was we talked about this previously that is when the very historic and the very epic Oath of Allegiance debate occurred under the shade of the tree known as being activated one or baotou shujaa that the Quran speaks about in La Casa de la de la mina is you by your own neck, Natasha de la te that Allah is pleased, Allah has declared his pleasure with those individuals that gave you Oh Mohamed Salah Lago Allah He was solemn, the oath of allegiance under the tree. And I mentioned this before in the previous session, which was actually, particularly for those who come here, tuned in online. That was quite a few weeks ago, and I had

00:06:22--> 00:06:30

mentioned at the end of that session, that inshallah we were going to be having a little bit of a hiatus a little pause, because of him that we were going for the

00:06:31--> 00:07:04

trip alum takes in Amara group, every year where we go, when we study the life in the seat of the prophets a lot decem at the place, at the places where the events actually occurred. And, and Hamdulillah, one of the things I'd mentioned was, we were able to visit the place of who they be. And that particular place where the bay occurred is still marked there till today. And we were able to go there and observe that place and learn the lesson of the Treaty of who they be standing at the place in the form of who they be. So it makes it a reality and is very, very truly profound. And it really is.

00:07:05--> 00:07:47

It's very overwhelming to think about that powerful moment when that occurred, and the Quran was revealed and Allah declared his pleasure, and we'll be talking more about the virtues of the people who participated in her day BIA. Nevertheless, they gave that oath of allegiance, and of course, very, you know, beautifully. The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, he took one hand and put it in the other hand, and he said that, that this is the hand of Earth man, that the prophets, a lot of them took the oath of allegiance on behalf of earthman, not the Allahu taala and who, nevertheless, we said that, right, as soon as a little while after they were done with these proceedings, they saw

00:07:47--> 00:08:20

earthman or the Allahu Tanana coming back, and they found out that he was still alive and he was safe and sound and everyone was very relieved at that particular news. Nevertheless, now that earthmen of the Allahu taala who is coming back, he's not coming alone. So this is where we're picking up from earthman or the Allahu taala who is coming back to profitsystem season he's overjoyed. The Muslims are relieved, and everyone is very pleased, very happy and they think and they praise Allah subhanho wa Taala but now we pick up from here are some of the Allahu taala who did not come alone, but somebody came along with him, somebody tagged along with him, and who came

00:08:20--> 00:08:27

through my bicep coration sahoo suhaila amor a Habana Ahmed Abu ala Rasulullah sallallahu Sallam

00:08:28--> 00:08:37

Quraysh sent an emissary to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam a negotiator to the prophets, a lot of them by the name of Suhail, Rama

00:08:39--> 00:08:56

and they they're the instructions of the corporation, this man where he Mohammedan vasarely, who go to Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and negotiate a treaty with him reach some type of an understanding and some type of peace with the prophets a lot is happening with the Muslims.

00:08:58--> 00:09:09

And they told him when I got confused sooner he Illa and georgianna Rama who had they said that there is one thing that is absolutely non negotiable industry.

00:09:13--> 00:09:56

So suhaila in just a little bit of information on him. He had been, up until this point, a very staunch opponent and enemy of the prophets, a lot of the some of the Muslims in Islam and he was a very, very shrewd individual. So Qureshi was very confident that he was going to go there and try to get more than he gave. He was going to get more than he gave. But on top of that, they just clarified one thing. That there is one thing that we are not willing to negotiate on non negotiable and that is that they will go back home this year. They cannot proceed on into Mecca, they cannot do their own raw. We don't care if they want three days. We don't care if they want a day. We don't

00:09:56--> 00:10:00

care if they want three, three hours or an hour. They will not

00:10:00--> 00:10:06

Come into Mecca this year. There's no negotiating on that, on that issue. And they said for one lucky like

00:10:08--> 00:10:16

Buddha, Buddha said, because the Arabs, the rest of the Arabian Peninsula, the tribes of the Arabs will never spare us.

00:10:18--> 00:10:28

They will mock us, they will ridicule us, and they will no longer respect us that Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and Muslims they forced their way into Mecca and you people couldn't stop them.

00:10:30--> 00:10:48

So So helping Americans to the prophets, Allah is among the prophets a lot. He some sees him in the distance. He says Colorado Sudha Hina botho has a rajala the Prophet sallallahu Sallam said the people who they want to negotiate, and that's why they're sending this man because he had a reputation for being a negotiator

00:10:50--> 00:11:12

for them into hustle halen. So when Suhail comes to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, he speed starts talking to the profits a lot. He 70 goes on talking almost like making, you know, small talk for a final Kalamata Raja. He talks and he talks and he talks. And then finally they take a little bit of a break. And then when they come back to the table,

00:11:13--> 00:11:16

he then says, we should figure out

00:11:17--> 00:11:20

some terms that we both find agreeable.

00:11:22--> 00:11:38

I have licensed on behalf of the coalition negotiate with you, I'm assuming you can negotiate on behalf of your people, we should we should come to some type of terms. So they begin to talk and they basically arrive at some basic terms. And then the narration says well,

00:11:39--> 00:11:44

all that was left was to write down this peace treaty now

00:11:45--> 00:12:11

for whatever Omar Abubakar Ababa, but now there's a little bit of a side story that develops here that's very fascinating, that I want everyone to really pay attention to and really understand all of the Allahu tadhana when he hears that the terms are pretty much being negotiated to and now they're just waiting to sit down and write it down and formalize it, stamp it and seal it. Over the Allahu Allah Allah who jumps up

00:12:12--> 00:12:34

and he goes to Abu Bakr radi Allahu taala. No. And he says, Yeah, Baba, Elisa be Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. He points out the prophets a lot of the time respectfully, but he gestures towards the prophets, a lot of human says, Is that not the Messenger of God? You understand the tone? Like Don't we have the prophets a lot of the seminar sign?

00:12:35--> 00:12:57

And Abubakar, the Allahu taala gnosis but of course, he says a witness Nabeel muslimeen Are we not Muslims? followers of the true faith in the true religion? Says Bella, of course, he says, a super machine again. And these people are the non idol worshippers. idolaters. Right and polytheist

00:12:58--> 00:13:07

like they don't have the correct belief. He says, But of course, that is the case that is the truth. He says fine, Mr. Naughty and Danny Duffy, Deena

00:13:09--> 00:13:24

then why are we compromising with these people? Why are we accepting you know, making compromises and negotiating and allowing them to negotiate is down. Why are we allowing them to negotiate is down? Why?

00:13:26--> 00:13:29

Abu Bakr radi Allahu cherono says Yama

00:13:30--> 00:13:31

in Zm herdsa, who

00:13:33--> 00:14:05

says Omar, don't lose sight of the objective, stick to the profits allottee Center, right? It's an expression in the Arabic language, where it basically means that, you know, if you're, if you're kind of going and you're holding on to someone who knows the path, right, or a horse is going you're kind of holding on to the horse and walking along. Right? That was an expression in Arabic. And what it basically means is don't let go of the, of the of the of the shawl of the prophets, a lot of them.

00:14:06--> 00:14:10

You know how like when a father walks, and the son

00:14:11--> 00:14:30

like kind of small son walks alongside of him and maybe holds on to the side of the shirt or the shawl or, you know, the end of the Khamis or something like that, and just kind of holds on and walks along. And this is not to call, the Allahu talanoa child will either be law, but the prophets allowed him as a father figure to all of us, right.

00:14:32--> 00:14:40

And so he says, Don't let go of the profits a lot. He said, Hold on to him. Don't worry, you'll get to where you need to get to, but never let go.

00:14:42--> 00:14:57

And he says, For me, I shadow under who Rasulullah because our armor. I bear witness I give testimony that he is the messenger of God. And Allahu Chauhan responds by saying well, I shall do another Rasulullah

00:14:58--> 00:14:59

that don't worry about it.

00:15:00--> 00:15:06

I'm not confused, I'm not diluted. I also testified that he is without a shred of a doubt the Messenger of God.

00:15:07--> 00:15:13

But then Amaro the Allahu taala, who goes to the prophets a lot, he says and he says Yato Sula, Allah Allah stubby rasulillah

00:15:15--> 00:15:19

O Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, are you not the Messenger of Allah?

00:15:21--> 00:15:34

He says Bella, of course Yama. I mean, are we not the Muslims? The people who truly submit to Allah says but of course Yama and when he will machine Akina are they not the most unicorn?

00:15:35--> 00:15:45

Like not on the right side of the issue? He says Bella, of course Yama. Then he again he says Rama naughtier duniya toughie, Dena Why are we accepting compromise?

00:15:48--> 00:15:50

Why are we allowing them to negotiate is down

00:15:52--> 00:15:54

then the profits a lot he said him says

00:15:55--> 00:15:57

and Abdullah Abdulahi, what are Sulu

00:15:58--> 00:16:18

Oh Amara, I am the slave of Allah. And I am the messenger of Allah. Len ooh ha leafa Umbra who I can never ever, this obey the command of Allah subhanaw taala I can never ever go against what Allah has instructed me when you die

00:16:19--> 00:16:24

and Allah will never allow me to perish to suffer.

00:16:25--> 00:16:30

Right Allah will not leave abandon me. Allah will not leave me high and dry.

00:16:31--> 00:16:36

So don't worry. There's a plan here. Bigger than bigger than what you can see and understand.

00:16:38--> 00:17:26

Or Marathi Allahu taala under for Cana, Amara De La Cucina yaku for the rest of his life for the rest of his life for amarante. Allahu Jelani uses a muzzle to asumu We're at the Sadako suddenly we're on Tico minella de Sana to Yama, Eden, Mahabharata kalami, led to column two Yama even hotter, Rajo Guna, hieron Amara, the Allahu taala new says for the rest of my life, I never stopped extra fasting, like optional fasting, extra fasting, extra charity, extra prayers, freeing slaves, doing any type of a good deed that I could do to make up for what I did on that day, the way I spoke out of line on that day, because I was so afraid of how I had spoken and what I had said on that day,

00:17:27--> 00:17:55

until I hoped that my good would overcome whatever wrong I might have committed. And of course, we know that our motto the Allahu taala, and who is a gentle father Sahabi. He's a great, honorable, distinguished Companion of the Prophet sallallahu sallam, the prophets, Allah has him congratulated him of Paradise, we have no doubt about the fact that the Allahu taala who is from the people of Paradise, but you see the tequila, the God consciousness, the responsibility,

00:17:56--> 00:17:58

the self accountability of

00:17:59--> 00:18:08

the Allahu taala know that in spite of the fact that the profits a lot of these images already vouched and guaranteed that he will go to Paradise he holds himself so accountable.

00:18:09--> 00:18:13

Where do you and I stand in that regard? We don't have any guarantees coming our way.

00:18:15--> 00:18:26

But do we really reflect on and ponder and catch ourselves and hold ourselves accountable for what we say what we do, how we act, how we conduct ourselves, really some profound food for thought.

00:18:28--> 00:18:31

Then the prophets a lot of calls that I leave in

00:18:32--> 00:18:33

the Allahu taala and when he says

00:18:35--> 00:18:43

I need you to write on my behalf because the problem will have to be aminika is Allah taboo to learn the process of did not write?

00:18:44--> 00:18:50

So he calls Alina, the Allahu taala. And he says, you write on my behalf, I will dictate you, you were right.

00:18:51--> 00:19:12

All right to me, I know Donna, let's go, I'm ready. And the Prophet sallallahu some says Bismillahi Rahmani Raheem. So he immediately interrupts and he says that RT fu However, I'm not sure what you're talking about. I don't even understand the words you just said. I told you very sharp, very shrewd, very cunning.

00:19:13--> 00:19:34

Right? So he says, I don't even understand what you just said. He says, Well, I cannot do bismack Allahumma rather, right in the name of God, but not this Bismillahi Rahmani Raheem Nanana This is your Muslim thing. But the previous Ahmed Arabs are used to the phrase Bismillah Allahu Akbar, in the name of the Supreme Lord.

00:19:36--> 00:19:59

The Prophet sallallahu Sallam says go ahead up to Bismillah Allahu Allah. Right is so for Qatar Bahasa Alina, the Allahu taala eroded. Suma Kala Oktober hava masala Alayhi Muhammad Rasulullah ki suhaila Imran now Ali writes, The following is what has been agreed to between Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa

00:20:00--> 00:20:09

Salah, Mohammed, the Messenger of God, and so he'll be number immediately. So he jumps in and he says lotia he to Anika Rasulullah sallallahu Karthika

00:20:11--> 00:20:29

Listen, no, no. How can you if this is an agreement between the two of us? How can you write Mohammed Rasulullah if I accepted that you were Rasulullah we wouldn't be having this conversation. We wouldn't be sitting on the opposite sides of the table. I wouldn't be opposed to you. He says rather

00:20:30--> 00:20:33

Oh, Duke is Mecca is a beak.

00:20:34--> 00:20:44

Write your name and your father's name. So the prophets Allah He said, I'm dentelles Ali, Baba masala Holly, Mohammed Abdullah he suhaila amarin.

00:20:45--> 00:20:56

Then he told me earlier the Allahu taala, who writes that this is what Muhammad the son of Abdullah has come to terms with or as agreed to with Sohail.

00:20:59--> 00:21:12

So, now, are here are the terms of the agreement. Number one, they both agreed both parties have agreed that they are calling a 10 years ceasefire

00:21:13--> 00:21:33

is for how to be an SEO Ashura. See Nina yamanouchi Hannah's way akufo Miranda, Allah Anna human attire. Okay, that's a second term. So, they will not fight each other. And not only that, but they will defend each other. If somebody else tries to instigate or pick a fight with them.

00:21:34--> 00:21:52

Number two, whoever leaves crush Makka crush and goes to join Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam without clearance from kadesh then that person will be returned back to British Muslim or non Muslim.

00:21:53--> 00:22:00

But if somebody leaves Quraysh, without clearance without approval, he will that person will be handed back over to Pradesh.

00:22:01--> 00:22:12

And if somebody leaves Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wasallam Madeira and comes to the operation Mecca, they do not have to return that person back.

00:22:14--> 00:22:17

And the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, Okay,

00:22:19--> 00:23:02

the next term of the agreement was, and this was standard operating procedure for treaties and agreements at that particular time. in Arabia, the next term of the agreement was if somebody would like to align themselves allied themselves with the Muslims, they can align themselves with the Muslims and they will be a party to this treaty. And if somebody wants to align themselves with the Croatian other tribe, once that affiliate themselves with the Quraysh, they can do so now and officially be entered and party to this treaty. And then they will be covered by the terms of the treaty as well.

00:23:03--> 00:23:32

So at this particular time, who's been who, who's who the Muslims already had very good terms in dealings with this was a tribe that was like a Bedouin tribe that was outside of the city of Mecca. They said, We would like to align ourselves and affiliates ourselves with Mohammed Salah the some of the Muslims, they were not Muslim yet, but they said we'd like to affiliate ourselves with them. And then bonacasa was written into the agreement as the affiliates of the Muslims.

00:23:33--> 00:23:55

As the associates of the Muslims, and Banu Baca, which was another tribe outside of Morocco, another Bedouin tribe outside of Makkah, they said we would like to align in affiliates and associate ourselves with the fresh and then they were written into the agreement as well. The next term now this is very important, even though I mentioned this as a term by Noosa.

00:23:56--> 00:24:12

Our affiliates associates of the Muslims by new backer or affiliates of the operation What that means is the Quran cannot attack the Muslims and Muslims cannot attack the fresh but what that also means is by new backer

00:24:13--> 00:24:18

the affiliates of the Quraysh cannot attack the Muslims or husa

00:24:19--> 00:24:21

and what that also means is Zara

00:24:22--> 00:24:25

cannot attack by new backer or the kurush.

00:24:26--> 00:24:51

All right, that's basically what this means. Then and this is very important to remember because this will lead this particular detail will lead to a major events later in the life of the prophets allottee Center. The next term of the agreement was an Nikita juwanna amaka hada forgotten hola Alina maka that you have to go back this year you are not allowed to enter into Makkah, however, however,

00:24:52--> 00:24:58

you can come back next year for the duration the total duration of three days

00:24:59--> 00:24:59

and

00:25:00--> 00:25:06

All you can carry with you are weapons that are normally carried when people travel.

00:25:07--> 00:25:49

Like you can't bring any artillery, and weaponry like as a military as an army, no army weaponry or artillery. But obviously at that particular time, everybody can carry this sword when you traveled, right so you can have that much that people travel with, but that has to be shaved. And that has to be tied up so that it's visible that you do not mean any type of harm, it's not threatening and you can come back in for three days and at that time you can do whatever it is that you'd like to do whatever religious ritual that you'd like to perform the Ramadan and they would come back we'll be talking about that later they would come back and that is considered the second Ramadan in the life

00:25:49--> 00:26:20

of the process of baby has kind of called the first Ramadan even though they didn't actually performed it at all. But it's another type of terminal called Saad, when you go for ombre and then you are blocked off by an enemy and you are not able to proceed, you then just remove your ROM you shave your head, you remove your ROM and that is considered the reward of Ramadan for you and then you try to make it up whenever you can. So if they be as the first then the follow up which is called the number two cabal which we will talk about is the second camera in the life of the prophets allottee setup.

00:26:22--> 00:26:29

So now it gets very interesting while they're they're writing up this contract and agreement and treaty and they haven't finalized it yet.

00:26:30--> 00:26:41

Abu jandal shows up who is Abu jandal Abu jandal is a young man from the kurush. He's a young man from the operation who has who had become Muslim.

00:26:43--> 00:26:54

And after becoming Muslim, he had been tortured and persecuted. He had been chained. He had been locked, he had been beaten, he had been tortured, because they were trying to dissuade him from Islam.

00:26:55--> 00:27:02

But he had been firm and steadfast and strong. And he had not lost the resolve he had not given up.

00:27:04--> 00:27:05

But the biggest

00:27:06--> 00:27:12

detail of all of this is this extremely devout young Muslim men

00:27:14--> 00:27:15

who held this faith

00:27:16--> 00:27:20

in the face of such torment and torture and persecution.

00:27:21--> 00:27:23

He was the son of sohaib banana.

00:27:25--> 00:27:37

This is where he'd been America's own blood, his own son. So Abu jandal comes running and he sees the prophets a lot a seller and he comes running into the arms of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam

00:27:41--> 00:27:49

and the narration says leave that he comes to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam where Mata hammer Allah Allah He Rasulullah sallallahu Sallam Phoenix he

00:27:50--> 00:28:07

and the prophets of autism became extremely emotional when he saw him. The prophets Allah isms eyes welled up with tears at singable gender and how desperate he was. And he said, O Messenger of God, please take me with you. Please take me with you.

00:28:10--> 00:28:19

And Suhail. When he sees his son, Abu jandal. He goes, stands up and he grabs him, and he hits him on his face,

00:28:21--> 00:28:22

slaps him

00:28:23--> 00:28:25

across the face as hard as he can.

00:28:26--> 00:28:28

And then he grabs him by his hair.

00:28:30--> 00:28:31

And he starts dragging him.

00:28:34--> 00:28:37

And he says, He turns to the prophets, Allah human says Dr. Mohammed

00:28:39--> 00:28:43

tartelette Jatin Khadija to benei ouabain, a cobbler and Yogyakarta.

00:28:45--> 00:28:47

And he says that Oh, Muhammad,

00:28:48--> 00:28:51

you awry, we've already shaken on this.

00:28:52--> 00:29:00

We might not be done writing it down. But we have already shaken on this. We've already agreed and we've shaken hands on this. This is done.

00:29:01--> 00:29:23

He's trying to say that abou general goes back with me, per the terms of our agreements. And the prophets, a lot of them says so that. That is true. Right? The promise of something is the pinnacle of truth and honesty, and integrity and decency says that is the truth. And then he grabs his own son, his own flesh and blood by the hernia June.

00:29:24--> 00:29:35

He starts dragging him on the ground and the sun is screaming and crying yada, yada sudama boo jendela screaming yamashiro muslimeen My Muslim Brothers

00:29:37--> 00:29:46

latu lol machiney kina yft Noonan aefi Dini. They're gonna take me back to Makkah. They torture me trying to get me to leave my religion.

00:29:48--> 00:29:52

And the people started getting more and more anxious and nervous and distraught,

00:29:53--> 00:30:00

wringing their hands, what do we do, what do we do? And the profits on the level and he was setting them very emotional.

00:30:00--> 00:30:05

tears in his eyes. He says yeah abandon his spirit while sipping

00:30:06--> 00:30:07

his spirit.

00:30:08--> 00:30:17

Be patient and never lose hope in Allah Fein Allah hi Jerry laka lemon ma Camila masala Athena Farah, genuine Maharajah

00:30:18--> 00:30:34

Allah will make a way for you, along will make a way for you in naka de la Vina obeying the law only so we have finally some type of peace with these people. Where are they now from Allah, Allah wa Taala the law.

00:30:35--> 00:30:44

And we took an oath, in the name of a law, and we gave our word to these people what to do obey Him.

00:30:46--> 00:30:49

And I can't break my word. We can't do them.

00:30:50--> 00:30:55

There's something bigger at play here. And you are being asked to sacrifice there's no doubt.

00:30:56--> 00:30:59

But somebody always has to sacrifice don't think.

00:31:01--> 00:31:05

And it's not that the Prophet sallahu somebody is asking someone to look at what the promises are sacrificed.

00:31:06--> 00:31:08

The three years in the shed above what we taught him

00:31:11--> 00:31:14

his own injuries and wounds on the day of

00:31:17--> 00:31:18

his own daughter

00:31:19--> 00:31:22

passed away and died while he was away at the Battle of bud.

00:31:24--> 00:31:28

His own uncle was killed and mutilated terribly.

00:31:30--> 00:31:35

Right. So he sacrificed he said, Look, sacrifices always required of some

00:31:36--> 00:31:42

and allies asking for your sacrifice. I am asking for your sacrifice here. But there's a bigger picture here agenda

00:31:45--> 00:31:47

Amaro the Allahu taala on who

00:31:49--> 00:32:03

he gets up, finally they let Abu jandal so he'll be number he allows a boo general to get up now that the process and kind of consoled him and comforted him and Abu jandal you know, kind of calm down.

00:32:04--> 00:32:30

So then the he lets him go, boo general stands up in search walking on marotti Allahu taala. And who goes and starts walking along the side of a vagenda kind of consoling him. He says his video about gender. Be patient, my brother, be patient. Find a man who silicone. These are mushy Kuhn idol worshipers? Why nama demo hiding him demo calb

00:32:31--> 00:32:34

he says that their blood is like the blood of a dog.

00:32:35--> 00:33:02

Right? These are filthy animals. It's like an expression in Arabic means and again, that seems kind of harsh, right? But you context is very important. He's talking to a man who is tortured by his own father, simply because he believes in something. He's not a criminal. He's a noble lineage. He's never heard a single person in his life. He just chooses to believe something. And they torture him because of that.

00:33:03--> 00:33:11

So I'm gonna have the Allahu talana consoling his brother, he says these are wild animals. Don't Don't, don't Don't mind them.

00:33:13--> 00:33:15

And then oh my god, Allahu taala on who?

00:33:17--> 00:33:41

He says while I'm walking with Him. And while I was talking to him, on what are the Allahu taala and who said that I had a sword on my side, kind of strapped to my side. And I started to walk in such a way where I kind of move my arm out of the way. And I kind of like stuck out like my hip a little bit. And I got close to him. So that if he wanted to, he could have grabbed my sword.

00:33:43--> 00:33:54

And Amaro, the Allahu taala who says Raja and Yahoo, the safer your fire ababu and deep down inside, I hope that he would grab the sword and he'd take care of his father.

00:33:56--> 00:33:59

Colorful Donna, Rajan will be happy when a father till

00:34:00--> 00:34:08

he says but his father took him away, and the deal was sealed. And when the Prophet salallahu alayhi wa sallam

00:34:09--> 00:34:43

was done, the contract the treaty was done. The profits a lot of a sudden a group of the machinery gone. A group of the Muslims were all called to basically be witnesses to the pact in the treaty like signatories to the treaty. Amongst them was Abu Bakr Siddiq honorable hottub Abdur Rahman bin Abdullah even suhaila number Sat Nav waqqas moden muslimah muckross Ebbinghaus right, who is still a machinic at that time, from their side I live in a Vitaly and so on and so forth. So there was an entire group

00:34:45--> 00:34:49

of people both from the Muslims and non Muslims who became signatories to this treaty.

00:34:50--> 00:34:53

Now, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam

00:34:55--> 00:34:57

at this particular time.

00:34:58--> 00:34:59

The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam

00:35:00--> 00:35:09

wanted to. He basically said, Now it's time for us to remove come out from a state of a home. We have to return back.

00:35:11--> 00:35:46

And the very famous story that takes place here is that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, he kind of his gesturing kind of telling. All right, let's go, let's go. The Sahaba are so dazed and confused by what just transpired. They're not ignoring the process of nor are they disrespecting or disobeying. It's like, there's so days you know, when you're really dazed and you don't even realize somebody's speaking to you. They're just kind of lost in their own thoughts about what's going on here, what is happening.

00:35:48--> 00:35:54

And the Prophet sallallahu Sallam has never seen the Sahaba ever hesitate around him.

00:35:56--> 00:36:13

So the profit margin was a little perplexed by this and he goes into the tents and Salima radi Allahu taala, and how the mother of the believers, the wife of the Prophet sallallahu Sallam is there is with them. And he kind of sits down and he seems concerned and she says, Yasuo law, what is the issue, and he says that I've never seen them like this.

00:36:14--> 00:36:15

Never.

00:36:17--> 00:36:24

So she says on messenger of God, they're just really dazed and confused, right now. They're just out of it. The world is spinning around them.

00:36:26--> 00:36:29

They came here with all this energy and fervor in spirit.

00:36:31--> 00:36:47

peacefully, they were going to do ombre and leave peacefully. And they were blocked. And not only that, but then they were had the basically the they entered into a treaty that is completely favorable towards the other side, makes them seem weak.

00:36:48--> 00:37:02

And not only that, but they just witnessed this entire tragedy with one of their own brothers. It's just a lot to process. But a messenger of God on was one of my says, never doubt for a second that they would follow you to the ends of the earth.

00:37:03--> 00:37:20

They're just a little confused. So don't talk to them. You just proceed with the rituals. And they will see you, you know how we say muscle memory, just naturally start doing something a certain way. This is spiritual memory.

00:37:22--> 00:37:27

That when you see the process of Get up, you just get up behind him when you see him sit down and you sit down, sit down in front of him.

00:37:29--> 00:37:36

Right so they'll start doing whatever it is that you're doing. Because that's that's what they know. That's how they've been trained.

00:37:37--> 00:37:54

So the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam got up, he sacrificed his animal. Then the profits a lot of these from sat down to have his head shaved, and the Sahabi by the name of Raj, even omiya. he shaved the head of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam,

00:37:55--> 00:38:10

and Filmora and NASA and Rasulullah sallallahu Salama kutna hora wahala for was a Boolean Haruna we're here when they saw that the prophets a lot he said um was had sacrifices animals getting his head shaved, they all got up started sacrificer animals and get their head shaved.

00:38:11--> 00:38:29

And then of course, this is the famous incident where the Prophet you know, following emulating the prophecy of some many of the Sahaba they shaved their heads and some of them just cut their hair didn't completely shave their head and the prophets a lot a some said May Allah shower His mercy upon those who shaved their heads

00:38:30--> 00:38:42

and the those who had gotten just cut their hair not shave their they said what about those who kept their messenger of Allah. And then again the process Some said May Allah shower is mercy upon those who shaved their head.

00:38:43--> 00:38:50

And they once again say, Well, what about those who cut their messenger of Allah and third time he said me I'm not shower, he's mercy upon those who shaved their heads.

00:38:51--> 00:39:26

And he said, what about those who only cut their hair messenger of Allah. And then the system says that, and also those who cut their hair. So from that, we get that the processor may do it three times for the person who shaves their head coming out of the seat of your home, and only once for the person who just cuts their hair after coming out of the seat of your home. That's why when you go and you perform hydrometer and you come out from the state of a ROM, you want to exit a ROM, you have to either cut your hair or shave your head. And both are permissible, but that's why they say it is more virtuous to shave their head to shave your head. Right? That's why I'm supporting this,

00:39:27--> 00:39:44

right buzz right here. Because it's more virtuous to shave your head, right? It might not be great for your hairstyle. Right? And you might owe somebody a little explanation of work when you get back. But it's all worth it because the promises are made to offer you three times versus one time. All right.

00:39:45--> 00:39:46

Nevertheless,

00:39:48--> 00:39:59

they now at this particular time, one very profound, remarkable, fascinating thing that I found in some of the narrations about this is that the prophets a lot he said, I'm these animals.

00:40:00--> 00:40:01

He was sacrificing.

00:40:02--> 00:40:09

Right and even some of the other animals that they had brought with him the prophets a lot of Islam was giving out the meat and also giving away some animals as gifts.

00:40:11--> 00:40:29

And one of the prophets, a lot of them sent a camel that actually had a ring made out of silver. So that camel itself is worth something than an outer ring made out of silver. That's where it's something the profits are lovely, some scented as a gift to the family of Abu Jan.

00:40:32--> 00:40:46

Right. So the, the or excuse me, the one I know what I wanted to mention was the prophets a lot. He said one of the camels that he ended up sacrificing on that particular day was one of the camels that used to belong to Abu Jad,

00:40:48--> 00:41:01

one of the camels that he sacrificed on that day, were one of the camels that used to belong to Abu Jad, almost kind of bringing it full circle to demonstrate the fact that this is outside of Makkah, the same Mecca where Abu Jihad tortured Muslims

00:41:03--> 00:41:36

and mocked and ridiculed the Prophet sallallahu Sallam and plotted and planned to assassinate the Prophet sallallahu Sallam and raised an army to burn Medina to the ground. And today, the Muslims outside of that city of Mecca as they are sacrificing animals in the name of Allah subhanaw taala. One of the animals sacrificed is an animal that used to belong to Abu Jamal that was recovered by the Muslims in the Battle of bunded. It is being sacrificed for the sake of a law at the hands of the believers of a law outside of the city of Mecca. Right and this was taken this many took notice of this particular fact.

00:41:38--> 00:41:39

Now,

00:41:40--> 00:41:50

the Sahaba they mentioned in a narration of Bahati that Hershey Amara chalet, salada mama ABF sobre la matanza de la la

00:41:52--> 00:42:03

and the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. The Sahaba say we went with the prophets a lot he set them for the Treaty of de BIA and it rained that night. very peaceful, beautiful rain.

00:42:04--> 00:42:47

So the prophets a lot he said them, we prayed somehow to fudge it and then he turned to us and he says that the rue de la palabra bukem Do you know what your master what your Lord Allah has proclaimed? And he said we they said we we responded Allahu Allahu Allah. Allah Allah knows best in his messenger knows best. And he said, Allah Allahu taala us by him in a body movement. Don't be careful Don't be this morning. amongst my slave some have risen up as believers in some have risen up as disbelievers for a madman Karla Mata Nabi Rahmatullahi wa ala he will be perfectly lucky for me nombe caffeine bill coca. cola moo moo Tina being nudged me Canada for McMinnville coke Aviva

00:42:47--> 00:42:59

coffee room be the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said that some people this morning are saying, we receive drain as the mercy of Allah and as a blessing of Allah, and as a gift from Allah.

00:43:00--> 00:43:08

Those are the people that believe in Allah, and they do not put their faith and belief in the stars and you know, and different things.

00:43:10--> 00:43:22

And there are those who say, No, no, no, we received rain because of, you know, the stars and horoscopes and all of these different things. They are people who disbelieve in a lot, and they'd rather put their faith in the stars.

00:43:24--> 00:43:25

Now,

00:43:27--> 00:43:31

what I wanted to take this opportunity to explain

00:43:33--> 00:43:39

Well, I wanted to mention just a couple of things here and then when shala will wrap up the session.

00:43:40--> 00:43:46

The for the one of the things that I wanted to mention here towards the end of the session, is that

00:43:50--> 00:44:24

a barrage even as even a narration of body says there are do not animal fats have atomica you people think after the time of the prophets, Allah He sent me he would tell the Muslims, you people think that the true victory was the conquest of Mecca. And he says that the victory of the conquest of Makkah, was a victory. The opening of Morocco was a victory, no doubt. But we considered the real victory to be when we put our hands in the hands of the prophets a lot is him and gave him the oath of allegiance under the shade of the tree at the time of the Treaty of IBM that was a real victory.

00:44:26--> 00:44:34

And he says at that particular time, that while when we were done, will they be a two bedroom

00:44:36--> 00:44:37

there was a well there

00:44:39--> 00:44:44

there was a welder that is present even till today. There was a well at the place of who they BIA

00:44:46--> 00:44:59

and he says that we wanted to go after we were done with the Treaty of Abia. We wanted to go and get some water from the well to drink and clean up and things like that. But when we got there, we found

00:45:00--> 00:45:15

That the well was dried up. It was very little water in the well and the water was so low, we couldn't get it out properly. So we went to the profits a lot easier. We said on messenger of Allah, what do we do? So the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam comes to the well.

00:45:16--> 00:45:18

And he sat down

00:45:20--> 00:45:30

at the edge of the well. And they said, Please bring me a cup of water. And we brought him a cup of water. And the profits a lot they sort of made will do

00:45:32--> 00:45:35

with the cup of water, and he made your IRA.

00:45:36--> 00:45:40

And then the profits of lobbyists import the rest of the water into the well.

00:45:41--> 00:45:57

And he says that we went away for a little while. And when we came back, the well was completely full of water. Through the dryer and the miracle of the profits, a lot of them were We were all able to use the water and we were able to feed it to our animals as well.

00:45:59--> 00:46:16

In another narration, the Sahaba used to say fudge Allah Min dooney Delica fatahna kariba the very soon Allah will provide a victory. The Sahaba used to say that there's not that is not speaking about the conquest of Makkah, that is talking about the Treaty of Libya. How would they be I was a victory, and I'll explain in just a minute.

00:46:17--> 00:47:05

And not only that, but Mr. Missouri, he says that there was no victory greater in the history of Islam than the Treaty of Libya. Why? Because after the Treaty of who they BIA, never again, was there any fighting between the Muslims and the Polish, so many lives were spared because of that treaty. That is what we consider a victory. Mr. Missouri, who is the teacher of Mr. Malik, and he is a student of many of the Sahaba like Abdullah bin Rama. He says that the true victory was a treaty of Arabia because it spared lies. That we as Muslims do not consider the shedding of blood of victory, we consider the preservation of life to be victory.

00:47:09--> 00:47:09

And

00:47:14--> 00:47:30

another narration also mentions that are on the Treaty of her davia on that particular journey. Many of the Sahaba they felt very, very thirsty, they didn't have enough water. So they brought the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, a container.

00:47:32--> 00:48:01

And the prophets a lot of the Sahaba say that the prophet SAW them well. They didn't have enough water and they had a container that our water he didn't have, you know that it didn't have enough water and the Sava started to get really worried and really nervous, because he said we don't have enough water. The Prophet sallallahu Sallam said Malecon what's wrong with all of you? Why do you see so nervous, and so messenger of Allah, we don't have enough water to make will do with and all we have to drink is what's left in this container. The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, he put his hand into the container of water.

00:48:03--> 00:48:07

And the Sahaba say that we saw water pouring out from between his fingers.

00:48:08--> 00:48:30

Water miraculously coming from between his fingers. And he says that it filled up the container of water and that water itself was so miraculous, and so much better. We all drank until we were completely full of water satisfied, quench our thirst. And then we all made will do with that water. And water was still left in the container.

00:48:31--> 00:48:39

And jabbing or the Allahu taala Allah was telling the story, somebody asked him how many of you were that day and he says, there were 1400 of us.

00:48:40--> 00:48:50

1400 people from one container of water, everyone drank and everyone read will do and there was still water left in that container. This is another divine miracle of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam.

00:48:52--> 00:49:29

And now some of the virtues of the people of who they be, and inshallah with that, I'll conclude that the prophets a lot of them said, it's a Hadith of the prophets, a lot of them said to the Sahaba at the time of who they be on the Deva navia and some of you are the best of the people on the face of the earth. In another narration, it mentions that happened, Hathor, who was Sahabi he had a servant and his servants was complaining about how thick and while complaining about him while his complaint was valid in the prophets a lot he said was

00:49:30--> 00:49:32

you know, taking his complaint

00:49:33--> 00:49:46

and was going to do something about it. The servants got a little emotional and in being emotional he said God also law they had holes in the heart table and narrow or profit salon he said I'm hot tip is gonna go to hell.

00:49:47--> 00:49:59

He was really angry and upset he's a hot tip is gonna go to hell. And the Prophet sallallahu Sallam said comes up to you lie, lie You can never go to hell. I know who shahida bodhran will be

00:50:00--> 00:50:06

Because he participated in the Battle of budget and he participated in the Treaty of her day BIA this hadith of Sahih Muslim

00:50:09--> 00:50:10

in another narration

00:50:12--> 00:50:40

hafsa radi Allahu taala on her, she narrates this. It's a hadith of Sahih Muslim, that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, he said laiya Hayden and Nara insha Allah gumminess Habesha tiene la de la Edina biodata ha, that the prophets a lot he said him said that those people who gave the oath of allegiance to the prophets a lot, he said will never go to hell. They can never ever enter the fire of home.

00:50:42--> 00:50:43

And

00:50:47--> 00:50:52

lastly, and finally, as I was mentioning that hamdullah we had the

00:50:53--> 00:51:34

the blessing and the fortune to visit that blessing place where this had taken place. This was a place that was marked by the Sahaba and remembered by the Sahaba. And at the time of Omar bin Abdul Aziz Rahim Allah tala Masjid was built there, the ruins in the remnants of which you can observe still till today, and a machine has been built next to it that is operational today. And sorry, the Messiah, Rahim Allahu taala, who is the Tabby alien, a student of the Sahaba like Abdullah bin Rama, he talks about going and visiting that place and offering prayers at that particular place, and many other Sahaba they also note that they used to go and teach, you know, their students and their

00:51:34--> 00:52:14

children, they used to take them to her davia and teach them about what had transpired at the place of who they be. Now, what I wanted to conclude on was a little bit of a recap and a little bit of a thought about the significance of who they be. I mentioned to you the narrations in which the Sahaba are saying that we considered the greatest victory to be the Treaty of who they be. What was the victory at the time and that the Treaty of Arabia and you remember the the frustration of Amara, the Allahu talanoa, at that particular time at the Treaty of Abia? Well, the many of the scholars, he talked about the fact that the Sahaba were so confused and even frustrated because they said, we've

00:52:14--> 00:52:34

sacrificed everything we have given everything. We gave our wealth, we gave up our homes, we left our homes, we left our cities, we left our families if need be, we sacrificed our lives, we put our lives on the line, we gave up everything.

00:52:35--> 00:52:45

And we're standing, we're standing here today, putting our hand in the hand of the prophets a lot and saying we will fight these people if we have to. And we're willing to fight to the death.

00:52:47--> 00:52:48

But now we're being told

00:52:50--> 00:53:04

that leave it all behind, let it all go. let everything go put down your arms and agree to this treaty that is so obviously one sided and favorable towards the enemy.

00:53:06--> 00:53:11

And the world will see this as defeat. We have to accept defeat.

00:53:12--> 00:53:16

We don't get to do we have to go back with our heads hanging low.

00:53:17--> 00:53:23

After everything we've sacrificed. And now we're not even asking for some miracle. We're saying we will fight.

00:53:25--> 00:53:33

We'll fight. But we're being told no. Accept it. Go. We just watched our brother be dragged away by his hair.

00:53:35--> 00:53:36

And we just have to say

00:53:38--> 00:53:40

it's okay. And go back home.

00:53:43--> 00:53:51

But Allah subhanaw taala was asking for one last sacrifice for them. And that sacrifice is the sacrifice of your own pride.

00:53:53--> 00:53:56

Even if that pride is coming from a good place.

00:53:58--> 00:54:02

We are Muslims. We believe in the truth. We stand for what's right.

00:54:03--> 00:54:10

We are willing to fight for the sake of a love with the side by the side of the Prophet of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.

00:54:11--> 00:54:17

But put your foot on your ego, sacrifice your pride, even your sense of self

00:54:19--> 00:54:32

and put it all on the line and sacrifice all of it and give up all of it to Allah subhanaw taala Can you make that sacrifice? Because even those who can sacrifice their life in their wealth and their property

00:54:33--> 00:54:35

sometimes can't sacrifice their pride.

00:54:37--> 00:54:39

But give it for your private sacrifice it for a low

00:54:40--> 00:54:43

and no sooner than they did they comply

00:54:44--> 00:54:46

and they were willing to sacrifice their pride

00:54:47--> 00:54:59

and they sacrifice the animals and they shave their heads and came out of the ramen yesterday heads rang a bit low and they started to march on their way back to Medina. No sooner than they started marching back towards Medina. Then are the Allahu

00:55:00--> 00:55:11

Jelani says the prophets a lot. He said well traveled towards the back of the army. And I was traveling even behind the prophets a lot in Salem, because I didn't want him to see me because I was so embarrassed about how I had behaved and what I had said.

00:55:13--> 00:55:19

And I saw that the Prophet Sessoms had kind of lowered. And that was usually a sign of revelation coming on in.

00:55:21--> 00:55:25

And I thought to myself that armor you are not important enough

00:55:26--> 00:55:39

for revelation to come down upon, but I still couldn't help but be afraid that maybe what if Allah subhanaw taala is condemning me for speaking out of line in front of the prophets a lot, he said, Oh, what did you do? I started to get nervous.

00:55:41--> 00:55:50

And no sooner than the profits, a lot of them raised his head back up. Revelation was complete the profits and all of a sudden said aina, Alma wears armor.

00:55:51--> 00:55:56

And he said, at that point, my soul wanted to depart from my buddy. I said, let me die.

00:55:58--> 00:56:10

And I went up there and I said, Yes, sir. Messenger of Allah, voice trembling, and the prophets, a lot of them said, congratulations. Allah has just revealed enough Metallica for 10 bobina.

00:56:11--> 00:56:18

You sacrificed your lives, you sacrifice your wealth, you sacrifice your properties, you sacrifice your homes, but today you have sacrificed your pride.

00:56:20--> 00:56:39

Even though it came from a place of good, but you sacrificed your ego and you sacrificed your pride. And so Allah subhanho wa Taala now guarantees to you, and promises you and informs you that we have given you full and complete total absolute victory of victory and like anything humanity has ever seen.

00:56:42--> 00:56:59

And that's the big lesson here. And that's why the Sahaba would look back and say that was the most glorious day of our lives. That was the greatest day of dignity and honor, because on that day, we learned to completely and absolutely give up everything to Allah subhanaw taala and Allah honored us on that day.

00:57:01--> 00:57:30

So May Allah subhanaw taala allow us all to humble ourselves before Allah to sacrifice everything we have and even ourselves for the sake of Allah. And may Allah subhanaw taala allow us to study and to benefit and to understand the life of the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, Chawla will conclude here and we'll proceed on from here in the coming sessions. May Allah subhanaw taala give us all the ability to practice everything has been said and heard. So how to live your homies Rihanna columbium Nick
